~ Oushou to the soul in Yamcha's body

Background

Oushou is a normal boy who ended up in the "Reincarnation Game" as Chiaotzu. Oushou was the name he utilized online.

This dropdown contains the synopsis of Oushou’s story. Read at your own risk as you may be spoiled otherwise!

Background
Oushou was as avid fan of the Dragon Ball series and a player of Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle. He was highly skilled enough at the game that he won many tournaments.

Reincarnation Game
At some point Oushou was reincarnated into the Dragon World as Chiaotzu and used his knowledge of the series to get by. However it continually ended badly for him each time, having numerous attempts at going through life as Chiaotzu.

Eventually deciding he'd had enough, he chose to go another route and planned to use his knowledge combined with his psychic powers in order to rule over the world.

Cell Saga
Oushou's presence was sensed by Kami, who likened it to that of the soul inhabiting Yamcha. When Oushou was confronted by the reincarnated Yamcha, the two battled with Oushou losing after Yamcha asked him what Yamcha's birthday is, causing him to let his guard down and be struck.

Yamcha attempts to use the Evil Containment Wave to trap Oushou in a jar but chooses not to at the last moment after remembering who Oushou was in his own world. The two then discuss their love for the series which causes Oushou to break down and cry and vows to change his ways.

Yamcha suggests that they use Fusion so they can assist in the Cell Games and Oushou agrees with idea believing they could possibly take down a Cell Jr. but realises it is not possible as they do not have identical energy levels or similar body types. However, Oushou remembers Ex-Fusion from Dragon Ball Fusions which allows anyone to fuse and the two head off to see Bulma who creates the device for them.

The two fuse successfully but their appearance is less than desirable so instead decided not to get involved and to never fuse again.

It is then revealed that Oushou along with Yamcha were just pawns in a game involving Beerus and Champa to pass the time.

Codex Statistics

Tier: At least 7-A

Attack Potency: At least Metropolis level (Fought against the soul possessing Yamcha[1], who trained with Nail, giving him a power level over 10,000,[2], along with this he fought and held off against Saiyan Saga Vegeta[3], making him superior to Nappa, who casually destroyed a city and stood within the blast without having any damage)

Durability: At least Metropolis level, Higher with Guard Up (Ki allows a fighter to extend beyond their bodies limits, allowing them to even block attacks that would otherwise kill them from raising their guard), Lower with Ki Control (Higher level users can lower their own durability to allow people far below them to fatally wound them)

Striking Strength: At least Metropolis Class

Lifting Strength: At least Class 1 (Superior to Saiyan Saga Goku, who before his training with King Kai is able to barely move around and jump in gravity that multiplies his weight by ten times, where he's naturally 62 kg, thus making him 620 kg on King Kai's planet and after training with King Kai, he is able to move around naturally in ten times gravity)

Travel Speed: High Hypersonic (Superior to Saiyan Saga Son Goku with Goku being capable of traveling over a million of kilometers in two days which results in these speeds)

Combat Speed: High Hypersonic

All ki attacks should be comparable to Goku's kamehameha, which reached all the way to the sun)

Intelligence: Genius Intelligence (Possesses the combat skills and intellect of Chiaotzu, along with his own intellect, allowing him to be unaffected by Chiaotzu's shortcomings, such as him being bad at math)

Powers and Techniques

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Chi Manipulation & Ki Manipulation (All beings in Dragon Ball have ki, the very life force energy of all characters, ki allows a fighter to extend beyond their bodies limits, allowing them to even block attacks that would otherwise kill them from raising their guard, higher level users can lower their own durability to allow people far below them to fatally wound them. A users ki aura can exert itself as a weapon to attack), Attack Reflection (All Ki users are able to reflect attacks just by being stronger than their opponent. Examples include, Nappa deflecting a masenko from Son Gohan, Son Gohan being able to bounce back the spirit bomb, Son Goku deflecting a crusher ball from Jeice, Frieza deflecting a Final Burst Cannon from Vegeta, Son Goku reflecting multiple death beams back to back from Frieza, and Future Trunks being able to completely repel an energy blast with his hand from a Frieza Soldier just by being much stronger than them), Homing Attack (Ki users can create attacks that will home in and chase a target forever), Mind Manipulation (Characters can link their ki together and train within each other’s mind enacting in image training), Power Absorption & Transferal (Ki users can transfer their ki to others and absorb the ki given to them from others), Aura (He can surround himself in an aura of Ki. Has an aura of ki surrounding him whenever he exerts ki), Vibration Manipulation (Powerful ki users can cause the very ground itself to shake when they power up), Intimidation, Metaphysics Manipulation & Pain Manipulation (Spirit Manipulation; Ki is the manifestation of one’s lifeforce, along with the aura giving one the feeling of being crushed, exerting fear into the target, sometimes making them incapable of moving as their body is instinctively stuck due to the sheer difference in power), Energy Manipulation (Ki is the latent power in one's body, this latent power allows them to form and create energy from controlling their ki, which can be used to shoot out energy blast), Explosion Manipulation (Ki attacks can create massive explosions, control the ki to set off a huge explosion under the enemy, or in front of them), Heat Manipulation (Ki user's ki attacks produce heat allowing them to cook and grill animals and raw meat[4][5], along with leaving behind steam after the attacks hit an area, showing its latent heat), Nullification (Attack Nullification; Those with ki can nullify attacks of lesser ki with their ki alone. They can also catch and nullify ki attacks around their level through focusing enough[6]. Power Nullification; Through having greater ki, one can nullify the powers done through ki attacks, such as Frieza being able to nullify a hakai ball[7], which fully destroys a target[8], though he is unable to resist a hakai ball from Toppo due to him being stronger[9], this ability however only works on ki, attacks unrelated, characters cannot resist through being stronger, such as how Vegeta, Krillin, & Son Gohan are unable to resist Guldo's psychic powers, along with even the likes of Son Goku), Forcefield Creation (Ki users such as Cell can generate forcefields around themselves. These forcefields can be expanded, and used to protect others and defend against attacks far higher then the user), Super Armor (Through releasing one's ki, they enter a state known as "Hyper Mode", in this state they do not flinch from weak melee attacks), Self-Destruction (Ki users in Dragon Ball are able to release all of the energy within them to cause a massive self-destruction of energy that normally kills the user and turns them into dust though one can control it to surviving but having no stamina or energy left), Light Manipulation (Ki can be used as a flash of light), Non-Physical Interaction (Those with ki can block intangible attacks when they focus and notices them[10]), Healing (Ki can be used to heal beings, allowing them to survive even with half their torso, it can also heal from near death), Fusionism (Chiaotzu can perform the Fusion Dance).

