~ Michael at the end of Liberian Girl |
Michael Jackson was a pop singer who was one of the most influential artists in music video history. He was referred to as the "King of Pop", or by his initials MJ. He carried this into various music videos telling different stories, all of them having him stay as Michael Jackson.
This dropdown contains the synopsis of Michael Jackson’s music video plots. |
---|
A portion of the clip is set to Jackson's song "Speed Demon". After filming "Badder", Little Michael and his bodyguards (also young kids) are leaving the set and walk through a cloud of smoke and come out as their regular adult age. As he exits the set, he is spotted by tourists and they suddenly begin to chase him for an autograph. In an attempt to avoid the overzealous fans and the interviewers (including camera-happy Japanese tourists accompanied by stereotyped "Oriental" music, the press, and even The Noid) plus some gunslingers (after stumbling upon the filming of a Western helmed by a director resembling Steven Spielberg), Jackson soon disguises himself as a rabbit named Spike, using a costume from one of the film sets (imbued with animatronic properties using Claymation, giving a similar combined-media effect as Who Framed Roger Rabbit, but with more obvious bluescreening), but ends up taunting the fans into chasing him once they realize it is him. Michael steals a bicycle which then turns into a motorcycle once he hits the highway in order to flee, with the fans and paparazzi (now also appearing in Claymation form) giving chase in various other, more cartoonish vehicles. During the chase, he morphs into other celebrities, namely Sylvester Stallone, Tina Turner and Pee-wee Herman, with the bike also briefly morphing (into a jackhammer, stop sign, waterski, and jet pack) in repeatedly unsuccessful attempts to throw the fans off. After a long chase, the fans/press are finally thwarted by crashing into a giant (Claymation) cop and are arrested. Jackson finally then manages to escape and rides off to a desert. He takes off his rabbit costume and it then suddenly comes to life and challenges him to an extended dance-off. In the end, a passing traffic cop interrupts Jackson to point out he is in a "No Dancing Zone", and when Michael turns to show him that he was competing with the rabbit, he sees that the rabbit has disappeared. The cop then sarcastically asks for Jackson's autograph (as opposed to "signature") on the ticket. Just as Jackson is preparing to leave, the rabbit's head materializes on a nearby rocky crag, which then nods to him and smiles. The segment begins with three homeless children (Sean, Katie, and Zeke) sneaking through a big city to see their friend Michael going out for the evening. As Michael stands in front of the door, he notices a falling star before he is ambushed by men with machine guns. The film then backtracks to show Michael and the children playing in a meadow in happier times. As they are playing, their dog Skipper runs away, and as Michael and Katie look for him they uncover the lair of Frankie Lideo (the last name was an alternate spelling of the last name of Jackson's then-manager Frank Dileo), a.k.a. Mr. Big, a drug-dealing mobster with an army of henchmen. He wants to get the entire population of Earth addicted to drugs, starting with children. As Mr. Big continues work on his operation, he discovers that Michael and Katie are spying on his operation. The story returns to the ambush in front of Michael's apartment. Unknown to the gangsters, Michael wished on the falling star and escaped the gunfire, leaving only his trench coat. Upon realizing he has escaped again, Mr. Big orders his henchmen to track down Michael with dogs. He is eventually cornered in an alley, where he wishes on another falling star and turns into a Lancia Stratos Zero sports car that mows down several of Mr. Big's henchmen. Michael is pursued through the city streets until he loses the henchmen. Meanwhile, the children scout out Club 30s, where Michael had told them to meet him, and find only an abandoned nightclub. As Jackson arrives, Katie sees a silhouette of him turning back from a car into himself. The door of the club opens with a gust of wind, and Michael walks in to find it filled with men in suits and swing dancers. The children gather outside a window of the club and watch Michael dance to "Smooth Criminal." Mr. Big lays siege to the club and kidnaps Katie. Michael follows them back to Big's lair and ends up surrounded by his henchmen. Mr. Big appears and taunts Michael by threatening to inject Katie with highly addictive narcotics. While Katie manages to wriggle free, Mr. Big decides he has had enough and orders his men to kill Katie first then finish off Jackson, just as a falling star passes by. Michael transforms into a giant robot and kills most of Mr. Big's soldiers, then turns into a spaceship. Mr. Big gets into a large hillside-mounted energy cannon, firing on the spaceship knocking it into a nearby ravine. The children are his next target, but the spaceship returns from the ravine in time to fire a beam in the cannon with Mr. Big inside, destroying it and finishing the villain once and for all. The children watch the ship fly into the night sky with a shower of light. Before Purge was defeated, Space Michael and Channel 5 headquarters were under attack, and he was hypnotized by Shadow in the process. After she saved him, Space Michael teamed up with Ulala, Pudding and several others to put an end to his obsession with ratings and fame, and ultimately was one of the heroes who saved the Galaxy. With the death of Michael Jackson in 2009, Sega presumably retired the Space Michael character out of respect, and limited his appearance in their media, including the Space Channel 5 series. It is unknown what Space Michael’s current living status is. Report 4: Evil in the Galaxy Revealed!
In the Extra Mode version of the Report, Space Michael will only appear if the amount of views Ulala has as she leaves the boardroom is above 89%. Otherwise, Ulala will find three Channel 5 Policebots replacing Space Michael. As stated above, Space Michael was a last minute addition to the game, hence why he didn't have a bigger role. After the fiasco with Chief Blank, Space Michael was the first choice for the new Space Channel 5 Station Chief.

