~ Cere Junda |
Background
Cere Junda, a Force-sensitive human female, was a Jedi Master, who mentored Padawan Cal Kestis in the ways of the Force during the rise of the Galactic Empire. At one time she was trained as the Padawan of Jedi Master Eno Cordova, before graduating to the rank of Jedi Knight and taking Trilla Suduri as her own apprentice.
In the aftermath of Order 66, Junda and Suduri were both eventually captured and severely tortured by the Empire, leading Suduri to fall to the Dark side of the Force as part of the Inquisitorius. Junda escaped from the Empire but was devastated by feelings of guilt and fear, leading her to ultimately sever her connection to the Force. She later met Greez Dritus and joined the crew of his ship the Mantis, and during their travels across the galaxy she was forced to reconcile with her past mistakes and reconnect with the Force. Determined to overthrow the regime that all but annihilated her fellow Jedi, Junda dedicated herself to the secret restoration of the Jedi Order.
In the end, Junda distanced herself from the Mantis crew, forming a Jedi cache on the holy moon of Jedha and becoming a member of the Hidden Path, a network that smuggled force-sensitives away from the Empire.
Junda also reencountered her old master, Eno Cordova, and worked together to preserve the Jedi Archives. After being visited again by Cal Kestis, the Empire was tipped off by Bode Akuna about the cache's presence on Jedha. Junda died fighting off Darth Vader during the subsequent assault on the archive.

Age of the Republic
Capture by the Empire
After Suduri's transformation, she was brought into the room to mock and taunt Junda and her failed protection efforts. As she looked upon her fallen apprentice, Junda became overwhelmed with anger and regret, and tapped into the dark side in this rage, killing everyone in the room and that she came across during her escape, except Suduri herself. During her escape, Junda managed to steal several Imperial code clearances. Over the years, Junda decided to suppress her connection to the Force, having felt the power of the dark side and overcome with fear of falling completely into it, as well as becoming burdened by guilt over Suduri's fate. Travels with Greez Dritus
At one point the two traveled to the Slag Pit cantina on Nar Shaddaa. There, Greez was ambushed by a group of smugglers, causing them to all be kicked out. Greez ended up drinking rum from Junda's flask in the alley outside. According to Junda, that day became memorable as one of the best days of her life. During one of their missions, Junda and Greez travelled to Todola after having heard that there was a possible Jedi in hiding within the area. When the two arrived, they quickly discovered the system to be heavily-occupied by a strong Imperial presence. They also learned that the location was being used as a secret walker production site. The Imperials then contacted the Mantis, warning that they would fire upon the ship. Junda responded quickly, apologizing and coming up with an excuse of how their pilot was sick and that the ship's sensors were currently offline. Attempt to rebuild te Jedi Order
With Kestis, she infiltrated the Fortress Inquisitorius in an effort to recover a Jedi holocron containing a list of Force-sensitive children, which was in the possession of Suduri. Using Suduri's lightsaber (which Kestis had stolen during a duel on Bogano) as a weapon, she and Kestis succeeded in reacquiring the holocron. The mission brought her face-to-face with her former Padawan, who she attempted to make amends with. However, her efforts were cut short when Darth Vader murdered Trilla. Junda and Kestis made a frantic escape from the Sith Lord, including a brief duel in which Junda was thrown into an abyss and injured. Kestis almost drowned trying to save Junda before they were both rescued by Merrin. Back on the Mantis, Junda and Kestis discussed what to do with the holocron, deciding to destroy it to prevent it falling into the Empire's hands. |

Powers and Techniques
