Never underestimate the cunning of a pirate. Or a fox for that matter!
~ Foxy
Uh, by now I'm sure you've noticed the older models sitting in the back room. Uh, those are from the previous location. We just use them for parts now. The idea at first was to repair them...uh, they even started retrofitting them with some of the newer technology, but they were just so ugly, you know? The smell...uh, so the company decided to go in a whole new direction and make them super kid-friendly.

Welcome back to Parts and Service. Foxy has been out of commission for quite some time. This series of simple repairs should return him to full working condition. First, carefully pick up and place Foxy's head on his endoskeleton.

Background

Foxy is a major antagonist in the Five Nights at Freddy's series. Foxy is a discontinued animatronic pirate fox entertainer housed at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. He resides at his own separate stage in the pizzeria. Secretly, Foxy and the other animatronics are haunted by children murdered by a man named William Afton. He and the others are now seeking revenge against their killer by attacking any adults in the pizzeria after-hours in blind rage. He was the pirate fox entertainer when the first Freddy Fazbear's Pizza was opened in 1983 (however, it's unknown if he was discontinued or not). In 1987, he and the original animatronics had all fallen into severe disrepair and Foxy was replaced by his newer counterpart for the "improved" Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, Mangle. After the pizzeria's closing, as well as the Toy Animatronics being scrapped, he and the original animatronics were refurbished for the new pizzeria, as of the events of the first game. However, after the closure of the new pizzeria, he and the other animatronics got dismantled by their killer. His soul, along with the others, was presumably set free, as evidenced by the good ending.

Codex Statistics

Grade: B

Tier: 9-B

Cardinality: Finite

Dimensionality: 3-D

Attack Potency: Wall level (Potency) (Should be comparable to the other animatronics, who can crush[3] skulls[4], survive[5] collapsing buildings[6], and are unharmed by a car crash that broke through a billboard[7]. Can one-shot the security guard[8]. They should scale to their novel counterparts due to being just as canon to the games, and are noted as alternate continuities[9]. The animatronics in the novels can tear off bathroom doors, destroy other animatronics their size, break open hinged doors, casually snap people's necks, break open a ceiling, break through a slide, and punch holes through people[10])

Durability: Wall level (Comparable to other animatronics who can survive collapsing buildings and car crashes)

Striking Strength: Wall Class (Potency)

Lifting Strength: Peak Human (In The Silver Eyes, it is stated that the animatronics are capable of lifting and tossing large arcade cabinets as if they were toys)

Travel Speed: Superhuman (Can run down the hall quickly[11]. Can jump all the way from the end of the hallway over to the nightguard in his jumpscare[12]. Comparable to Freddy Fazbear, who run across from the right end of Fazbear's Pizza[13] to the left end in seconds[14]. Comparable to Mangle, who can climb from the lower vent to the ceiling seemingly in a second[15])

Attack Speed: Superhuman

Knowledge: Unknown level

Powers and Techniques

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Body Control (Animatronics can be dismantled, such as Mangle[16] and move around despite that), Enhanced Senses (Can see and move around in the dark[17]), Stealth Mastery (All animatronics are capable of hiding within the cameras, requiring the night guard to use the technology of the building to find them[18]. Can quickly leave out of sight once a room goes dark[19]), Self-Sustenance (Respiratory Self-Sustenance, Nutritional Self-Sustenance, & Restful Self-Sustenance), Possibly Information Analysis (Some of the toy animatronics parts have been put in the old animatronics[20], the toys have a facial recognition software to detect criminals[21]), Technological Manipulation (An animatronic's mere appearance causes the technology to flicker and turn off[22], all animatronics upon entering a room causes the camera to go static[23]), Berserk Mode (It's stated that animatronics becomes more active as the week progresses[24]).

