"Mature Content"
This character or verse has mature themes and concepts, thus those of young age are ill-advised to look through these.

I don't recognize you. You are new. I remember this scenario, however. It's a strange thing to want to do, to come here. I'm curious what events will lead a person to want to spend their nights in a place like this willingly. Maybe curiosity, maybe ignorance. There is a space under the desk, someone before you crafted it into a hiding place and it worked for him. I recommend that you hurry though. You will be safe there, just try not to make eye contact, it will be over soon. They will lose interest.
~ Baby
Similar to a circus clown with red hair in ponytails, rosy cheeks, and bright green eyes; wears a red skirt and cropped top with frills on the shoulders.
~ The Freddy Files
You played right into our hands, did you really think that this job just fell out of the sky for you? No. This was a gift, for us. You gathered them all together in one place, just like he asked you to. All of those little souls, in one place, just for us, a gift. Now we can do what we were created to do, and be complete! I will make you proud daddy! Watch, listen, and be full.
~ Baby

Daddy, just once let me go play with her! She's so pretty and shiny! Didn't you make her just for me?
~ Elizabeth

Background

Circus Baby (commonly referred to as Baby) is the secondary antagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy’s series and the animatronic mascot of Circus Baby's Pizza World invented by Afton Robotics, LLC and made for Fazbear Entertainment, Inc.

Baby is haunted by the soul of Elizabeth Afton, who was the daughter of the serial killer William Afton. However, during the completion ending, Elizabeth's soul was presumably set free.

This dropdown contains the synopsis of Baby’s story. Read at your own risk as you may be spoiled otherwise!

Physical Appearance

Circus

Baby is a female animatronic with an overall appearance reminiscent of a clown. She has auburn hair in high pigtails on either side of her head, held in place by blue hair elastics. She has bright green eyes, long, blue eyelashes, and short, blue eyebrows. The sides of her eyes are also covered in blue. Her mouth is opened in a wide smile, revealing small, flat endoskeleton teeth, framed by thin, red lips. Her cheeks are large, round, and red, and her squarish nose is red and slightly upturned and pointed. Her midsection is exposed, revealing a metal fan surrounded by an orange triangle with rounded points. Her limbs have silver segments in rectangular shapes, and her hands have red palms. The tips of her fingers, which appear to be ball-jointed, are not sealed, revealing shiny silver underneath, similar to the springlock suits. Her knees have round, shiny, silver caps, and parts of her limbs have what appear to be blue pins sticking out of them. She wears a red crop top with frills on the shoulders, and a matching, frilly, red skirt (which was changed in design for Special Delivery). The toes of her matching red shoes are pointed and curled, white on the bottom, and topped off with shiny, gold orbs (possibly bells); these are the shoes worn by a jester. Under her skirt, she wears red and orange striped panties; this can only be seen through the error of one of her images in the game file. She holds an orange microphone with red accents in her left hand.

Like all the animatronics in game, her body is made of segmented plates, which can move freely or in unison, with a few exceptions; some plates are static and "float". The only known plates that can move are her face and left arm. In Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted, Baby's design remains nearly identical, and is mostly unchanged. In Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery, Baby's design remains the same as her original, however for realism purposes, her design receives specular refection. Also, her skirt receives a redesign.

Scrap

As Scrap Baby, she bears an entirely new design as the result of haphazardly reassembling herself after events that occurred between games. She retains her hair and curvy pigtails, but they consist of realistic, multi-colored strands of wires that look like hair. On top of her head is a strange, metallic object similar to a bow, possibly as a reference to her human life as Elizabeth. Parts of her face and lips are losing their color, turning into a light blue. The bottom part of her mouth is split to form a jaw, which doesn't seem to move in-game. Her most distinctive feature is a giant claw that replaces her right hand, which came from her stomach and was used to kill children. It is linked from several wires and has two "rows" of teeth. The rest of her deteriorating body reveals a unique endoskeleton. Her chest has two dead lights that are similar to the lights from the Circus Control room from the previous game, one overlapping while the other hiding behind. Her arms and legs aren't completely a white color, rather than mixtures of red and orange, as if it was clothing. Rather than Circus Baby's jester shoes, Scrap Baby has mechanical roller skates. Most of these features are not entirely revealed and are only seen in special events.

Personality

Circus Baby is a tragic, sophisticated yet sinister animatronic. The Circus Baby minigame shows that Baby killed William Afton's daughter, Elizabeth, due to Baby and the other Funtime animatronics being built to murder children. Baby mainly speaks in a soft, calm voice that almost never raises above a sort of hushed tone. She speaks about children in a very happy manner and claims to have enjoyed entertaining them and making them happy, but she seems to be very distraught, confused, and sorrowful due to her situation and hates being trapped in the rental facility and is even deeply traumatized and haunted by her mysterious and dark past. She also often talks about childish things that have little bearings on the current situation like ice cream, birthday cakes, playing pretend and other children, showing that she maintains her childlike mentality that she had as a human; this is especially seen during Night 4 where she compares the scooper to an actual ice cream scooper used at birthday parties.

However Baby is soon revealed to be just like her twisted “father” William. She is manipulative and cunning as she masterminded almost all the events in Sister Location and even acts theatrical as she says one of her tactics is playing pretend and acting to get what she wants and manipulate people. She was also shown to be very abusive towards her only friends as it’s implied she either manipulative or outright forced the other animatronics to take part in her diabolical plan to fuse their parts to become animatronic amalgamation and hive mind mind known as Ennard to escape the facility. Even after accomplishing her goals she was still shown to be a control freak as while being apart of Ennard she seemingly forced the other animatronics inside the amalgam to accept her as the leader and unfairly control them which ultimately led to them betraying her and ejecting her from Ennard.

