Background

Soldier is one of the several men enlisted in the gravel war by Redmond and Blutarch. Before he was hired he desperately wanted to fight for his country in WW2 despite being rejected by every branch in the military. So he took a boat to Poland and started a Nazi killing spree awarding himself along the way with medals. He soon discovered that the war was already over. From around 1968 he was hired by Redmond and Blutarch who he worked for fighting other mercs for around three years. In 1971 Grey Man took siege on Mannco with Soldier fighting a robot army for around a year.

It's usually their job to put vastly more firepower in a package that's the same size or much bigger. Grudgingly the work was completed, and this was the result, a compact shotgun.
