~ Description • Kirby's Return to Dream Land |
Background
Magolor is a character in the Kirby series, debuting as the main antagonist and final boss of Kirby's Return to Dream Land. He tricks Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Bandana Waddle Dee into rebuilding his Lor Starcutter and defeating Landia so he could steal the Master Crown and conquer the universe.
Magolor returns in Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition, where he apologizes for his actions by building Kirby a theme park. Ever since then, he has appeared in later games as an ally.

Standard Equipment
- Lor Starcutter: The Lor Starcutter is an ancient ship that can travel through the cosmos. According to Magolor, the current owner of the ship, the Lor Starcutter is an ancient vessel that was crafted by the ancients, people of the past who made legendary treasures and pieces of technology. The ship was apparently crafted using an “incredible power.” The ship has the ability to travel throughout space and time by creating dimensional rifts. The Lor Starcutter was set down in a sacred resting place in Halcandra, a planet in Another Dimension, and the ancients entrusted Landia to guard it and some other artifacts they created. The ship was uncovered by Magolor, who repaired and upgraded it, though in truth he had stolen it. Also according to Magolor, the Lor Starcutter is apparently sentient, as he stated that there’s legends that say that the ship has a mind of its own. This is evidenced at the end of Kirby's Return to Dream Land, where the Lor Starcutter and Landia return to rescue Kirby and friends, despite Magolor having been defeated and not there to pilot it. Magolor also implies that the Lor may have the ability to speak, although there is no evidence to that.
- Master Crown: Return to Dream Land only. The Master Crown is a seemingly malevolent item in the Kirby series, appearing in Kirby's Return to Dream Land. It is a source of limitless power that when worn by the user gives them power to rule the entire universe, however the crown will take over the user overtime until there’s nothing left of the user except the crown.

- Puts all opponents to sleep.
- Drops a bomb on all the opponents.

None | 16 |
Detonate | Gem Apple Bombs, then ↓ + B | Magolor giggles as he detonates the Gem Apple bombs, dealing more damage in a wider radius the bigger they are. Black Hole | While in the air, ↑ + press and hold B, then | Magolor floats in place as he raises his arms over his head, creating a rune circle that can be maneuvered around freely.
In Kirby Fighters 2, the black hole will always be created directly above Magolor. |

Dimensional Vanish | L/R in midair | Magolor disappears into a portal, leaving only an invulnerable distortion in the air that can be maneuvered around freely. When the button is released or after about 5 seconds, he will reappear through another portal, damaging nearby enemies. | None | 16 |

Summon Lor | Press and hold ↑ | Magolor summons the Lor Starcutter, which friends can ride on, increasing its size and damaging nearby enemies. | 8 |
Magoloran Launch | Release ↑ once Friends are aboard | Magolor launches the Lor Starcutter, which flies straight forwards, damaging any foes in its path and smashing through any blocks which would be breakable by a Friend Throw. After it flies offscreen, the friends riding it will Space Jump back to Magolor. | 80 (1 Friend) 110 (2 Friends) 150 (3 Friends) |
Other
Standard Tactics:
Magolor will shoot magical attacks at the opponent, use his Lor Starcutter to attack or use the various techniques of his arsenal that he has from Star Allies.
Master Crown Magolor will manipulate dimensional rifts to summon enemies, create a pseudo-black hole to suck in his foes, shoot homing orbs, and create large energy beam glyphs while teleporting around.
Due to the Master Crown taking over Magolor uses more spatial warping over reality along with manipulating the dimensional rifts themselves to attack and using the dimensional rifts to send attacks through or go through himself.
Weaknesses: The Master Crown will take over his mind if he’s defeated, otherwise nothing notable.
