Background

Schisms are enemies from the FPS game Ultrakill. They are about as powerful as Strays with the exception being that they fire more projectiles, have less aim control and possess higher durability. The reason they're an amalgamation of Husks is due to two souls attempting to manifest in the same position. This gives them twice the body mass, the result of their resistance to damage, however they cannot aim well and have to make up for this with a barrage of projectiles in a general direction.

Statistics

Tier: At least 9-C

Name: Schism

Origin: Ultrakill

Sex: Sexless

Age: Varies

Classification: Greater Husk

Dimensionality: 3-D

Attack Potency: At least Wall Level (They are lethal to humans and are superior to Filth. They should be comparable to Soldiers)

Durability: At least Wall level, possibly higher (They are resistant to damage due to having twice the body mass of the average Husk)

Striking Strength: Likely at least Wall Class

Lifting Strength: Unknown

Travel Speed: Transonic+ (They downscale to V1)

Combat Speed: Transonic+

Reaction Speed: Transonic+

Stamina: High (They're likely comparable to Filth)

Range: Standard Melee, Extended Melee Range to Tens of Meters with projectiles

Standard Equipment

Nothing notable

Other

Standard Tactics: They fire a barrage of energy orbs at their target.

Weaknesses: They have very poor motor control and zero aim control.

Background

Strays are enemies from the FPS game Ultrakill. They are like the Filth in that they are Husks, however they are more powerful as shown via having a complete physical form, more capabilities and higher stats in general. They throw projectiles channeled from Hell Energy in efforts to kill V1. Although they are not as weak as Filth, they are still considered lesser Husks and are thus in the same category.

Statistics

Tier: 9-C

Name: Stray

Origin: Ultrakill

Sex: Sexless

Age: Varies

Classification: Lesser Husk

Dimensionality: 3-D

Attack Potency: Wall level (They are lethal to humans and are superior to Filth)

Durability: Wall level

Striking Strength: Likely Wall Class

Lifting Strength: Unknown

Travel Speed: Transonic+ (They downscale to V1)

Combat Speed: Transonic+

Reaction Speed: Transonic+

Stamina: High (Likely comparable to Filth)

Range: Standard Melee Range, Extended Melee Range to Hundreds of Meters with projectiles

Intelligence: Animalistic (They have low intelligence and act off instinct alone)

Powers and Abilities

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, possibly Undead Physiology (They are portrayed as zombies), Energy Manipulation (They can fire Hell Energy projectiles), Power Modification (They can cause their projectiles to selectively ignore Filth in their firing range), Resistance to Heat Manipulation, Fire Manipulation (They're unharmed by fire), Non-Physical Interaction (Every character in the game is able to interact with hell, with hell being stated to be an idea and more abstract, without an actual physical space)

Standard Equipment

None notable

Other

Standard Tactics: They will distance themselves from their target out of fear before charging and throwing projectiles.

Weaknesses: They are fearful of close-range combat, causing them to distance themselves and throw projectiles from afar. If they are approached up-close after the fact they don't run, rather choosing to charge and throw projectiles.

Background

Filth are the weakest enemies and common fodder of the FPS game Ultrakill. They are humanoid creatures bearing no arms with sharp teeth that are driven by hunger. The reason for their form is because they Husks, manifestations of the souls of the damned; their strength and size is determined based off of their remembrance in the living world and their willpower. They are the weakest willed and most unimportant of Husks, and as such cannot even manifest a complete body.

MANKIND IS DEAD. BLOOD IS FUEL. HELL IS FULL.
~ V1's operative statement

Background

V1 is the main protagonist and playable character of the FPS game ULTRAKILL.

In the world of ULTRAKILL, robots are fueled on human blood; after the robot uprising led to the extinction of humanity, many robots (including V1) flocked to Hell in search of more blood from its denizens, angering the Demons and, eventually,  ; as robots are fueled by human blood, many robots, including V1, reached the logical conclusion to invade Hell and kill its denizens for their valuable blood.

V1 was the first of the short-lived "V" model; a combat android designed with a unique exterior plating that can absorb blood for fuel on-contact, rather than through a dedicated refueling process; this, coupled with its agility and on-the-fly repairs, would have made it a nigh-unstoppable weapon of war had the "New Peace" not occurred, ending all wars.

A second prototype, V2, was made before the series' total cancellation and, eventually, the extinction of humanity; it's likely that V1 and V2 are the only existing V models to exist.

