Xeno Goku's timeline closely mirrors that of his main universe counterpart, experiencing events such as the Frieza and Cell Sagas. Unlike his main timeline version, he also encounters the events of Tree of Might, Lord Slug, and Fusion Reborn, as well as the entirety of Dragon Ball GT and battles the Shadow Dragons. He also faces Broly in combat. Xeno Goku has not experienced the events of Dragon Ball Super and is unaware of transformations like Super Saiyan Blue until encountering his main timeline counterpart. Dark Demon Realm Saga
Dark Empire Saga
His next mission concerns an altered timeline with Xeno Majin Buu and the Three-Star Dark Dragon Ball. During the conflict, Dabura intervenes, and Buu absorbs him. Xeno Trunks, Xeno Vegeta, and Xeno Goku respond to the situation. Xeno Goku fuses with Xeno Vegeta into Xeno Vegito. A figure named Chamel interrupts the battle, allowing Buu to escape. Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta are later taken to Hell, where they engage Shroom while Chamel confronts Towa. Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta fuse into Xeno Gogeta in order to battle Shroom. Their fusion expires, and Xeno Goku passes through a portal, leaving Xeno Vegeta to continue fighting. Through the portal, Xeno Goku reaches the Demon Realm, encountering Super Saiyan 4 Dark Broly fighting Demon Goddess Towa. Towa and Xeno Paragus intervene but are incapacitated. Mira appears and absorbs Towa, transforming into a stronger form to engage Broly. Xeno Goku transforms into Super Saiyan 4 to assist. The battle ends with a large energy explosion that incapacitates Xeno Goku and Broly, leaving Mira standing. Xeno Goku rejoins the Time Patrol to confront Mechikabura’s forces. He fuses with Xeno Vegeta into Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Gogeta during battles against Shroom and other opponents. Dark King Mechikabura Saga
In the manga, the Time Patrol is sent to Age 790, witnessing Gogeta against Omega Shenron. They encounter mind-controlled allies and enemies, including Majuub. Demigra, Chamel, and Robelu appear alongside Towa and Dabura in Demon God form. Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta fuse into Xeno Gogeta. Chamel teleports them to Demigra’s lair and explains the six Hell Gates, each guarded by a Demon God. Xeno Goku passes through the Blue Hell Gate and defeats its protector, Salsa, using physical attacks and energy blasts. He is later incapacitated by Chronoa and struck by Mechikabura’s dark energy. Xeno Trunks channels energy from the Saiyans, transforming into Super Saiyan God. Xeno Goku and the Time Patrol assist in the final battle, fusing into Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Vegito to allow Trunks to deliver the final blow. The Time Nest is restored afterward. Prison Planet Saga
He is ambushed by Majin Ozotto, who steals his Dragon Ball. Xeno Goku reunites with Xeno Vegeta to destroy Fu’s laboratory. They fuse into Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Vegito to confront Super Saiyan 3 Cumber, then defuse to battle Fu, who transforms into Super Fu. The planet nears destruction, and Xeno Goku participates in the evacuation. Universal Conflict Saga
Universe Creation Saga
Towa restrains the Time Patrol, extracting energy for Fu. Xeno Goku breaks free but is struck by Mira. New Space-Time War Saga

- Limitations: Goku cannot constantly transcend his limits and will have points where he is not strong enough to deal with the threat. Some examples include his fight against Cell where he knew he wasn't strong enough to beat him and opted for his son Son Gohan to defeat Cell. Another example is his fight against Beerus where even though he broke his limits a couple of times, he at the end could not overcome Beerus' power.

