Dan Heng
Background
Dan Heng is a playable character in Honkai: Star Rail.
The cold and reserved train guard and archivist of the Astral Express. Wielding a spear named Cloud-Piercer, he joined the Express crew to escape his secluded past. His true form si revealed after accepting the residual powers from the previous incarnation of "Imbibitor Lunae", turning him into Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae. Upon accepting the magic horns atop his crown, he must accept all merits and faults attributed to that person, however, he was never himself.
Personality
- General Personality: While March 7th is the happy and cheerful one, Dan Heng is the more serious and astute one, normally trying to act far more mature then the rest of the group. He acts as an older brother figure to March 7th[1].
- Interests: Dan Heng seems to have an interest with collecting and storing the data of the travels on the Astral Express[2].
- Worldview: As a member of the Astral Express, his worldview is similar, viewing life as an adventure and to go to all planets and visit them, this consists of exploring unknown worlds to cotninue the journey ahead, understand the local culture and immerse themselves within it, establish a connection with the new world - rejoice with it and share its fears, and connect worlds together, carving an endless path.
