Background

The Arwing is the personal super-high performance combat spacecraft used by members of the Star Fox Team. Developed by Space Dynamics Co., Ltd., the Arwing is equipped with the revolutionary G-Diffuser system, an anti-gravity device which allows the pilot to accelerate or decelerate instantaneously and perform a wide variety of high performance combat maneuvers. By executing an aileron or barrel roll, the Arwing can also generate an electromagnetic shield which will deflect most optically based weapons, such as laser beams. The Arwings used by the Star Fox Team are much different from any production versions as they have been extensively modified with improved armor and advanced weapon systems, such as Hyper Laser Homing Bolts and Smart Bombs. Despite numerous revisions and redesigns over the course of the team's history, the many models of Arwings have maintained the balance of speed, power and performance that they are credited for. The Arwing starfighter is the primary battle vehicle of the Star Fox Team, and is almost the symbol of their team.

Summoning and Transformation (The Arwing can summon any firearm onto its wings mid combat along with change its wing size, shape, and weight), Information Analysis (Can scan the DNA of lifeforms), Forcefield Creation (Can project a shield around itself), Dimensional Storage, Velocity Manipulation, and Technology Manipulation (The Arwing has a grapple beam that can store items and pull in enemy ships, preventing them from attacking and disabling their engines), Statistics Amplification (Various mods can alter and increase the Arwing's physical performance), Fire Manipulation, Heat Manipulation, Matter Manipulation, and Durability Negation (Can use Fire and Overheat class weapons, the latter of which tears apart armor at the molecule level to bypass defense), Ice Manipulation, Cold Manipulation, and Homing Attack (Can equip Frost and Freezed-based weapons, both of which can freeze opponents and those who touch the frozen area. Weapons like the Frost Barrage also have homing capabilities), Gravity Manipulation and Density Manipulation (Can increase the mass of enemies to prevent them from moving, crush them, or even pull in multiple opponents into one area), Black Hole Creation (The Imploder uses quantum superpositional technology to create mini-singularities, essentially making a Black Hole), Time Manipulation, Time Stop, and Temporal BFR (Can alter space and time with the Levitator; locking opponents into a seperate timestream, slowing them down and preventing them from attacking), Shockwave Generation (The Shockwave fires wave-like attacks at enemies)

Standard Equipment:

• Blaster: This Laser Cannon, equipped in the nose of the Arwing, fires a powerful laser beam.

• Twin Blaster: By collecting the Twin Blaster item, the arwing can fire two laser beam Blasters simultaneously, one from each wing. When one or both of its wings are destroyed, it will revert back to a single Blaster firing out of the ship's nose.

• Nove Bomb: This will drop a bomb that damages all the enemies that are within range of the explosion.

• Power Shield: This powerful defensive shield can be obtained by taking a Shield Item. While the Power Shield is active, the Arwing will become transparent (wire frame) and will not take damage from enemy attacks or collisions. The Power Shield will wear off after a certain number of objects have been collided with.

Weaknesses: Can lose the twin lasers if too much damage is taken and can lose to the power shield if it collides with too many objects.

Note: This is the Arwing of Star Fox Zero and Starlink. Although not much has been said about the canonicity of Starlink's events to Star Fox, it is likely canon given it follows and references the events after Star Fox Zero, and was approved by Nintendo. Furthermore, Ubisoft was responsible for Starlink's development, who already have a history of making Nintendo-approved crossovers.
