Amy Rose is a pink hedgehog with a big heart and an unrelenting yearning for Sonic's affection on her own terms. Though generally good natured, she gets hot-headed when riled, and her weapon of choice, the Piko-Piko Hammer, can always be relied upon to make her feelings clear. She missed Sonic while he was away, but a lot can change over time.
In combat, Amy Rose has the second highest damage power in the game, and medium armor. She is quick enough to attack twice per round, and her special abilities are valuable for weakening enemies and strengthening her teammates.

Notable Techniques
Blow Kiss: Blow Kiss is a POW move used by Amy Rose in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. When performing this move, Amy blows a kiss to an ally, empowering them. When performing Blow Kiss, Amy walks up in front of her team and blows a kiss to anyone on her side of the battlefield in order to encourage them to do their best. When doing so, a line of red lips moves from Amy to her target, who will then show red hearts when the line touches him/her.
Flower Power: Flower Power is a POW move used by Amy Rose, with the aid of Cream the Rabbit and Big the Cat, in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. When performing this move, Amy teams up with Big and Cream to deliver a potent strike with her Piko Piko Hammer. This attack may leave the foe stunned. When performing Flower Power, Big first rushes up in front of the opponent where he falls down on his stomach, face first. Amy then moves up behind Big, while Cream gets behind Amy. As Cream then emits red hearts, Cream pushes Amy forward just as she jumps. Amy then lands on and bounces off Big's back, moving forward and higher into the air, where she then falls down and brings her Piko Piko Hammer down on the opponent in a downward swing. After that, Amy, Cream and Big return to the team positions.
Low Blow: Low Blow is a POW move used by Amy Rose in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. When performing this move, Amy jumps up and hits a foe with her Piko Piko Hammer. This attack may leave the foe vulnerable. When performing Low Blow, Amy moves up in front of the opponent and jumps into the air. As she falls down, Amy brings her Piko Piko Hammer down on the opponent in a downward swing, trying to hit the opponent at his/hers weakest point. After hitting the opponent, Amy then retreats to her team position.
Spin Cycle: Spin Cycle is a POW move used by Amy Rose, with the aid of Cream the Rabbit, in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. When performing this move, Amy has Cream lift her up, then spins her around before throwing her at a group of enemies. This attack cannot be avoided and can hit multiple enemies. When performing Spin Cycle, Amy and Cream move up in front of their opponent. Cream then flies directly up into the air in front of Amy until she reaches an appropriate height, before Amy jumps up and grab onto Cream's hands. Cream then begins to spin Amy around in mid-air, while Amy holds out her Piko Piko Hammer, before she throws Amy spinning into the opponent, where Amy strikes the opponent with her Piko Piko Hammer. Following that, Amy and Cream return to their team positions.
Tantrum: Tantrum is a POW move used by Amy Rose in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. When performing this move, Amy charges at an enemy, spinning like a tornado. This attack may leave the foe sluggish. When performing Tantrum, Amy walks up in front of her opponent, where she then starts to spin around herself with her Piko Piko Hammer at high speed, stirring up some pink wind currents, before she rams into the opponent, dealing a series of concussive hammer strikes. After that, Amy returns to her team position.
Tarot Draw: Tarot Draw is a POW move used by Amy Rose in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. When performing this move, Amy foresees the future with her tarot deck, cursing a single foe. When performing Tarot Draw, Amy walks up in front of her opponent, where she then pulls out a card from her tarot deck in front of her and uses it to predict the future. After that, Amy returns to her team position.
Other
Standard Tactics: She normally will use homing attacks and Piko Piko hammer. Along with her POW attacks.
Weaknesses: Is extremely obsessed with Sonic to the point that she’ll drop everything just to see him.
Note
In Sonic Chronicles, "attack" and "defense" are not how powerful and durable one is, but rather, how much accuracy the user has and the level of their evasion.
It should also be noted, Eastern media uses speed of light a lot as a method for saying "very fast" rather then literally being the speed of light. It boils down to even doujins using it as a way to claim certain things and one getting home fast.
Secondly, Omega's statement in context is talking about Sonic's immense growth and how he keeps getting faster and faster each time he's doing the challenge, where if he keeps it up then light speed will eventually be surpassed due to breaking unprecedented growths.
SPD from Unleashed
Many try to use the SPD due to the boost SPD being rated higher then the light speed dash, however the SPD isn't programmed in a lineal way. Along with this it's clear by the context of the game that it's just apart of Ludonarrative Dissonance to get players excited by seeing how high of a value they're going. For note, the light speed dash's SPD isn't even consistent which already poses a problem since light speed is a static number, it doesn't get faster or slower.
Other Speed Issues
There are a couple of plot points in various Sonic games that greatly mess with the idea that Sonic is light speed or even faster than light.
↑Sonic Adventure - 1998 Developer Interview "—The maps and terrain in Sonic Adventure are surely huge, but this being Sonic, there's got to be a lot of sections where he zooms through everything at light speed, right? Hoshino: Yeah, you could say that's part of the dynamism of Sonic. (laughs) That exhiliration of blazing through this huge area in one instant, that's what Sonic is all about! (laughs) Naka: Yes, exactly. (laughs) No matter how much blood, sweat, and tears the designers put into the details of the maps, there's no knowing whether it will even register as anything more than a blur as the player zooms through the levels. (laughs) We had to remake a lot of them this time. As our first Dreamcast title, at first there was a lot of crazy talk about making truly humongous levels (laughs), but the development was more tentative than that, with a lot of groping in the dark as we learned what the actual capabilities of the hardware were. Along the way it turned out that many of the stages we'd made wouldn't work, and they had to be tossed. It wasn't until we were making the Lost World stage that we finally started to get a handle on everything and see, OK, this is the standard. That meant we had to go back and remake all the stages we had done up to then though, to be in line with this new understanding. And we re-worked quite a few of them."
