Tessa James Elliott, often just called Tessa, was the posthumous central figure of Murder Drones and inadvertently played a role in humanity's destruction.
Tessa was the daughter of James and Louisa Elliott. Her parents salvaged various discarded Worker Drones from a nearby dump, repurposing them as her companions and servants at Elliott Manor. Tessa formed a particularly strong bond with Serial Designation N, V, J, and Cyn, who were all influenced by the Absolute Solver's power over her body.

Pre-SeriesTessa Elliott was born to Louisa and James Elliott. Little is known about her early life, though it is clear she came from a wealthy family and lived in a manor with her parents. It is heavily implied that Tessa faced mistreatment from her parents, with her mother, Louisa, chaining Tessa in her bedroom whenever she misbehaved, an action that left Tessa with a sensitive wrist. Tessa struggled to interact with other humans, and her only true companions were Worker Drones. Fascinated by Worker Drones, Tessa would venture to the nearby scrapyard to repair and refurbish discarded Drones, bringing them to the manor as her friends. She would even dress them up and give them names and wigs resembling her deceased relatives. Her behavior was unsettling to others, including her father, James, while her mother referred to J, N, and Cyn as "dumpster pets." HeartbeatTessa makes her first appearance in a flashback at the start of the episode, during a dream that N has about his past life as a Worker Drone serving in Elliott Manor on Earth. Before N encounters Tessa directly, her father, James, is heard saying that they "need to curb her trips to the dump" and expresses concern over where she's getting hair for her drones, calling it creepy. Later, J knocks N down and then halts to greet Tessa, noticing her glitching slightly. Based on J's reaction, it seems that Tessa holds some authority over the various drone maids and butlers at the manor. Tessa is seen with a newly-repaired Worker Drone, which hides behind her for comfort, while she smiles at N, who senses an unsettling aura from the new maid drone. The PromeningTessa makes her first present-day appearance at the episode's end, arriving at Copper 9 in a landing pod. Once her pod lands smoothly, Tessa, now an adult and a certified JCJenson technician, jumps out and immediately decapitates a Worker Drone with a sword. A rebuilt J soon follows, tossing her the keys to the ship. Tessa then states that she and J have "maintenance work" to take care of. Cabin FeverAlthough Tessa doesn't physically appear in the episode, Uzi experiences a vision of young human Tessa (the Absolute Solver taking her form) briefly standing in the corner with her back turned to Uzi. However, when Uzi looks back, the apparition vanishes, and instead, a human hand emerges from behind the corner, startling her. Uzi soon realizes she is alone. HomeIn Home, Tessa appears through N's memories, which Uzi accesses via hacking. In these memories, Tessa is shown to have J as her partner while being enamored with N for being a "cute butler." However, she is wary of Cyn, sensing something is wrong with her, and secretly collaborates with J to lock Cyn in the basement. Tessa first appears in the gala room with J, visibly distraught over her inability to interact with humans. She flinches and touches her wrist when she and J clink glasses. She runs to greet N but is upset to see he brought Cyn, who reveals that Tessa and J had been imprisoning her in the basement. Tessa’s mother Louisa arrives, displeased by the drones' presence. Tessa, J, and Cyn are chained in Tessa's room during the gala by Louisa (with Tessa’s wrist chained), while N is chained to a tree in the swamp, left to be devoured by crows. Furious, Tessa blames Cyn for N's punishment, but the Solver reveals its eldritch form and assures Tessa that it won’t discard her or her pets, warning her to stay away from the gala. Horrified by the threat to everyone’s lives, Tessa speaks to J about Cyn committing taboos, enraging J enough to break their chains. The two quietly make their way through the mansion, avoiding guests while searching for a way to kill the "robochild." They briefly swap a revolver and medieval sword they find, until N intervenes, warning them about V being under the Solver’s control. Tessa and J assist N in obtaining the basement key, staying behind to hold off V. Tessa and J arrive at the ballroom, where they confront Cyn. Tessa attempts to shoot Cyn and throws objects at her as Cyn reveals her true Absolute Solver form and takes control of J, who locks the door, trapping Tessa. The Absolute Solver then kills everyone off-screen, with Tessa's screams and cries for her mother heard by N from the basement. In the present, Tessa and J meet Doll, who acquired the Keybug from Uzi as part of their deal to take her to Cabin Fever Labs. Tessa shoots at Doll, ensuring she’s not like Cyn, which annoys and angers Doll. The trio moves forward until N, V, and Uzi confront them for answers, and the episode cuts off. Dead EndContinuing from the last episode, N is surprised to see Tessa alive. She excitedly tries to pick him up but chokes on the "toxic