'''Pre Gwain-Saga'''<br> | |||
As a child, Ami was stricken with a mysterious and incurable illness that threatened her life. In an attempt to save her, Gwain urgently pleaded with Luna, who agreed to help under the condition that she be exempt from the law. To keep Ami alive, Luna created an early version of the EXE Arc. This prototype could only heal 0.5 health at half the speed of the current model, but it was essential for sustaining her life. Luna also performed regular medical checkups to monitor her condition. During these checkups, she noted that Ami’s eyes were much larger than those of other Teorans, though the significance of this detail remains unknown. During this challenging period, Gwain entrusted the responsibility of Ami's care to Vania, making them her official guardian. | |||
Despite her illness, Ami attended a school similar to other children her age. During her time there, she formed close friendships with Lanney, Deva, and Agni. Based on Agni’s explanation of the social hierarchy at their school, it’s clear that Ami was likely considered an outsider or lower on the social scale due to her prolonged illness, which had affected her for years before her time at school. | |||
Ami | |||
In her teenage years, Ami was granted some independence by being allowed to search for magic crystals in the forest on her own. However, she was still restricted from interacting with society at large, with her only social connections being limited to Gwain College. It was during one of these solitary trips into the forest that Ami first encountered Geo, marking the beginning of an important relationship in her life. | |||
'''Gwain Saga - 001'''<Br> | |||
While wandering through the forest, Ami is startled when Geo suddenly falls from the sky, landing in a tangle of vines. Upon seeing his smiling, drooling face, she screams in surprise, causing a flock of birds to fly away. However, after a moment of shock, Ami regains her composure and helps Geo down. Quickly realizing that Geo isn't from Teora, she decides to show him the beauty of her world. The two embark on a long journey through the forest, and eventually, Ami spots a magic crystal. As she rushes to grab it, she accidentally steps on the tail of a Forest Wolf, enraging the creature. Geo tries to defend Ami but is swiftly knocked out by a single blast from the wolf, and Ami is captured by the pack. | |||
When Geo awakens, he finds Ami asleep in the wolves' cave and places her headband on her. As the wolves notice Geo, a chase ensues, with Ami still unconscious. Geo takes blows to protect her, but just as one wolf is about to strike a final blow, Ami wakes up and shoots an arrow that stuns the wolf. This gives Geo the chance to defeat all three wolves using the EXE-Blade. Afterward, the two make their way toward Gwain's castle. | |||
'''Gwain Saga - 002'''<Br> | |||
Ami sneaks Geo into her room, signaling him to stay low and be quiet. However, as she tries to sneak out, she spots Gwain right outside the door. Quickly closing the door, she hides Geo, and the two remain silent while Gwain waits patiently outside. After a moment, Gwain enters and mentions that the entire castle had been searching for Ami, so she came to check on her. She also brings up Geo, who had poorly disguised himself as a lamp. Gwain urges Ami to tell the truth and then performs an Insight check to confirm her sincerity. | |||
The following day, Ami takes a shower and gets dressed before waking Geo up. She hands him a Gwain College jacket and takes his old coat from him, only to fall to the ground due to its weight. Together, Ami and Geo head to the Great Hall for breakfast, but things take a turn when Gwain suddenly attacks Geo while Ami is eating. Gwain commands the guards to escort Ami to her chambers for her safety. Later, Ami arrives just in time to shield Geo from an execution beam fired by Gwain. Gwain questions how she always manages to bypass the castle's security, only for the guards to reveal that Ami had put them to sleep with arrows from her bow. Gwain demands that Ami step aside so she can eliminate Geo, calling him a human. Ami, however, refuses to let Geo die and persuades Gwain to spare him. | |||
