~ Sol to Dizzy |
Background
Sol Badguy is the protagonist of the Guilty Gear series and Ky Kiske's rival. He is an aloof and brash bounty hunter of immense skill on a quest to find and eliminate all Gears and their creator, That Man.
Powers and Stats
Tier: 3-B, 3-A without his limiter and Dragon Install, 3-A Environmental Destruction with Adam's Seed
Name: Sol Badguy (His real name is Frederick Bulsara)
Origin: Guilty Gear
Sex: Male
Age: Nearly 200 years old
Classification: Prototype Gear, Scientist (formerly), Bounty Hunter
Attack Potency: Multi-Galaxy level (Destroyed Justice, who's Information Density is equivalent to a galaxy cluster), Universe level+ without his limiter and Dragon Install (With Dragon Install, he was stated to be able to obliterate Universal Will, who can survive Saint Orotario[1], which is infinite energy. Dragon Install is accessing his true power for a limited period of time [2]), Universe level Environmental Destruction with Adam's Seed (Him and Justice were going to amplify the Information Flares, which would have distorted the space-time of the universe, and fuse the Backyard, a higher dimension, with the universe while also destroying its space. This would have included Underworld Hill, a pseudo-living space formed in the Backyard that is beyond space-time as a whole)
Dimensionality: 3-D
Travel Speed: Extra-Temporal (Could move within Underworld Hill, a place that surpasses time itself)
Combat Speed: Extra-Temporal (Can fight those who inhabit Underworld Hill)
Reaction Speed: Extra-Temporal
Lifting Strength: Class P (Superior to Anji Mito, who can match large gears stated to weigh around 14 trillion tons [3])
Striking Strength: Multi-Galaxy, Universal+ without his limiter and Dragon Install
Durability: Multi-Galaxy level (Can take hits from Justice), Universe level+ without his limiter and with Dragon Install (Unaffected by backlash from wielding two blasts of Saint Oratorio [4]); Regeneration and Resurrection makes him hard to kill
Stamina: Extremely High
Range: Extended Melee Range physically and with weapons, Kilometers with attacks, Universal with Information Flares
Standard Equipment: Junkyard Dog Mk. III
Intelligence: Extraordinary Genius (Sol is one of the most powerful characters in the series with a century's worth of combat experience, having fought a variety of foes who he treats as complete jokes. Given his past as a researcher, Sol was an advanced practitioner of Magic outside of his Fire spells, being able to grasp the mechanics behind spells extremely quickly. He was also an excellent scientist, his intellectual feats regarding magic and engineering include his involvement with the Saint Oratorio spell, and the creation of the Gear Cell Suppressor, the Outrage, and the Firewheel Mk.2)
Standard Tactics: Sol will lazily fight his opponent with little effort and use his standard techniques and brute strength. If he knows his opponent is powerful or a threat, he will put in more of an effort and not shy away from tactics such as tapping into Dragon Install, which passively warps reality, destroy space, cause sickness and mutations and transmutate opponents by rewriting their information.
Weaknesses: If MasterGhost sustains too much damage, his soul will be destroyed. Dragon Install can only be maintained for short periods of time, and it will leave him drained of his stamina for a few seconds once it deactivates
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
* Gun Flame: A move where Sol fires a projectile made of a stream of fire.
- Gun Flame Feint: A move where Sol feigns a Gun Flame and puts himself in a position to counter-attack.
- Volcanic Viper: An anti-air attack where Sol jumps and swings his weapon upwards while engulfed in flames.
- Grand Viper: Sol performs a slide on the ground, leaving a trail of flames behind him and then follows up with a Volcanic Viper.
- Bandit Revolver: A flaming spinning axe kick; he can also perform this move in midair.
- Bandit Bringer: A flaming jumping punch to the opponent.
- Riot Stomp: Sol jumps on the wall to push himself off to deliver a powerful kick, it also has a flaming axe kick variant.
- Wild Throw: Sol grabs his opponent with one arm to smash them into the ground.
- Fafnir: A flaming straight punch to the face.
- Sidewinder: Another flaming straight punch, this time in mid-air.
- Kudakero: A flaming kick that is done in the air. It can smash the ground as well.
* All Guns Blazing: A move where Sol kicks his opponent back, dashes past them creating a trail of flames behind him, which then collide with the opponent in a large burst of fire.
* Dragon Install: An Overdrive that transforms Sol by tapping into the dormant power of his Gear side to increase his stats. After activating this form he’ll either emit a bright gold aura around him (also called Gold Mode) or begin blinking red.
Note: The Backyard being bigger than the universe implies that the universe is not infinite and the Backyard being a higher dimension doesn't rectify this, hence Sol and Justice's amplifications of the Information Flares being rated as 3-A.
