Gogeta (GT)
Gogeta is the fusion between Son Goku and Vegeta, through use of the Metamoran Fusion Dance. Because of this, Gogeta is a sort of counterpart to the Potara Earrings Fusion of Goku and Vegeta, Vegito.
Because of the nature of the Metamoran Dance, Gogeta’s fusion runs on a time limit, which is normally around 30 minutes. However, transformation into further Super Saiyan forms will decrease this time tremendously.

Goku and Vegeta first accessed this form during their fight with Janemba, becoming Super Saiyan Gogeta and ending the fight almost immediately with a Soul Punisher. Later, Goku and Vegeta resort to the Fusion Dance once again during their battle with Omega Shenron, becoming Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, though they don’t take the battle seriously enough and are unable to finish the fight in time.
General Information
Name: Gogeta
Origin: Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn
Gender: Male
Age: 30 minutes old (Fusions only last around 30 minutes)
Classification: Alien, Metamoran Fusion
Species: Saiyan
Occupation: None
- During Fusion Reborn: Deceased (Goku and Vegeta during the events of Fusion Reborn are both in the afterlife)
- During Shadow Dragons Saga: Alive
- During Fusion Reborn: Neutral Good (Gogeta is so concentrated that he doesn't even utter a word to his opponents. The moment he faced Janemba in battle, he almost immediately used his most powerful technique and eliminated him. Gogeta allows for no playing around, no room to even revel in combat for a moment, and instead ends things as soon as possible)
- During Shadow Dragons Saga: Chaotic Good (Directly opposed to his first appearance, Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta seems to derive more from Vegito's personality. He doesn't take fights seriously, even when the entire universe is at stake, and will waste his limited time on playing pranks, as seem with his fight against Omega Shenron)

Power Source: Ki (All beings in Dragon Ball[1][2][3] have ki, the very life force energy of all characters[4], ki allows a fighter to extend beyond their bodies limits, allowing them to even[5] block attacks that would otherwise[6] kill them from[7] raising their guard[8], higher level users can lower their own durability to allow people far below them to fatally wound them[9])
Up to Metropolis level (Potency) (As a fusion of both Son Goku and Vegeta during the Buu Saga he should be comparable to Vegito. Superior to Son Goku, who, moments before Gogeta's appearance, shook the afterlife with his Super Saiyan 3 transformation, along with being unimpressed by Dabura's power, who he compared to Perfect Cell, who is far superior to his Semi-Perfect form, who destroyed several islands with several blast). Varies: Skill with Strongest Charged Blast (Charged Blast have one focus all of their energy into one single point[10], putting the blasts power far beyond what their peak strength is[11], allowing them to destroy things they couldn't prior with their regular attacks[12], this also allows them to use charged attacks that can stop enemies far beyond their level, such as Tien Shinhan pushing back Semi-Perfect Cell with his Neo Ki-Ko-Ho[13], along with stopping an attack shot from Buu absorbed Gotenks[14]. Strongest charged blast can gather ki to shoot out blast far beyond what the character is normally capable of[15], with blasts capable of[16] seriously damaging/destroying[17] the Earth along with completely obliterating the opponent[18]. Charged Blast also rely heavily on emotional states for example Gohan not believing in himself[19] was having Cell overpower him in a beam clash[20])
Up to Metropolis level (Potency) (Could casually overpower Omega Shenron, even kicking away his Minus Energy Power Ball). Varies: Skill with Strongest Charged Blast

At least Class 50 (Is superior to Super Saiyan 3 Son Goku, who is superior to his Super Saiyan Buu Saga self, who could casually fight while carrying 40 tons)
At least Class 50
Massively Hypersonic (Far superior to Super Saiyan Gotenks who flew around the earth a few dozen times in this time frame)
Massively Hypersonic
Massively Hypersonic (Can react to foes Superior to 22nd Budokai Son Goku, who could dodge a mouth blast from Tambourine, which he used to tag the flying nimbus which is noted to move at Mach 1.5[21])

