This is your idea of a nice little trip down memory lane?... Now!

“
Where even angels lose their way... Ten years ago, you died at this very spot. There's no mistake. You drowned. The truth is, this world, in which you are still alive, is the irregularity... This is the false reality! Ten years ago, it was Lynx who tried to kill you at this beach. After Prometheus broke the link between FATE and the Flame, FATE tried to eliminate any obstacle that stood in its way! In the meantime, the six Dragons had sent Harle forth to try and gain possession of the Flame. Harle made contact with FATE's biological incarnation, Lynx, and tricked him into temporarily joining forces. The elimination of the Prometheus circuit's lock on the Frozen Flame was everyone's top priority! Lynx and Harle abducted Lucca, who alone could release the Prometheus lock that guarded the Flame... But the whole attempt only ended in failure. Then, they just waited for you to appear instead! You see, FATE calculated that you would one day cross the dimensions and try to make contact with the Flame. I don't know how to break this to you, but... Lynx was actually your father, Wazuki! Drawing closer to the Flame caused him to become unstable, and the image of you dying in terror changed him completely!
Finally, after having his psyche totally eroded, he lost his soul and was easily integrated by FATE... FATE turned Wazuki into a biological interface, modelling him after your worst fear at the time -- a panther. Although Wazuki managed to escape from Chronopolis with you, he later completely succumbed to FATE. Humans are such fragile, disjointed, imperfect things. Love and hate... Life and death... Perhaps even FATE itself dreamed of using the Flame to some day reincarnate itself into a new species. It is quite sad, really... It's like when you gaze into the Flame, the Flame gazes back into you.
Crono is the silent protagonist in Chrono Trigger. He lives with his mother in Truce in the Present. His personality matches that of the conventional hero archetype and he is willing to place his life on the line for the sake of others.
Crono was born sometime prior to 1000 AD to a woman named Gina and an unnamed father in the city of Truce. In his youth, Crono befriended a girl named Lucca. In the year 1000 AD, on the day of the Millennial Fair, Crono met Princess Nadia in disguise as Marle, though he did not know it at the time. Together, they enjoyed the fair's festivities until the unveiling of Lucca's new invention, the Telepod. Always faithful to his friend, he agrees to test the device despite the potential danger. The transportation was successful, however, when Marle wanted to tests it, she is sent back in time. Crono bravely decides to follow her, and the ensuing quest has him rescuing her lost ancestor Queen Leene to ensure Marle's existence in modern times. He, Lucca, and Marle all return to the present, after which Lucca suggests he escort Marle home, as she has work to do.
Returning Marle home back to Guardia Castle, he is accused of kidnapping her in attempts to thwart the throne. Represented by Pierre in a trial, Crono is sentenced to death by the Chancellor, regardless of whether he is found guilty or not guilty. Lucca frees him seconds before he is brought to the Guillotine and together, they flee the Prison Towers. On their way to Guardia Forest, Marle tags along and the three travel to the Future via an open Time Gate. Investigating the area in search of a means to return home, Crono and his friends find food supplies for the inhabitants of Arris Dome, where he also meets his descendant Doan and learns that the ruined future was caused by Lavos. He vows to save the planet from destruction through the use of time-travel. Shortly after, he assists a robotic robot named Robo in deactivating a Derelict Factory to find a way home.
while Entering the time Gate, he arrives at the End of Time where he receives magical abilities. With the aid of these powers and the powers of his allies, Crono successfully reforges the Masamune by acquiring Dreamstone in Prehistory and attempts to slay the Fiendlord, Magus, whom he believes is the root of Lavos's presence in the timeline. This leads him back to Prehistory where helps the Iokans destroy the Reptites, thus securing the evolution and prosperity of the human race whose lives were jeopardized by these sentient lizards. Directly afterward, he realizes Lavos was not summoned by Magus but is an alien species who fell from the sky in this time period. Attempting to follow the beast to the crater it created by landing, he is transported to the Antiquity era.
In the Antiquity time era, he rescues Melchior from the Mountain of Woe and subsequently attempts to rescue Schala, the innocent Zeal Princess who is being exploited by her mother, Queen Zeal. When Crono confronts Lavos in the Ocean Palace of the Kingdom of Zeal as a result of the rescue mission, he sacrifices himself to save everyone present. With time travel, his friends manage to replace him at the moment before he dies with a clone received from the Millennial Fair in 1000 A.D., saving his life. While the other six playable characters have many lines of dialog, Crono's responses to events are usually implied only through reaction and gesture, often for comedic effect, which wrongfully depicts him as insincere at the moment of his resurrection. Returned to normal, Crono and two others confront Lavos, destroy it, and return peace to Guardia. After, Crono travels back in time to rescue his mother who haphazardly stumbled into a Time Gate.
There are some points where he's shown to have strong romantic feelings for Marle. At one point where he's knocked out, he has a dream where Marle is his wife. The PlayStation, DS, and Windows versions of Chrono Trigger include an FMV scene at the end that shows Crono and Marle getting married. While a second FMV depicts the fall of Guardia Kingdom in the year 1005 A.D, it is unknown what happened to him during this event.
In the entire game, Crono never talks except in Ending 12: Memory Lane.
It is possible that he and Marle are still alive during the events of Chrono Cross, as Doan (Crono and Marle's descendent) still exists in the new timeline of the year 2300 A.D. although it's also possible that both of them died in the fall of Guardia, but were survived by any children that they may have had during their five years of marriage.
Chrono Cross
Crono's fate is alluded to in Radius's statement about the Kingdom of Guardia is no longer being peaceful. Like Marle, he is very likely alive as referenced in Lucca's letter about her friends. Three times in this timeline, a version of him appears as one of the Ghost Children along with Marle and Lucca. The first time, he states that the future in which Earth is ruined by Lavos is going to be brought back into being due to the interference of Serge, who caused the Home World and Another World split. The second time is in an illusory space at Terra Tower, in which Belthasar enlightens Serge's party about some of the affairs of the Dragons. Crono's final appearance in Chrono Cross comes immediately before the final battle of the game. Crono tells Serge that Wazuki was turned into Lynx by FATE, and along with his fellow "Ghosts," the other two members of the original time-traveling group, implores Serge to destroy Lavos once and for all.