Resistance to Electricity Manipulation (Every animatronic in Pizzeria Simulator can be shocked without much damage[25]. Sister Location animatronics can take controlled shocks[26])

Sheer Will, Possession, & Limited Fusionism (Like others in the verse[31], their sheer will of vengeance melded[32] into the animatronic, making his body one with it[33]. Even if their bodies are separate from the animatronics, they can retain a form of[34] sorts that are incorporeal[35]), Undead Physiology (The Crying Children are spirits that are running off of vengeance[36]. They will only truly disappear after their birthday party is complete[37]), Flight (As ghost, they naturally can fly[38]), Incorporeality & Invisibility (As dead spirits they're naturally incorporeal, turn invisible after William Afton's supposed death[39]. Golden Freddy can disappear from sight and re-appear as merely a head[40]), Astral Projection (Even if their bodies are separate from the animatronics, they can retain a form of[41] sorts that are incorporeal[42]), Time Travel (Should scale to Shadow Bonnie, who can travel back to the Crying Child's party and give them cake[43]), Time Paradox Immunity (Grandfather Paradox; Unaffected by Shadow Bonnie going back in time and giving them cake as they still roam around in FNaF 1[44]), Extrasensory Perception (Can see Shadow Freddy[45]), Illusion Creation (The crying children can create hallucinations of their cries on walls[46]. Golden Freddy's appearance creates many text images to appear such as "it's me"[47]), Teleportation (Spirits such as Golden Freddy can teleport around[48]), Body Control (Spirits such as Golden Freddy remove his entire body and reappear as just a head[49]), Pocket Reality Manipulation & Dimensional Travel (Golden Freddy is the one who created the hell room in Ultimate Custom Night, along with all the animatronics[50]. Other spirits[51] can create[52] similar spaces[53] as shown in FNaF 3[54]. Other animatronics and spirits such as Shadow Bonnie can access these areas[55]), Mind Manipulation & Breaking the Fourth Wall (Golden Freddy's jumpscare can instantly crash the game, in-universe this would essentially be making the person go unconscious through overloading the character with their hallucinations[56]. Other spirits such as Shadow Bonnie are capable of doing the same[57])

Equipment

  • Hook: Foxy's signature hook, it is rarely seen to be used as a weapon by him however in any of his jumpscares, as it is likely just a prop.

Other

Standard Tactics:

Also, check on the curtain in Pirate Cove from time to time. The character in there seems unique in that he becomes more active if the cameras remain off for long periods of time. I guess he doesn't like being watched. I don't know...
~ Night 2 Phone Call
Due to being within an animatronic, each animatronic has a movement cycle they go by, Foxy's starting location is behind the curtain in Pirate Cove, from which he will emerge and sprint towards the Office to attack the night guard on any given night if he is not monitored enough. Unlike the other animatronics in the game, Foxy will hide for a while before coming to attack the night guard on the first night.

Uh, did you ever see Foxy the pirate? Oh wait, Foxy... ..oh yeah, Foxy! Uh...hey, listen! Uh, that one was always a bit twitchy, uh... ..I'm not sure if the Freddy head trick will work on Foxy. Uh, if for some reason he activates during the night, and you see him standing at the far end of the hall, uh, just flash your light at him from time to time. Those older models would always get disoriented with bright lights. It would cause a... ..system restart or something.
~ Night 2 Phone Call
He starts at the Parts/Service area before making his way to the hallway outside the Office and after 50 seconds will try to pounce the night guard from there. Parts/Service is the only room in which Withered Foxy will appear on camera. If all of the other animatronics have already left, he can appear standing in the middle of the room. He will also come directly back here when the player manages to repel him. Withered Foxy will then make his way back to the hallway outside of the Office.

Foxy resides in Pirate Cove alongside Bonnie. Like in the original Five Nights at Freddy's, the player must check him (but only if the figurine on the player's desk has changed to him) to slow down his attack, or else he'll escape and reach the Office. Once he's reached the Office, he will take himself apart and his pieces will be slid in through any open door or vent. Once all of his pieces are in the Office, he will reassemble himself and jumpscare the player.

Weaknesses: If it hits 6 AM, the animatronic no longer targets and resorts to its daytime functions[58]. The older models are disoriented by bright lights, causing a system restart[59]. Looking at the withered models on the camera causes them to not move[60].

Sometimes a timeline gets so full that the only way to tell a real story is have the story set in a different timeline, an alternate universe, a different location, or perhaps from a vantage point that isn't entirely what it appears to be."
