Background
Splash Woman is a Robot created by Dr. Light to rescue swimmers and ships that became stranded at Sea. She is modeled after a mermaid and has a beautiful voice she uses to perform Karaoke. Despite loving Karaoke, she dislikes large audiences so she has turned down many invitations to the world of show business. She appears in Mega Man 9 and is one of the eight Robot Masters whose period of use had expired and was scheduled to be scrapped. Dr. Wily pretended to be concerned and offered to repair them so they aren't scrapped but in reality he just reprogrammed them to help him take over the world. Her trademark weapon is the Laser Trident which fires a powerful laser that can penetrate through many tough objects. After being defeated by Mega Man, Dr. Light then repaired her so she can continue doing the work she loves.

- Laser Trident: Laser Trident is Splash Woman's Special Weapon from Mega Man 9. It shoots out trident head-like lasers that deal two points of damage, similar to how Wave Man shoots harpoons, but faster. Up to three tridents can be shot in quick succession. The trident pierces enemy shields like those of the Shield Attacker RX, Machine Gun Joe and Metall β. It also destroys block barriers that often protect items or branching paths and objects "frozen" by Concrete Man's Concrete Shot, such as magma barriers. Since it is stronger than the standard Mega Buster, it can also be used as a primary weapon for dealing with most enemies because of its low weapon energy cost.

Standard Tactics: Splash Woman sings to summon several fish robots, tackles with her trident, and uses her Special Weapon Laser Trident.
Weaknesses: Has a weakness to Hornet Man's Hornet Chaser. Has poor mobility on land. If her data is corrupted, she will be incapable of coming back.
Trivia
- In the main Mega Man games, Splash Woman is the only Robot Master boss that is female.
- Roll is the first female Robot Master, but she is not the boss. If not limited to the main games, there is Coin Woman.
- During development, Hornet Man was set to be the female Robot Master to be fought, named Honey Woman, while Splash Woman was designed as a male Robot Master named Ocean Man (オーシャンマン Ōshanman).
- Her interest in karaoke may be based off old stories that tell of sirens (often depicted in folklore as mermaid-like creatures) singing so beautifully that young men would be lured to their doom.
- She shares this interest with Guts Man.
- Her Laser Trident is the Special Weapon that deals the most damage to Mega Man in Mega Man 9.
- Splash Woman is the only boss in Mega Man 9 that takes two bars of damage from the Mega Buster. Every other Robot Master in the game takes one. However, she does make up for this by remaining out of its range for most of the fight.
- Splash Woman is one of two Robot Masters to have an attack that involves other enemies, Hornet Man being the other. Some fortress bosses, including Big Pets from Mega Man 5, also produce additional enemies to help them fight.
- Splash Woman is the fourth Robot Master to be based on a mythical creature (mermaid). The others include Centaur Man (centaur), Tengu Man (tengu), and Shade Man (vampire).
- She is therefore one of the few Robot Masters to not have humanoid legs. However, Ocean Man did have humanoid legs, taking some of his design from Neptune.