Massively Hypersonic
Stamina: Superhuman (Superior to Son Goku, who traveled over Snake Way for countless days straight, and who, as a kid, was able to survive training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for nearly a year, which is said to be incredibly physically taxing and difficult to stay in for even a short amount of time)
Range: Standard Melee, Interstellar with Ki Attacks (Ki attacks can reach out of the planet and to other planets. All ki attacks should be comparable to Goku's kamehameha, which reached all the way to the sun)
Intelligence: Gifted Intelligence (Contains the mind of both Goku and Vegeta. Goku replicated a Kamehameha after seeing it once, which is supposed to take 50 years to learn according to Roshi, copied Master Roshi’s ultimate technique the afterimage after seeing it done, could copy Tien’s Solar Flare and his flying technique and could copy the demon clan’s air ki techniques)
Knowledge: Master level (Contains the mind of both Goku and Vegeta, who are both combative experts. Vegeta was able to outsmart Frieza’s entire army and lay low during the Frieza Saga, and managed to trick the likes of Doctor Gero into fleeing by feigning confidence after trashing Android 19)
- Chi Manipulation & Ki Manipulation (All beings in Dragon Ball[22][23][24] have ki, the very life force energy of all characters[25], ki allows a fighter to extend beyond their bodies limits, allowing them to even[26] block attacks that would otherwise[27] kill them from[28] raising their guard[29], higher level users can lower their own durability to allow people far below them to fatally wound them[30])
- Aura
- Projection: A users ki aura can exert itself[31] as a weapon to attack[32].
- Explosive: Ki users through powering up can form an entire aura around themself, radiating their immense power[33], where depending on their immense strength, can cause them to explode their aura outwards to remove excess ki from themself[34].
- Mood Reflection: Goku and Piccolo Jr. with their auras and their stern concentration on each other reflected in their electric auras, even shooting electricity at each other[35].
- Emotional Empowerment (It's noted that ki users can receive energy through one cheering them on[36]. Ki users can be greatly increased by their emotions and beliefs, Son Goku explains that Son Gohan needs to remember the time he fought Cell and bring out all of the power he has, this way he can lose to no one[37] where it's shown during the Cell beam clash that he was holding back greatly out of fear of destroying the earth but from being cheered on and using all of his power within him, he was able to overpower Cell[38])
- Attack Reflection (All Ki users are able to reflect attacks just by being stronger than their opponent[39]. Examples include, Nappa deflecting a masenko from Son Gohan[40], Son Gohan being able to bounce back the spirit bomb[41], Son Goku deflecting a crusher ball from Jeice[42], Frieza deflecting a Final Burst Cannon from Vegeta[43], Son Goku reflecting multiple death beams back to back from Frieza[44], and Future Trunks being able to completely repel an energy blast with his hand from a Frieza Soldier just by being much stronger than them[45])
- Homing Attack (Ki users can create attacks that will home in and chase a target forever[46])
- Penetration Damage
- Weapon Creation (Ki users can create energy weapons out of their attacks[50])
- Power Absorption & Energy Transferal (Ki users can transfer their ki to others and absorb the ki given to them from others[51])
- Attack Nullification
- Power Nullification
- Ki Energy Based: Through having greater ki, one can nullify the powers done through ki attacks, such as Frieza being able to nullify a hakai ball[55], which fully destroys a target[56], though he is unable to resist a hakai ball from Toppo due to him being stronger[57], this ability however only works on ki, attacks unrelated, characters cannot resist through being stronger, such as how Vegeta, Krillin, & Son Gohan are unable to resist Guldo's psychic powers[58], along with even the likes of Son Goku[59].
- Forcefield Creation (Ki users such as Cell can generate forcefields around themselves[60]. These forcefields can be expanded[61], and used to protect others and defend against attacks far higher then the user[62]. Forcefields effectivel allow the ki user to be able to block substances from other ki techniques, such as poisons[63]. Ki users can also project forcefields around themselves to protect themselves from ki absorptions that require grabbing them and bringing them into one's body[64])
- Super Armor (Through releasing one's ki, they enter a state known as "Hyper Mode"[65], in this state they do not flinch from weak melee attacks[66])
- Self-Destruction (Ki users in Dragon Ball are able to[67] release all of the energy within them[68] to cause a massive[69] self-destruction of energy that normally kills the user and turns them into dust[70] though one can control it to surviving but having no stamina or energy left[71])
- Dormant Power Reservoir (Ki users have a dormant power reservoir within them, as shown in arcs like the Buu Saga where Babidi saps this energy in order to use the energy to revive Buu and break his seal[72])
- Internal Destruction (Powerful ki users can overload enemies with their ki, causing them to swell up and explode from the sheer density of ki within them[73])
- Binding

