Latest revision as of 02:15, 8 August 2022
All previous powers, Planeswalker Physiology (Current, Grixis), Immortality (Types 1, 3, 7, and 8: Ugin states that Bolas would be killed, he would become a spirit just like him and Bolas states that he can get other bodies to possess), Mind Manipulation (Able to shatter minds through mere thought or via contact), Death Manipulation (Capable of bringing death in just a touch), Power Modification and Statistics Reduction (Capable of making creatures losing all of their powers and becoming weak. Capable of removing indestructability), Power Nullification (Through various counterspells, stated to be able to crush magic. His mere presence makes it difficult to manipulate earth), Information Analysis (Via Deep Analysis), Null Existence (Type 3: Ugin implied that if Bolas were to be killed, he would revive similar to how he did in the mending and become a spirit like him), Madness Manipulation (Via Tormenting Voice. Turned Sarkhan mad), Curtain Fire and Fire Manipulation (Able to summon a massive amount of hailfire, which seems to explode on impact), Energy Projection (Able to use dark energy), Blood Manipulation (Via Blood Reckoning), Fear Manipulation (Via Cower in Fear), Durability Negation (Negated Gideon's indestructability), Magma Manipulation (Via Magmaquake), Plant Manipulation (Used plants to attack Nissa), Soul Manipulation, Life Manipulation, and Death Manipulation (Can manipulate souls, and reverse life and death), Necromancy (Can use necromancy), Morality Manipulation and Empathic Manipulation (His mere touch can manipulate thought and emotions), Clairvoyance (With his orb), Avatar Creation (Able to create small imps that are copies of himself), Telepathy (Stated to be able to use telepathy), Resistance Manipulation (Effortlessly destroyed Jace's mental defenses), Illusion Creation (Created a green illusion of Sarkhan), Resurrection (Revived Tezzeret), Portal Creation (His imps can create portals), Spell Redirection (Able to change the targets of spells), Nothingness Manipulation (Able to summon immense amounts of mana that reduces whatever it comes in contact with into nothingness), Mana Absorption (Can cast Mana Drain, which counters a spell and absorbs its mana for the caster's own), Electricity Manipulation (Able to summon black lightning), Statistics Amplification and Power Bestowal (The Elderspell empowers all of the Dreadhorde, allowing them to harvest sparks), Nothingness Absorption (Able to absorb the sparks of other planeswalkers, which are described to be parts of the Blind Eternities and ineffable), Reality Separation (Type 4: Able to seperate himself from reality, making him untouchable by the gods of Amonkhet, who embody the plane's leylines of mana), Creation and Perception Manipulation (Created a monument that is visable across the entire plane), Deconstruction (Able to dissolve objects by merely looking at them), Law Manipulation (His powers were able to defy the very laws of nature itself), Corruption, Existence Erasure (Type 2, likely Type 4), Memory Manipulation and Conceptual Manipulation (Directly erased anyone old enough to walk that weren't himself or the gods, destroying their souls in the process. Manipulated the leylines of Amonkhet to corrupt three gods, causing them to lose all memory, tying their existence to himself, and erasing all else), Vector Manipulation (Stopped a spear and made it lose all force in an instant), Curse Manipulation (Cursed the sphinxes of Amonkhet from communicating verbally, nonverbally/telepathically, or any other sort of fasion), Existence Grounding (Superior to Nissa who binded and anchored Ulamog's and Kozilek's true forms), Telekinesis (Can move the sun)
Due to training others with these powers, or being superior to others in terms of a specific power, he should have the following: Selective Invulnerability and Power Nullification (Angels from Amonkhet, Aven Mindcensors), Precognition (Augurs of Bolas), Mind and Information Absorption (Disciples of Bolas), Healing (God-Pharaoh's Faithful), Thought Nullification (Aven Mindcensors), Mind Reading and Power Mimicry (Mindclaw Shamans),
All previous powers to a greater extent, Planeswalker Physiology (Prime, Grixis), Nonexistent Physiology (Type 3: Exists as a "ghost" that shouldn't conceptually exists due to being unaffected by Tetsuo Umezawa destroying Bolas's essence), Immortality (Types 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9: All Pre-Mending Planeswalkers are Immortal. Even after being erased, he can exist as a "ghost" that exists outside the multiverse and can possess a different body from another point in time from the infinite time streams that exists to reincarnate as. Fought and eventually overpowered Leshrac even after he disposed several of his limbs by stabbing him with the skeleton of his tail), Subjective Reality (As he desires, so shall it be), Life Manipulation, Essence Manipulation, and Conceptual Manipulation (Can split one's life essence and very being into two), Attack Reflection and Forcefield Creation (Has a protective web around him that repels attacks and redirect them at the summoner) , Space-Time Manipulation and Sheer Will (Able to break through time and space with his willpower alone), Dimension Manipulation (Able to turn Teferi 2-Dimensional), Deconstruction and Power Nullification (Can cast spells that disrupt thinking and deconstruct the body), Teleportation (Shown here), Ice Manipulation, Weather Manipulation, Air Manipulation, Cold Manipulation, and Transmutation (Able to create large gusts of wind and turn each pebble and grain of sand into an icy projectile), Body Control and Spike Manipulation (Able to use his scales as projectiles), Power Mimicry (Able to replicate a spell he used a few seconds ago), Afterimage Creation (Able to create afterimages of himself)
Standard Equipment
-
Angels of the God-Pharoah
-
Augurs of Bolas
-
Disciples of Bolas
-
God-Pharoah's Faithul
-
Aven Mindcensors
-
Mindclaw Shamans
- The Angels of Amonkhet: All the angels of Amonkhet are loyal to Bolas. They can be Indestructable, and remove powers from creatures
- Augurs of Bolas: Merfolk Wizards that worship Bolas. Judging by the definition of "augur" ((of an event or circumstance) portend a good or bad outcome), their ability of being able to retrieve instant and sorcery off the top of the library, and the their quote, there is no future save for the one my master wills, they likely have Precognition
- Disciples of Bolas: Humans who worship Bolas. Judging by their ability to draw cards and gain life by sacrificing a creature, and their quote, Lord Bolas has shown me how each miserable little life holds untold resources, they can likely absorb minds and information
- God-Pharoah's Faithful: Human disciples of Bolas who declare his return, and restore a little bit of life when their owner (Nicol Bolas) casts a blue, black, or red spell. More or less dead weight and fodder.
- Aven Mindcensors: Avens (Bird people) who can literally censor thoughts that could pose a threat to Bolas. They can also fly
- Mindclaw Shamans: Viashino (Lizard people) who are stated to be given power by Bolas because they would abuse it the most. They have the ability to read an opponents mind, and cast one of their spells without paying the mana cost.
Gem of Becoming
The Immortal Sun
Planar Bridge
Interplanar Beacon
Bolas's Citadel
Gate to the Afterlife
God-Pharoah's Gift
God-Pharoah's Statue
Throne of the God-Pharoah

