Other

Standard Tactics: As Steve or Alex are controlled entirely by the players, they are a wild card in their actions, though through the usage of trailers, their fighting styles normally have them use swords and bows in combat.

Weaknesses: If Steve or Alex are hungry, they are vulnerable in combat and cannot self-heal. Armor has a "toughness" factor that determines what amount of damage can be reduced per hit. If lowered, the incoming attack will hit with more power, thus causing more overall damage to Steve/Alex.

Note

  • Do not attempt to upgrade Steve to Tier 2 or higher based on the end poem. The end poem has been directly confirmed to be metaphorical and not an actual addition to the Minecraft lore, with beings such as The Entities never being referenced again and the very author of the poem himself saying this is merely a metaphorical journey. Even if we were to assume this is legitimate, this would mean that Minecraft is completely featless, as it's just a regular dream.
  • Do not attempt to upgrade Steve and Alex under the impression that they can carry an infinite amount of blocks with no effort. This is due to the Dimensional Storage ability most fictional characters with an inventory have, and we visibly see Minecraft characters shrink blocks down to store them away.

  1. I couldn't tunnel through stone with my bare fists.
Could I? Don't assume anything, I reminded myself, raising my hand to the smooth gray wall. You already have a "distance punch" superpower. Maybe that punch can break rocks.
    Turns out it can't.
"OW, OW, OW," I yelped with each hit. Yes, it's true this world lets flesh do damage to solid rocks, and yes, after battering for a while it did look like I was making progress. The grey cube didn't crack, though, not like it would in my world. What I saw was little, multicolored mini blocks spreading out from my impact point. But the second I rested my bruised, aching hands, all the damage to the rock sealed right back up