Attack Potency: At least Island level (Potency) (Is the strongest warrior from Future Trunks's memories, trained with Trunks for half a year. This Goku has gone through the events of Dragon Ball GT, meaning he should be superior to himself in the Buu Saga, due to having trained for seven years straight since, and then five more years on top of that, where during Buu Saga he was unimpressed by Dabura's power, who he compared to Perfect Cell, who is far superior to his Semi-Perfect form, who destroyed several islands with several blast. This base Goku is also aware of Broly, meaning the events of Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan happened, where in base form he could fight off and harm Restrained Super Saiyan Broly), Higher with Biting (Goku can bite opponents he previously could not harm to do some damage), Far Higher in Super Saiyan Transformations. Varies: Skill with Strongest Charged Blast (Charged Blast have one focus all of their energy into one single point[15], putting the blasts power far beyond what their peak strength is[16], allowing them to destroy things they couldn't prior with their regular attacks[17], this also allows them to use charged attacks that can stop enemies far beyond their level, such as Tien Shinhan pushing back Semi-Perfect Cell with his Neo Ki-Ko-Ho[18], along with stopping an attack shot from Buu absorbed Gotenks[19]. Strongest charged blast can gather ki to shoot out blast far beyond what the character is normally capable of[20], with blasts capable of[21] seriously damaging/destroying[22] the Earth along with completely obliterating the opponent[23]. Charged Blast also rely heavily on emotional states for example Gohan not believing in himself[24] was having Cell overpower him in a beam clash[25]) | At least Island level (Potency), Higher with Biting, Far Higher with Super Saiyan Transformations (Fought and held his own against Super Saiyan Blue Goku, who is based off his post-Tournament of Power self which is superior to his Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken x10 self from Universe 6 vs Universe 7 arc as he fought Hit later on in just Super Saiyan Blue). Goku is an incredibly skilled fighter to the point that he is able to easily outskill trained Martial Artists such as Krillin and Yamcha and match prodigies such as Tien and even nearly beat his Master, Roshi, after training with him for a few months)
Powers and Techniques
- Chi Manipulation & Ki Manipulation (All beings in Dragon Ball[27][28][29] have ki, the very life force energy of all characters[30], ki allows a fighter to extend beyond their bodies limits, allowing them to even[31] block attacks that would otherwise[32] kill them from[33] raising their guard[34], higher level users can lower their own durability to allow people far below them to fatally wound them[35])
- Aura
- Projection: A users ki aura can exert itself[36] as a weapon to attack[37].
- Explosive: Ki users through powering up can form an entire aura around themself, radiating their immense power[38], where depending on their immense strength, can cause them to explode their aura outwards to remove excess ki from themself[39].
- Mood Reflection: Goku and Piccolo Jr. with their auras and their stern concentration on each other reflected in their electric auras, even shooting electricity at each other[40].
- Emotional Empowerment (It's noted that ki users can receive energy through one cheering them on[41]. Ki users can be greatly increased by their emotions and beliefs, Son Goku explains that Son Gohan needs to remember the time he fought Cell and bring out all of the power he has, this way he can lose to no one[42] where it's shown during the Cell beam clash that he was holding back greatly out of fear of destroying the earth but from being cheered on and using all of his power within him, he was able to overpower Cell[43])
- Attack Reflection (All Ki users are able to reflect attacks just by being stronger than their opponent[44]. Examples include, Nappa deflecting a masenko from Son Gohan[45], Son Gohan being able to bounce back the spirit bomb[46], Son Goku deflecting a crusher ball from Jeice[47], Frieza deflecting a Final Burst Cannon from Vegeta[48], Son Goku reflecting multiple death beams back to back from Frieza[49], and Future Trunks being able to completely repel an energy blast with his hand from a Frieza Soldier just by being much stronger than them[50])
- Homing Attack (Ki users can create attacks that will home in and chase a target forever[51])
- Penetration Damage
- Weapon Creation (Ki users can create energy weapons out of their attacks[55])
- Power Absorption & Energy Transferal (Ki users can transfer their ki to others and absorb the ki given to them from others[56])
- Attack Nullification
- Power Nullification
- Ki Energy Based: Through having greater ki, one can nullify the powers done through ki attacks, such as Frieza being able to nullify a hakai ball[60], which fully destroys a target[61], though he is unable to resist a hakai ball from Toppo due to him being stronger[62], this ability however only works on ki, attacks unrelated, characters cannot resist through being stronger, such as how Vegeta, Krillin, & Son Gohan are unable to resist Guldo's psychic powers[63], along with even the likes of Son Goku[64].
