==Summary==
</tabber>
'''Golden Freddy''', real name '''Michael Brooks''', is a mentioned character in the Five Nights at Freddy's series.
==Background==
'''Golden Freddy''', real name possibly '''Cassidy''', is a mentioned character in the ''[[Five Nights at Freddy's|Five Nights at Freddy's series]]''.

She appears in the Office after a certain sequence of events is triggered. When checking CAM 2B, the player will see a poster on the wall. It can switch between three different versions: a normal picture of Freddy, a distorted version (in which she appears to rip off her head), or a close-up of Golden Freddy's face. While this picture of her is being viewed, a young child's laugh can be heard.

If the player sees the Golden Freddy poster and then switches back to the Office, Golden Freddy will be waiting for them. Her appearance causes different images to flash on the screen for split seconds, along with the words "IT'S ME". Golden Freddy will wait idly for up to 5 seconds before killing the night guard, abruptly closing the game. This does happen in the mobile version but the chances of it occurring are much lower than the PC version.

Unlike all of the other animatronics in the game, Golden Freddy does not give any indication of approach or arrival within the Office. She completely disregards the doors, appearing whether they are open or closed. Unlike the other animatronics, the screen will be covered by a static image of Golden Freddy's face upon attack, akin to the images that flash during Mike Schmidt's hallucinations.

The moment the player sees her, the player must bring up the monitor before Golden Freddy kills the night guard. Doing so will cause her to disappear, thus preventing death and a game shutdown.

Alternatively, the player can avoid her entirely by simply not looking at the West Hall Corner camera poster (CAM 2B), which will prevent her from being summoned in the first place. However, this may prove difficult, as players may be tempted to watch this particular corner in case [[Bonnie]] is making a move toward the Office.

Golden Freddy will only become an active character on Night 6 and the Custom Night if he is enabled. At random, Golden Freddy can instantly appear in the Office or the hall just outside, slumped in a similar position to the one he had in the first game, or simply as a giant ghostly head, oddly floating in the distance, respectively. Shortly afterward, his body will vanish, only for his head to rush at the player and kill them if they do nothing to counter him.
|-|Ultimate Custom Night=
{{Quote|He will occasionally appear in your office. Throw on your Freddy mask or pull up your monitor quickly to cause him to disappear.|Golden Freddy Ultimate Custom Night description}}
Similar from the second game, Golden Freddy in his withered form will appear in the Office after the player lowers the monitor down. Putting on the Freddy Fazbear mask or pulling the monitor back up will cause Golden Freddy to disappear. Failing to do so while staring at him for too long will result in a game over with Golden Freddy's jumpscare.

Background

Golden Freddy, real name possibly Cassidy, is a mentioned character in the Five Nights at Freddy's series.

However, this may prove difficult, as players may be tempted to watch this particular corner in case Bonnie is making a move toward the Office.

Powers and Techniques

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Body Control (Animatronics can be dismantled, such as Mangle[14] and move around despite that), Enhanced Senses (Can see and move around in the dark[15]), Stealth Mastery (All animatronics are capable of hiding within the cameras, requiring the night guard to use the technology of the building to find them[16]. Can quickly leave out of sight once a room goes dark[17]), Self-Sustenance (Respiratory Self-Sustenance, Nutritional Self-Sustenance, & Restful Self-Sustenance), Possibly Information Analysis (Some of the toy animatronics parts have been put in the old animatronics[18], the toys have a facial recognition software to detect criminals[19]), Technological Manipulation (An animatronic's mere appearance causes the technology to flicker and turn off[20], all animatronics upon entering a room causes the camera to go static[21]), Berserk Mode (It's stated that animatronics becomes more active as the week progresses[22]).