- Advanced Healing: Ki can be used to heal beings, allowing them to survive even with half their torso[79], it can also heal from near death[80].
- Healing Singular Targets
- Resurrection
- Resurrection of the Deceased (Limited): Ki users can resuscitate ones heart from death through instilling lifeforce into their ki and hitting their heart, restarting it[81].
- Resurrection from Exhaustion: Can heal downed allies to give them ki back, reviving them[82])
- Intimidation & Spirit Manipulation (Ki is the manifestation of one’s lifeforce[83], along with the aura giving one the feeling of being crushed[84], exerting fear[85] into the target, sometimes making them incapable of moving as their[86] body is instinctively stuck due to the sheer difference in power[87])
- Link Manipulation & Mind Manipulation (Characters can link their ki together and train within each other’s mind enacting in image training[88])
- Vibration Manipulation
- Electricity Manipulation
- Weather Manipulation (Powerful Ki users can generate entire storms through merely powering up alone, Nappa used this in order to conjure the electricity from the storm[93]. Goku showcases this when he first turns super saiyan, causing a massive lightning storm in the background[94])
- Energy Manipulation (Ki is the latent power in one's body, this latent power allows them to form and create energy from controlling their ki[95])
- Explosion Manipulation (Ki attacks can create massive explosions[98], or control the ki to set off a huge explosion under the enemy[99], or in front of them[100])
- Portal Manipulation
- Non-combat applicable: Characters in GT can link their minds together to open a portal between the living realm and the other world[101].
- Heat Manipulation
- Fire Manipulation (Ki users can manifest fireballs to throw at enemies[105])

- Martial Arts
- Striking Arts: Before training under Master Roshi, Son Goku was trained by Grandpa Gohan to use techniques such as the jajanken (Rock, Scissors, & Paper) along with being able to deliver punches and kicks while blocking and defending from attacks. Went to train under Master Roshi and learn the turtle hermit style, a style training one to break the wall of humanity[118] mastering the art in both body and mind[119]. This style requires one to train in knowledge[120], work on one's stamina[121] work on their muscles and speed[122] dodge attacks even while tied to a rope in a short range[123] all the while wearing 20-kilo shells[124]. The Turtle Hermit Style are incorporated within this[125], allowing for students that trained under this style to be capable[126] of fighting against other martial artists[127] without needing to be taught any real fighting[128] along with taking no damage from attacks due to the style training their durability[129].
- Spiritual Arts: Told by Master Roshi to go out into the wide world and learn more about life, extending his knowledge and growing further for three years. Trained under Mr. Popo and Kami in the style of not wasting movements and making one's heart still going beyond merely just using one's eyes and being able to tell what actions one has done behind them being capable of seeing weak spots in techniques after only a little exchange.

