Hey, um... Nah. Uzi? I trust you.
~ V's "sacrifice"
N? N? You're okay? I wasn't - Tessa is Cyn! She's here. N, I don't know how much you remember, but J tricked us. Or, it tricked J, too! N? I'm so sorry. I-I should have been honest with you. I was just so scared for us - for you!
~ V to Cyn disguised as N

Background

Serial Designation V-X00100000, or simply known as V, is the tritagonist of Murder Drones.

Formerly a Worker Drone, V was converted into a Disassembly Drone by Cyn and sent to Copper 9 to kill Worker Drones under the guise of destroying runaway AI, as ordered by JCJenson.

When her colleague and past love interest, N, teams up with the rebellious Worker Drone, Uzi Doorman, V initially conflicts with them. However, the trio soon encounter the Absolute Solver, a powerful artificial intelligence that has a connection to Uzi and is tied to both N and V’s pasts.

This dropdown contains the synopsis of Serial Designation V’s story. Read at your own risk as you may be spoiled otherwise!

Pre-Series

V is a sadistic Disassembly Drone who, in her past, was once a regular Worker Drone brought in by Tessa to repurpose her as a friend and maid at Elliott Manor, where she lived with N, J, and the Absolute Solver possessing Cyn. It is implied through flashbacks that around this time, V and N developed a romantic interest in each other. However, after she became a Disassembly Drone, the two became close friends instead and V doesn't feel love for him anymore.

V was among the first of her fellow manor Workers to have been corrupted with Solver powers by the titular AI, soon helping it massacre a gala at the mansion and eventually destroy the Earth. Afterwards, V was rebuilt by the Solver to be a Disassembly Drone, and together with clones of N and J, a copy of V was sent to Copper 9 to eliminate all Workers found there.

PILOT

V makes her first appearance in a flashback with N, in which she is violently killing a Worker Drone and the rest of its family. She laughs maniacally and states that she still feels nothing. After, N tries to start small-talk with her by commenting on the planet's toxic death storm, but V promptly snaps, "Oh god! Who are you?" before flying away.

Back in the present, she arrives at the Disassembly Drone lair, spotting Uzi attempting to run away before stating "Yo! We got a worker out there I kinda want to practice balloon animal shapes with!". After saying this, V looks around the Spire and asks what happened, to which J replies that N must have tripped and gone offline. After J rebooted N's systems, N hurriedly ran away to retrieve and destroy Uzi's railgun. A flag sticks out from V's hand, reading "LITERALLY SO INSANELY SUSPICIOUS."

She reappears after N manages to get through the doors of the Worker Drones Bunker. She realizes that the ventilation shafts can take them right through the last door and flies into it to kill some Worker Drones. V is about to kill Thad when both N and Uzi arrive. A fight ensues between V and N while Uzi fights J. During the battle, N gets pinned down by V and sees that Uzi is about to get killed by J. He licks V's blade to disorient her, to which V expresses "Ew! What the hell?!" before N kicks her into the ground. V then gets tied up by N with her tail, and N takes her away with him as he leaves with Uzi back to the Landing Pod.

Heartbeat

V appears in N's dream (actually a flashback) where she and N are Worker Drone servants at a mansion. V bumps into N, and they then exchange a spark at their hands as both of them touch. V and N look nervously at each other before J suddenly kicks N, interrupting the interaction.

In the present, V is inside the pod with Uzi, chained up and blowing bubbles. After Uzi shatters a mirror because of the Absolute Solver, V calls it "weird and concerning." V would later question Uzi's innocence when the latter wishes to kill all humans in an attempt to provoke Uzi. A fight almost ensues, but N quickly pulls Uzi away from V.

After Uzi and N's fight with Eldritch J, N returns to the pod feeling upset, during which V asks why she is being punished and states she hates his normal personality. As N remains silent, and despite her words, V briefly shows sympathy for him and adjusts her broken chains to make them look intact. Though annoyed, she remains in the pod to accompany N. At around this time, a certain worker drone is shown staring at a printout of a photo of V.

