Pre-Reincarnation
One day when he tried to get a good look at a girl's skirt, he accidentally fell down the stairs in which resulted in the boy's death. The boy's soul was caught and reincarnated into a Reincarnation Game created by Beerus and Champa as Yamcha to participate against "Oushou", the reincarnated being that is known as Chiaotzu. Dragon Ball Z
While resting inside the spaceship, Bulma calls him and says that the two Saiyans are on their way. The boy suddenly realizes that the time-frame is different in the manga and asks to use the Namekian Dragon Balls. Porunga is summoned and the boy uses the first of three wishes to warp back to Earth. After returning to Earth, Yamcha rushes to the battlefield and defeats all the Saibamen. He then squares off against Nappa and beats him with no trouble at all. Yamcha then teams up with Goku against Vegeta. The boy has a hard time against the Saiyan prince until realizing Vegeta's bingo dance was when Beerus was on Earth. He distracts Vegeta by calling out Beerus' name and knocks him into the air for Goku to fire a charged-up Kamehameha Wave. Vegeta is defeated and escapes. The boy attempts to shoot down the Attack Ball, but stops upon realizing future events would require the reformed Vegeta (i.e. Future Trunks), and decides not to. Since the Saibamen and Saiyans were defeated compared to the original timeline, none of the Z-Fighters die in the battle. The boy begins to worry about the Earthlings characters being far surpassed in the battles later on in the story against villains such as Frieza, Cell, and Majin Buu. Unknown to everybody else, Kami senses Oushou's mysterious presence, likening it to that of the boy's soul and implying they come from the same world. Following the appearance of Future Trunks and his warning of the Androids, Yamcha is aware that it is almost time for him to lose Bulma to Vegeta and so vows to make a move on her before it is too late. Requiring advice, he seeks out Krillin at Kame House who advises him to change his haircut and get more stylish clothing. Upon doing so in the city, he comes across two criminals holding a girl at hostage. Yamcha effortlessly takes them down but rejects the girls offer for a date. At Capsule Corporation, Yamcha becomes nervous at seeing Bulma and her interaction with Vegeta. He follows Vegeta outside and without warning leaps into a fight with him though he is easily beaten. Laying on the floor, Yamcha decides he can finally get over Bulma and tells Vegeta to take good care of her. 10 years later, the boy heads off to the Cell Games arena where Goku and the others were, but instead takes a different course of action by instead confronting an opponent who is reincarnated in the body of Chiaotzu. Yamcha tells Chiaotzu that he always knew something was up with his actions and behavior and the latter admits that he plans on ruling the Dragon Ball World. Soon, the two reincarnated souls fought against one-another. Chiaotzu used his Telekinesis powers to hurl rocks at Yamcha, but the latter counters with his Wolf Fang Fist; just then Chaiotzu uses the Dodon Ray to shoot Yamcha at point-blank range. Yamcha quickly eats a Senzu Bean as Chiatozu moves in for the kill and dodges just in time. Having little choice in regards of not killing an ally nor will the other soul listen to reason, Yamcha uses a capsule to summon a jar to use the Evil Containment Wave in order to seal the latter away; it nearly worked until he becomes too exhausted to seal away Chaiotzu. Reminiscing the fight between Chiaotzu and Krillin, the boy asks the latter of his birth-date, with him guessing wrong, allowing Yamcha the advantage. The battle ends with the person inhabiting Chiaotzu's body realizing the error of his ways; the two souls peacefully conversed and realized how much they have in common regarding the Dragon Ball world, as well as the idea of spending the rest of their lives in the bodies of Yamcha and Chiaotzu respectively. Following their battle, Yamcha suggests to Oushou that they try using Fusion. Oushou thinks it is a good idea but realises that they need to have near identical energy levels and body types for it to work. Oushou remembers Ex-Fusion from the video game Dragon Ball Fusions in which Bulma created a special type of arm-band that allowed anyone to fuse. The two head off to Kame House to meet with Bulma who creates the arm bands in just thirty minutes. The two successfully pull off the fusion and are overjoyed at the power they now wield and decide to head for the Cell Games Arena. Before doing so they wonder to go by the name Yamzu or Chaocha and take a look in the mirror to see how the fusion turned out. Seeing the less than desirable result, they defuse and decide to give up on fusion entirely. The scene then shifts, revealing that Beerus and Champa were playing a game of reincarnation and their game ended in a tie (with Whis and Vados standing besides them). The two Gods of Destruction bickered and destroyed their game; Whis simply returns the two souls back to their original world. The boy wakes up standing outside of his school with his friend informing him of the stairs incident. The boy waves his hand that summons a gust of wind that lifts up a female student's skirt, and he wonders about the ability. The boy's friend asks how he did that, but dismisses it as some form of coincidence. The final chapter closes while implying that the boy had retained some powers from his time in the Dragon Ball Universe (with the original image of Yamcha besides him). |

Trained with Nail, giving him a power level over 10,000,[6]) | At least Metropolis level (Fought against a soul possessing reincarnated Chiaotzu[7])
Durability: Wall level, Higher with Guard Up (Ki allows a fighter to extend beyond their bodies limits, allowing them to even block attacks that would otherwise kill them from raising their guard) | Metropolis level, Higher with Guard Up, Lower with Ki Control (Higher level users can lower their own durability to allow people far below them to fatally wound them) | At least Metropolis level, Higher with Guard Up, Lower with Ki Control

- Ultra Divine Water: Used to prepare to against the Saiyans.