Ami | Three days later, when Geo regains consciousness, both Ami and Gwain are present. Gwain explains that Geo will now serve as Ami’s bodyguard. She gives Ami permission to leave the castle and visit the market but warns her to avoid drawing attention. In the next scene, Geo and Ami are seen wearing cloaks, with Ami also donning a mask. They attempt to sneak out, but are soon found by Lanney. Lanney asks how Ami was allowed to leave the castle, and Ami reveals Geo to her. Lanney then informs Ami of mysterious attacks happening nearby. Just then, Luna arrives on a motorcycle wearing a mask. She dismounts and, without warning, transforms her arm gauntlet into a projectile weapon aimed at Ami. Ami covers her ears as Geo steps forward to protect her, but when Geo collapses, Ami’s smile fades. Luna lands in front of them, and the three engage in a tense staredown. A group of attackers approaches Luna, but are frightened away by a robot she summoned. As Luna is distracted, Ami attempts to shoot her with her EXE-Arc, but Luna expertly blocks all the arrows and approaches Ami and Lanney. Geo grabs onto Luna’s leg to try and hold her back, but Luna aims her arm cannon at him. In a quick reaction, Ami throws a bag of flour into the air, shooting it so that it bursts, filling the air with flour and blinding Luna. Ami cheers, believing Luna has been knocked out, only to realize that it’s actually Geo who has been sent flying by the cloud of flour. The next scene shows Ami and Lanney crouching as they watch Geo knock both Luna and her robot through the ground. | ||
After the fight, Ami and Lanney are startled by the explosion caused by the destruction of the robot. Ami, frightened, runs forward, only for the robot's arm to appear in front of her. Her fear quickly fades when she realizes it’s just Geo climbing out of the hole. In the final scene, Ami and Geo bid Lanney farewell and watch the sunset, while Gwain watches from above, observing them. | |||
'''Gwain Saga - 003'''<br> | |||
Ami is | In the Prologue, Ami is seen in a flashback with Deva, who is giving her guitar lessons. During their session, a boy mocks them, yelling that they wanted to be rockstars. In response, Deva, with a smirk, says that she’ll play music by kicking his ass, and proceeds to encase him in ice before kicking him away. Deva then makes Ami promise that if she ever starts liking a boy, Ami should hit her with anything she can find within reach. | ||
The episode opens with Geo waking up to find Ami watching over him. In the next scene, Ami eats cereal while Geo struggles to fully wake up. Ami watches as Gwain trains Geo, but when Gwain turns to her, he asks if she really believes Geo could be her ticket to independence. Gwain then informs Ami that Geo can no longer stay in the castle and must be hidden from everyone, as Ami notices the clocktower in the distance. The scene transitions to Ami climbing down the ladder leading to the clocktower, with Gwain floating down behind her, grumbling about how Geo could bring about their doom. He then tells Ami that his first test will be when he walks her to school. | |||
On their way to school, Ami and Geo run into Deva and Lanney, and Ami begins talking to Lanney. When Agni dashes in and starts talking to Geo, Ami, like everyone else, is left confused. The group then encounters the principal of Gwain College, who instructs Ami to lower the ears on her headband. He orders them to get to class so they won't be late. Inside the classroom, Deva begins questioning Ami about Geo, humorously accusing them of having already kissed. Ami quickly denies this claim. When Luna, disguised as a teacher, introduces an exercise for the class, both Ami and Deva are confused about how to approach it. Ami and the rest of the class (except Mizu) end up running out of the classroom when Luna informs them that they are free to do whatever they like. | |||
Ami | |||
Later, Ami is seen with Lanney when one of Luna's "dodge-bots" slides next to them. She is again seen with Agni, Deva, and Lanney when Deva turns a regular dodgeball into a snowball and throws it at Luna’s head. Ami is then seen aiming her EXE-Arc at Luna after Geo is blasted away by a pseudo-laser Luna fired. Ami quickly shoots a healing arrow into Geo, helping him get back on his feet. She watches alongside the group as Luna rides away in her truck. Later, Ami cheers for Geo after his training session with Gwain, alongside Deva, Agni, and Lanney. She notices Deva whistling for Geo and, recalling the promise she made to Deva to hit her if she ever liked a boy, Ami strikes Deva with whatever she has in her hand. At the end of the episode, Ami sees Luna talking to Gwain inside the castle, which leaves her curious about their conversation. | |||
'''Gwain Saga - 004'''<br> | |||