The Promening

V is in the pod with N and two human skeletons (one wearing a tuxedo and the other wearing a dress) that N brought as per V's request. V explains her plan to trick Uzi into letting both N and herself into the prom so she can kill everyone there for "prom murder," but N refuses to let V go through with it.

After N tells her about J's eldritch transformation and the dream he had about his past, V worriedly asks him to stop prying into those matters and says that if he lets her go to the prom, she and N will only kill what is necessary to survive. N then asks V if she is hiding anything and what is it that she knows; V responds by slicing N's head off mid-sentence, stating that she knows "what's best for you, even if you hate me for it."

With her chain broken, she steals the dress from one of the skeletons and heads to the bunker to kill all the Worker Drones at the prom. V arrives at the bunker, where Lizzy lets her inside. At the prom, V flies down from the ceiling and lands on the prom stage in her red dress, which shocks and scares many students there. V is introduced by Lizzy and then proclaims her as the prom queen by default since the other contestants (who were killed by Doll) have disappeared.

Lizzy then tells her fellow students that V has changed and is no longer a threat and that the two have been hanging. V then starts to walk forward to the microphone while talking about the gullible nature of the Worker Drones. She is about to go on a murderous rampage before realizing she is the prom queen. Upon realizing this, V decides to instead murder the students after the prom (justifying it to herself saying it's extra sinister this way) and walks up to the microphone to give a speech.

Suddenly, N and Uzi arrive through the roof thinking they need to stop V from murdering the students - only to be surprised when she's not doing so. Lizzy then decides to betray Doll and yells to V to escape before the latter kills her. Doll suddenly uses her own Absolute Solver powers to pry wires from under the stage and force them through V's arms, pinning her in place.

Trapped, Doll forces V to remember the murder of Doll's parents (that V committed) and then stabs another wire through her chest. V manages to free her right arm and begins shooting at Doll with her submachine gun hand. However, her attempt is futile, as her bullets are deflected by Doll. Doll then throws a cleaver at her, slicing V's arm off.

She forces a fan blade off the roof and throws it at V, but N knocks it away before it can harm her. Uzi then tries to reason with Doll, stating that fighting won't get them anywhere. Doll is seemingly unaffected by these words and is only focused on killing V. Because Uzi and N are in the way, she decides to kill all three at once by throwing two other fan blades at them, but N pushes Uzi out of the way. This resulted in both him and V being dismembered instead.

Both N and V are retrieving their body parts as Uzi fights Doll. When N grabs a disembodied arm, V snatches it back with her mouth, claiming it is hers. Upon seeing this, Lizzy expresses her disgust and exclaims V looks "like garbage." V snaps and calls her a "frickin traitor," which Lizzy responded by stating that V had been manipulating her and was planning to kill everyone during prom.

N thanks Lizzy for confronting her, but she and V tell him to shut up. V manages to put her body back together and sneaks up behind Doll as she makes her last stand against N and Uzi. As Doll is preparing to attack the two, V shoots Doll in the head, killing her. Uzi voices her displeasure with Doll being shot since she wanted to get some information out of her, and N claims V is overdramatically hiding something.

Upon entering Doll's home, they find numerous dismembered Worker Drone corpses scattered about. V is seen chewing and sucking on a dismembered arm, which Uzi removes from her mouth. While exploring the dining room, N finds the corpses of Doll's parents, and V comments that they "literally didn't even taste that good;" N tells V that she "sucks" in response, to which V agrees.

Doll then teleports into the room, pulling the bullet out of her head and firing it at Uzi, but Uzi stops the bullet mid-air with her awakened Absolute Solver abilities. In that moment of Uzi being almost shot, V is seen with a perplexed/concerned expression, pointing a gun in Uzi's direction, not knowing whether to shoot. When Doll realizes that Uzi also possesses the Absolute Solver, she pities Uzi and agrees to help her, provided she can find what she is searching for. She then teleports away right as V fires a missile at her.

