Background

Driver is the main protagonist of the Drive franchise. In the original Drive, he helps a poor family while their father is in prison. However, once the father gets out of prison, he reveals that he is in debt and Driver tries to help him get out of debt to help the family, but all he does is get himself into this mess with the mafia. He manages to kill most of the "players" and goes into hiding in order to protect the family

In Driven, he is also the main protagonist and tries to run away from his past under a new name and staying low. However, he cannot run away from his past and is forced to face it later on in the story.