At the beginning of the episode, Ami is seen playing basketball with Geo. Later on, it’s revealed that Ami supposedly paid for Geo's house and furniture, but it turns out that the costs were actually placed on Gwain's tab. While Deva is goofing off with Agni, Ami notices a strange green figure lurking and spying on them. This mysterious figure turns out to be Marlow, who continues to spy on Geo in particular as the group goes about their various activities. After some time, Ami spots Marlow hiding in a tree and promptly stuns her with an arrow. They bring Marlow in for questioning, and she vaguely alludes to a "secret" involving Geo. Ami is visibly shocked at this suggestion, as she had assumed that Marlow already knew that Geo was human. | |||
Marlow, in response to Agni's aggression, knocks him away and gestures for Geo to follow her. Ami is deeply troubled by the situation, growing even more upset when Lanney asks her if she knows what’s happening. | |||
As Geo and Marlow clash, Deva verbally confronts Ami, recognizing from her expression that Ami knows something the rest of them don't. It turns out that this "very important" secret is that Geo is human, a fact known to only a select few. | |||
After Gwain intervenes to prevent Geo and Marlow from coming to harm, Ami tries to explain what happened. However, Gwain tells her to stop. Ami is the only one not left in shock by Marlow’s conclusion that Geo is a vampire, as she knows that Marlow is mistaken and that Geo is in fact human. Despite Marlow’s error, Gwain decides that Geo must be executed because his abnormalities have been discovered. Ami and the others beg Gwain to reconsider, but Gwain insists that the decision is for the sake of the future of her kingdom. Just when it seems like Geo’s execution is imminent, Marlow intervenes once again, stopping the execution and leaving Ami and the group both confused and relieved. | |||
Ami | The episode ends with Ami watching Agni hold a pepper out of Deva’s reach, seemingly amused by the scene. | ||
Ami is seen | '''Gwain Saga - 005'''<br> | ||
In the opening of Episode 5, Ami is seen trying to explain to Deva, Marlow, Lanney, and Agni that they must keep Geo's identity a secret, particularly the fact that he's a "vampire." Deva questions Ami about why it’s important not to remove Geo's visor, to which Marlow sarcastically suggests it’s to prevent Geo from hypnotizing them. Ami confirms this, much to Deva’s amusement. Deva, unfazed by the idea of being hypnotized, teases Ami, asking why she cares so much. She imagines Geo biting her neck, saying she wouldn’t mind if he tried. Marlow, sharing similar thoughts, and Agni ask if girls really enjoy being bitten on the neck, with Marlow commenting that it looks romantic. Agni, misinterpreting this, attempts to get closer to Lanney’s neck, leaving her stunned and unable to move until Marlow and Deva step in to stop him. Meanwhile, Ami looks over at Geo, noticing that he’s unconscious after being beaten by Gwain. | |||
Later, Ami is seen riding a bicycle with Lanney, while Agni and Deva argue in the background. When they reach their destination, the group begins searching for crystals. Lanney remarks on how relaxing it is, and how impressive it is that Ami does this on her own so often, to which Ami agrees. When Agni uses fire to break a large crystal into smaller pieces, Ami uses one of the crystals to restore his magic. The group runs when a phoenix appears, and Marlow quickly catches up, complaining about being used as bait. Marlow then recalls that the phoenix chasing them couldn’t spit fire, but despite her attempt to act friendly, the entire group ends up covered in soot. | |||
At school, Ami watches Deva and Marlow argue over the soot-covered aftermath. During Deva’s explanation of "the school lunch food chain," Ami finds herself at the bottom, with Lanney, Agni, Deva, and Geo seated just above her. Agni clarifies that Ami is labeled as the "girl with the weird sickness that many think is contagious." When Electra bursts into the cafeteria, Ami is seen looking intimidated. Only Ami and Marlow are invited to Electra’s birthday party. Ami is overjoyed by the invitation, but her excitement fades when Deva reminds her that Gwain will not allow her to attend. Marlow, not wanting to go, passes her invitation to Geo, which upsets Electra. However, Marlow threatens to tell the council about the unauthorized invitations, causing Electra to leave. Deva reminds Ami that she can take a plus one, but without permission from Gwain, she can’t attend. Lanney suggests Ami should explain how important the party is, believing Gwain might let her go if she does. | |||
