Background

The Doom Slayer is the primary protagonist and main character of the DOOM series. He is intended to be the latest iteration and continuation of the classic Doom Marine who is the protagonist for most of the series.

Note: Eternal Life After Death is essentially the in-lore reason for why beings in Doom respawn, and of course it relates to biblical natures. Even when the Doom Slayer metaphysically destroys the Khan Maykr, a being already metaphysically non-existent (to an extent), enemies like the Maykrs can come back after his death. Because everyone in the verse pulls from the same form of Regeneration, that same regenerative potency would apply to him.