V1 uses a Revolver, Shotgun, Nailgun and Railcannon (with each weapon sporting multiple forms) and can even switch out its arm on the fly in order to carve through the swarms of enemies it encounters. Said enemies typically fall under the categories of Husk, Demon, Machine, or Angel (though there are a few unique adversaries).

Statistics

Tier: High 8-C

Name: V1, "Machine"

Origin: Ultrakill

Sex: Sexless

Age: Unknown

Classification: Combat Robot

Dimensionality: 3-D

Attack Potency: Large Building level+ (It can harm those that can harm it. It regularly kills the Cerberus, a standard enemy capable of this. It defeated Minos and can inflict grave damage upon him. It defeated Gabriel, leaving him with wounds of body and soul, and it can also temporarily incapacitate him, who previously defeated Minos with one strike. Its comparable to those that can harm it)

Durability: Large Building level+ (It can tank multiple attacks from Minos, although they do significant damage. It can tank many of its own explosions, whereas a single explosion can cause this)

Striking Strength: Large Building Class+

Lifting Strength: Unknown

Travel Speed: Transonic+ (The shotgun fires tangible projectiles that it can outpace and interact with midair, whereas the projectiles should be faster than this. It can easily escape shockwaves which are typically this fast), Massively Hypersonic with Perception Manipulation

Combat Speed: Transonic+ on its own, Supersonic to High Hypersonic to Massively Hypersonic with weapons, Massively Hypersonic with Perception Manipulation

Reaction Speed: High Hypersonic to Massively Hypersonic (It can perceive and react to the expansion of explosions), Massively Hypersonic with Perception Manipulation

Stamina: Limitless

Range: Standard Melee, Several Meters to Tens of Meters to Kilometers with weapons and abilities

Intelligence: Genius combat-wise (It's a highly intelligent combat robot capable of mastering various weapons instantly upon acquiring them. It has defeated ancient beings with much greater faculties than it such as Minos and Gabriel. It can fix and rebuild itself on the fly and swap weapons and strategies at such a pace as well. Machines in ULTRAKILL are highly capable combat-wise and can create their own weapons via salvaging scrap, to the point where they armored beyond recognition. It salvaged the Knuckleblaster arm dropped from V2 and made it a regular part of its equipment. It was developed for field combat at war. Its strategic prediction allows it to reflect enemy attacks with pinpoint accuracy before they even fire)