- Regeneration (Mid-Low; Goku can recover his eye sight back after getting his eyes cut[131])
- Accelerated Development (Training, Physical Stats, Skill, & Abilities; As Goku trains he naturally grows stronger at a much faster rate then any of the earthlings. As an example, in the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament saga, Goku in a few months of training matched Master Roshi, one of the strongest Earthlings. Goku is able to increase his ki allowing him to mimic various attacks and gain access to abilities that even if teachers could not, such as how he was able to access Kaio-ken, which even King Kai couldn't access when he made the move itself)

Notable Techniques
- Flight: With a mastery of Ki control, Gogeta is able to fly at incredibly high speeds.
- Ki Blast: Using Ki, Gogeta can concentrate it into a ball that he uses as a projectile attack.
- Ki Sense: Gogeta is able to detect lifeforms and power levels from far off.
- Kamehameha: The iconic move coined by Master Roshi, which Gogeta has adopted for himself. This starts as a blue Ki ball, which is charged in Gohan’s hands before releasing as an incredibly powerful beam.
- Super Kamehameha: This is an amplified version of the Kamehameha which has a larger and more devastating beam, which Gogeta uses by first bolstering his Ki.
- Big Bang Attack: One of Vegeta’s greatest moves, which Gogeta can use by proxy. This has him extend his arm forwards and form a large blue ball of Ki in his palm, which he then launches at the enemy.
- Big Bang Kamehameha: The combination of Goku’s Kamehameha Wave, and Vegeta’s Big Bang Attack. Gogeta forms a blue ball in front of him, before launching a gigantic blue beam out of it, disintegrating the opponent completely.
- Soul Punisher: A small rainbow ball of Ki formed in Gogeta’s palm, consisting of purifying energy. When this attack collides with a soul of darkness or evil, it completely erases them and purifies the negative energy.
- Ultimate Impact: Gogeta charges at the opponent and kicks them into their stomach, bicycle kicking them up into the air while saying "Here goes!" He then flies up to the opponent, and attacks them with a powerful barrage of punches and kicks at a very rapid rate. He then appears behind the opponent saying "Its over." Next, he turns around to elbow the opponent in their face and spin kick them away. Finally, Gogeta teleports above the opponent and hook kicks them down into the ground, inflicting a massive amount of damage.
- Punisher Shield: Gogeta swipes his left arm out to slice the air with a bluish-green barrier of sorts before delivering a swinging downward kick. The barrier reflects any energy blasts from afar as a giant blue blast, and Gogeta can teleport behind the foe to kick them at a higher angle down into the ground.
- Super Saiyan: Gogeta is referred to as Super Gogeta while in this form. In Fusion Reborn, immediately after the successful fusion of Goku and Vegeta, Gogeta is at Super Saiyan as both halves (Goku and Vegeta) had previously mastered the transformation. Even though Janemba easily took care of Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta, he was unable to even hurt Gogeta at all, with a full-force punch from Janemba to Gogeta's face not doing anything. In a matter of seconds, Gogeta was able to destroy Janemba without any problem whatsoever, even while at this stage, he is still many times stronger than Goku as a Super Saiyan 3 and Vegeta as Super Saiyan 2.
Other
Standard Tactics: Gogeta will engage in hand to hand combat, along with shooting ki attacks. If facing against a particularly evil being he will hit them with Soul Punisher.
Weaknesses
- Standard Ki Weaknesses: Ki users that do not have sufficient training over their emotions put their power within a mental lock, with changes to their emotions can seriously limiting their powers or making them uncontrollable[142]. Their emotions can also have them instinctively block using the full power of their attacks out of fear of the destruction along with lack of confidence in themselves[143].Ki users can only sense targets moving at super speed through feeling their chi[144], with them becoming so accustomed to tracking energy that they've lost their eyes for movement[145]. Ki users can get hit by off guard attacks from characters far slower then them[146]. If ki users are paralyzed or their nerves are numb, they can be killed by much weaker attacks[147]. If a Ki user is inflicted with any kind of status, disease, or poison, powering up or transforming will put further strain on the body[148] and can speed up the process of poison[149]. Users of Ki Sensing cannot sense beings that invisible, even if the character is in front of them attacking them, they have a hard time countering them due to being invisible[150]. Users of Ki Sensing also have a harder time sensing the