Dactyl:Dactyls are a form of transport in the Prehistory era of Chrono Trigger. They are winged reptiles that can be ridden. The chief of Laruba Village keeps the secret to riding Dactyls. When Ayla prepares to assault Tyranno Lair, she uses Dactyls to reach the mountaintop keep. Crono is able to use dactyls freely in Prehistory after defeating the Tyranno Lair. In the game, dactyls function like the Wings of Time (obtained much later) by allowing Crono to fly around the world and traverse oceans, mountains, and other barriers they could not cross on foot.
Epoch: The Epoch can access any of the key time eras in Chrono Trigger. The party initially seeks it after being sealed out of the Antiquity time period by Schala, following the advice of Gaspar. It does not rely on pre-existing Gates to operate. Once aboard the Epoch, Crono can access the Time Gauge. This gauge dominates the console of the Epoch and allows the pilot to select a destination time period Era. The Epoch is theoretically able to travel anywhere in time Era, the areas of note that the party usually travel to with it are Prehistory (65,000,000 BC), the Antiquity (12,000 BC), the Middle Ages (600 AD), the Present (1000 AD), the Apocalypse (1999 AD), the Future (2300 AD), and even the End of Time. At first, it operates the same way that the Gates do, depositing the travelers at the same physical location in different eras in time. This limits its use as a spatial transport. As shown in a cutscene, the Epoch possesses engines that cause it to hover in mid-air. The ship creates a time distortion directly in front of it, and the massive rockets at the rear of the ship propel it into the distortion. This has the effect of propelling the ship and its passengers forward, although they do not move in space at all. When the Epoch arrives at its destination in time, the lift engines shut down, lowering the Epoch to the ground in the same physical location. At a certain point in their adventure, the party loses the Epoch to Dalton. He modifies the ship with technology aboard the Blackbird, giving it the ability to fly. After he is defeated, the party regains use of the now flight-enabled Epoch. Using it, the time travelers can access any era or location in any point in time, which is necessary for certain side quests as well as reaching the Black Omen at any point in history.
Standard Tactics: Crono's style of fighting is mixed with sword fighting and his magic element, with equipment he uses to defend from various physical attacks and magical spells. Crono is naturally better fighting with a team so he normally will summon his friends across time to help him in combat and do various team attacks. If the enemy proves very powerful he might use the Epoch to ram it.
Weaknesses: As Crono's Magic element is Lightning/Heaven/Light, he takes high damage from Shadow element attacks. Though this is mitigated by various armors and headgears.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
*Sword Slash: Crono runs up to the enemy striking them fiercely with his katana.
Critical Hit: Crono jumps over to the enemy and hits them twice with his sword dealing devastating damage.
Counter-Attack: When equipped with certain accessories Crono will counter when an enemy attacks him without taking up a turn.
*Cyclone: Cyclone is a versatile skill, able to be combined at some point in the game with all of the characters (except Magus). It is used as part of four double techniques and four triple techniques. Crono leaps into a group of enemies, spinning his sword around very quickly, striking them multiple times. It strikes one main enemy (signified by the solid cursor) and nearby enemies in a circle (signified by blinking cursors).
Wind Slash: Wind Slash is Crono's 2nd-level Tech, Crono brandishes his sword, and swings it along the ground, sending an air shockwave along a line of enemies. It strikes one main enemy (signified by the solid cursor) and enemies in a the line formed by it and Crono (signified by blinking cursors).
Lightning: Lightning is Crono's 3rd-level Tech and his first magic one. Crono raises his arms, the wind ruffling his clothes, small golden sparks floating up from him into the sky. The screen goes suddenly dark as a bolt of lightning shoots out of the sky and strikes the target.

Frenzy: Frenzy is Crono's 7th-level Tech in Chrono Trigger. In it, Crono hits his target 4 times. It is his strongest non-magical Tech. Crono jumps and starts moving quickly around the opponent leaving behind afterimages striking the enemy 4 times in succession.
Luminaire: Luminaire is Crono's 8th-level Tech. It is the most powerful magic spell in the game. Levitating into the air, Crono spreads his arms. A green dome swells from the center of the screen and rises. At its optimal size, the screen flashes white and the dome dissipates, causing damage to all foes on screen.
*Aura Whirl: Aura Whirl is Crono and Marle's 1st-level Double Tech. Marle puts her healing Aura around Crono as he begins to spin it around the battlefield restoring a small amount of HP to all allies.
Ice Sword: Ice Sword is a Double Tech in Chrono Trigger used by Crono and Marle. In the move, Marle slowly floats up into the air, preparing an ice spell. Meanwhile, Crono readies his Cleave technique. Crono then leaps into the air and Marle sends her magic to Crono's blade as he comes down on the target, encasing it in a large ice crystal. The target then receives a large amount of Water damage.
Ice Sword II: Ice Sword II is a Tech used by Crono and Marle. In the move, Marle slowly floats up into the air, preparing an ice spell. Meanwhile, Crono readies his Cleave technique. Crono then leaps into the air and Marle sends her magic to Crono's blade as he comes down on the target, encasing it in a large ice crystal, immediately after, chrono uses his frenzy technique, cutting the ice crystal into four slices that slide horizontally.