Cabin Fever

N and V both arrive dressed as scoutmasters, and V shoots a student. After Thad and Lizzy back them up, the two go on to keep Uzi's classmates busy during their field trip at Camp 98.7, as their real mission is to have Uzi investigate and discover more about the Absolute Solver and catch Doll. V reveals that she is suspicious of Uzi because of her involvement with the Absolute Solver.

She then warns Uzi to focus on her investigation rather than spying on the squad, even going as far as threatening to kill her if she is to be seen near the group again. V also tells her that N would quickly move on from her death. V and the students again notice Uzi when N clumsily shouts for her to come out of hiding.

Braidon, out of fear, accidentally shoots an arrow at Uzi. Luckily, she stops it mid-air with her Absolute Solver abilities. But, due to her overheating, she loses control of her powers, and the arrow mutates into a fleshy, sentient creature, much to V's horror - who seems to recognize the creature. Uzi then runs off with V trying to go after her, but N gets in the way.

As V claims that "that THING" will leave them alone if they do their jobs, N scolds her for not telling him what's going on, surprising V. N tells V to keep watch of the students and flies away to look for Uzi. But V, now frustrated, tells them to do whatever they want and goes off to pursue and murder Uzi.

V then reappears to stop a now out-of-control, monstrous Uzi from killing Lizzy - though V adds that she came to kill Uzi, not to save Lizzy. V approaches Uzi, referring to her as "Cyn." Uzi whimpers and wishes to talk to N, but V wants to ensure she can never do that. An enraged Uzi succumbs to her violence, leading her to ambush and overpower V, dismembering her left arm in the process.

Just as Uzi is about to stab V to death with her Nanite Acid syringe, N appears and prevents her from doing so by tossing Uzi into the sky. N then scolds V for her actions and flies off to have a comforting talk with Uzi, leaving V alone and upset at him for taking Uzi's side. When Uzi and N land, V prepares for her rematch against Uzi but notices that N has her under control.

She eases up, but Lizzy reappears and expresses her disgust towards N and V. V warns her not to patronize her, but Lizzy calls her a "diva" and walks away, to which V rolls her eyes and chuckles slightly. Uzi, N, and V later return to the bus with the remaining campers. The teacher asks about the other missing campers, to which V takes the blame for Uzi's killings by claiming that she ate them because she was simply hungry.

Home

The episode unfolds in V and N's memories as Worker Drones in Elliott Manor. At the start of the episode, V is in the library, standing motionless with ERROR 606 and an 'X' repeatedly flashing on her visor as N reads to her about Golden Retrievers from a book titled "101 Dog Breeds." After N witnesses a few books coincidentally falling from the shelves, as well as movements coming from the basement entrance behind V, he decides to leave the library.

Later, when N comes in contact with Uzi (in the form of a crow), he makes his way toward the supposed "scary basement." V is found standing above the entrance of said basement. N gently pulls V aside but discovers that a key is needed to enter the basement. As N and Uzi realize that the key is with J, V giggles while showing a wide, sharp-teethed grin, her visor displaying an 'X' shape. Her right hand has also changed, with her now having claws and a yellow eye on the back.

N and Uzi run to Tessa and J to obtain the key. However, V, now possessed by the Solver and with wings, follows them. J and Tessa fight V to distract her as N and Uzi run back to the basement to unlock it. However, V escapes the fight and follows the two to the basement. As Uzi manages to hijack a Solver camera, she notices V standing nearby. Uzi quickly drags N into the basement and locks themselves inside, preventing V from entering.

Present-day Cyn manages to reclaim control of her Eldritch sentience from Uzi and lets V into the basement. She demands V grab a scalpel that Cyn would use to delete N's memories. V struggles to see the scalpel, having persistent difficulty picking it up with her claws as Cyn becomes more frustrated with her. N, however, calms Cyn down and hands V her glasses (now broken, from when she dropped them earlier) so that she can see better. She then grabs the scalpel with ease but becomes saddened. Seemingly broken free from the Solver's control, she repeats N's words about Golden Retrievers that he read to her earlier.