Is a Force Sensitive being, which gives: Superhuman Physical Characteristics with Statistics Boost (Force sensitive users can enhance their strength, this is shown with lightsaber forms such as form IV which uses their force powers to exceed standard norms of physical possibilities, this also applies to other things, such as when Obi Wan Kenobi was able to pry open General Grevious' armor plating[40], they can also amplify their durability to survive attacks they normally wouldn't be able to survive[41]. Force Sensitive users can employ a great boost of speed to move far faster then before[42], being referred too as force speed. They can also use the force to greatly amplify[43] their jump height in combat[44]. Force Sensitive users can heighthen their reactions to block laser shots[45]), Acrobatics (Through the use of the force, force sensitive users are able to do full flips, run faster then before, climb up and perform various parkour and be able to perform handstands[46]), Limited Self-Sustenance (Respiratory; Force Sensitive users can briefly breathe in space and withstand its pressures[47]), Auto-Pilot (Force sensitive users can let go of their conscious self and act on instinct to block attacks even when their vision and senses are blocked[48]. They can let the force control their actions, allowing them to do things such as shoot a target that's near impossible to hit[49]), Physics Preservation (Force Sensitive users are able to enter the "World between Worlds"[50], a mystical plane within the Force that connects all of time and space, creating a conduit between the living and the dead), Empowerment (Through further belief in the force and it's abilities, one is able to pull off feats deemed impossible by their physical self[51], such as Yoda lifting the X-Wing out of the water[52], fighting against a living giant mountain[53], and Darth Vader being unimpressed by the power of the Death Star stating "the ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force"[54]), Time Paradox Immunity (Newcomb's Paradox; Force Sensitive users have clouded futures making it difficult for other users to see their future[55]), Cosmic Awareness (Force Sensitive users can feel a great disturbance within the force, such as when Obi Wan felt millions of voices crying out in terror[56] after the Death Star destroyed Alderaan[57]. Through the force, a force sensitive can see many things, other places, the future, the past, and old friends long gone[58]), Clairvoyance (Force sensitive users are able to see and tell an object even when it's hidden from sight[59]), Precognition (Premonitions; Force Sensitive users are able to see the future viewing and feeling the pain of the people they see in the future[60]. Force Sensitive users can also have dream premonitions of future events, such as when Anakin foresaw in a dream the death of Padme[61] along with dreams of his mother being in trouble which led to it being her death[62]. Analytical Prediction; Force Sensitive users are able to instinctively see things before they can happen, giving them quick reflexes[63]. Noted that through the usage of the force, a jedi can predict and deflect incoming blaster bolts and reflect them[64]), Enhanced Senses (Force Sensitive users can communicate with each other through the force, no matter their distance[65]), Telepathy (Force Sensitive users can look into one's minds through their feelings, noting that "your thoughts betray you"[66], allowing them to peer into their minds and find out information about them, such as when Vader found out about Leia through probing Vader's mind[67]. Jedi can feel other's thoughts to be able to speak with them, such as Ahsoka being able to speak with Grogu and learning his name despite being a baby[68]), Extrasensory Perception (Force Sensitive users can feel emotions such as fear[69]. and sense presences[70], along with knowing exactly who is in what area[71]. Allowing them to even find their exact location[72]), Information Analysis (Force Sensitive users are able to use the force to learn things about others, seeing their strengths and weaknesses[73]), Mind Manipulation (Force sensitive users can influence[74], the minds of users[75], on weak-minded individuals[76], being known as a jedi mind trick. They can also influence the mind into believing they're being choked), Empathic Manipulation (Force Sensitive users can calm a user down to the point that their brain shuts off[77]), Energy Manipulation (Force Sensitive users are able to use and manipulate the force[78], an energy field created by all living things, surrounds everything, penetrating everything, and binding the galaxy together[79]), Animal Taming (Force Sensitives are able to use the force to influence animals who were once hostile to become friendly with them and help them out[80]), Sleep Manipulation (Force Sensitive users are able to put people to sleep[81]), Portal Manipulation (Force Sensitive