- Azure Dragon Sword: Used against Great Ape Vegeta.
- Metamo-Ring: A device created by Bulma (as a result of Oushou remembering her Timespace Rift counterpart invented the device in Dragon Ball Fusions) that allows two beings to perform EX-Fusion by performing the Fusion Dance while both are wearing one.
- Gi (Turtle School): The orange Gi that Yamcha usually wears, which was given to him during his time under Master Roshi’s tutelage. It has the insignia of the Turtle School on it.
- Bandit Garbs: The green outfits that Yamcha wore during his time as a bandit, complete with a red headband. He eventually abandoned this costume when he was taught by Master Roshi.
- Weighted Clothing: This is clothing that Yamcha wears under his usual Gi, much like Goku does. They have built-in weights, specifically made for training, so that Yamcha can move much faster when they’re removed.
Notable Techniques
- Flight: With a mastery of Ki control, Yamcha is able to fly at incredibly high speeds.
- Ki Blast: Using Ki, Yamcha can concentrate it into a ball that he uses as a projectile attack.
- Ki Sense: Yamcha is able to detect lifeforms and power levels from far off.
- Ah! Lord Beerus!: A feint that tricks the opponent into looking away, normally by saying that Lord Beerus is right behind them.
- Evil Containment Wave: A sealing technique, which can seal anything in a container if successful.
- Kiai: An invisible wave of ki used to produce powerful shockwaves in order to strike the opponent.
- Saw It Coming: The ability of Yamcha (Reincarnation)'s PJS-31 card in Dragon Ball Heroes, that greatly increase the enemy's Charge Impact speed when attacked.
- Shield Break: A Burst CAA used by Yamcha (Reincarnation)'s PJS-31 card in Dragon Ball Heroes. Increased damage is dealt to the enemy when Yamcha performs a Super Attack, and achieving a Super Burst adds a -50% to the attacked enemy's damage reduction.
- Wolf Fang Fist: Yamcha’s most famous attack, which sees him do a barrage of claw swipes and punches, before finishing by sending the opponent hurtling with a palm strike and a howl.
- Blinding Wolf Fang Fist: Yamcha charges at the foe and kicks them high into the air, before charging power in his palms and rushing at them and blasting right through them.
- Neo Wolf Fang Fist: A much more powerful version of the Wolf Fang Fist, which is amplified in power by his Ki.
- Kamehameha: The iconic move coined by Master Roshi, which Yamcha has adopted for himself. This starts as a blue Ki ball, which is charged in Yamcha’s hands before releasing as an incredibly powerful beam.
- Super Kamehameha: This is an amplified version of the Kamehameha which has a larger and more devastating beam, which Yamcha uses by first bolstering his Ki.
- Spirit Ball: One of Yamcha’s original attacks, which has him hold out his hand facing upwards and form a large yellow Ki ball within it. He then launches this at the enemy, and can control its trajectory completely with the movement of his hands.
- Super Spirit Ball: Called an “Extra Large Spirit Ball” by Yamcha himself, this is simply a larger and more powerful version of the original, which he uses when his Ki is bolstered.
- Fusion Dance: This is a technique that Yamcha learned, which allows him to temporarily fuse bodies with another who performs the dance. Usually he does this with Tien.
- Unlock Potential: He has his potential unlocked by both the Ultra Divine Water and later Guru in the spin-off manga, That Time I Got Reincarnated as Yamcha.
- Yamzu/Chaiochu: The result of Yamcha and Chiaotzu using Ex-Fusion. Oushou believes they have the strength to possibly take down a Cell Jr. though based on their appearance they decide to never fuse again.
Other
Standard Tactics: Just like the original Yamcha he opts for hand to hand combat along with ki attacks.
Weaknesses
- Standard Ki Weaknesses: Due to the nature of ki draining stamina and energy, Dragon Ball characters ki usage requires them to usually use their higher levels of energy in short bursts, using a large amount of ki overtime can greatly weaken them to the point that characters far lower then them can actually harm them with attacks. Taking large amounts of damage can greatly deplete a ki users attacks, making it where attacks that would otherwise kill massively weakened characters, only pushes them back. Ki users that are able to ki sense cannot do it when their guard is dropped, such as when Vegeta was able to sneak attack Son Goku during the end of their fight in the Buu Saga. Despite some ki users being able to reach blasts that can destroy planets through charged attacks or techniques, they have not shown to be able to tank such blasts themself, with attacks that have destroyed several planets in the series always killing the character. Even characters such as Majin Buu's body cannot withstand the energy of a planet exploding.
- Unique Weaknesses: Unlike the original Yamcha, seems to carry none of his weaknesses.
Note
- Some clips used on the profile come from an anime or movie due to the fact that some abilities from ki use shouldn't function much differently from how they can in canon, along with this sometimes the anime version/video game version of a scene will be used for cleaner visuals. Toriyama himself directly overlooks scenes in the anime and movies and gives Toei the thumbs up[27].
- The speed scaling for PLs are taken with a grain of salt as there are noticeable times where someone's speed isn't equal to their power, such as Burter being faster then Recoome and Jeice, along with Super Saiyan Grade 3 Trunks having his power greatly increased but his speed decreased.
Trivia
- Though the boy mentions Dokkan Battle tournaments, there are no direct PvP modes in the game, although if one considers the World Tournament mode, it is possible that the boy typically got the top ranking (locals, worldwide, etcetera) whenever Oushou was not also participating in a World Tournament.
