Mario, I will follow you to the end, I swear it! I feel bad for the princess, but that queen must fall before us! And when she does, you and I can... Well, anyway, let's take this fight to her!
~ Vivian

Background

Vivian is a major character in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. She originally worked as a member of the villainous Shadow Sirens alongside her sisters, Beldam and Marilynq. Later, Vivian defects from the Shadow Sirens and joins Mario as his fifth party member. She is consistently put down by her oldest sister, Beldam, and has had a poor relationship with both her sisters for quite some time when Mario meets her. Although she suffers from an inferiority complex throughout the events of the game, she learns to respect herself as she travels with Mario.

Statistics

Tier: 2-C

Name: Vivian

Origin: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

Sex: Female (Despite arguments for Vivian being depicted as a cross-dresser exist, it's more likely that Beldam referred to Vivian as male as an insult due to official translations having text that supports this along with the sequel still referring to Vivian as female. Furthermore, the kanji for "otokonoko" cannot be found in her Catch Card description despite being claimed by others that it is. Thus, the English translation of the game will be the primary source for Vivian's sex)

Age: Unknown

Classification: Shadow Siren

Status: Alive

Alignment: Neutral Good (Naturally assists Mario and others to help them on their adventure. Despite being a villain initially, this was only due to being forced by her sisters)

Attack Potency: Universe level (Capable of harming the Shadow Queen, who created the Crystal Stars, which can blow up the universe[1]. Capable of harming Mario, Bowser, and Princess Peach)

Durability: Universe level (Can take hits from the Shadow Queen, Mario, and Bowser)

Stamina: Superhuman (Can fight dozens of battles in a sitting, and go on an adventure that took the spans of days. Able to complete the Pit of 100 Trials, which are 100 battles that includes the stronger boss, Bonetail)

Range: Standard Melee Range to Tens of Meters, Tens of Meters to Hundreds of Meters with items. Universal with the Crystal Stars

Intelligence: Above Average (Vivian is a good fighter who can use various weapons without prior training. She's even able to stand up against those with decades of experience)

Powers and Abilities

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Magic, Martial Arts (Defeated the Glitz Pit champion Rawk Hawk in a fight), Accelerated Development (Vivian became powerful enough to surpass herself when she had the Crystal Stars, which were used to weaken the Shadow Queen. In which no character was able to deal any damage to her. As shown in the Bonetail battle, Vivan no longer needs them to harm someone who's above The Shadow Queen. Bonetail was stated by Goombella to be stronger than the Shadow Queen. And added with his better stats, it makes a lot of sense. Prior to that, Mario and co. couldn't harm the Armored Harriers at all, even losing the battle. Up until Mini-Yoshi came, they were able to defeat them, twice. The cast was then able to defeat the rest of the Glitz Pit fighters, each one being ranked higher than the other. They were able to defeat Bowser, who was able to one-shot Rawk Hawk, a previous boss. Shadow Peach [the Shadow Queen's weaker form], one-shots Grodus, another previous boss. Mario and co. also survives that exact attack), Fire Manipulation (With Shade Fist, Vivian's punches can burn enemies and set them on fire.