users are able to open portals, including to places such as the world between worlds[82]. Force Sensitive users are able to close off portals, like when Ezra sealed the portal to world between worlds[83]), Pain Tolerance (The rage of one can fuel the life in them to where even if they're stabbed by a lightsaber[84], they will persist on and live due to their rage, even if they return back to the light[85]), Fate Protection (Force Sensitive users follow the "Will of the Force", which is a concept where all things are fated to happen due to the force[86], with midi-chlorians being a miscroscopic lifeform that resides within all living cells that speak to the force sensitive users and tells them the will of the force[87]), Non-Standard Interaction (Force Sensitive users are able to interact with incoporeal magic and cut through it[88]), Absorption & Power Nullification (Force Sensitive users can absorb attacks[89], and keep the attacks at bay[90], to overpower and nullify the attacks[91]), Attack Reflection (Force Sensitive users can absorb and redirect attacks, along with just deflect attacks away from them[92]), Telekinesis (Force Sensitive users can use the force to telekinetically control objects with more trained force sensitive users learning that size does not matter being able to lift things of incredible size through the force[93]. They are also able to do this without using their hands[94], requiring only to focus on their mind[95]. Force Sensitive users can cause a telekinetic push that pushes enemies away[96], being referred too as force push. Force Sensitive users can cause a telekinetic crush that chokes their target[97] causing them to grasp their throat as all the air leaves them[98]. They can also use the force to telekinetically suppress explosions for a time to lessen the strength of the blast[99]), Fusionism (Upon death, all beings return and transform back to become one with the force[100]), Precognition Negation (Premonitions; The usage of the dark side of the force clouds everything, making it hard for one to see the future[101]).
Should have all of her non-force related unique abilities, no longer has any force abilities as she cut herself from the force, Weapon Mastery (Skilled user of her blaster, with Cal noting that even Bode is only second as a marksman to Cere Junda)
Equipment
- Cere's lightsaber: This green-bladed lightsaber was originally owned by Cere Junda. Sometime after escaping torture, she removed the kyber crystal and sold it to help pay off Greez Dritus' debts with the Haxion Brood, but kept the hilt. She later gave it to Cal Kestis on Ilum for him to create a new lightsaber with its parts. During the five years separated from Cal, Cere created a new lightsaber which produced a blue blade.
- Trilla's lightsaber: A double-bladed spinning lightsaber was utilized by the Second Sister during her time as a member of the Inquisitorius. Kestis gave the saber to his master, Cere Junda, the Second Sister's former Master, who knighted him with it. Junda used the lightsaber as her primary weapon during the Mission to Nur. By the time Kestis faced the Second Sister in their fourth and final duel at Fortress Inquisitorius, she had replaced this lightsaber with a new one.
- DL-18 Blaster Pistol: The DL-18 blaster pistol was a model of blaster pistol commonly used throughout the galaxy, particularly by bounty hunters and smugglers. The blaster, manufactured by BlasTech Industries, was inexpensive and allowed for easy customization; because of this, the blaster pistol became very popular in the Outer Rim. Former Jedi Padawan and Order 66 survivor Kanan Jarrus used a modified DL-18 with a dewback skin handle after the fall of the Jedi Order. The DL-18 blaster pistol featured a long barrel and over-concentrated beam that supplied extra firepower.
Notable Techniques
- Telekinesis: One of the most common abilities utilized by force sensitive users, the ability to move or otherwise manipulate objects using only an application of the Force. Often this was used by Jedi and Sith to fling away their enemies or hurl items at them.
- Mind Trick: Another well-known ability was the mind trick, a power that could be applied to influence the thoughts and actions of another individual, often to the user's advantage.
- Force Visions: Force visions are a powerful and mysterious ability that sometimes occurred without conscious application in sleep, allowing the user to get vague premonitions of the future in their dreams.
