Background
Mighty the Armadillo is a young armadillo and friend of both Sonic the Hedgehog and Knuckles the Echidna. As a pacifist, Mighty has a strong dislike for fighting and violence, although he is incredibly proficient in self-defense if the situation arises. He has a passion for travelling, and is usually seen alongside Ray the Squirrel.
Mighty, during one of his many travels, stumbled across Newtrogic High Zone's island, where he was quickly captured by Dr. Robotnik and turned into a statue. Thankfully, Mighty was rescued and freed by Knuckles, who formed the Chaotix team as a way to resist Robotnik and return peace to the island. Mighty joined the team, and was successful in defeating the doctor.
Eventually, Mighty was seen later protecting Ray from an attack by Metal Sonic, using his extremely durable shell to deflect Metal Sonic's attack. After the scuffle, Mighty is able to join up with Sonic the Hedgehog and Tails the Fox in thwarting Dr. Robotnik yet again. During this adventure, Mighty was able to use the Chaos Emeralds to become Super Mighty.

Added Invulnerability, Energy Boost, Statistics Amplification, Healing, and Energy Absorption (They're canonically contained within a hammerspace, and they can restore your energy for your abilities and Super/Hyper form. They serve as an invincible barrier that can allow one to survive lethal attacks from far stronger foes and restore your health. Rings can also increase your abilities, such as your speed)
All abilities of base form are greatly enhanced, Self-Sustenance (Type 3), Flight, Spaceflight, Invulnerability, Reality Warping, Aura (Can ram enemies with a boosting aura attack), Fire Manipulation, BFR (Super forms could warp away the Space Colony Ark and Final Hazard, which had the Chaos Emeralds), Empathic Manipulation and Power Nullification (Sonic's Super form reduced Perfect Chaos to its base form and calmed it. He did something similar to Metal Sonic), Forcefield Creation (Super forms can can create a forcefield to constantly protect the user)

Intelligence: Gifted (Is comparable to Sonic, who has been able to thwart Dr. Eggman on multiple occassions. Mighty himself has stopped Eggman before, as well as the Hard-Boiled Heavies, who are extremely potent in combat. Is regarded as similar to Knuckles, who himself has been a fighter for several years)
Weaknesses: Seems to be as bad at swimming as Sonic canonically is.
