Background

Star Man is a Robot Master created by Dr. Wily for both space exploration and combat, designed with high agility and the ability to fight at optimal efficiency in low-gravity environments. During the events of Mega Man 5, he occupied an abandoned satellite base orbiting Earth, being also allowed to concurrently serve as the supervisor of its remodeling. His Special Weapon, the Star Crash, creates a star-shaped energy barrier around him, allowing him not only to protect himself, but also to attack by throwing it at his enemies.

Mega Man 5 Star Man is one of the eight bosses. In battle, Star Man jumps around the room. At times, he will freeze in mid-air, then activate his Star Crash. After jumping around the room more, he will fire it at Mega Man. If the player uses the low gravity to their advantage, Mega Man can avoid it by jumping over it or slide past it if they are fast enough. He is vulnerable when he is not protected by his Star Crash barrier. His weakness is Wave Man's Water Wave as it can pass through Star Man's barrier and negate it. It defeats him in seven hits. After defeating Star Man, Mega Man not only gains his Star Crash, but also the Super Arrow.

They can also transform others into a beam of light and send them to other places with the teleporter, essentially removing them from the battlefield), Consciousness Transferal (Robot Masters can transfer their consciousness into other bodies and machines, with characters like Doc Robots having the Robot Masters programs and data directly installed with them, essentially acting as a more powerful body^[15]^[16]), Divine Protection (After defeating ViA■ and destroying the Robot Destroy Program within him, The Player was able to fully correct the Deep Log in its entirety. However, Via says The Player's story isnt over and RiCO repeats this and says that there will be future program errors in the Deep Log for them to correct and it would be insecure for her alone to manage it alone. Star Crash: The Star Crash is Star Man's Special Weapon in the Mega Man series. This weapon creates a star-shaped energy barrier that rotates at high speed around the user for protection, and it can be thrown at enemies in the direction the user is facing, being useful for both offense and defense. It improves on the previous Leaf Shield and Skull Barrier by being able to protect the user from projectiles and be able to be thrown.

Standard Tactics: Star Man will move swiftly while creating his star shaped barrier around him to attack his opponent with.

Weaknesses: Has a weakness to Wave Man's water wave. If his data is corrupted, he will be incapable of coming back.