Classification: King of Pop, Ghost, Force of Nature, Moonwalker
Species: Human, Zombie, Werewolf, Alien
Occupation: Musical Artist, Movie Star

Alignment: Chaotic Good (Michael's morals vary greatly on the video, though he always appears heroic, such as when he turned a homeless man into a rich person[1], gave his popcorn box to someone else when leaving the movie theater[2], though he has some more non-heroic acts, such as being a con man[3], though even there he will do acts such as giving flowers to people[4]. In other videos he is shown to be a smooth criminal, though his morality is moreso ambiguous here as he only attacks those attacking him[5]. In Moonwalker, Michael is saving every child on Earth that was kidnapped[6]. In Bad, Michael works with some hoodlums, but soon realizes this is not the right way and saves a old man that was going to be jumped by a group of thugs[7])
Key: Regular | Mecha Jackson
Tier: 9-B, Higher with Weapons | At least 9-B
Dimensionality: 3-D
Attack Potency: Wall level (Crushed a cue ball to the point that it turned into dust[8]. Casually broke a tree in half as a werewolf[9], all of the zombies casually broke through different parts of the house[10]. Michael's attacks send enemies flying off screen), Higher with Weapons (A gun shot sent a man flying through a wall leaving a human shaped hole[11], which gets these results) | At least Wall level (Easily destroys and decimates enemies in this state)

Lifting Strength: Superhuman (Casually ripped an air vent off its hinges[14]) | At least Superhuman
Travel Speed: Superhuman (Outran two mopeds[15] which typical speeds reach around 28 to 30 miles per hour, these mopeds were also racing him on his motorcycle. Out ran two men on horses[16] who can run from 20 to 30 miles per hour), Higher with Motorcycle (His motorcycle moved so fast, it casually outsped several cars on a highway[17]), Far Higher as a car (Moved so fast he flew briefly[18]) | Superhuman

Range: Standard Melee Range, Hundreds of Meters with Firearms & through size as Mecha Jackson, up to Planetary with Abilities (Caused a massive storm around the planet that rewinded time[21]. Noted in his in-game profile in Space Channel 5 that he saved the planet from crisis using his dance energy to prevent something that would've led to the Earth's destruction[22])
Intelligence: Genius (Trained pilots in the flight academy[23]. Shown to be a skilled con man[24]. Escaped all of the Egyptian Guards in the palace[25])
Standard Tactics: Michael will normally incorporate dancing into his combat, if the situation is extremely serious then he will transform into Mecha Jackson.
Weaknesses: Nothing notable.
Note: Michael Jackson's music videos do not have any direct canon, with Michael himself constantly showing to be able to transform into different beings and his world overall in most music videos being wacky, along with this, no matter the music video, he is always just Michael Jackson and never playing anyone else, due to this all music videos are compiled together as canon. Along with this, Michael Jackson Moonwalker on genesis is an adaptation of the movie Moonwalker which connects all of his music videos at that time period together, thus the game is canon, and due to the game being canon, other appearances such as his Space Channel 5 self is canon as it's a continuation from Moonwalker[117].