true being using illusions, requiring them to focus in on energy fields to see who is moving and who is casting the illusion[151]. Due to the nature of ki draining stamina and energy, Dragon Ball characters ki usage requires them to usually use their higher levels of energy in short bursts, using a large amount of ki overtime can greatly weaken them to the point that characters far lower then them can actually harm them with attacks[152]. Taking large amounts of damage can greatly deplete a ki users attacks, making it where attacks that would otherwise kill massively weakened characters, only pushes them back[153]. Ki users cannot put all of their ki and strength into an attack if parts of their body are broken/injured[154][155], they also lose half of their chi if something like one of their arms are badly injured or broken[156].Ki users that are able to ki sense cannot do it when their guard is dropped, such as when Vegeta was able to sneak attack Son Goku during the end of their fight in the Buu Saga[157]. Despite some ki users being able to reach blasts that can destroy planets through charged attacks or techniques[158][159][160][161], they have not shown to be able to tank such blasts themselves[162][163][164], with attacks that have[165] destroyed several[166] planets in the series[167] always killing the character. Even characters such as Majin Buu's body cannot withstand the energy of a planet exploding[168]. Using ki volley attacks come with the caveat of their aim being rather poor, making it harder to hit moving targets. If ki users are at all possessed, even by accident, their true self will be sleeping within, with the possessor needing to awaken them[169]. Even if awoken, they are immobilized and unable to move without the possessor giving them the ability to[170], even with them wanting to wake up, they cannot do it[171]. Specific waves can can suppress a ki users power, and put their consciousness to sleep[172]. If Ki users stamina is broken, they will unable to be able to continue fighting for a short while, this will also cancel out any ki attack they were attempting to use, including ultimate's[173], this also adds on that ki users guards are down while charging ultimate attacks. Their stamina can also be broken if a character moves far too fast and surprise attacks them while they're charging their ki[174]. Ki Users can also be grabbed out of charging their attacks[175]. When ki users radiate their Ki at its highest, their body is also freed the most, making them open to attacks and making them easy to possess[176]. Ki attacks can be blocked by magma based attacks, such as even when Vegeta's strongest charged blast, the final flash, was being blocked by Magetta's magma[177]. Ki users have far lower reactions and speeds when they do not have their ki up or are not on guard, such as when Mai's sniper would've hit Goku Black if she didn't miss[178].
- Turtle Hermit Style Weaknesses: As the style does not incorporate any real fighting techniques[179], it has a heavy reliance on durability[180], stamina[181], muscles and speed[182], along with agility[183], thus anyone with superior statistics then them can easily overpower this style[184], along with this any character capable of using attacks that bypass defense altogether such as pressure point strikes can easily overcome a turtle hermit style user, even if they use extra forms and techniques to heighten their defenses[185]. Thus anyone with techniques that ignore statistics or are simply higher in statistics than a Turtle Hermit Style user can easily overcome this style.
- Saiyan Weaknesses: Saiyans cannot survive in the vacuums of space[186]. If the moon is at all destroyed, they cannot transform into Great Apes. Along with this if their tail is cut off or they have no tail, they will not be able to turn into a Great Ape. Saiyans used to having their tails can feel off balance with it removed.
- Unique Weaknesses
- Fusion Reborn: The fusion will wear off after 30 minutes.
- Shadow Dragons Saga: The fusion will wear off after 5 minutes due to being in Super Saiyan 4. He doesn’t seem to take battles seriously, which doesn’t work well considering his time limit.
Note
- Some clips used on the profile come from an anime or movie due to the fact that some abilities from ki use shouldn't function much differently from how they can in canon, along with this sometimes the anime version/video game version of a scene will be used for cleaner visuals. Toriyama himself directly overlooks scenes in the anime and movies and gives Toei the thumbs up[190].
- The speed scaling for PLs are taken with a grain of salt as there are noticeable times where someone's speed isn't equal to their power, such as Burter being faster then Recoome and Jeice, along with Super Saiyan Grade 3 Trunks having his power greatly increased but his speed decreased.

