Background

Zelda in The Legend of Zelda is the first Zelda appearing in the The Legend of Zelda series, and the fourth Zelda chronologically in the Fallen Hero Timeline.

An army of evil, led by Ganon, seeks to possess the Triforce to plunge the land of Hyrule into darkness. Stealing the Triforce of Power, Ganon sought to find the last known piece, the Triforce of Wisdom.

Princess Zelda, as a member of the bloodline that carries and protects the Triforce of Wisdom, broke the Triforce piece into eight fragments and hid them throughout the realm in an effort to avoid its possession under Ganon's hand. At the same time, she sent out her handmaiden, Impa, to look for a hero to save the land. Ganon learned of what Zelda had done and imprisoned her within his lair under Death Mountain, surrounded by a wall of flame.

Link eventually finds the eight fragments of the Triforce of Wisdom scattered throughout Hyrule and travels to Death Mountain where, upon defeating Ganon, he frees Zelda from her prison, returning peace to the land.

The Triforce of Wisdom is comparable to The Triforce of Power, which holds the essence and power of Din, making it superior to Hylia who is in turn superior to the Wind Fish, who created all of Koholint island and it's inhabitants in his dream, which contains stars in the sky along with being acknowledged as a parallel universe, and erased all of it via waking up. As The Triforce of Wisdom can combat a foe with The Triforce of Power it should be superior to Zant who with a portion of the Triforce of Power's power warped the Twilight Realm. Ganon giving Zant a portion of his power gave him the power to merge the light world and the twilight realm. Yuga Ganon with just The Triforce of Power was going to consume Lorule and Hyrule. The Triforce of Power's magic should be far superior to Yuga's magic who brought Hyrule and Lorule closer together)

Has the Blood of the Goddess Physiology which includes: (Superhuman Physical Characteristics (Some Zelda's have been capable of feats such as taking hits from Ganondorf and briefly fighting him off. Others have been able to survive attacks from beings such as Bongo Bongo and take hits from Deku Scrubs), Weapon Mastery (Zelda’s seem to have a natural ability with the bow and sometimes the sword), Immortality (Type 8. All Zeldas are reliant on the Blood of the Goddess allowing her to reincarnate endlessly), Enhanced Senses (Sensed dread filling the air), Magic (All Zelda's possess magic which is the reason behind their various abilities across games), Telepathy (Can telepathically talk to Link, can still telepathically reach out to one even while trapped within a painting), Telekinesis (Telekinetically shattered and sent all pieces of the triforce across Hyrule), Power Bestowal (Can bestow upon one the arrows of light), Possession (Can possess phantoms that have already been possessed. Once she finishes possessing the thing she's possessing it gets destroyed. Though this requires the removal of her soul), Precognition (Type 1.