- Forcefield Creation (Ki users such as Cell can generate forcefields around themselves[65]. These forcefields can be expanded[66], and used to protect others and defend against attacks far higher then the user[67]. Forcefields effectivel allow the ki user to be able to block substances from other ki techniques, such as poisons[68]. Ki users can also project forcefields around themselves to protect themselves from ki absorptions that require grabbing them and bringing them into one's body[69])
- Super Armor (Through releasing one's ki, they enter a state known as "Hyper Mode"[70], in this state they do not flinch from weak melee attacks[71])
- Self-Destruction (Ki users in Dragon Ball are able to[72] release all of the energy within them[73] to cause a massive[74] self-destruction of energy that normally kills the user and turns them into dust[75] though one can control it to surviving but having no stamina or energy left[76])
- Dormant Power Reservoir (Ki users have a dormant power reservoir within them, as shown in arcs like the Buu Saga where Babidi saps this energy in order to use the energy to revive Buu and break his seal[77])
- Internal Destruction (Powerful ki users can overload enemies with their ki, causing them to swell up and explode from the sheer density of ki within them[78])
- Binding
- Dreaming Existence (Characters in Shin Budokai have shown to create physical bodies in alternate timelines through dreaming[81])
- Non-Standard Interaction
- Intangible Interaction: Those with ki can block intangible attacks when they focus and notices them[82].
- Space-Time Interaction (3+1-D): Characters can blast space-time distortions to close them[83].
- Healing
- Healing Singular Targets
- Advanced Healing: Ki can be used to heal beings, allowing them to survive even with half their torso[84], it can also heal from near death[85].
- Healing Singular Targets
- Resurrection
- Resurrection of the Deceased (Limited): Ki users can resurrect ones heart from death if their ki beams hit their heart, restarting it[86].
- Resurrection from Exhaustion: Can heal downed allies to give them ki back, reviving them[87])
- Intimidation & Spirit Manipulation (Ki is the manifestation of one’s lifeforce[88], along with the aura giving one the feeling of being crushed[89], exerting fear[90] into the target, sometimes making them incapable of moving as their[91] body is instinctively stuck due to the sheer difference in power[92])
- Link Manipulation & Mind Manipulation (Characters can link their ki together and train within each other’s mind enacting in image training[93])
- Vibration Manipulation
- Electricity Manipulation
- Weather Manipulation (Powerful Ki users can generate entire storms through merely powering up alone, Nappa used this in order to conjure the electricity from the storm[98]. Goku showcases this when he first turns super saiyan, causing a massive lightning storm in the background[99])
- Energy Manipulation (Ki is the latent power in one's body, this latent power allows them to form and create energy from controlling their ki[100])
- Explosion Manipulation (Ki attacks can create massive explosions[103], or control the ki to set off a huge explosion under the enemy[104], or in front of them[105])
- Portal Manipulation
- Non-combat applicable: Characters in GT can link their minds together to open a portal between the living realm and the other world[106].
- Heat Manipulation
- Fire Manipulation (Ki users can manifest fireballs to throw at enemies[110])
- Light Manipulation (Ki can be used as a flash of light[111][112][113][114][115][116][117][118][119], Degisu seeing ki attacks be fired notes that the characters are "firing light from their hands"[120]).
- Aura
- Limited Resistance to
- Durability Negation (Ki users can focus their energy to localize an object to a specific spot to stop them from attempting to destroy their organs/insides[121])
- Soul Manipulation (Characters with a strong enough will can keep moving after getting their soul reaped, though this requires something akin to a familial or friendship empowerment)
- Longevity (Saiyans can keep their youth until around 80 years old)
- Reactive Power Level (A Saiyan’s power increases if they survive from injuries in battle, with their powers allowing them to greatly exceed their previous levels beforehand)
- Rage Power (Mere rage can amplify a Saiyan to a level that's believed to be a myth even by the highest levels of Saiyans in the verse)
- Damage Boost (Saiyans attack power rises when health is low)
- Statistics Amplification (Saiyans have all of their stats rise when they're revived)

- Superhuman Physical Characteristics
- Acrobatics (Capable of doing large superhuman jumps and leaps along with acrobatic flips during combat)
- Martial Arts
- Striking Arts: Before training under Master Roshi, Son Goku was trained by Grandpa Gohan to use techniques such as the jajanken (Rock, Scissors, & Paper) along with being able to deliver punches and kicks while blocking and defending from attacks. Went to train under Master Roshi and learn the turtle hermit style, a style training one to break the wall of humanity[122] mastering the art in both body and mind[123]. This style requires one to train in knowledge[124], work on one's stamina[125] work on their muscles and speed[126] dodge attacks even while tied to a rope in a short range[127] all the while wearing 20-kilo shells[128]. The Turtle Hermit Style are incorporated within this[129], allowing for students that trained under this style to be capable[130] of fighting against other martial artists[131] without needing to be taught any real fighting[132] along with taking no damage from attacks due to the style training their durability[133].