Powers and Abilities

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, H2H Combat Ability, Acrobatics, Genius Intelligence (Combat wise), Inorganic Physiology (Via being a robot), Weapon Mastery (As soon as it finds a weapon it instantly uses it with warlike efficiency), Dimensional Storage (Shown with it storing weapons), Acrobatics (Via its mobility options), Human Achievements (It killed a majority of Hell single-handedly and defeated the V2 prototype, Minos and Gabriel), Non-Physical Interaction (Its shots inflicted Gabriel with wounds of body and soul. It can smash soul orbs and tag Minos, who has traces of its original soul in its body.), Blood Manipulation (Its fueled by blood and heals itself with it. It drains the blood of its targets by damaging them. It can drain blood from statues, long-dead corpses and machines. The Screwdriver fires a drill that embeds in an enemy and rapidly releases their blood with extra healing range. By changing its calibrations it can increase the amount of blood enemies release), Absorption (It has plates that absorb blood), Bloodlust (It invaded and killed a majority of Hell's denizens, including anyone who intervened, for the sake of getting blood as fuel. Any other decision or information was irrelevant to it), Information Analysis (It can analyze books within seconds to find select information in them it needs or finds relevant), Technological Manipulation, Sound Manipulation, Power Modification, Empathic Manipulation, Damage Boost, Damage Reduction, Biological Manipulation (It can change its calibrations at any time. This allows it to control projected sound, along with the speed, aggression and damage of enemies. It can use this to create a situation where attacks are easy to avoid but carelessness is lethal, or one where quick thinking, situational awareness and mobility options are essential. It can also enable assists and increase the amount of blood enemies release), Physics Manipulation (Via the Dash), Healing (It heals itself by basking in enemy blood. The Screwdriver fires a drill that embeds in an enemy and rapidly releases their blood with extra healing range), Vibration Manipulation (It can create shockwaves on its own and with the Knuckleblaster), Soul Manipulation (Its shots inflicted Gabriel with wounds of body and soul. It can smash soul orbs and tag Minos, who has traces of its original soul in its body), Empathic Manipulation (It can anger machines and statues through disrespecting them with punches), Durability Negation (Can harm souls), Weapon Creation (It can create and toss coins with the Marksman), Homing Attack (Coins it shoots midair deflect into the nearest enemy's weakpoint. They can also deflect into other coins to extend the range), Damage Boost (The Feedbacker can parry attacks to do more damage), Power Modification (The Feedbacker can parry shotgun bullets to make them explosive), Explosion Manipulation (The Core Eject ejects shotgun cores that explode on impact. The Feedbacker can parry shotgun bullets to make them explosive. Overcharging the Pump Charge causes it to explode when fired. The Malicious instantly fires an explosion beam), Perception Manipulation (Upon killing all the enemies of a room, its perception briefly briefly slows; it also did this when wanting to perceive Swordsmachine and V2), Precognition, Attack Reflection (Type 2 [Precognition]. The Feedbacker can parry attacks to reflect them. This includes normal and homing projectiles, attacks that haven't fired, melee or ranged weapons and melee attacks. It can also parry all of these by shooting the attacker. It can reflect energy, explosive, holy and soul attacks, among many others. Even the shockwaves it creates with the Knuckleblaster can deflect projectiles. Its reflection is described as strategic prediction of enemy attacks), Statistics Amplification (The Pump Charge pumps the shotgun to make its next shots more powerful. The Red Orbs can double its vitality over its limit), Magnetism Manipulation (The Attractor can fire a magnet attracting nearby nails. These magnets can be stuck on enemies and surfaces alike), Heat Manipulation (The Overheat can overheat itself to fire more nails at a raging speed), Negation (The Overheat's heat can set enemies on fire and harm them, whereas they resist this. The Screwdriver prevents enemies from teleporting), Electricity Manipulation (The Electric fires a piercing electric shot), Fire Manipulation, Status Effect Inducement (Its stronger explosions can set enemies on fire, even underwater. The Overheat has the same effect), Resistance to Heat Manipulation (It's unaffected by being near lava), Fire Manipulation (It's unaffected by sitting in fire), Energy Manipulation, Explosion Manipulation, Holy Manipulation, Light Manipulation, Acid Manipulation (It endures minor physical damage from energy/explosive/holy/light/acid attacks) and Limited Resistance to Attack Reflection (A lot of its projectiles can be reflected but the Pistols' and Railcannons' projectiles cannot be), Non-Physical Interaction (Every character in the game is able to interact with hell, with hell being stated to be an idea and more abstract, without an actual physical space)

He was tasked by the angelic Council to uphold the light of God in a valiant light, however he fails to do so in their eyes once he loses in an encounter with V1. After this the light is ripped from his being, and he is told to smite V1 in order to bring honor back to his name. In time, he will perish without the presence of his light.

He also makes use of a spear combo attack, where he teleports above his target and performs a helmbreaker before teleporting somewhere else above them and throwing an explosive spear. In between these attacks, Gabriel can throw twin axes. In his second phase he gains more speed and aggression, even adding more strikes in his attacks. He can also manifest swords around him to prevent his target from getting close to perform a melee attack.

Weaknesses: He is prone to anger when beaten by those he seeks as lesser than him. Without his light he dies over time. Occasionally he stops attacking to taunt his opponent out of pride.

MANKIND IS DEAD.
BLOOD IS FUEL.
HELL IS FULL.

Background

Ultrakill is an old-school first person shooter video game developed by Arsi "Hakita" Patala and published by New Blood Interactive, otherwise known as New Blood. The game focuses on intense, arcade, arena-style gameplay where the player dives deeper into Hell level by level, using an onslaught of violent weapons and inhuman abilities to mass-murder the Hell denizens they encounter along the way.

It's well-known for its weapon mechanics, beat-heavy DnB soundtrack, and its style meter that builds up the better the player fights. It draws inspiration from older first person shooters that paved the way for the genre, such as Doom, Quake and Duke Nukem. Its publisher, New Blood Interactive, is notorious for supporting the creation and publication of these old-school first person shooters. They have also published projects such as Dusk, FAITH and Amid Evil.

Further game details:

The game's weaponry consists of fundamental weapons; the Pistol, Shotgun, Nailgun, Railcannon, and Arm. The Pistol is a hitscan weapon that makes use of "locational damage" and instantly fires, with three variants; One for piercing charged shots, one with stronger bullets, and one for homing attacks that makes use of a coin. The Shotgun fires tangible close-range projectiles, meaning they can be outpaced, however this also lets the player punch them midair to make them more powerful. It has two variants; one for launching explosives, and one for charging the potency of the normal fire.

