Background

Dyntos is a supporting character in the Kid Icarus Uprising game. In the second to last chapter, Pit and Palutena seek his help in or to combat Hades by creating the Great Sacred Treasure. He is regarded as the most powerful god in-verse and shows this off by recreating all the armies of the gods for fun and effortlessly recreating the Galactic Sea just to test Pit's worthiness.

Note: Due to Sakurai being the prime developer for both Kid Icarus Uprising and Super Smash Bros., we can take Pit and co's abilities and dialogue as a secondary canon for Kid Icarus's lore since Palutena's guidance stays relative to Kid Icarus's story and even further fleshed it out.

Note 2: Palutena notes in her smash reveal trailer that anything an angel can do, a goddess can do better. This is further proven by her being responsible for most of Pit's powers and abilities and regularly granting him new and unique powers.