In the next scene, Ami and the others (excluding Marlow) are in Gwain’s throne room, where Gwain refuses to let Ami go to the party. Gwain insists she won’t let Ami go alone, nor will she allow her to go with Geo. Deva argues that Ami can defend herself, but Gwain demands to see any moves she knows. Deva insists Ami knows plenty of moves and encourages her to demonstrate. Agni turns on a set of speakers, and Ami begins dancing, but is abruptly interrupted by Gwain. However, after pushing the group aside to speak privately with Twain, Ami convinces Gwain to let her go. Gwain later uses the excuse that Geo and Ami are attending a party to explain their absence to Twain. Afterward, Deva tells Ami to change into her best outfit, while Marlow jabs Agni in the eyes and Geo looks away. | |||
When Geo and Ami arrive at Electra’s party, they are immediately noticed by the other guests. Electra warns them not to cause a scene and reminds them that guns are not allowed. Ami is later seen approaching a guest at the party who is pouring something into the punch. Upon noticing Ami, he quickly drops the flask and hands her his glass of punch before walking away. Ami takes a sip, then goes to refill her drink, unaware that the punch has been "enhanced." Soon after, Ami is seen with the "drunk" status effect. Later, Ami is once again face down on a table, now with the "drunk" status effect times three, as she pulls the punch bowl away from another party guest who tries to take some. Ami disappears from the scene until she interrupts Luna's taunting of Geo and the chief of security, now with the "drunk" status effect times five. She attempts to fire an arrow at Luna but collapses shortly after. Luna dodges the arrow with ease, and it ricochets off a robot squid’s tentacles before flying over Electra and striking a disguised Deva, causing him to fall asleep. Ami is then carried out of the party by Geo, who hoists her over his shoulder. | |||
On the way back to the castle, Ami reflects on their earlier conversation about keeping Geo’s identity a secret. In a drunken stupor, she bites Geo’s neck and later licks it, seemingly unaware of her actions. | |||
Ami | '''Gwain Saga - 006'''<br> | ||
Ami and Deva are first seen together in the watchtower, both wearing tired expressions. When Agni asks why they look so down, Deva explains that she had to study water movements, while Ami had been tasked with writing a lengthy 100-page essay about a landmark to the west of Gwain. Ami then receives a call from Gwain, instructing her to come to the castle after class and bring Geo along. | |||
While waiting for Geo at the castle, Agni asks Ami if she still dreams of becoming a supermodel. Ami strikes a pose, and Deva remarks that there's no way Ami would give up on that idea. When Geo arrives, the group sets off to retrieve a package for him. On their way, Eolo attacks Ami as a test to see if Geo would step in to protect her, but hands over the package afterward. Upon noticing that the Omega Suit Geo had been given bears Twain's symbol, Ami and Deva quickly push him aside as Gwain becomes enraged. | |||
Later, Ami is seen tossing Noobe into a bathtub before cooking something. She then appears in her disguise outfit from Episode 2, encountering Savien. Savien tricks her into thinking he has good intentions and uses his hypnosis spell on her. After Savien and Geo’s fight ends, Ami is seen fanning herself with a manilla folder, likely the same one Geo had in Episode 1, and removing her cloak. She reappears with Deva after Savien is attacked by her. Savien tries to convince Ami that Deva and Geo were lying about his manipulation, but he stops when Deva reveals that Ami is immune to condition spells, including hypnosis. | |||
Ami becomes downcast when Geo runs off to pursue Luna, so she decides to follow him. Deva and Savien doubt her ability to catch up, but Ami grows magical wings on her head and manages to run fast enough to leap onto the moving train. During a chaotic stampede prompted by Luna’s gunshot ordering everyone to the last coach, Ami is trampled. However, after running through the train’s clothing area, she emerges wearing a more stylish version of her disguise coat. As Luna and Geo converse at the front of the train, Ami peeks out from behind and waves, confusing both of them. | |||