Codex Statistics Questions
Q: What about the planetary feats in Dragon Ball?
A: Planetary feats are normally done through their strongest charged blast, where they can gather ki to shoot out blast far beyond what the character is normally capable of[191], with blasts capable of[192] seriously damaging/destroying[193] the Earth along with completely obliterating the opponent[194], though they themselves are never capable of leaving this unscathed.
Frieza throws a destroy the planet death ball attack but it doesn't destroy the planet. Goku then interestingly notes the reason the planet didn't blow up is because Frieza was too scared of getting caught in the blast[195] . Vegeta's final flash is noted it's going to destroy the planet and Perfect Cell, who is beyond Vegeta, couldn't tank the blast and had to dodge it last second or it would've killed him[196]. Goku's kamehameha was going to destroy the earth and Cell cannot tank this blast, needing to regenerate[197]. Semi-Perfect Cell explosion was consistently noted it was going to destroy the planet and Gohan and it killed Goku[198]. Ultimate Gohan dies to an attack that destroys the earth, his guard was up too since this was when he was fighting Super Buu[199]. Kid Buu shoots a blast trying to destroy the planet, with Vegeta noting he's going to take himself out with it if he lets it off[200]. In Dragon Ball GT, Great Ape Baby Vegeta shoots a super galick gun that he claims will destroy Earth, when Goku is hit by it, he is knocked out to the point that he can't move for a good while, Elder Kai and Shin later state that Baby is going to shoot another blast that will destroy the planet on, greatly injuring Baby if he's caught in the Blast and will kill everyone on the planet if done[201]. Frieza destroyed the entire earth, killing Vegeta in the process[202]. In the Dragon Ball Super Manga, Gohan tells Goku that he doesn't need to hold anything back and can go all out because anything that happens to the Earth can be restored with Dende and the Dragon Balls. Yet, none of Goku's all out attacks destroy the planet but just heavily causes shockwaves around it[203]. Semi-Perfect Cell unleashes a several blast that destroys several islands Android 16 notes that the attacks are just strong enough to not kill Android 18[204].
In the fight of Trunks vs. Mecha Frieza, who is far stronger than his final form, Mecha Frieza immediately goes for his strongest attack, the Supernova. In the original Z anime King Kai even states this is ten times stronger than the power he used on Namek:
- DBZ Kai Version[205].
- Original DBZ Anime Version[206]. The attack is directly noted that it could destroy the planet, but doesn't because Trunks catches it, when Mecha Frieza proceeds to detonate it, the explosion is massive but the planet is still intact, implying Frieza must target the core in order to destroy the planet.

- Conditions: None.
- Location: Destroyed City
- Note: Gogeta was easily superior to Omega Shenron, however the time they could use this fusion was much shorter then anticipated causing them to defuse right before they were going to finish him off.

First Appearance: chapter 4
Category: vehicle
Explanation: A mystical cloud which Goku received from Kame-sennin. It was originally a part of the giant Kinto-un owned by Karin-sama, and long ago Kame-sennin broke a piece off and took it with him. In the past it was wiped out by Tambourine, and the current Kinto-un is the second generation. Goku went through many adventures with it, and it was passed on to his son Gohan.
Special Characteristics: An extremely mysterious riding cloud. It freely flies through the air in accordance with its rider's will, going from stationary to its maximum speed of mach 1.5. Though it's very convenient, only those with pure hearts can ride it. If those with wicked thoughts get on the cloud, they will simply plunge through it. Also, it will soon reconstruct itself even when hit by attacks from bombs or missiles, and will only be wiped out when attacked by a Demon Clansman's ki. (Daizenshuu 4, p.144)
Anime: In the anime version the pure-minded Namu also rides it, as do Panji and Norimaki Arale in the movies." - ↑ Dragon Ball Z Buu Saga
