This movie is a retelling of Goku's first journey and his battles against the Red Ribbon Army. He meets Bulma for the first time and also meets Oolong, Yamcha, and Puar while they are in the desert. After a battle with Yamcha, Goku and his friends accidentally run into Muscle Tower, but Goku is able to defend them. While inside the tower, he defeats Major Metallitron and meets Android 8 and befriends him, giving him the nickname Eighter. After taking the Dragon Ball from Muscle Tower, they meet Turtle on the road. After returning him to the sea and meeting Master Roshi, who gives him the Nimbus Cloud, they are attacked by General Blue and his forces from the sea. After seeing Master Roshi perform one, Goku releases a Kamehameha that nearly destroys all of the enemy forces. Goku is knocked out by a missile and after Goku's friends are kidnapped by the army, he attacks the main headquarters. He attacks Staff Officer Black while in his giant Battle Jacket after he ruthlessly murders Eighter in front of him. Goku snaps, and releases a Kamehameha that destroys Black, putting an end to the Red Ribbon Army. Goku then uses the Dragon Balls to revive Eighter, delighted to his friend. |
General Information
Name: Son Goku
Origin: Dragon Ball: The Path to Power
Sex: Male
Age: 11
Classification: Martial Artist
Species: Unknown
Occupation: None
Status: Alive
Alignment: Neutral Good (Goku is a well mannered kid that will help out those weak and in need. Went out of his way to save a seaturtle loss from sea in the middle of a dragon ball hunt)
Codex Statistics
Tier: 9-B, Higher with the Kamehameha Wave
Cardinality: Finite
Dimensionality: 3-D
Attack Potency: Wall level (Lifted a large boulder, and threw it into the air, completely destroying it with one finger), Higher with the Kamehameha Wave (His regular kamehameha wave unleashes all of his inner latent power and condenses all into a singular powerful blast. Goku's enraged kamehameha wave completely one-shots General Black's mech, which previously crushed Android 8 who was superior to Goku and tanked Goku's regular kamehameha wave)
Durability: Wall level (Noted that his body is as temepered as stainless steel. Tanked Yamcha's wolf fang fist, which sent him through several stone mushroom pillars)
Striking Strength: Wall Class
Lifting Strength: Class 5 (Could pick up and throw Bulam's car, with the average weight of a car being over 1000 kg. Lifted a large boulder, and threw it into the air, completely destroying it with one finger. Could briefly lift a massive stone mushroom pillar and throw it into the air)
Travel Speed: Superhuman (Able to move faster then the human eye can see)
Attack Speed: Supersonic
Reaction Speed: Supersonic (Can avoid several bullets with ease)
Stamina: Superhuman (Went through a long fight with the red ribbon army, taking out all of it's soldiers and reducing their base to nothing, has used the kamehameha several times without tiring, a technique in which every bit of latent energy within one's body is condensed and unleashed all at once, which made Roshi lose his power after using one of them)
Range: Standard Melee, Extended Melee with Power Pole, Up to Thousands of Kilometers with Power Pole extended (Should be comparable to what it could do in canon, where it can reach up to the moon with the pole extended), Thousands of Kilometers with Kamehameha (Should be comparable to canon Master Roshi's kamehameha, which can reach the moon)
Intelligence: Below Average Intelligence socially (Raised in the mountains with his adoptive grandpa before the latter’s death, knows little to nothing about how society functions), Genius Intelligence Combat Wise (Goku is able to learn and use the kamehameha wave in a few moments when it took Master Roshi 50 long years to learn)
Powers and Techniques
Resistance to Extreme Colds (Can stay out in a snowstorm in his regular gi without feeling cold)
Equipment
- Power Pole: The Power Pole is a magical, length-changing staff that is owned and wielded by Goku for most of the original Dragon Ball series. Before Master Roshi gave the Power Pole to Grandpa Gohan, it was owned by Korin. Although Goku uses it primarily as a weapon, its true purpose is to use its size-changing ability to travel from Korin Tower to The Lookout.
- Flying Nimbus: Flying Nimbus is a magical, yellow cloud that serves as a way of transportation. Given to him by Master Roshi after helping out his sea turtle.
Notable Techniques
- Rock, Scissors 'N' Paper: A technique taught to Goku by Grandpa Gohan which employs one of three attack styles; either a closed-fist assault, a two-finger jabbing assault, or an open-palm thrust assault.
- Bōjutsu: The art of wielding a staff which Goku utilizes when wielding his Power Pole. Goku learned it from the Power Pole's previous owner, his adoptive Grandpa Gohan. Goku's Bōjutsu skills are so great that he can use his Power Pole to deflect bullets as shown during his assault on Muscle Tower. Additionally, due to the Power Pole's mystical length changing properties, his attack range with the Power Pole is much greater than an average staff.
- Kamehameha: Goku's signature move since obtaining it. It unleashes a powerful and long-stretching blue energy blast from his cupped hands. Goku first learns the move after witnessing Master Roshi using it. It can be charged to compete with practically any enemy attack.
Other
Standard Tactics: Goku will use his hand to hand techniques, along with the kamehameha.
Weaknesses
- Standard Ki Weaknesses: Due to the nature of ki draining stamina and energy, Dragon Ball characters ki usage requires them to usually use their higher levels of energy in short bursts, using a large amount of ki overtime can greatly weaken them to the point that characters far lower then them can actually harm them with attacks. Taking large amounts of damage can greatly deplete a ki users attacks, making it where attacks that would otherwise kill massively weakened characters, only pushes them back. Ki users that are able to ki sense cannot do it when their guard is dropped, such as when Vegeta was able to sneak attack Son Goku during the end of their fight in the Buu Saga. Despite some ki users being able to reach blasts that can destroy planets through charged attacks or techniques, they have not shown to be able to tank such blasts themself, with attacks that have destroyed several planets in the series always killing the character. Even characters such as Majin Buu's body cannot withstand the energy of a planet exploding.
- Unique Weaknesses: Grabbing onto his tail greatly weakens him, he loses his monstrous strength when hungry.