When Luna is shot off the train by Savien, Ami looks at Geo with a fearful expression. She watches in horror as Geo is almost run over by the train. After jumping from the train and growing magic wings on her head again, Ami falls, and Geo fails to catch her. Savien eventually catches her and brings her back to the railroad track. Ami, overcome with emotion, cries and hugs Geo. In the final scene of the episode, Ami and Geo are shown sleeping on a couch in the clock tower, holding hands. | |||
Ami | '''Gwain Saga - 007'''<br> | ||
Ami's first appearance in Episode 7, outside of the intro, occurs when she stares through the glass of Lanney's bakery, observing Lanney and Geo in an embrace. As Lanney pulls away from Geo, Ami walks into the bakery. Lanney jokingly tells Ami that she would never hug Ami's boyfriend, prompting a defensive reaction from Ami. Lanney then drops the bombshell that she hasn't told anyone about Ami and Geo sleeping together, which deeply confuses and shocks Ami. A flashback from Lanney’s perspective follows, where she mistakenly walks in on Ami lying on top of Geo, misinterpreting the situation. When Geo asks about the conversation, Ami shoots multiple arrows at him, causing him to collapse. Lanney comments on how fortunate it was that they were fully clothed, and Ami hisses at her. After Lanney apologizes, Ami hugs her, and Geo walks out of the bakery. | |||
Later, in another flashback from Agni's perspective, Ami is eating the Teoran version of Oreos while Savien teases Agni and Geo. She manages to scare all three of them when she makes an Oreo disappear by touching it, causing the boys to flee. She then reveals she had merely pulled the Oreo out of her sleeve. Following that, Ami is seen with Marlow, Lanney, Deva, and Agni as Agni places Gwain Warrior stickers on everyone. Ami, Deva, and Agni then leave to attend the ceremony. | |||
At the ceremony, when Luna arrives, Ami casts a disappointed look at Gwain, who avoids her gaze. Ami and Gwain both witness as Marlow kicks Luna off the floating platform. Later, when Gwain gives an excuse for the unexpected battles that arise during the ceremony, Ami looks at her with a questioning expression. | |||
In a significant scene at the ruins of the statue unveiling, Gwain confesses that she can't act against Luna for reasons she can't reveal, as it involves her life. Undeterred, Ami uses her Mind Read ability on Gwain, but this results in a conflict with Gwain's true form, who resists the mind-reading attempt. Although Gwain holds the advantage in many ways, Ami employs the "Automatic Breath Deactivated" trick she had seen Savien use during Agni's flashback. This confuses Gwain long enough for Ami to use Megrim, which successfully allows her to read Gwain's mind. | |||
Through this, Ami learns that Gwain turned to Luna when Ami fell ill because Luna was the only one who could help her. In exchange for Ami’s health, Luna likely requested that Gwain and her Royal Court refrain from interfering with her plans. A flashback shows a young Ami with a prototype version of her EXE-Arc, while Luna holds a clipboard noting the abnormal size of Ami’s eyes. Gwain’s true form then tells Ami that she now knows the truth—why Gwain never took action against Luna. Gwain confesses that it was a difficult decision, but she was too scared to go against Luna. The screen fades to white. | |||
Ami is seen one last time in the episode from Lanney’s perspective, as she reads Gwain’s mind. Lanney observes Ami, who is surrounded by a rapidly cooling aura, staring at Gwain. Lanney comments that this scene is typical for Ami, lasting for hours. The episode concludes with a flashback montage from Lanney, showing times when Ami used her element without anyone knowing, with three of the four scenes featuring Ami. | |||
'''Gwain Saga - 008'''<br> | |||
Ami wakes up from a dream, which seems to have been the opening scene of the episode. Enamored with Geo, she can't stop thinking about him, leading her to scream in frustration before continuing with her usual morning routine. | |||
When Ami arrives at the Clock Tower, she finds herself and Savien finalizing plans for their upcoming trip to the South Coast of Gwain. Meanwhile, Marlow plays a parody of Animal Crossing, and a bat woman from 007 is tied up. Geo soon arrives, and Ami becomes distracted by him once more. His smile causes her to skip a beat and regenerate a massive amount of health. Lanney, speaking to Geo, interrupts her trance, and Ami spends the rest of the time trying to push thoughts of Geo out of her mind. | |||
Ami | |||