Visage of Bolas
- Gem of Becoming: The Gem that levitatates between Bolas's horns. It is revealed that it contains the entire meditation realm within it.
- The Immortal Sun: The Immortal Sun is an legendary artifact from Ixalan, initially used to try to trap Bolas. It can prevent planeswalkers from planeswalking away from the plane the Immortal Sun is on.
- Planar Bridge: An artifact designed that allows inorganic material to travel to other planes. Any organic matter will be annihilated if it enters. The Bridge can absorb attacks and BFR them to different universes, as well as warp the Blind Eternities, creating new or warping chaotic life.
- Interplanar Beacon: A beacon planted in Ravnica, used to lure planeswalkers to the plane when it goes off
- Bolas's Citadel: A massive citadel Bolas sits upon. Presumably where he keeps all his harvested sparks.
- Gate to the Afterlife and God-Pharaoh's Gift: When the worthy warriors of Amonkhet die by Hazoret's spear, they will be carried through the Gate to the Afterlife. There, they shall be covered in Lazotep, and become Eternals, a fierce undead warrior that serves Bolas
- God-Pharaoh's Statue: A massive statue that Bolas shaped after himself. The statue serves no purpose but to enrage his enemies.
- Throne of the God-Pharaoh: A throne that Bolas sits upon. Its purpose is purely unknown.
- Crook of Condemnation: An object used to remove powers from others
- Visage of Bolas: A inscription of Bolas. Its purpose is unknown.
- Mask of Night's Reach: An artifact made by the Myojin of Night's Reach, in possession of Bolas prior to the mending. It allows the user to steal black-based powers
Notable Techniques

- +3: Destroy target noncreature permanent.
- +3: Each opponent loses 3 life unless that player sacrifices a nonland permanent or discards a card.

Commence the Endgame
Tyrant's Scorn
Countersquall
Cower in Fear
Imp's Mischief
Mana Drain
Soul Manipulation
- Commence the Endgame: A spell that can't be countered, draws you two cards and creates a zombie army equal to the number of cards in your hand. This is likely Bolas inevitably laying waste on Ravnica with his Dreadhorde army.
- Tyrant's Scorn: A spell with two options: Return target creature to its owner's hand, or destroy target creature with mana value 3 or less. This is where Bolas resists and destroys the Blackblade, a weapon literally designed to kill him.
- Countersquall: Counters a spell and makes the controller lose 2 life.
- Cower in Fear: Creatures opponents control get -1/-1 until end of turn. This is a spell that makes opponents weaker and more terrified of Bolas.
- Imp's Mischief: With the cost of some life, this spell allows Bolas to change the target of a spell.
- Mana Drain: Counters a spell, absorbs the mana used to cast it for Bolas to use to use as his own
- Soul Manipulation: As the name implies, Bolas can manipulate the souls of others, and can bring others to life or kill them, stating that both life and death are both easily reversible
