Is this the so-called Great Gonzales? Unh! Well, it's me, your worst nightmare! The new and improved Rawk Hawk! Don't think I forgot you, punk!

I'm reborn, you coward! My training regimen would blow your mind! I'm on the fast track back to the top, and ain't NOBODY gonna get in my way! Rawk!

And still...on rainy days, I feel the bruises your hammer of shame left on this bod, and I feel the RAAAAAAGE again!

If you EVER show your face in the ring again, I'll beat you so bad your momma won't even recognize you! Remember the RAAAWK!

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Martial Arts (Prior to defeating Mario, Rawk Hawk was the champion of Glitz Pitz), Acrobatics (Can preform multiple spins mid-air during his attacks), Breaking the Fourth Wall (Speaks directly to the player), Accelerated Development (Stated to have gotten stronger), Vibration Manipulation (His stomps can lower down the stage), Poison Manipulation (Gave Mario a poisoned cake), Non-Standard Interaction (The Mario cast regularly interacts with ghosts), Self-Sustenance (Respiratory Self-Sustenance; The Mario cast can consistently breathe in space and water just fine), Regeneration (Mid; Should be comparable to every character in-battle who can recover from getting squished by the stage hazards).

Resistance to Conceptual Manipulation/Paint Manipulation
Paint Manipulation which includes: Conceptual Manipulation (Paint makes up everything, anyone in Mario can remove paint by attacking), Life Manipulation & Death Manipulation (Paint is all of life, and removal of it can cause a person or object to have no life within, having their concept of life be removed), Blood Manipulation (Paint makes up all of blood within someone, removing it is the same as removing their blood), Mind Manipulation & Memory Manipulation (Paint makes up the mind, as paint beings can directly speak to your mind by coloring your thoughts. Loss of paint can also remove your mind and memories), Spatial Manipulation (Paint makes up all of space. Removing it makes space as if it was solid), Metaphysics Manipulation (Soul Manipulation; Paint makes up souls and ghosts. Removing it is the equivalent of destroying your soul), Empathic Manipulation (Paint makes up all emotions. Removing it would mean the removal of emotion), Power Nullification (Paint makes up the ability to use powers. Removing it would mean the removal of using powers)

  1. "If you're familiar with things like Popeye and some of the old comic characters, you would oftentimes see this cast of characters that takes on different roles depending on the comic or cartoon," Miyamoto said. "They might be businessman in one [cartoon] or a pirate in another. Depending on the story that was being told, they would change roles. So, to a certain degree, I look at our characters in a similar way and feel that they can take on different roles in different games."