Later, Ami accompanies the Gwain Warriors to the Magic Street Market, where they meet Agni and Deva. Following Agni's order, she syncs her watch with her phone. While walking with Geo, she reaches for his hand but accidentally grabs Lanney’s instead, prompting a nervous laugh from Ami. Lanney remarks that they haven't shopped together in a while, but Ami sighs in response. The group purchases special swimwear, each with unique properties, before heading to the Coast. | |||
At the Coast, Ami and Geo argue about her tagging along on his quest, which leads to an arm-wrestling match. While Geo hesitates, Ami wins by draining his health, aided by the group's distracting glares at Geo. Deva then explains the origin of Bride's Island's name, after which Ami heals Geo. The group is then launched into Bride's Island by Deva's powers. | |||
Once on the island, Ami and Geo swim down a hole, with Geo leading. However, Ami ends up falling into his arms, causing them both to blush. As Geo walks away, Ami’s internal conflict plays out through her Pirate and Nun personas, who argue about her relationship with him. The Groom briefly grabs her hand, causing Ami to faint. While she's unconscious, the Bride attacks, but Ami’s pirate and nun selves intervene to wake her up. The Bride uses telekinetic powers to lift Ami but is soon freed. Ami runs away but is confronted by a possessed Geo, leading to a battle. She forces the Bride to release him, then chases the Bride across the island. | |||
Ami eventually breaks Geo free from the Bride’s control, and they both fall into the water. When the Bride summons a phantom ship to attack, Ami struggles to lift it until Geo regains consciousness and helps her. Exhausted, Ami collapses, and the Bride and Groom collide, knocking Ami and Geo away. The couple reunites, and Geo gives Ami a healing braid. The Bride teasingly looks at Geo, making him blush, while Ami gives him a smug grin. As the Bride and Groom vanish together, Ami and Geo share a quiet moment. | |||
In the final scene, Ami is carried by Geo, much like in previous episodes. Deva notices that Ami’s hair has turned partially white from the strain of using magic and checks to ensure she’s okay. Ami sits down and is given a drink by Lanney. When she catches Geo staring at her, she winks, causing him to blush, and smiles contentedly as the episode ends. | |||
|} | |} | ||
==Appearance== | |||
Ami has fair skin and stands at about 165-170 cm in height. Her hair has only undergone a single change in color, which occurred in Episode 8 after she drained all of her magic. Typically, she is seen wearing either her school uniform or an all-white outfit adorned with Gwain's symbol. She is almost always wearing her EXE-Arc headband, and if it's not on her head, she is likely using it as a bow. Ami's eyes are unusually large compared to other Teorans. In addition to her usual attire, Ami has a variety of outfits, including a casual white outfit with Gwain's symbol, a cloak for disguises, an elegant dress, a dress-like version of her disguise cloak, ceremonial garments, and an Orca-themed swimsuit. | |||
==Personality== | |||
*'''Bubbly & Kind-Hearted:''' Ami appears to be a typical, cheerful princess with a bubbly personality, often carrying herself in a light-hearted and somewhat airheaded manner. Her kind nature allows her to get along with everyone, and she doesn’t hold any prejudice, making her open and accepting. This is clearly shown in her unshaken support for Geo, a human, despite the societal norms against their kind. Ami’s heart is filled with care and concern for others, as she is always ready to go out of her way to help those in need. While others may perceive her as naive or overly innocent, her actions demonstrate a deep kindness that she often hides behind her cheerful façade. | |||
*'''Rebellious & Adventurous:''' Though Ami’s role as a princess may require a life of restraint, she has a rebellious streak that she refuses to suppress. She frequently sneaks away from the castle in search of freedom, preferring to live on her own terms rather than remain in the suffocating confines of royal duty. Her desire for independence often leads her into risky situations, such as when she hopped on a train just before it derailed or narrowly escaped a truck accident. This sense of adventure is a defining trait, showing her willingness to embrace danger in pursuit of her own experiences, even if it means putting herself in harm’s way. Despite her royal position, Ami yearns for the simplicity of life outside the castle walls. | |||