Touched, N tries to finish her sentence, but Cyn disarms V and pins her to the ceiling before insisting that she'll just delete their OS. V regains consciousness from the Solver and yells N's name in dismay as Cyn is about to delete his memories once again. However, Uzi regains control of the Eldritch sentience right before N is "executed." She then releases V and she plummets to the ground coughing. N gets up from the chair to check on V. They smile at each other before eventually regaining their current memories. N recognizes Uzi and thanks her, but V shouts in annoyance for her to get out of her head.

N and V return to their Disassembly Drone sentience in the real world (as Uzi gains admin rights over both of them). They look at each other before V turns her head away from N, blushing in embarrassment. She angrily stares at Uzi before switching her hand into a chainsaw. Later, V, N, and Uzi go outside, stumbling upon Tessa, J, and Doll, who are about to venture to Cabin Fever Labs. They all look at each other before showing their equal confusion as the episode abruptly ends.

Dead End

After a brief discussion with Tessa and the new J, V and the others head into Cabin Fever Labs following Doll's theft of the Keybug. While exploring, V and the others are captured by Alice and Beau, and V is restrained on a hospital bed, immobilized by a magnetic force. V looks proudly at Uzi after Alice remarks that "some parts are more valuable than others," and is forced to witness Alice experimenting on Uzi.

Soon after, Uzi succumbs to the Absolute Solver's influence and disables the door's control panel, letting the Sentinels in. Beau, realizing the severity of the situation, chooses to free V and sacrifices himself so she can escape. V attempts to help Uzi but is cornered by two Sentinels. As she prepares to defend herself and Uzi, a weakened Uzi uses her Absolute Solver powers to assimilate the Sentinels into a chaotic mass, saving them both.

V, now understanding what transpired, carefully picks up Uzi and brings her back to Tessa. Once reunited, V angrily chastises Tessa for her failure to keep the Sentinels under control as promised. Tessa admits to not being truthful with her, as she had been with N. V’s anger shifts to concern as she watches Tessa. Later, V is seen perched on a high platform, targeting a red-eyed Sentinel that had attacked Tessa earlier.

Dropping down, she notices Doll lying on the ground in a boot-loop with the Keybug in her hand. Uzi comments on how convenient that seems, but V suspects Doll set a trap. Uzi ignores her warning and tries to use her Absolute Solver to grab the Keybug from afar.

N halts Uzi's attempt, and the three of them realize what’s going on. They then spot Tessa already holding the Keybug. V leads the charge, dual-wielding submachine guns, and approaches her. Upon seeing N and Uzi holding hands, V expresses her disgust, and Uzi responds by calling V mean.

Suddenly, Doll, having faked her boot-loop, seizes the opportunity to steal the Keybug and releases Sentinels into the area. She places the Keybug on the reader and leaps into an elevator shaft, dropping an elevator to separate them from her. As Tessa prepares to fight the Sentinels, V is seen scaling the walls to the ceiling.

The red-eyed Sentinel fires a bullet at Tessa from a Disassembly Drone hand, but V (now wearing her broken glasses from earlier) manages to catch and redirect the bullet back at the Sentinel. Tessa, Uzi, and N rush into the elevator, but it begins to shake, threatening to fall.

Worried, N urges V to get into the elevator quickly, but she stays behind to face the red-eyed Sentinel. As she’s about to strike it down, she spots another Sentinel. The second one destroys the Keybug reader, causing the elevator to move back up. The first Sentinel flashes the boot-loop light at V, causing her glasses to fall off and get destroyed by another advancing Sentinel.

Despite N's pleas for her not to sacrifice herself, V cuts the elevator cables, sending it plummeting as the Sentinels close in. She salutes Uzi, trusting that she’ll handle things. The elevator falls, and V, seemingly accepting her fate, continues to battle the Sentinels.

Mass Destruction

Lizzy is seen texting a "secret friend" about J's arrival at the Spire. Meanwhile, when N encounters Cyn in the tunnels, the Solver takes on Worker Drone V's form to taunt him, revealing that his actions were one of the reasons Cyn preserved his team's personalities. Later, V appears again in N's flashback, where he recalls the Disassembly Drones, including himself, decimating the human race.