The Nailgun fires tangible short to mid-range projectiles in the form of nails. It fires these at the fastest rate of any weapon in the game, and as such acts more like an assault rifle or machinegun than anything. It has two variants; one for attracting fired projectiles, and one for firing at even faster rates for a short time. The Railcannon acts like the Pistol in that it's a hitscan weapon using "locational damage" and instantly firing, however in addition it has the most damage of any other weapon. This is compromised with a high cooldown time. It has three variants; one for piercing multiple targets, one for bloodletting powerful enemies, and one for causing large explosions that take out large groups of enemies.

The final weapon in the game is the Arm. It's used for simple melee attacks, however close-range damage in Ultrakill is rewarded with healing the player, making the Arm exceptionally useful. It has two variants; one for decent damage that can parry attacks and reflect projectiles, and one for high damage/knockback that can create shockwaves to launch enemies. It is currently planned for there to be four variants of every weapon, in addition to at least two more weapon types.

The levels of the game take place in the various layers of Hell, in a theme much resembling that of Dante's Inferno. The prologue levels take place in the Hellmouth, with the player eventually passing through the gate to Hell. The gate bears the same quote as the gate from Dante's Inferno, demanding "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here." Here the player learns the basics and battles important enemies such as the Swordsmachine and the Cerberus. There are only three layers to the game thus far, however it is planned for all nine from the original Inferno to be included.

The first layer of Hell is Limbo, featuring beautiful foliage decorating sacred, heavenly environments. It's merely a beautiful environment infested with Husks and Machines until the player advances into the second level, The Burning World, where the luscious green landscape of Limbo has been set ablaze by the Hell denizens. The third level of Limbo takes place in a medieval castle where the player faces their first truly powerful demon, the Hideous Mass. They defeat it, and on the last level of Limbo, they roam a peaceful castle and garden under the night sky. As they prepare to enter the next layer, they encounter and battle the counterpart to their character V1, a powerful Machine named V2. They promptly defeat him, take his Arm, and dive deeper into Hell.

The second layer of Hell is Lust, featuring melancholic city-like environments that have been thoroughly corrupted. The player first climbs a skyscraper, advances across a bridge and then repeats this process to escape the first level, Bridgeburner. As they leave, they turn to find King Minos's corpse trudging along in the distance. They enter an arena partially resembling a village, and then pass through a water-infested factory, encountering enemies such as the Mindflayer. As they make their way to the end of the layer, they face the walking corpse of King Minos, controlled by the parasites he used to command.

As they battle their way into the current final layer, Gluttony, the are noticed by the likes of Gabriel, a supreme Angel. He warns them that they're going against divine will and should be aware of the dangers involved, that he will eliminate them if they persist. Being stubborn, they do, and they ultimately face Gabriel in an intense no holds barred fight. In a twist of fate, the player wins, and as Gabriel returns to Heaven they dive deeper into Hell still.

The enemies they encounter during this process are separated into three primary categories; Husk, Demon and Machine. Although there are some exceptions such as Something Wicked and Gabriel, a majority of the enemies can be identified in this way. Husks are the manifestations of souls damned to Hell, and are portrayed with zombie-like forms. Demons are creatures indigenous to Hell that are evil by nature, with bulkier and more abstract forms. Machines are robots from the Earth Realm with specific goals that vary greatly in ability.

The story behind the game is very simple. Mankind has died a long time ago, and so the Machines they left behind that remain roam free. Each has a different purpose; the Swordsmachines scavenge, the Streetcleaners burn organic matter, and the player character V1 searches for blood to fuel itself. It enters Hell and massacres the beings there in order to get the fuel it needs, with seemingly no end to its needs. After defeating Gabriel, the Angel has to answer to a divine political group in Heaven called the Council, which demote him and sentence him to death for his failure. In the time he has left, he has planned to kill V1 for his trespasses.

Power of the Verse

The main characters and powerful bosses are High 8-C with Transonic+ speed, however their reactions and combat speed can reach up to Massively Hypersonic, and Machines capable of using Perception Manipulation (V1 and V2) can increase their stats to Massively Hypersonic as well. The main abilities are Blood Manipulation, Attack Reflection and Soul Manipulation.

The most fodder characters of the verse are typically 9-C with Transonic+ speeds, however the greater fodder can reach 9-B. They all have very typical video game enemy abilities, such as Energy Manipulation, Fire Manipulation and Homing Attacks.