- Force Augmentation: Force users are able to, both consciously and inherently through their connection to the Force, augment their own natural athleticism, allowing for speed, coordination and acrobatic maneuvers beyond natural limits. These included the ability to run on walls. Additionally, by using the Force on oneself, combined with the user's strength of mind and will, a Force user could increase his or her resilience to harm, especially to other Force abilities. This typically allowed both strong and skilled practitioners of the Force to defend against another Force-user's attempt to restrain, throw, repel, mentally influence or evaluate, or otherwise affect or harm them with the Force. Most Force users were, therefore, less able to effectively use the Force on each other and tend to rely on physical attacks to break their opponents guard before attempting to use a telekinetic attack. However, those with sufficient enough skill or power in the Force could more easily overwhelm such defenses with less effort as well as make themselves practically immune to having their protection broken by others, making them extremely dangerous in direct combat.
- Mind Probe: A mind probe is a Force power which allows the user to search the thoughts of others. It was possible to resist this ability using the Force; powerful Force users could even turn the effects of the probe around and manage a look into the mind of the user.
- Force Sense: Force sense remains the most basic of Force abilities. It can be used to feel another being's feelings, the future, ripples in the Force caused by momentous or traumatic events, impending danger and the presence of the dark side.
- Precognition: Closely related also to force sense and force sight was precognition, the ability to hear direction and whispered promptings from the Force about what lay ahead in the immediate future. Jedi and other Force-users would use this ability to sense impending danger, allowing the Force to warn them of a threat. Jedi can also sense the location of hidden beings or enemies from a distance, and through barriers, allowing them to find, engage or avoid a being.
- Disturbance in the Force: Disturbances in the Force were caused by serious events such as mass death or the presence of powerful Force users, whose signature in the Force was strong. These disturbances could be quite powerful; when nearly all of the Jedi were killed by Order 66, Yoda felt physical pain, despite the fact that he was on Kashyyyk, thousands of light-years away.
- Holocron Manipulation: The holocrons used by both Jedi and Sith, could only be opened via the Force, which protected them from outside intrusion.
Other
Standard Tactics
- Disconnected from the Force: Cere will use her blaster and wisdom to fight against enemies.
- Connected to the Force: Cere has shown deft wielding of her padawan, Trilla's, lightsaber, being able to use it to a point that she impresses even Cal. She will also use a force barrier to protect herself and others from attacks. She will also use dark side powers if angered enough.
- Jedi Survivor: Cere has the same battle strategies from Jedi Fallen Order, however she has cleared her use of the dark side, becoming stronger and less fearful from doing so, she can also heal herself using the force.
Weaknesses
- Standard Force Sensitive Weaknesses: Force sensitive users have a weakness to the dark path of the force, where it's quicker and easily more seductive, being able to lure force sensitive users into becoming agents of evil[124]. Force sensitive users having doubts in their abilities can make them unable to do things they are not aware of[125]. Though a force sensitive can see the future, it is difficult to see an exact future as the future is always in motion[126]. Force sensitive users have a harder time sensing things if the area is overwhelmingly strong in the force[127][128].
- Unique Weaknesses: Initially cut herself off from the force due to the darkness calling to her, though she reconnected later.

- ↑ KYBER CRYSTAL (LIGHTSABER CRYSTAL)
At the heart of every Jedi lightsaber is a kyber crystal found on several planets, most notably the icebound caves of Ilum. This crystal is attuned to the Force, and connected to a Jedi Knight on a deeply personal level. In this way, a lightsaber is an extension of a Jedi's Force awareness. Because Jedi let the Force guide their selection of the crystal, the vibration that the crystal creates in the lightsaber blade helps Jedi center themselves and find balance in the Force. In this way, a Jedi can center his or her attention beyond the distractions of combat. A lightsaber crystal is colorless until first attuned and connected to a Jedi -- at which times it glows either blue or green, or in some rare instances, another shade. From that point on, it retains that hue. - ↑ The lightsaber is a complex instrument consisting of a pommel cap, hand grip, control module, main hilt, focusing lens, and blade emitter, with an energy core powered by a kyber crystal.