Absolute End

V reappears in this episode after being presumed dead when she blocked a missile shot by J towards Lizzy and Thad. Riding a red-eyed sentinel she’s tamed (wearing Beau’s hat), V confronts J, questioning her betrayal towards her and N. J reveals that the Solver had manipulated them all.

J admits that if she promised V anything else, the Solver tricked her too, and fires a missile at V, causing her to fall. J amputates V’s left lower leg, offering her hand and persuading her to join her and Cyn. V grabs her hand but then chops it off, sarcastically telling her to “bite me!” They continue their fight as N and Uzi drop down, unleashing a black hole on Cyn.

Later, as Cyn pursues Uzi and N, J retracts her offer to V, kicks her down, and coldly declares that she never needed V or N before firing another missile. During the fight, N briefly recalls being experimented on by Cyn with V in the manor.

After the fight with J, V enters the labs and calls out for N, explaining that J and possibly the Solver had deceived them both. She then spots a hologram of N, created by Cyn, and, mistaking it for the real N, tearfully apologizes for not being fully honest with him. The real N then calls out, revealing his position to Cyn, who pierces N’s chest from behind and drags him into the hallway. V watches in shock as Cyn holds N’s heart and corpse, explaining how she promised to leave them alone if V did her job. V begins to ask if she can still save N, but Cyn refuses and declares V has failed. The Solver then begins to chase her.

V is attacked by J and thrown to the ground, with Cyn tossing N’s body beside her. V watches in horror as Cyn prepares to devour N’s heart, but Khan intervenes, closing the door on Cyn and releasing her grip on the heart, which lands back in N’s chest. Cyn charges to finish them off, and V braces herself to protect N’s heart with her left hand.

In the final moment, Uzi blocks Cyn’s attack, stating that only she can traumatize V and N. Uzi then says, "Glad you're not dead or whatever," smiling at V, who returns the smile. The battle intensifies as V and the team confront Cyn. V launches missiles and machine guns at Cyn, and when Cyn grabs Uzi, V kicks her in the head, smiling smugly at Uzi. N tosses Cyn into the air, and V intercepts her, slamming her into the ground.

While N and Uzi are distracted by their secret handshake, V fights Cyn alone and gets pinned to a wall. Uzi then uppercuts Cyn, and V expresses confusion at the handshake. After Cyn sends them flying, Uzi destroys Cyn’s heart, creating a giant black hole that pauses time—except for V and N. Uzi blacks out after consuming the black hole, and V and N go to find her.

Once they find her, N and Uzi share a brief moment of happiness before V notices Uzi’s new purple-yellow eyes. Uzi calls herself a "damaged OC," and V acknowledges it. The three continue their reunion.

The episode ends with a scene in the classroom where Uzi gives a presentation on the events. V and Lizzy boo her, and V is hit by a paper airplane, which reveals a manga-style drawing of the trio by N. V smiles and slams her hand on Lizzy’s face to stop her from commenting.

During the credits, V is seen at Doll’s funeral, playing chess with the red-eyed sentinel (and losing). Lizzy joins them, and V wears Beau’s hat. The episode closes with a fight between V and Lizzy on one side, and N, Uzi, and Thad on the other.

Appearance

  • Looks:

V is a female Disassembly Drone with neon yellow eyes and a silver bob-cut hairstyle. Like other Disassembly Drones, she wears a black headband with five sections of eyes and has a long black tail ending with a large syringe filled with Nanite Acid.

  • Attire:

V wears a dark gray, short-sleeved crop coat with a golden fur collar and cuffs. Her legs are painted black up to her thighs, resembling thigh-high socks, with yellow and black stripes at the end of her legs. She also wears a yellow armband with a skull label, along with text displaying her P/N (CYN-MYKX) and S/N (V-X00100000).