- Spiritual Arts: Told by Master Roshi to go out into the wide world and learn more about life, extending his knowledge and growing further for three years. Trained under Mr. Popo and Kami in the style of not wasting movements and making one's heart still going beyond merely just using one's eyes and being able to tell what actions one has done behind them being capable of seeing weak spots in techniques after only a little exchange.
- Vehicular Mastery (Land Vehicles & Air Vehicles; Able to drive cars, able to fly around in his flying nimbus even during combat)
- Weapon Mastery (Goku can use his power pole in combat and for other practices, such as a way to extend objects up without the use of his hands, along with reaching "the heavens" (Kami's Lookout))
- Social Influencing (Goku convinced a body guard of an evil man to become good[134])

- Regeneration (Mid-Low; Goku can recover his eye sight back after getting his eyes cut[135])
- Accelerated Development (Training, Physical Stats, Skill, & Abilities; As Goku trains he naturally grows stronger at a much faster rate then any of the earthlings. As an example, in the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament saga, Goku in a few months of training matched Master Roshi, one of the strongest Earthlings. Goku is able to increase his ki allowing him to mimic various attacks and gain access to abilities that even if teachers could not, such as how he was able to access Kaio-ken, which even King Kai couldn't access when he made the move itself)
- Bulletproof (Asides from gag scenes, bullets are unable to pierce him)
- Body Control (By the end of original Dragon Ball he learns the flight technique from seeing Tien and co. do it. Could control his tail to move fast enough to have him briefly fly)
- Afterimage Creation (Could use Jackie Chun’s afterimage technique. Could eventually make an even better version of Chun’s afterimage technique)
- Extrasensory Perception (After drinking the Water of the Gods, Goku was able to sense ki. Goku has been trained by Mr. Popo in learning to hone his sixth sense to be able to notice people attacking him from behind without using his eyes and feeling the environment around him. Goku's able to sense energy even if one's suppressing it[136])

- Senzu Bean: Mystical beans with immense rejuvenation properties. In World Mission, he is provided with a bag a Senzu Beans by Chronoa along with his Power Pole and Time Patrol Uniform.

- Turtle School Gi: A markless version of Gi worn by members of the Turtle School. In World Mission, Xeno Goku briefly wears this before switching to his official Time Patrol Uniform provided by Chronoa. According to Goku, it feels weird wearing clothes other than his normal Gi.
Notable Techniques
- Flight: The ability to take flight through the manipulation of ki.
- Ki Blast: The most basic form of energy wave.
- Kaio-ken: Xeno Goku learns this technique after dying against his world's Raditz while training under King Kai. While using it and any of its multipliers, Xeno Goku's various capacities and techniques are all proportionally increased. However, the strain of using too high a multiplier and/or for too long can be dangerous and greatly damage his body.
- Bojustu: Due to having wielded the Power Pole in battle as a weapon since childhood like his counterparts, Xeno Goku is master of the art of fighting with a staff specifically the Power Pole which has greater range compared to a traditional staff thanks to its magical property to change size. However as a Time Patroller, Xeno Goku wields the Power Pole which Chronoa provided for him. In the manga version of the Dark King Mechikabura Saga, Xeno Goku uses the Power Pole in his battle with Demon God Salsa who was guarding the blue Hell Gate, using the pole's ability to extend to catch the Demon God off guard showing his skill with the weapon hasn't diminished despite having wielded it very little in his adult life.
- Sudden Halberd Great Fist: Xeno Goku repeatedly hits the target with the Power Pole, knocking them into the air, and finishes by extending the pole into their chest to launch them away. Xeno Goku's Super Attack in his Super Saiyan form during the Universe Creation Saga in Dragon Ball Heroes.
- Kamehameha: A powerful ki blast fired with two hands after concentrating a large amount of ki.
- Super Kamehameha: A stronger version if the Kamehameha invented by Xeno Goku and his counterparts within their respective timelines. Xeno Goku's Super Attack in his base form in World Mission.
- 10x Kamehameha: Xeno Goku fires a power Kamehameha 10 times stronger than usual in Super Saiyan 4.
- Instant Kamehameha: Used by Super Saiyan 3 Xeno Goku as his Super Attack in Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle and Dragon Ball Heroes. In World Mission, it is named Warp Kamehameha.
- Instant Transmission 10x Kamehameha: Used by Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Goku as his super attack in Dragon Ball Heroes. In World Mission, it is named x10 Warp Kamehameha.
- God Kamehameha: A powerful variation of the Kamehameha.