*'''Silent & Mysterious:''' Ami is a woman of few words, choosing to remain quiet most of the time. Her reticence often leaves her misunderstood, as many find it difficult to connect with someone who doesn’t speak often. However, despite her silence, there are those who can intuitively understand her emotions and unspoken thoughts. These individuals are able to form a deeper bond with her, recognizing that Ami’s silence isn’t a sign of indifference but rather a way of communicating her feelings without words. This adds a layer of mystery to her personality, as she remains an enigma to those who are not close to her. For Ami, silence becomes a form of personal expression, as she shares her thoughts only with those she trusts the most. | |||
*'''Socially Isolated & Misunderstood:''' Despite being the heir to the throne, Ami struggles with social isolation at Gwain College. Her quiet demeanor and the fear that her strange illness might be contagious have made her a target for ridicule. She often finds herself excluded from the social circles of her peers, which only reinforces her sense of alienation. Alongside other misfits like Deva, Agni, and Lanney, Ami faces constant teasing and exclusion. Many students view her as different, and her mute condition only deepens their fear and misunderstanding of her. However, those who take the time to get to know Ami understand that her outward silence hides a caring and thoughtful person who is simply misunderstood by those who do not bother to look past her exterior. | |||
*'''Shoulder Pirate & Shoulder Nun:''' In Episode 008, Ami’s internal conflict is humorously depicted by the presence of a Shoulder Pirate and a Shoulder Nun. The Shoulder Pirate is ambitious, straightforward, and full of bravado, urging Ami to take charge and push for what she wants. In contrast, the Shoulder Nun offers more crude and vulgar advice, using inappropriate language and suggesting outrageous actions. For example, she encourages Ami to "grab that (Geo) booty" and mocks the bride ghost with vulgar insults. This comedic clash of personalities symbolizes the internal tug-of-war Ami experiences between her desire for freedom and her more restrained, obedient side. While the Shoulder Pirate advocates for bold action, the Shoulder Nun’s crude remarks add a touch of rebellion and impulsiveness, highlighting Ami’s unpredictable nature beneath her outwardly sweet and innocent persona. | |||

~ Nun Ami to Ami after Pirate Ami tells her to hold Geo's hand |
Background
Ami Heddaviand Le'Viand, more commonly called Ami, is the princess and heir apparent of Queen Gwain's kingdom. She is the first Teoran to meet and befriend Geo. She is one of the protagonists of Gwain Saga.
She has a strange yet extremely fatal illness that causes her life energy to quickly deteriorate, so Luna made the EXE-Arc to act as her life support.
This dropdown contains the synopsis of Ami’s story. Read at your own risk as you may be spoiled otherwise! |
---|
Pre Gwain-Saga Despite her illness, Ami attended a school similar to other children her age. Gwain Saga - 001 When Geo awakens, he finds Ami asleep in the wolves' cave and places her headband on her. Gwain Saga - 002 The following day, Ami takes a shower and gets dressed before waking Geo up. Three days later, when Geo regains consciousness, both Ami and Gwain are present. Gwain Saga - 003 The episode opens with Geo waking up to find Ami watching over him. Gwain Saga - 004 Marlow, in response to Agni's aggression, knocks him away and gestures for Geo to follow her. The episode ends with Ami watching Agni hold a pepper out of Deva’s reach, seemingly amused by the scene. Gwain Saga - 005 Later, Ami is seen riding a bicycle with Lanney, while Agni and Deva argue in the background. Gwain Saga - 006 While waiting for Geo at the castle, Agni asks Ami if she still dreams of becoming a supermodel. Gwain Saga - 007 Later, in another flashback from Agni's perspective, Ami is eating the Teoran version of Oreos while Savien teases Agni and Geo. Gwain Saga - 008 When Ami arrives at the Clock Tower, she finds herself and Savien finalizing plans for their upcoming trip to the South Coast of Gwain. |
Appearance
Personality
- Bubbly & Kind-Hearted: Ami appears to be a typical, cheerful princess with a bubbly personality, often carrying herself in a light-hearted and somewhat airheaded manner.
- Rebellious & Adventurous: Though Ami’s role as a princess may require a life of restraint, she has a rebellious streak that she refuses to suppress.