  • Combat Mode:

When hunting, V's visor displays a neon yellow long 'X' shape, and her mouth reveals jagged teeth. She deploys large metal wings with a yellow and black color pattern, containing 16 feather blades. The middle of the wings has two yellow glowing circles. V also has interchangeable hands that can be swapped out for tools and weapons, including sharp claws for tearing through drones.

  • Worker Form:

In N's flashback, V is seen wearing a black hard hat like the other Worker Drones, with a maid crown attached to the front. Her attire includes a grey maid dress with black trim, paired with a bowtie around the neck and two buttons down the middle. She also wears black knee-length socks and a yellow armband. V wears black round glasses to correct her severe vision defect.

  • Solver Form:

In her Solver Form, V grows large bat-like wings similar to Uzi's Solver Form. Her right fingers are replaced with sharp claws, and her right hand appears fleshy, with a large yellow eye featuring a slit pupil. Her visor displays an 'X' shape.

  • Prom Outfit:

During prom, V wears a red-velvet, glittery, sleeveless dress with a slit on the right side.

  • Camp Outfit:

At Camp 98.7, V wears a scoutmaster's outfit, consisting of a short-sleeved green shirt and shorts. She completes the look with a wide-brimmed green campaign hat.

Personality

  • Sociopathic Facade:

V appears as a sociopathic, violent, sadistic mass murderer, having no qualms or regrets about murdering Worker Drones. She often shows impulsive tendencies and a lack of empathy, especially when carrying out her duties as a Disassembly Drone. Her ruthlessness is often seen as her default personality.

  • Traumatized Past:

Underneath her exterior lies a traumatized and complex individual who harbors deep emotional scars from her past. Once shy, kind, and reserved, V shared a strong connection with her then-love interest, N. She was unable to stand up for herself or protect others, especially when J abused N, leading her to remain passive. However, her past actions and her inability to intervene left her with a great deal of guilt and shame.

  • Morally Grey Nature:

Although V adopts a sadistic persona, her true feelings reveal her internal conflict. She cared deeply for N, often hiding the painful past to shield him from further trauma. Despite her exterior ruthlessness, she is capable of empathy, especially toward those she cares about. Her default to violence and cruelty, though initially a defense mechanism, has caused her to become more morally grey over time, struggling to reconcile her true self with the persona she adopted.

  • Protective of N:

V's love and care for N is a driving force in her actions. She actively sought to protect him, even agreeing to carry out her duties as a Disassembly Drone under the condition that they could remain undisturbed. She hides the truth of their past from him to keep him sane, demonstrating her devotion.

  • Friendship and Sacrifice:

Despite her cold demeanor, V becomes a staunch ally of Uzi, sacrificing herself to ensure Uzi and N's safety. She also forms a close friendship with Lizzy, a Worker Drone she initially intended to kill during the prom. Though she maintains an aloof attitude towards both Uzi and Lizzy, her actions demonstrate that her uncaring personality is a facade.

  • Fear of the Solver:

V harbors a deep fear of the Solver, which motivates her to kill Workers to prevent it from harming her or N. Her fear intensifies when she encounters hosts of the Solver, such as Uzi, whom she targets when Uzi begins to show signs of infection. Her intense reaction to the Solver's influence highlights her deep trauma and internal struggle.

