Paper Mario: The Origami King - The Duel-Bladed Duelist

Background

Scissors, The Dual-Bladed Duelist, is a member of the Legion of Stationery who guards the end of the green streamer and is the boss of Bowser's Castle in Paper Mario: The Origami King, being the last member guarding the end of a streamer to be fought. Scissors is a pair of green right-handed scissors with King Olly's insignia on it, and is stated to be King Olly's top lieutenant amongst the Legion of Stationery.

Scissors first appears slicing Bowser Jr. to pieces outside the entrance of Bowser's Castle when he first tries to gain entry into the castle. Later, it is shown assaulting the Koopa Troop, slicing them into tiny pieces and sticking their faces to a Paper Macho Buzzy Beetle, including that of Kamek's, to create a Paper Mistake Buzzy Beetle. Scissors narrowly misses cutting Mario when they first meet, claiming it would be uninteresting if Mario was immediately cut to pieces. It then sends out the Paper Mistake Buzzy Beetle as a warm up for Mario before engaging him directly.

Unlike the other Legion of Stationery members except for Stapler, Scissors does not say anything when defeated; instead, it simply falls flat and explodes when Olivia pokes it over. Kamek, Bowser Jr., and the Koopa Troop are all restored to normal after Scissors is defeated.

Scissors also mercilessly slices up anyone who approached Bowser's castle such as Bowser's Jr and made a Paper Macho Buzzy Beetle out of pieces he cut off Bowser's Minions.)

Attack Potency: Universe level (Can harm Mario), Far Higher with their blades (Is able to defeat Mario in a single hit. Mario merely touching Scissors' blades alone, even with Iron boots which protect him from spikes one shots him. Was able to easily defeat Bowser Jr. Scissors even saw Bowser Jr. and Kamek who scale to Mario as weak. Mario was able to defeat King Olly who was folding the very fabric of reality in order to reshape the world into his own image)

Durability: Universe level (Can take attacks from Mario and Olivia's Vellumental transformations)

It can even cut off actions off the rings to make things more difficult), Paint Manipulation which includes: Conceptual Manipulation (Paint makes up everything, anyone in Mario can remove paint by attacking), Life Manipulation & Death Manipulation (Paint is all of life, and removal of it can cause a person or object to have no life within, having their concept of life be removed), Blood Manipulation (Paint makes up all of blood within someone, removing it is the same as removing their blood), Mind Manipulation & Memory Manipulation (Paint makes up the mind, as paint beings can directly speak to your mind by coloring your thoughts. Loss of paint can also remove your mind and memories), Spatial Manipulation (Paint makes up all of space. Removing it makes space as if it was solid), Metaphysics Manipulation (Soul Manipulation; Paint makes up souls and ghosts. Standard Tactics: Scissors usually blitzes their opponents and cuts them to shreds. For opponents deemed worthy such as Mario, Scissors BFRs their opponent onto a ringed battlefield, it then puts on it's sheath to give their opponent a slight advantage. If the cover is broken, Scissors will no longer hold back and use strictly their ultimate attack, Final Cut.

Weaknesses: Scissors will challenge itself when fighting strong opponents such as Mario so it puts a scissor sheath on itself to limit it's power.