air," before being bitten by an angry Uzi, who demands to know why she and J are there. Tessa and J explain that Cyn has disappeared from Earth, her last known action being the sending of Disassembly Drones to the human exoplanets. Before anything else can happen, Doll betrays the group, snatching the Keybug and running to the lab ahead of them. J and Tessa try to stop her but fail as Doll heads underground. Tessa tells Uzi that Doll believes her parents were experimented on in the labs, and gives J the keys to her ship. She then joins the group as they head into the lab. The four (N, Uzi, V, and Tessa) find a room with destroyed Disassembly Drones. Tessa explains there's a security system meant to counter them. After typing on a computer, she claims that, as a human, she can control the system, but awkwardly hides a paper that says "ACCESS DENIED" reflected in her visor. They locate a secret elevator in the lab, but Tessa is dragged away by a trap. Tessa later appears bound to a bed, with Beau cutting into N. Tessa and N manage to escape, and she shows him how Earth currently looks on a computer. As she explains how the Solver took control of Cyn and destroyed Earth, a photo of a young, injured Tessa from after the gala massacre appears. Tessa tells N her mission is to enter the labs, find the list of infected drones, and destroy them. She also tells N he must choose the universe over saving Uzi. A sentinel then appears and attacks N. Tessa orders it to "be a nice dingo," but the sentinel, confused when its boot-loop light doesn't work on her, bites her. Seeing her blood, the sentinel deactivates itself. More sentinels approach, but Uzi's Solver powers destroy the doors' control panel and allow them to reach the room where Alice, Uzi, V, and Beau are. Tessa is later seen with N when he wakes up, just as V drops down from the ceiling, angrily confronting Tessa for not being able to control the sentinels. Uzi wakes up and hugs N, and V watches Tessa with both concern and suspicion. The sentinel that bit Tessa earlier wakes up with red eyes, while the group sees an unconscious Doll holding the Keybug down the hallway. Tessa immediately rushes over, exclaiming "Bloody convenient!" When she notices Uzi and N holding hands, Tessa teasingly tells Uzi not to "date her robot." Doll then wakes up, places the Keybug on the reader, and sets a trap, releasing sentinels on the group before jumping down the elevator shaft. The red-eyed sentinel shoots at Tessa, but V deflects the bullet. Tessa, N, and Uzi enter the elevator while V fights off the sentinels and cuts the elevator cables, allowing the three to continue on their way. Mass DestructionAfter the previous episode, Tessa, N, and Uzi find themselves in a cave after exiting the elevator. After N has an outburst, Tessa assures him they'll save V afterward and tells Uzi to stay out of this one, asking N to back her up. As N tries to calm Uzi, he reassures Tessa that they won’t hurt her. However, Uzi’s Solver powers activate, causing a tunnel collapse that separates the group. Later, Tessa is seen at the lockers, where she uses her fingerprint to pass the security check and accesses the Cabin Fever database, eventually destroying the locker room. Doll then confronts her about the Crucifix Patch, revealing she needed it to prevent the Solver from influencing her. Tessa taunts Doll, claiming the Solver doesn’t need her, before disappearing into the shadows. A new figure emerges from the darkness, making childlike, distorted screeching noises as it approaches Doll. Doll attempts to use her Solver ability to defend herself, but it fails as the figure is also a Solver host. In desperation, Doll throws a rock toward the figure, but it leaps from the shadows and attacks her. After Uzi watches a video of the Solver controlling Nori and attacking scientists at the Cabin Fever Cathedral, a mortally wounded Doll collapses in front of her, her visor displaying "FIGHT BACK" in Russian. Tessa appears at the entrance, commenting on how busy Uzi has been. As Uzi tries to explain, she realizes Tessa is also a Solver host. Tessa attempts to kill Uzi with a sword, but N intervenes, demanding she reveal the secrets about the patch. When Tessa refuses, N decapitates her with his blade. Later, after N and Nori Doorman battle a Solver-possessed Uzi, a headless Tessa reappears, walks over to reattach her head, and unzips her suit. She then approaches Doll and proceeds to eat her heart, revealing that Tessa was already dead, with her lifeless corpse now merged with Cyn. Cyn attacks N and Uzi, trying to drag them into the pit. Absolute EndAfter Uzi consumes the Solver’s black hole, the Cyn-Tessa hybrid collapses to her knees and begins to disintegrate. As her flesh, oil, and drone parts break down, several of Tessa’s bones—her ribcage, femur, jawbone, and hand bones—remain in front of Uzi. |
Tessa is portrayed as a dark silhouette with white glowing eyes, resembling all humans in the series. She has a slender physique and a relatively tall stature, taller than the Worker Drones but not fully matured. Her hair is black, styled into downward twin tails, each secured with a hair band at the lower end.
