Golden Freddy

From The Codex
"Mature Content"
This character or verse has mature themes and concepts, thus those of young age are ill-advised to look through these.

Background

Golden Freddy, real name possibly Cassidy, is a mentioned character in the Five Nights at Freddy's series.

She appears in the Office after a certain sequence of events is triggered. When checking CAM 2B, the player will see a poster on the wall. It can switch between three different versions: a normal picture of Freddy, a distorted version (in which she appears to rip off her head), or a close-up of Golden Freddy's face. While this picture of her is being viewed, a young child's laugh can be heard.

If the player sees the Golden Freddy poster and then switches back to the Office, Golden Freddy will be waiting for them. Her appearance causes different images to flash on the screen for split seconds, along with the words "IT'S ME". Golden Freddy will wait idly for up to 5 seconds before killing the night guard, abruptly closing the game. This does happen in the mobile version but the chances of it occurring are much lower than the PC version.

Unlike all of the other animatronics in the game, Golden Freddy does not give any indication of approach or arrival within the Office. She completely disregards the doors, appearing whether they are open or closed. Unlike the other animatronics, the screen will be covered by a static image of Golden Freddy's face upon attack, akin to the images that flash during Mike Schmidt's hallucinations.

The moment the player sees her, the player must bring up the monitor before Golden Freddy kills the night guard. Doing so will cause her to disappear, thus preventing death and a game shutdown.

Alternatively, the player can avoid her entirely by simply not looking at the West Hall Corner camera poster (CAM 2B), which will prevent her from being summoned in the first place. However, this may prove difficult, as players may be tempted to watch this particular corner in case Bonnie is making a move toward the Office.

Can quickly leave out of sight once a room goes dark[17]), Self-Sustenance (Respiratory Self-Sustenance, Nutritional Self-Sustenance, & Restful Self-Sustenance), Possibly Information Analysis (Some of the toy animatronics parts have been put in the old animatronics[18], the toys have a facial recognition software to detect criminals[19]), Technological Manipulation (An animatronic's mere appearance causes the technology to flicker and turn off[20], all animatronics upon entering a room causes the camera to go static[21]), Berserk Mode (It's stated that animatronics becomes more active as the week progresses[22]).

Resistance to Electricity Manipulation (Every animatronic in Pizzeria Simulator can be shocked without much damage[23]. Sister Location animatronics can take controlled shocks[24])

Other

Standard Tactics:

He appears in the Office after a certain sequence of events is triggered. When checking CAM 2B, the player will see a poster on the wall. It can switch between three different versions: a normal picture of Freddy, a distorted version (in which he appears to rip off his head), or a close-up of Golden Freddy's face. While this picture of him is being viewed, a young child's laugh can be heard. If the player sees the Golden Freddy poster and then switches back to the Office, Golden Freddy will be waiting for them. His appearance causes different images to flash on the screen for split seconds, along with the words "IT'S ME". Golden Freddy will wait idly for up to 5 seconds before killing the night guard, abruptly closing the game.

Weaknesses: If it hits 6 AM, the animatronic no longer targets and resorts to its daytime functions[61]. Can be fooled by the Freddy mask[62]. Golden Freddy requires one to keep their sight on them to attack, thus doing things like looking away from them will cause them to disappear[63]. As Golden Freddy's spirit is not directly connected to the animatronic body, they have less control, being able to only teleport while in a limp state[64].

Sometimes a timeline gets so full that the only way to tell a real story is have the story set in a different timeline, an alternate universe, a different location, or perhaps from a vantage point that isn't entirely what it appears to be."
