In the IMSCARED 2022 Test Build, after turning off all the lights in the Archive and entering the room with the pipes, White Face seemingly speaks to the player, claiming to have missed them and offering a game. The player is prompted to say the speaker's name: Typing "White Face" triggers a laugh imitation of White Face, followed by the Restorer's own laughter. Typing "Restorer" causes the Restorer’s laughter to play. Regardless of the name selected, the Restorer will appear in front of the player, asking them to return to playing through the Test Build. In the Steam Version of the game, after deleting White Face's heart and returning to the Street, a new text file appears in the game's folder with the following message: “ Have you met me? Prove it! If you don't know what I'm talking about, search for me in here: https://mymadnessworks.itch.io/imscared2022test „ After meeting the Restorer in the test build, the player receives a "drift" file, which causes the Restorer to appear in the distance on the left side of the Street. By using the drift file to clip out of bounds, the player can approach her. When close enough, she will turn around, scare the player with a faceless grin, then revert to her friendly smile. She will prompt the player to press the Escape key and read "shore.txt," where she greets the player and introduces herself as a fan of IMSCARED. She shares her intent to breach the canon by digging through the game's files and code and suggests the player communicate with her via the pause menu. When returning to the game, Restorer starts speaking to the player through the pause menu, discussing IMSCARED's potential future. She will then lead the player to the Car Park, offering directions. If the player takes wrong turns, Restorer will grow impatient and appear in front of them with a faceless grin. The player will eventually be led to Restorer’s archive. She wanted to be the game’s tour guide, breaching its canon. No details are available for phase 3, but Restorer suggests the player visit her after each major game update on Steam. Before leaving, Restorer tells the player she’s found a way to turn entities into data and plans to give players the sequel they’ve been waiting for. She bids farewell and disappears into the Well. Later on her Tiktok Account, she makes a couple of post, some of them noting that she cannot give updates as there's nothing yet "blooming". Though she later makes a post noting that IMSCARED is available on android devices, while in a video she is searching for someone (likely a cat as she later states "c'mere kitty" while cat noises can be heard). During this video she also notes how she wasn't expecting the community to miss her that much, saying that she will re-add her interactions with a silent update since people want to see her again. Telling them to hang in there as she shows her face and says "Until new time, Partner!". Her most recent video had her posting on April Fools claiming that spreading lies is always fun, but Ivan is returning home, she says in the post that there are some truths within these lies.

The Restorer seems to have a far less parasocial relationship to The Player then White Face, telling them how to access a secret of the Imscsared 2022 test build and giving clues to The Player through .txt files. She also tells The Player how much she's missed them, pretending to be White Face before tricking The Player and revealing that isn't her and she was merely doing White Face's imitation. • Restorer’s Pin: Revealed in the first digital art of Restorer there is that Ivan shared during an interview, restorer has a pin of White Face, which just goes to show how much of an IMSCARED fan she is.
• Restorer’s TikTok Account: While not commonly known, a TikTok account for restorer was found shortly after an interview that Ivan Zanotti had with the YouTuber Random-1NC on Discord, he mentioned, upon being asked “Do you have any hints or clues about what’s next for IMSCARED other than the Ports, in as vague a way to not spoil anything or even as a riddle people can ponder over while they wait?” That he responded to with, “🤔 I think you should all start searching for a specific TikTok account” which was then found a few hours later by the IMSCARED Discord server, the TikTok being an account “made by restorer” a bit before the 2022 update was announced, as of writing she only has 4 videos up there, all related to IMSCARED, the name of the account is “restorer26” it is currently unknown if the 26 means anything.
• Faceless Restorer: Hidden outside the Labyrinth, across from the mirror, a strange faceless Restorer can be found, interacting with her reveals she acts exactly the same as the statues in the hedge maze, however if you access the map through Loneliness and White.ini, then interacting with her turns your screen fully black, due to the lack of Fog in Loneliness. It is unknown what purpose she serves we do know however, she is intended to be there, as Ivan has confirmed she was intentionally added. Linked with the texture used for this hidden Restorer is another unused Restorer texture that seems to be a WIP version of her eyeless alternative look, it is notably less clean and with a visible shirt collar (much like her test build appearance), it’s unknown if there’s a way to see this texture in-game. This version of her can also be found in the proper Loneliness version of the labyrinth too, however instead of outside the maze, she is inside of it, and cannot be interacted with.

Q: Shouldn't Restorer be universal for scaling to White Face who is capable of creating worlds?

A: Creation does not apply to tier under our system. Along with that, the worlds it creates are all within the digital space. White Face is directly noted as a byte entity observing us and studying our every move and fear. The Restorer even describes IMSCARED as "a sentient program that takes possession of your device".

Q: Shouldn't it be a higher tier under Pseudo Tiering System?

A: Pseudo Tiering System are for verses where the reality in question is treated as essentially an equivalent to reality. In Imscared however, the entire events is treated as the same of a Malware infecting the computer. It's directly noted that the reality of Imscared will never collide with the other one. White Face is directly noted as a byte entity observing us and studying our every move and fear. Thus Pseudo Tiering System would not work here as the series itself acknowledges this as just a powerful virus.