Her face is undefined in most depictions, as she appears as a silhouette. However, based on her hybrid form, Tessa had black hair and light skin. Her eye color is undetermined.
Tessa is often depicted in a short, dark dress with half short cap sleeves with ruffled cuffs. She also has a waistband with a bow, heels, and a large tilted black bow behind her hair.
- Tessa's silhouette shows glowing white eyes, typical of all humans in the series. - Her appearance is notably hybridized when her corpse is grafted onto Cyn's Worker Drone body, where her face bears enlarged eye sockets with glowing yellow X symbols. - Three intestine-like tentacles protrude from her back, arranged similarly to the Absolute Solver Translate symbol, aiding her movement. - Tessa's skin is in the early stages of decomposition.
The Solver, disguised as Tessa, wears a tinted astronaut helmet with a rainbow and smiley face sticker on the visor. She also sports a JCJenson-branded cap, a tilted black bow, and a short-sleeved white crop-top jacket over a shiny silver leotard. She wears yellow-tipped white gloves and silver pants with knee-high strapped boots. A golden name tag is visible, and she carries a broadsword attached with silver straps, along with a revolver at her hip.
Tessa shares an appearance with Cyn, with her corpse grafted onto Cyn's Worker Drone body. Her face now includes gaping eye sockets with yellow X-shaped glowing symbols. Her human hands are draped over Cyn's robotic hands, and her skin shows signs of decomposition.
Uzi never trusted Tessa as she questioned what a human was doing on the planet, but had to work with her to find out what was going on with her and more of the truth. Tessa attempts to manipulate N into letting her kill Uzi or having her fully be controlled by the Absolute Solver. When Uzi was separate from N she tried to kill her before N intervened and cut her head off.

Weaknesses
Q: Shouldn't the cast of Murder Drones be around Planetary levels of power due to tanking said destruction?
A: This answer has two layers:
First we'll go under the assumption that this is the case, the cast of Worker Drones have far too many lower feats to suggest this is at all consistent. Worker Drones can be killed by enough ravens pecking them over a long period of time[69] (regardless of how overtime one would like to argue this, it is objectively impossible for ravens to do this to someone with planetary levels of durability), they kept the Disassembly Drones out from their hideout due to the doors in the way[70], where Serial Designation V even noted that she's been trying to get past the doors for month[71], and the Absolute Solvers body was completely destroyed by the rifle's explosion, which required Serial Designation N to shield himself and Uzi[72]. Worker Drones have also been flung away by missile explosions[73], along with receiving light injuries from an explosion across the classroom[74]. N shooting several explosives at a rock formation only destroyed some of it[75], along with being knocked out from a cave in[76], and having his arm stuck under rocks[77], needing to saw his arm off[78]. Uzi gets launched away and nearly knocked out from a spaceship hitting her[79]. Uzi gets stuck under rubble and being unable to escape it[80], needing V's help to get out[81]. Uzi, N, & V all struggle to fight and defeat a building-sized robotic t-rex, with N instead needing to force Cyn to reverse the effects[82]. With all of these anti feats alone, the supposed feat does not at all line of narratively.
Each time a planet is affected in Murder Drones, it is through a black hole, which is an innate warping of space-time, with no one outright destroying said black holes asides from Cyn destroying a minature one[83]. Thus no one actively "tanked" the destruction of Earth, they survived being in proximity of a black hole which ripped apart Earth, which is a feat of resistance rather then durability.
Q: Are NULLS actual black holes?
A: While NULLS don't conventionally follow how black holes operate, this is due to Murder Drones being simply a fictional show, in this case intention matters above scientific accuracy. The Absolute Solver programs grabs and apply the informational data of objects to create and use, essentially hacking and coding reality to create and spawn objects[84], when making data go NULL, it creates a black sphere[85], with it being referenced to as a singularity[86]. At one point when used, it slows down space-time in the area around it[87], and it is shown that the small black holes warp[88] space-time[89]. While there are contradictory effects to black holes in real life, this falls more of a scientific misunderstanding of them then it not being an actual black hole in the context of the verse. The intention is clear that these are meant to be black holes thus they are treated as such.