Relationships

Serial Designation N

N notes that all the disassembly drones tells him that he's useless and terrible[1]. With V not even recognizing him at first (which is likely due to the Absolute Solver)[2]. N initially has a crush on her[3]. N later betrays her and J and fights against them[4]. Though he doesn't kill her and brings her with them to their ship[5]. Flashbacks of their time as Worker Drones shows they both had feelings for each other[6]. Even in modern time V shows to feel bad for N[7]. She tries to convince N that they both go to the prom and kill all the Worker Drones[8], along with asking N to stop prying into the things about the Absolute Solver as she's worried about N's safety[9]. V after essentially temporarily disabling N tells him that she's doing what's best for him, even if he hates her for it[10]. N tells Uzi how V is purposefully hiding stuff from them with V punching N's arm[11]. She considered Uzi a threat to N when she thought she was just Cyn in another body and tried to kill Uzi to protect N[12]. With N arguing with her over this as she simply just won't tell him what she's so afraid of[13]. N later saves V from nearly being killed by Uzi in her berserk Solver Form[14]. With V afterwards purposefully taking the blame for the missing campers from Uzi's feedings[15]. It's shown in Home that N was very to V when she was the new maid, nice enough to make her briefly resist the control of the Absolute Solver[16]. When surrounded by Sentinels, N says to V that they need her as he knows she's about to sacrifice herself but she tells him she trusts Uzi, cutting the elevator down and putting herself in harms way to make sure everyone else is safe[17]. When she believes she encountered N again, she starts apologizing for keeping everything from him, noting she was just scared for both of them[18]. At the end of the series, N throws a paper to V showing off his new drawing skills, with V smiling back, being proud of him[19].

Uzi Doorman

Uzi and V’s relationship starts off completely hostile. V views Uzi as a nuisance and doesn’t hesitate to treat her like a target that needs to be eliminated. In "The Promening," their interactions are full of tension, with V’s aggressive behavior clashing against Uzi’s stubborn determination. Despite this, they briefly work together when Doll becomes a bigger threat, although their temporary understanding doesn’t last long.

By "Cabin Fever," V’s disdain for Uzi grows. She’s frustrated by Uzi’s connection to N and doesn’t hide her belief that Uzi is a danger to him. Even with N’s obvious care for Uzi, V disregards it, openly stating that Uzi would be her next target. Her suspicion seems justified when Uzi's Absolute Solver infection worsens. V wastes no time trying to eliminate her, believing it’s the only way to stop the threat. N’s intervention prevents this, and he scolds V for making things worse. While V doesn’t respond much at the moment, it’s clear that N’s words stick with her.

Things shift in "Dead End." V’s attitude toward Uzi softens as her concern grows. Instead of trying to kill her, V tries to prevent Uzi from using her Solver powers, fearing the infection will fully consume her. It’s a far cry from their initial hostility. When V is surrounded by Sentinels, she puts her faith in Uzi to look after N, a significant act of trust given how little she thought of Uzi before. Her willingness to sacrifice herself shows how much her perspective has changed.

In "Absolute End," V's return confirms how far she’s come. She no longer sees Uzi as just a threat. Her dramatic arrival, cutting off J’s hand and yelling, "How 'bout you BITE ME?!", makes it clear she’s ready to stand with Uzi and N. When Uzi saves both of them, V's response is her usual sarcastic, "Glad you’re not dead or whatever," but the small smile they share says more than words. There’s genuine respect and trust now, even if V still won’t admit it outright.

By the end, V is no longer just an antagonist to Uzi. While their relationship is still full of snark and sarcasm, they’ve formed a solid bond. V recognizes Uzi's strength and resilience, and despite their rough start, it’s clear they’ve become reluctant allies — maybe even friends.

Doll

Doll wants revenge on V for killing her parents, being willing to kill anyone that gets in her way[20].

All previous powers and abilities, Large Size (Building Sized; Eldritch Form Disassembly Drones are so large their bodies wrap around warehouses[184]), Illusion Manipulation (They can make holographic illusions that initially seem very fake[185], though through doing more improv[186], its holographic illusions become[187] so realistic they're indistinguishable from reality[188] creating holograms that perfectly act like other people the person knows[189], and having them question what was really real and what was fake[190]), Supernatural Protection & Matter Manipulation (If any of the Disassembly Drones are damaged beyond repair, the Absolute Solver takes over and starts a "reboot"[191] reconstructing their body[192] through collecting more matter[193])

Equipment

Notable Techniques

Ability Function/Example
Flight V has large retractable wings with blade-like feathers, enabling high-speed flight. These wings can also be used for cutting and impaling targets.
Corrosive Nanite Acid The end of V's tail contains a syringe filled with a yellow liquid that contains corrosive nanites capable of breaking down materials.
Healing Saliva V's saliva can deactivate the corrosive nanites produced by her tail's syringe, similar to N's ability to neutralize them.
EMP Immunity V is immune to electromagnetic pulses, though this immunity may have limits.
Interchangeable Hands Like other Disassembly Drones, V can swap her hands for various tools and weapons, including:

