Summary

Moon Butterfly, also known as Moon the Undaunted, is the 36th Queen of the Kingdom of Mewni, ruling alongside her husband River Butterfly, and the mother of Star Butterfly. She was the previous wielder of the Royal Magic Wand before passing it down to her daughter on her fourteenth birthday.

As of season 4, Moon is no longer queen of Mewni, the throne having been passed from Star to Eclipsa Butterfly, and much of her memory is in fragments as a result of exposure to the Realm of Magic (though it seems to be fully restored by "Ghost of Butterfly Castle").

As of "Moon Remembers", she and River have left the kingdom to start a new life and formed a community of Mewman refugees.

In "Pizza Party", she regains the wand and the title of queen from Eclipsa, but after the age of queens and magic came to an end in "Cleaved", she, once again, is no longer queen.

Star Butterfly is given the wand by her mother, Queen Moon Butterfly when she turned fourteen, and she must protect it while attempting to master its power (which is done by season 3). She has this from Season 1-3.

Intelligence: Genius (As a Queen she'd have natural competency to rule over an entire kingdom, Moon has proven to be proficient with both regular swords and energy swords created with her magic.

Standard Tactics: Moon is more prone to go into her mewberty form and shoot various blast of energy, create energy swords, and do various more magical attacks. These fights are examples.