Limited Resistance to Durability Negation (Ki users can focus their energy to localize an object to a specific spot to stop them from attempting to destroy their organs/insides), Resistance to Poison Manipulation (Can resist poisons through Forcefield Creation[11])
Small Size (Dwarf), Acrobatics, Martial Arts (Displayed martial arts during his fight against Krillin),, Genius Intelligence, Enhanced Senses, Immortality (Reliance on Reincarnation Cycle; Oushou will repeatedly be reborn in the timeline as many times as Beerus and Champa are willing to keep playing their bet. With Oushou even noting that this is the Yamcha's first time[12]), Flight (Could fly around and levitate during his fight against Krillin), Breaking the Fourth Wall (Did a peace sign to the audience), Telekinesis (Able to telekinetically hold users in place used his telekinesis to swap the matches around and did it again for the 23rd Budokai Tournament), Telepathy (Is able to speak telepathically with Tien Shinhan), Extrasensory Perception (Goku has been trained by Mr. Popo in learning to hone his sixth sense to be able to notice people attacking him from behind without using his eyes and feeling the environment around him, other users such as Chiaotzu have learned the ability of ki sensing from training with Kami), Energy Projection (With the dodon pa, a beam of energy that comes from Chiaotzu's finger tips)

Equipment

  • Crane School Uniform: The signature gi of the Crane School.

Notable Techniques

  • Flight: This is the ability to fly using one's ki. Chiaotzu appears to have no trouble controlling his energy and is able to float in the air for longer periods of time than most others.
  • Ki Blast: The most basic form of energy wave.
  • Ki Sense: An ability that allows the user to sense ki and power levels. Learned from Mr. Popo and demonstrated during the Saiyans arrival on Earth.
  • Drill Attack: First, Chiaotzu rapidly spins, and then uses the speed to crash into his opponent with great force, seriously damaging him/her.
  • Dodon Ray: A superheated beam shot from the finger.
  • Dodon Barrage: The user overwhelms the opponent with repeated, rapid-fire blasts from the tip of their finger and finishes with a single powerful Dodon Ray.
  • Super Dodon Blast: This superior variation of the Dodon Ray requires the user to charge up before firing it at the opponent, rather than shoot multiple, weaker Dodon Rays. It also creates a much larger explosion upon impact.
  • Afterimage Technique: An ability to move so swiftly that an image of the user is left behind. Chiaotzu is shown doing this technique along with Tien, Krillin and Yamcha whilst jogging through a forest on their long journey to Korin's Tower.
  • Telepathy: It is a way to communicate with others using one's mind. Users can also read the minds of the ones they communicate with, similar to telepathic eavesdropping.
  • Telekinesis: A technique that allows the user to manipulate objects and other people with the power of one's mind.
    • Psychic Attack: Chiaotzu holds out his hands with palms out (sometimes in a Masenko-like position) and converts his psychic energy into an energy bubble in his hands. He then fires the sphere at the opponent, and it explodes on them, blasting them away.
    • Psychic Rock Throw: The performer uses telekinesis to lift a medium-sized to large boulder (tiles or debris) from the ground nearby, and then throws it at the opponent, inflicting moderate damage.
  • Explosive Wave: A technique where the user bursts out ki from all over their body in order to repel the opponents around them.

Other

Standard Tactics: Unlike the original Chiaotzu, he uses far more deadly telekinesis tricks and surprise attacks on his opponent.

Weaknesses: Due to the nature of ki draining stamina and energy, Dragon Ball characters ki usage requires them to usually use their higher levels of energy in short bursts, allowing them to not be able to tank or die to far lower attacks such as attacks that have destroyed the planets of several worlds. Unlike the original Chiaotzu, seems to carry none of his weaknesses, however, asking him Dragon Ball quesions will make him stop his attack.

Note: Some clips used on the profile come from an anime or movie due to the fact that some abilities from ki use shouldn't function much differently from how they can in canon, along with this sometimes the anime version/video game version of a scene will be used for cleaner visuals. Toriyama himself directly overlooks scenes in the anime and movies and gives Toei the thumbs up[13].

Trivia

  • Though Oushou is mentioned to have won numerous Dokkan Battle tournaments, there are no direct PvP modes in the game, although if one considers the World Tournament mode, it is possible that the Oushou typically got the top ranking (local, worldwide, etc.) whenever he participated in a World Tournament.