- Silent & Mysterious: Ami is a woman of few words, choosing to remain quiet most of the time.
- Socially Isolated & Misunderstood: Despite being the heir to the throne, Ami struggles with social isolation at Gwain College.
- Shoulder Pirate & Shoulder Nun: In Episode 008, Ami’s internal conflict is humorously depicted by the presence of a Shoulder Pirate and a Shoulder Nun.

Equipment
EXE-Arc
- Headband-Mode: Throughout Gwain Saga, its primary function is to act as Ami's life support and if removed Ami will begin to lose as shown in 001 "-1" of her vitality. In terms of affecting Ami's vitality the EXE-Arc tends to be affected by Ami's Love Element, as shown Ami can get very flustered or simply blushing has caused her EXE-Arc to skyrocket recovering up to "+7000" vitality and just by holding Geo's hand as shown in 006 will recover 50-90 vitality.
- Bow-Mode: The EXE-Arc's Bow-Mode was its first form displayed to us in the Gwain Saga Pilot and in 001. Throughout the series, the EXE-Arc has fired various kinds of arrows with several different effects. As a healer, Ami uses her magic arrows that can inflict status effects for support. Some of the things the arrows can do are are but not limited to stun/paralysis, numb, sleep, heal, revive, and attack. Ami's also able to use several techniques with this mode such as Tri-Shot which fires 3 arrows at once and Accuracy which automatically make the aim of the arrows home in on opponents.
- Wing-Mode: Displayed in both 006 and 008, the EXE-Arc's Wing-Mode activates while the Arc is still on Ami's head, They are then shown to open the ears on the EXE-Arc so large pink magic wings can extend out from it. This technique is called Fan Wings in 007 and can help Ami run a lot faster, with her being able to catch up with a train and create afterimages. The Wing-Mode has displayed several uses such as increasing running speed, and increasing jump height by using her Hi-Jump technique.
- Supercharged-Mode: When Supercharged-Mode is activated, Ami's magic and vitality will drain much faster than normally taking it off will do. Supercharged-Mode has been shown to greatly increase Ami's magic power and speed with her being able to easily overpower Geo and keep up with the Bride.

Heart Pin

Notable Techniques
Other
Standard Tactics: Ami attempts to send their opponent asleep or stun them with multiple magic arrows. She then proceeds to use her several techniques. If all else fails and she is in a dire situation, she can activate Supercharged mode to increase her magic abilities by putting her magic into her fists and being able to attack with stun punches.
Weaknesses: Teorans can run of out magic during battle. Has an incredibly fatal incurable illness that rapidly drains her vitality when she doesn't have her EXE-Arc. Supercharged mode drains her vitality rapidly and only lasts for 4 minutes until Ami faints. Can be naive, as she thought she could hide Geo with a lamp head here. She also trusted Savien due to her naiveness. She is stated to have a history of being clueless.
Note
- Characters such as Ami, Deva, Agni, Savien, Lanney, Tahjin, and Jea are not scaled to Geo. While there have been few times where these characters have tanked hits from characters who can harm Geo, these have been deemed as Outliers as it has been consistently shown that these characters are far weaker than Geo. Such examples include Ami being knocked out from something Geo completely tanked, a train crash that Geo was able to survive being a massive threat to Ami, and Ami consistently needing Geo to protect her from threats. Agni got one shot by Marlow, who noted that she couldn't take much of Geo's attacks, along with being unable to harm a robot that Geo and Marlow could harm. The Elite Captain, a captain of an elite security troop, who is six times weaker than Geo in base and needing to amplify himself to harm him without magic, should be superior to characters like Savien, who noted how its weird that he, Deva, and Agni were invited as security guards when they were not professionals. Deva's ice is also unable to harm said robot. Kaditopez, someone who's implied to be stronger than most Teorans, is unable to harm Geo. Savien noted he couldn't harm Geo that much and couldn't take much hits from a casual Geo. Tahjin got one shot by Geo, with Geo cracking his head in the process, despite having a broken arm.
- Ami can only turn into a ghost within the haunted castle she met Noobe in.