- Super God Shock Flash: Goku places hand with his index and middle fingers out near his opponents chest then makes a fist to deliver a hard punch to the opponent's gut that blasts them away with a powerful shock-wave. Used by base Xeno Goku as his super attack in Dragon Ball Heroes. In World Mission, it is named Super Dragon Flash.
- Dragon Fist: A rush technique that causes a giant gold serpentine-dragon to appear as the user punches through their opponent's body.
- Full Power Dragon Fist: A much stronger variant used by Xeno Goku in his Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker form.
- Double Ultimate Dragon Fist: Two Dragon Fists, one used by Xeno Goku and the other used by a partner in a team attack.
- Limit Breaker Double Ultimate Dragon Fist: A variant of Double Dragon Fist, Xeno Goku and a partner both using Limit Breaker Dragon Fists in a team attack.

- EX Spirit Bomb Enervator: A variation of EX Spirit Bomb used by Xeno Goku in World Mission. When Goku is an Attacker from R2 onwards, use EX Spirit Bomb Enervator during his Attack Phase. Successfully perform card action to deal DMG to enemy. Number of allies boosts DMG. Ace for a permanent -2000 PWR to all enemies.
- Unknown EX Spirit Bomb: A variation of EX Spirit Bomb used by Super Saiyan 4 Xeno Goku in World Mission. When Goku is an Attacker from R2 (Round 2) onwards, use Unknown EX Spirit Bomb during his Attack Phase. Successfully perform card action to deal DMG to enemy. Number of allies boosts DMG. Ace for a permanent -3000 PWR to all enemies & permanently increase enemy team CI (Charge Impact) speed.
- Spirit Control: An advanced ki manipulation ability that allows its user to achieve a multitude of abilities.
- Instant Transmission: A technique for traveling long distances instantly. This action is usually accompanied by the user placing his index and middle fingers on his forehead to help him concentrate, though if extra time is taken the technique can be performed without this aid.
- Fusion Dance: A short series of poses that are performed by two characters of equal power levels and roughly equal size. To correctly perform the Fusion, the fusees must strike the poses in a perfectly symmetrical image of one another. The result of a correctly performed Fusion Dance is a superior being whose power is multiplied several-fold over that of the individual fusees.
- Super Saiyan: During his battle with Frieza on Planet Namek, Xeno Goku achieved this legendary transformation prior to becoming a Time Patroller. In this form, Xeno Goku gains a slight increase in muscle and height and his skin turns lighter. His eyes become noticeably sterner and more defined with green eyes. His hair also becomes blond and stands with no lose strands. His power also generates a golden aura which showcases the intensity of his power from electrical sparks radiating in his aura. This form multiples his power exponentially, from ten times to fifty times depending on the sources stated by guidebooks and commentaries from the creator himself.
- Super Saiyan 3: Like his main timeline counterpart, Xeno Goku is capable of transforming into a Super Saiyan 3. In this form, his hair reaches down to his thighs and his eyebrows vanish completely while making the forehead and eye ridges larger and more prominent. His muscle mass grows noticeable larger more defined while his eyes gain green irises. His aura also becomes rounder with larger electrical sparks. This form is eight times stronger than an ordinary Super Saiyan. He uses this form to knocks out Gravy with a single headbutt in one of the game's openings.
- Super Saiyan 4: Xeno Goku is capable of transforming into a Super Saiyan 4 at will. He only uses the form when absolutely necessary, as Chronoa has forbidden him from using it due to its potential to have an impact on time. He uses this form during his battle with Mira and Dark Broly, as well as his battles with Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Fu and Cumber on the Prison Planet. In World Mission, due to Xeno Vegeta rejecting Xeno Goku's suggestion they fuse in Chapter 3, Sub Chapter 4: "Legendary Super Saiyan Awakened", Xeno Goku & Xeno Vegeta agree to transform into their Super Saiyan 4 forms to combat Super Saiyan 4 Broly after he overpowers Beat. Working together with Super Saiyan Beat, the two Super Saiyan 4s are able to weaken Broly to the point Beat can finish him off. In the game, Xeno Goku briefly uses the Super Full Power Saiyan 4 form against Black Janemba, with power from Goku, Xeno Trunks and Xeno Pan.
- Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker: During the battle against Black Janemba, the remodeled foe's boosted power proved too much for Xeno Goku and his allies to handle. Instead, at the suggestion of Putine and Salsa, Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta, along with Super Saiyan God Xeno Trunks and Xeno Pan, transfered all their Saiya power onto both Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta. In this form, Xeno Goku's body is filled to the brim with overflowing ki. The normally reddish fur takes on a magenta hue, and his hair is highlighted with a crimson red color along with dark shadows, similar in appearance to that of Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta. He also gains a flowing purple aura similar to that of Perfected Ultra Instinct, and a skin-tight white aura when the primary aura is dissipated. Xeno Goku's voice even compared to his normal Super Saiyan 4 form becomes deeper and calmer. The combined energy pushed them far beyond their natural limits of Super Saiyan 4, obtaining a state that radiated with power. In this form, Xeno Goku's speed and power are dramatically increased.
- Xeno Vegito: Xeno Vegito is the Potara Fusion of Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta. They merge in order to battle Dark Demon God Xeno Buu. During the battle with the evil Saiyan Cumber, he transforms into a Super Saiyan 4.
- Xeno Gogeta: Xeno Gogeta is the Fusion Dance fusion of Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta. In the game they fuse in order to battle Xeno Janemba, and in the Special Movie for SDBH8 fuse again to battle Demon God Xeno Dabura as a Super Saiyan 4. In the manga they fuse to battle Demon God Shroom, and later the gathered Demon Gods in the Demon Realm.
- Fusion of Ki: Thanks to Chronoa's assistance, Xeno Goku and his main timeline countepart are able to perform a fusion of their ki, in this state their powers are both amplified massivley for a short time. The temporary state was used to battle against Fu.
Other
Standard Tactics: Goku will employ hand to hand combat along with ki attacks.
Weaknesses
- Standard Ki Weaknesses: Ki users that do not have sufficient training over their emotions put their power within a mental lock, thus affects to their emotions can seriously limit their powers[148], their emotions can also have them instinctively block using the full power of their attacks out of fear of the destruction along with lack of confidence in themselves[149]. If a Ki user is inflicted with any kind of status, disease, or poison, powering up or transforming will put further strain on the body[150] and can speed up the process of poison[151]. Users of Ki Sensing cannot sense beings that invisible, even if the character is in front of them attacking them, they have a hard time countering them due to being invisible[152]. Users of Ki Sensing also have a harder time sensing the true being using illusions, requiring them to focus in on energy fields to see who is moving and who is casting the illusion[153]. Due to the nature of ki draining stamina and energy, Dragon Ball characters ki usage requires them to usually use their higher levels of energy in short bursts, using a large amount of ki overtime can greatly weaken them to the point that characters far lower then them can actually harm them with attacks[154]. Taking large amounts of damage can greatly deplete a ki users attacks, making it where attacks that would otherwise kill massively weakened characters, only pushes them back[155]. Ki users cannot put all of their ki and strength into an attack if parts of their body are broken/injured[156][157], they also lose half of their chi if something like one of their arms are badly injured or broken[158].Ki users that are able to ki sense cannot do it when their guard is dropped, such as when Vegeta was able to sneak attack Son Goku during the end of their fight in the Buu Saga[159]. Despite some ki users being able to reach blasts that can destroy planets through charged attacks or techniques[160][161][162][163], they have not shown to be able to tank such blasts themselves[164][165][166], with attacks that have[167] destroyed several[168] planets in the series[169] always killing the character. Even characters such as Majin Buu's body cannot withstand the energy of a planet exploding[170]. Using ki volley attacks come with the caveat of their aim being rather poor, making it harder to hit moving targets. If ki users are at all possessed, even by accident, their true self will be sleeping within, with the possessor needing to awaken them[171]. Even if awoken, they are immobilized and unable to move without the possessor giving them the ability to[172], even with them wanting to wake up, they cannot do it[173]. Specific waves can can suppress a ki users power, and put their consciousness to sleep[174]. If Ki users stamina is broken, they will unable to be able to continue fighting for a short while, this will also cancel out any ki attack they were attempting to use, including ultimate's[175], this also adds on that ki users guards are down while charging ultimate attacks. Their stamina can also be broken if a character moves far too fast and surprise attacks them while they're charging their ki[176]. Ki Users can also be grabbed out of charging their attacks[177]. When ki users radiate their Ki at its highest, their body is also freed the most, making them open to attacks and making them easy to possess[178]. Ki attacks can be blocked by magma based attacks, such as even when Vegeta's strongest charged blast, the final flash, was being blocked by Magetta's magma[179]. Ki users have far lower reactions and speeds when they do not have their ki up or are not on guard, such as when Mai's sniper would've hit Goku Black if she didn't miss[180].