Resistance to Electricity Manipulation (Every animatronic in Pizzeria Simulator can be shocked without much damage[23]. Sister Location animatronics can take controlled shocks[24])
Creation (Created and gave flesh to the animatronics of Ultimate Custom Night[25]), Clairvoyance (Golden Freddy is here and is always watching[26]), Resurrection (Golden Freddy will always bring back William Afton[27] in order[28] to torture him forever[29]), Cosmic Awareness (Golden Freddy can recreate characters from other universes, such as Old Man Consequences[30]), Possible Illusion Manipulation (Standard Illusions; The possessed at times can make the building change[31]. Hallucinations can be shown flashing in the player's eyes in FNaF 1[32], but it's unknown if Bonnie or any of the animatronics from Five Nights at Freddy's are causing this)

Sheer Will, Possession, & Limited Fusionism (Like others in the verse[34], their sheer will of vengeance melded[35] into the animatronic, making his body one with it[36]. Even if their bodies are separate from the animatronics, they can retain a form of[37] sorts that are incorporeal[38]), Undead Physiology (The Crying Children are spirits that are running off of vengeance[39]. They will only truly disappear after their birthday party is complete[40]), Flight (As ghost, they naturally can fly[41]), Incorporeality & Invisibility (As dead spirits they're naturally incorporeal, turn invisible after William Afton's supposed death[42]. Golden Freddy can disappear from sight and re-appear as merely a head[43]), Astral Projection (Even if their bodies are separate from the animatronics, they can retain a form of[44] sorts that are incorporeal[45]), Time Travel (Should scale to Shadow Bonnie, who can travel back to the Crying Child's party and give them cake[46]), Time Paradox Immunity (Grandfather Paradox; Unaffected by Shadow Bonnie going back in time and giving them cake as they still roam around in FNaF 1[47]), Extrasensory Perception (Can see Shadow Freddy[48]), Illusion Creation (The crying children can create hallucinations of their cries on walls[49]. Golden Freddy's appearance creates many text images to appear such as "it's me"[50]), Teleportation (Spirits such as Golden Freddy can teleport around[51]), Body Control (Spirits such as Golden Freddy remove his entire body and reappear as just a head[52]), Pocket Reality Manipulation & Dimensional Travel (Golden Freddy is the one who created the hell room in Ultimate Custom Night, along with all the animatronics[53]. Other spirits[54] can create[55] similar spaces[56] as shown in FNaF 3[57]. Other animatronics and spirits such as Shadow Bonnie can access these areas[58]), Mind Manipulation & Breaking the Fourth Wall (Golden Freddy's jumpscare can instantly crash the game, in-universe this would essentially be making the person go unconscious through overloading the character with their hallucinations[59]. Other spirits such as Shadow Bonnie are capable of doing the same[60])

Other

Standard Tactics:

He appears in the Office after a certain sequence of events is triggered. When checking CAM 2B, the player will see a poster on the wall. It can switch between three different versions: a normal picture of Freddy, a distorted version (in which he appears to rip off his head), or a close-up of Golden Freddy's face. While this picture of him is being viewed, a young child's laugh can be heard. If the player sees the Golden Freddy poster and then switches back to the Office, Golden Freddy will be waiting for them. His appearance causes different images to flash on the screen for split seconds, along with the words "IT'S ME". Golden Freddy will wait idly for up to 5 seconds before killing the night guard, abruptly closing the game.

He will occasionally appear in your office. Throw on your Freddy mask or pull up your monitor quickly to cause him to disappear.
~ Golden Freddy Ultimate Custom Night description
Similar from the second game, Golden Freddy in his withered form will appear in the Office after the player lowers the monitor down. Putting on the Freddy Fazbear mask or pulling the monitor back up will cause Golden Freddy to disappear. Failing to do so while staring at him for too long will result in a game over with Golden Freddy's jumpscare.

Weaknesses: If it hits 6 AM, the animatronic no longer targets and resorts to its daytime functions[61]. Can be fooled by the Freddy mask[62]. Golden Freddy requires one to keep their sight on them to attack, thus doing things like looking away from them will cause them to disappear[63]. As Golden Freddy's spirit is not directly connected to the animatronic body, they have less control, being able to only teleport while in a limp state[64].

Sometimes a timeline gets so full that the only way to tell a real story is have the story set in a different timeline, an alternate universe, a different location, or perhaps from a vantage point that isn't entirely what it appears to be."