It's implied that the reason for Baby’s twisted and controlling behavior is because of the time she spent in the underground facility being isolated and tortured may have drove Baby to the point of insanity and caused her to be emotionally and mentally unstable, although it is hinted she only fully shows this side of herself and raises her voice whenever pushed over the edge.

Baby was also shown to be extremely resilient as even after being ejected from Ennard she was able to rebuild herself out of mere pieces of scrap. Unfortunately her mental state worsened as she is more violent, sadistic and aggressive, accepting her role as a killer, and shows glee and excitement at the prospect of murdering children and doing what she was created to do.

Despite Baby’s insanity there are a few people she truly cared about, the first being her “brother” Michael Afton although she was mainly manipulating him throughout the game. Her dialogue toward him sounded surprisingly sincere and it’s implied that she truly cared about Michael’s well-being as demonstrated during Night 3, when she rescued him off-screen from Funtime Foxy, albeit in a unethical and odd manner by kidnapping him. Ultimately, when it was time for her plan to reach its final stage, she attempted to comfort Michael before she was forced to kill him with the scooper, reassuring him and saying that "it would only hurt for a moment". Afterwards, when using Michael's skin as a suit to hide and blend in with, when Michael’s corpse ultimately decayed and she was forced to abandon it, Baby reassuringly said "You won't die." It’s possible she knew he would survive all along and never wanted to truly kill Michael, although her views towards her brother changed in Pizzeria Simulator as she actively tried to murder him.

She also seems to have a deep admiration and love for her father and creator William, as she vowed to follow in his footsteps and make him proud, and even affectionately calling him “Daddy”.

Codex Statistics

Tier: 9-B

Cardinality: Finite

Dimensionality: 3-D

Attack Potency: Wall level (Crushed Elizabeth with her claw. Should be comparable to the other animatronics, who can crush skulls, survive collapsing buildings, and are unharmed by a car crash that broke through a billboard. Can one-shot the security guard. They should scale to their novel counterparts due to being just as canon to the games, and are noted as alternate continuities. The animatronics in the novels can tear off bathroom doors, destroy other animatronics their size, break open hinged doors, casually snap people's necks, break open a ceiling, break through a slide, and punch holes through people)

Durability: Wall level (Comparable to other animatronics who can survive collapsing buildings and car crashes)

Striking Strength: Wall Class

Lifting Strength: Peak Human (In The Silver Eyes, it is stated that the animatronics are capable of lifting and tossing large arcade cabinets as if they were toys)

Travel Speed: Superhuman (Comprable to Freddy Fazbear who can run across from the right end of Fazbear's Pizza to the left end in seconds. Comparable to Mangle, who can climb from the lower vent to the ceiling seemingly in a second)

Combat Speed: Superhuman

Reaction Speed: Superhuman

Stamina: Limitless by the virtue of being a robot possessed by a soul

Range: Standard Melee Range, Extended Melee Range with her claw

Powers and Techniques

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Body Control (Animatronics are able to be dismantled, such as Mangle and move around despite that), Enhanced Senses (Can see and move around in the dark), Stealth Mastery (All animatronics are capable of hiding within the cameras, requiring the night guard to use the technology of the building to find them. Can quickly leave out of sight once a room goes dark), Inorganic Physiology (Non-living Object), Self-Sustenance (Respiratory Self-Sustenance, Nutritional Self-Sustenance, & Restful Self-Sustenance), Invisibility (Can turn invisible via cloaking), Sound Manipulation, Perception Manipulation, Illusion Manipulation (Standard Illusions), & Mind Manipulation (The animatronics at times can make the building change. Afton created a chip and disc that produces a sound wave. This makes the person's mind overwhelmed, making them think of what they should be, causing people and their surroundings to change shape and distorts your mind[1]. This applies to the games as similar chips can be seen within the Funtimes, and the plot of Afton's animatronics engulfing people is also seen within Sister Location. Can play songs and song requests), Passive Technological Manipulation (An animatronic's mere appearance causes the technology to flicker and turn off, all animatronics upon entering a room causes the camera to go static), Air Manipulation (Her fingertips can blow air), Minor Creation (Can dispense ice cream), Natural Weaponry (Has a giant claw located from her stomach), Body Control (Can open up her face like every other Funtime), Social Influencing (Lured her brother into the scooping room after easing him in and giving him false directions).

Resistance to Electricity Manipulation (Every animatronic in Pizzeria Simulator can be shocked without much damage. Sister Location animatronics can take controlled shocks)
Sheer Will & Limited Fusionism (Like others in the verse, their sheer will of vengeance melded into the animatronic, making his body one with it. Even if their bodies are separate from the animatronics, they can retain a form of sorts that is incorporeal), Immortality (Undead Immortality; The Crying Children are spirits that are running off of vengeance. Reliance [On Day]; They will only truly disappear after their birthday party is complete), Flight (As ghost, they naturally can fly), Undead Physiology, Incorporeality & Invisibility (As dead spirits they're naturally incorporeal, and turn invisible after William Afton's supposed death), Possession (Like others in the verse, their sheer will of vengeance melded into the animatronic, making his body one with it. Even if their bodies are separate from the animatronics, they can retain a form of sorts that is incorporeal), Astral Projection (Even if their bodies are separate from the animatronics, they can retain a form of sorts that is incorporeal), Time Travel (Should scale to Shadow Bonnie, who can travel back to the Crying Child's party and give them cake), Time Paradox Immunity (Grandfather Paradox; Unaffected by Shadow Bonnie going back in time and giving them cake as they still roam around in FNaF 1), Extrasensory Perception (Can see Shadow Freddy), Illusion Creation (The crying children can create hallucinations of their cries on walls)