- Turtle Hermit Style Weaknesses: As the style does not incorporate any real fighting techniques[181], it has a heavy reliance on durability[182], stamina[183], muscles and speed[184], along with agility[185], thus anyone with superior statistics then them can easily overpower this style[186], along with this any character capable of using attacks that bypass defense altogether such as pressure point strikes can easily overcome a turtle hermit style user, even if they use extra forms and techniques to heighten their defenses[187]. Thus anyone with techniques that ignore statistics or are simply higher in statistics than a Turtle Hermit Style user can easily overcome this style.
- Saiyan Weaknesses: Saiyans cannot survive in the vacuums of space[188]. If the moon is at all destroyed, they cannot transform into Great Apes. Along with this if their tail is cut off or they have no tail, they will not be able to turn into a Great Ape. Saiyans used to having their tails can feel off balance with it removed.
- Unique Weaknesses: Goku will not immediately go all out during a battle to size up his opponent and see how strong they are unless he openly needs too, making his guard low in some cases. Goku notes he's at a disadvantage when fighting underwater[192].
Note
- Some clips used on the profile come from an anime or movie due to the fact that some abilities from ki use shouldn't function much differently from how they can in canon, along with this sometimes the anime version/video game version of a scene will be used for cleaner visuals. Toriyama himself directly overlooks scenes in the anime and movies and gives Toei the thumbs up[193].
- The speed scaling for PLs are taken with a grain of salt as there are noticeable times where someone's speed isn't equal to their power, such as Burter being faster then Recoome and Jeice, along with Super Saiyan Grade 3 Trunks having his power greatly increased but his speed decreased.

Codex Statistics Questions
Q: What about the planetary feats in Dragon Ball?
A: Planetary feats are normally done through their strongest charged blast, where they can gather ki to shoot out blast far beyond what the character is normally capable of[194], with blasts capable of[195] seriously damaging/destroying[196] the Earth along with completely obliterating the opponent[197], though they themselves are never capable of leaving this unscathed.
Frieza throws a destroy the planet death ball attack but it doesn't destroy the planet. Goku then interestingly notes the reason the planet didn't blow up is because Frieza was too scared of getting caught in the blast[198] . Vegeta's final flash is noted it's going to destroy the planet and Perfect Cell, who is beyond Vegeta, couldn't tank the blast and had to dodge it last second or it would've killed him[199]. Goku's kamehameha was going to destroy the earth and Cell cannot tank this blast, needing to regenerate[200]. Semi-Perfect Cell explosion was consistently noted it was going to destroy the planet and Gohan and it killed Goku[201]. Ultimate Gohan dies to an attack that destroys the earth, his guard was up too since this was when he was fighting Super Buu[202]. Kid Buu shoots a blast trying to destroy the planet, with Vegeta noting he's going to take himself out with it if he lets it off[203]. In Dragon Ball GT, Great Ape Baby Vegeta shoots a super galick gun that he claims will destroy Earth, when Goku is hit by it, he is knocked out to the point that he can't move for a good while, Elder Kai and Shin later state that Baby is going to shoot another blast that will destroy the planet on, greatly injuring Baby if he's caught in the Blast and will kill everyone on the planet if done[204]. Frieza destroyed the entire earth, killing Vegeta in the process[205]. In the Dragon Ball Super Manga, Gohan tells Goku that he doesn't need to hold anything back and can go all out because anything that happens to the Earth can be restored with Dende and the Dragon Balls. Yet, none of Goku's all out attacks destroy the planet but just heavily causes shockwaves around it[206]. Semi-Perfect Cell unleashes a several blast that destroys several islands Android 16 notes that the attacks are just strong enough to not kill Android 18[207].
In the fight of Trunks vs. Mecha Frieza, who is far stronger than his final form, Mecha Frieza immediately goes for his strongest attack, the Supernova. In the original Z anime King Kai even states this is ten times stronger than the power he used on Namek:
- DBZ Kai Version[208].
- Original DBZ Anime Version[209]. The attack is directly noted that it could destroy the planet, but doesn't because Trunks catches it, when Mecha Frieza proceeds to detonate it, the explosion is massive but the planet is still intact, implying Frieza must target the core in order to destroy the planet.
