Robo is a robot originally created to assist humans at the Proto Dome in Chrono Trigger. His real name is Prometheus (プロメテス "Purometesu"?) while his serial number is R-66Y. He uses his robotic arm as a weapon and although Spekkio cannot grant him the power to use magic (Spekkio being unable to properly read his character), Robo can use laser attacks that are similar to Shadow magic and bomb attacks that are similar to Fire magic. He also sports several healing techs. Along with his sturdy physique and high physical damage capabilities, he is the most versatile character in Chrono Trigger.
Having a curious and bright personality, he was rendered dormant by the Apocalypse in 1999 AD, but was found and repaired by Lucca in the year 2300 AD. Upon his reactivation, Robo has no memory of his prior mission and joins the party. Alongside Crono, Robo assists in shutting down the power in Derelict Factory, which controls the power of the nearby domes, and thus permits access to a Gate back to the Present. Within the Factory, Robo shares a not-so-warm reunion with the R-Series, his former comrades and mechanical brothers. Their combined effort damages Robo severely, but Crono and his friends succeed in preventing the R-Series Robots from causing permanent damage.
Entering the Time Gate with his companions, he accidentally ends up at the End of Time where Gaspar explains only three beings can travel through a Gate simultaneously to avoid ending up there.
After the resurrection of Crono atop Death Peak, Robo learns that he originated from Geno Dome, a robot-producing Factory east of the Derelict Factory and isolated on an island. There, he is punished by his corrupted maker, Mother Brain, for having sympathy for humans, and he meets his long-lost companion robot Atropos XR. For the first time since Lucca reactivated him, he remembers his true function was to survey and service humans and prevent Mother Brain from spreading her poisonous tyranny to the other robots.
In the Middle Ages, Robo volunteers to spend four hundred years restoring Fiona's Forest. During this time, Robo ponders the existence of an Entity, a being who seemingly guided Crono and his friends through time the intended purpose of intervening in affairs the Entity grieves. He explains his theory to the party when reunited outside the Forest Shrine in 1000 AD.
After defeating Lavos, Crono's companions return to their own periods. Lucca and Robo share a touching farewell, the latter explaining that Lucca had shown him the meaning of human emotion. Thereafter, he procrastinates entering the Gate back to the Future, fearing that because he toyed with time, so to speak, he would cease to exist in his original time period. However, in the most common ending of Chrono Trigger, Robo still exists in the new timeline and as the Epoch is searching for Crono's mother, he and Atropos XR are seen overlooking a more beautiful landscape (as Lavos didn't destroy it in 1999 AD).

Dactyl:Dactyls are a form of transport in the Prehistory era of Chrono Trigger. They are winged reptiles that can be ridden. The chief of Laruba Village keeps the secret to riding Dactyls. When Ayla prepares to assault Tyranno Lair, she uses Dactyls to reach the mountaintop keep. Crono is able to use dactyls freely in Prehistory after defeating the Tyranno Lair. In the game, dactyls function like the Wings of Time (obtained much later) by allowing Crono to fly around the world and traverse oceans, mountains, and other barriers they could not cross on foot.
Epoch: The Epoch can access any of the key time eras in Chrono Trigger. The party initially seeks it after being sealed out of the Antiquity time period by Schala, following the advice of Gaspar. It does not rely on pre-existing Gates to operate. Once aboard the Epoch, Crono can access the Time Gauge. This gauge dominates the console of the Epoch and allows the pilot to select a destination time period Era. The Epoch is theoretically able to travel anywhere in time Era, the areas of note that the party usually travel to with it are Prehistory (65,000,000 BC), the Antiquity (12,000 BC), the Middle Ages (600 AD), the Present (1000 AD), the Apocalypse (1999 AD), the Future (2300 AD), and even the End of Time. At first, it operates the same way that the Gates do, depositing the travelers at the same physical location in different eras in time. This limits its use as a spatial transport. As shown in a cutscene, the Epoch possesses engines that cause it to hover in mid-air. The ship creates a time distortion directly in front of it, and the massive rockets at the rear of the ship propel it into the distortion. This has the effect of propelling the ship and its passengers forward, although they do not move in space at all. When the Epoch arrives at its destination in time, the lift engines shut down, lowering the Epoch to the ground in the same physical location. At a certain point in their adventure, the party loses the Epoch to Dalton. He modifies the ship with technology aboard the Blackbird, giving it the ability to fly. After he is defeated, the party regains use of the now flight-enabled Epoch. Using it, the time travelers can access any era or location in any point in time, which is necessary for certain side quests as well as reaching the Black Omen at any point in history.
Intelligence:Genius (An incredibly intelligent robot from the year 2300 AD, capable of hacking into various futuristic technology and can help the likes of Lucca with her inventions)
Standard Tactics: Robo’s style of fighting is mixed with punching and his techs, with equipment he uses to defend from various physical attacks and magical spells. Robo is naturally better at fighting with a team so he normally will summon his friends across time to help him in combat and do various team attacks. If the enemy proves very powerful he might use the Epoch to ram it.
Weaknesses: Due to being an inorganic being he has no innate magic within him making him have to use different kinds of attacks to replicate magic.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
*Punch: Robo runs up to the enemy striking them fiercely with his arm.
Critical Hit: Robo jumps over to the enemy and hits them with a hard right hook, dealing devastating damage.

Rapid-fire Fist: Barrage an enemy with rocket punches.
Proximity Bomb: Blast surrounding enemies. It has a large range, being able to strike enemies relatively far away. As most other "explosive" related techs; it deals fire element damage. This dual tech deals fire damage like most other "explosive" techs. It is learned after Lucca and Robo learn Megaton Bomb and Proximity Bomb respectively. Lucca throws a small bomb at Robo, who then absorbs the energy spins around while adding his own proximity bomb energy to it. Robo then allows for the energy to build up around him, and then releases it in an outwards wave.
*Frog Launcher: Launch Frog to strike an enemy. Robo punches his chest and Frog jumps atop him, who is grabbed and thrown at the targeted enemy with his broadsword on his hands. A blue line appears, starting from Robo, crossing through the target and going to the edge of the battlefield. Frog goes off-bounds and reappears at the top of the screen
Bubble Breath: Drop Robo on an enemy. Frog uses water to raise Robo in the air. Then the bubble hovers over to the enemy and then it pops over the enemy and Robo falls on the enemy.
Cure Wave: Restores a large amount of HP to all allies. When cast several yellow sparkles surrounds Robo, restoring large amounts of Hit Points to all allies.
*Boogie Robo: Inflict Stop on all enemies. Alya spins around while Robo moves about with a spotlight shining on Ayla, the two of them shifting all around the screen. Clocks appear on all enemies and they get inflicted with the Stop status.

The screen turns a light golden hue as three angels descend and give each of them a blessing, enabling them to auto-revive once in that battle.
*Ring of Fire: Ring of Fire is a Triple Tech that is used by Crono, Robo, and Lucca in Chrono Trigger. It combines Cleave, Fire II, and Laser Spin to create a strong powerful tech. She then sends a double dose of flames to the boys and ignites their bodies, turning Max Cyclone into a fire-elemental attack as rings of flames emit outward from them. Enemies adjacent to Robo receive a large amount of Fire damage.
*Triple Attack: Triple Attack is a Triple Tech that is used by Crono, Frog, and Robo in Chrono Trigger. It combines X-Strike and Robo Tackle to create a strong powerful tech.
*Twister: Twister is a Triple Tech that is used by Crono, Ayla, and Robo in Chrono Trigger. It combines Cyclone, Tail Spin, and Laser Spin to create a strong powerful tech.