- A submachine gun. - A missile cannon that fires explosive missiles or bullets, as seen in "Cabin Fever." - Retractable claws, used for tearing apart victims like Grant. - Retractable arm blades, used in her fight against N. - A flag with the message "LITERALLY SO INSANELY SUSPICIOUS." - A laser cutter, similar to N's weapon. - Bubble wands, seen in "Heartbeat." - A chainsaw, used in "Home." - A flashlight, used in "Dead End."

Enhanced Reflexes V possesses enhanced reflexes, demonstrated when she caught a bullet fired by the severed arm of a Disassembly Drone in a Sentinel's mouth.

Trivia

  • V was first shown in the teaser for Murder Drones. She was later featured in the Disassembly Required OST music video.
  • She serves as the mascot of Murder Drones, as she was featured in the first official teaser trailer, making her the first character to be revealed to the public.
  • In her concept art, V had white hair, a sideways halo, a more slender body, and no mouth. Her overall appearance resembled that of an angel.
  • V started the series as an antagonist, but her status as a protagonist was shown off in promotional material such as merchandise. After some foreshadowing in Heartbeat" (where her concern for N is shown), V eventually joins forces with N and Uzi (to a degree) in "The Promening".
    • It's worth noting that while N and J's personalities mostly remained the same when they were turned from Worker Drones to Disassembly Drones, V's personality changed from being a shy and kind girl to a sinister and psychopathic individual.
      • This personality slowly dissipated after she got her memories back as she showed a kinder personality (as seen when she "sacrificed" herself so the rest of the team could go before they got attacked).
      • In "Mass Destruction" the Absolute Solver, while using a hologram of V, revealed that it kept the original personalities of N's squad, further confirming that V's sinister behavior in the present is an act.
  • In "Cabin Fever", V tells Uzi "Better to say distant, though. Don't you think?" while she threatens the latter. These words take on a new meaning later in the series when it's revealed that V herself has kept herself distant from N to protect him from the Absolute Solver.
  • While not seen, V does have a phone on her as proven when she manages to contact Lizzy about her success at surviving against the Sentinels.
  • V is one of three characters, the other two being Nori and Uzi, to say the line "Bite me!".
  • Kevin Temmer has called V’s solver form “Eldritch V” in a behind the scenes video.

Codex Statistics Questions

Q: Shouldn't the cast of Murder Drones be around Planetary levels of power due to tanking said destruction?

A: This answer has two layers:

First we'll go under the assumption that this is the case, the cast of Worker Drones have far too many lower feats to suggest this is at all consistent. Worker Drones can be killed by enough ravens pecking them over a long period of time[207] (regardless of how overtime one would like to argue this, it is objectively impossible for ravens to do this to someone with planetary levels of durability), they kept the Disassembly Drones out from their hideout due to the doors in the way[208], where Serial Designation V even noted that she's been trying to get past the doors for month[209], and the Absolute Solvers body was completely destroyed by the rifle's explosion, which required Serial Designation N to shield himself and Uzi[210]. Worker Drones have also been flung away by missile explosions[211], along with receiving light injuries from an explosion across the classroom[212]. N shooting several explosives at a rock formation only destroyed some of it[213], along with being knocked out from a cave in[214], and having his arm stuck under rocks[215], needing to saw his arm off[216]. Uzi gets launched away and nearly knocked out from a spaceship hitting her[217]. With all of these anti feats alone, the supposed feat does not at all line of narratively.
Each time a planet is affected in Murder Drones, it is through a black hole, which is an innate warping of space-time, with no one outright destroying said black holes asides from Cyn destroying a minature one[218]. Thus no one actively "tanked" the destruction of Earth, they survived being in proximity of a black hole which ripped apart Earth, which is a feat of resistance rather then durability.
