~ Malus to Reinhardt Schneider

Background

Malus is the reincarnation of the Dark Lord, Count Dracula. In the year 1844, when Dracula was facing off against the man-beast, Cornell, Dracula forced Cornell to shed his beast form in order to rescue his adoptive sister, Ada. Thanks to this, Count Dracula was able to snatch Cornell’s man-beast powers, and died with them after Cornell struck him down.

After Dracula’s death, his servants were able to recover Cornell’s man-beast powers that he had snatched, and used those powers to ensure that Dracula would reincarnate into a new body. Sure enough, a young boy with blue hair was born to a couple in a forest cabin under a blood moon; Malus.

By the time Malus turned eight years old, he realized that he was Dracula reincarnated, but knew that he could not recover his full power and form, lest he reveal his presence to vampire hunters before he is ready. Because of this, Malus lamented that someone of his power had to have gone through childhood again.

Eventually, Dracula’s servants began kidnapping children and bringing them to Dracula’s Castle, as it was prophesied that the child Dark Lord would reveal himself in the castle. This included Malus, who saw the opportunity as a way to lure in vampire hunters and deceive them.

Eventually, his plans come to fruition, as the church sends in vampire hunters like Henry Oldrey and Reinhardt Schneider, along with the young Carrie Fernandez, to rescue these children and destroy the castle. Reinhardt and Carrie in particular come in contact with Malus, who he successfully deceives into growing closer with him.

However, after Reinhardt and Carrie destroy who they believe to be Count Dracula, Malus reveals himself by shooting at them with a bow & arrow, from atop a dark pegasus. Reinhardt and Carrie are both shocked as Malus is finally able to reveal his true identity, and ages himself into an adult form that can contain his full powers.

Malus and the vampire hunters face off in a legendary battle, with Malus even transporting them to an alternate realm and taking the form of a horrid dragon-like beast in order to stop them. However, Malus was unsuccessful in the battle, and was struck down. At last, the Dark Lord was defeated once more.

Codex Statistics

Tier: At least 2-C, likely Far Higher

Name: Malus, Dracula Vlad Ţepeş

Origin: Castlevania

Sex: Male

Age: 8 years old (Child Malus), 720 years old (Dracula)

Classification: Vampire, Dark Lord

Alignment: Chaotic Evil (Despite being a child, Malus retains the full memories of Dracula, who is entirely self-serving and evil to his very core. Malus will trick people and feign innocence all as a ploy to get what he wants, all entirely for his selfish ambitions of destruction and gaining power)

Dimensionality: 3-D

Attack Potency: At least Universe level, likely Far Higher (Although Malus takes place in an alternate timeline, we know the Castlevania multiverse is linked through Judgement, as Cornell appears in it despite also being from a separate timeline game; Thus, the characters should be similar in power between timelines. Malus is a reincarnation of Dracula and thus should be as strong as main-timeline Dracula; Dracula is above Galamoth, let alone the Time Reaper, who Galamoth controls. The Time Reaper was going to destroy the entire Castlevania Timeline. He also wields Cornell’s man-beast powers, which Cornell used to also defeat the Time Reaper)

Durability: At least Universe level, likely Far Higher (Comparable to the main timeline Dracula, who took hits from the Time Reaper; The Time Reaper was going to destroy the entire Castlevania Timeline)

Striking Strength: At least Universe Class, likely Far Higher

Lifting Strength: Unknown

Travel Speed: Superhuman (Should scale above Leon Belmont, who was able to escape Walter's Castle by running from the top floor to the entrance, before the entire structure collapsed. Also has access to a horse; the average horse runs at 88 km/h)

Combat Speed: Faster Than Light

Reaction Speed: Faster Than Light (Should be comparable to main timeline Dracula, who generated a light beam. Being Dracula means he also scales to Trevor Belmont, who was able to outpace Nuculais, a being composed entirely of light. Should be above Leon Belmont, who outpaced Medusa, who could produce beams from her eyes on several occasions; these beams were confirmed to be comprised of light. Should scale to the other reincarnation of Dracula, Soma Cruz, who could outpace Paranoia; Paranoia can generate beams of energy from its hands, confirmed to be comprised of light. Being Count Dracula should put him about Count Olrox as well, who could generate a beam, which was confirmed to be light-based)

Stamina: Limitless (With the Crimson Stone, Dracula was given immortality and longevity that allows for him to keep going naturally, unless he is killed through outside means. His power is sourced in the primordial god, Chaos, who should not have stamina whatsoever. The only time he is seen sleeping is when he is biding his time, or during times when he is dead)

Range: Standard Melee, Tens of Meters with teleportation, Multi-Universal with powers (his power is sourced from Chaos, which resides in a completely separate realm)

Intelligence: Supergenius (Retains the same intelligence he had as Count Dracula, despite the new childlike body. On top of Dracula’s already astounding centuries of genius, Malus was able to trick the heroes into believing a different man was Dracula, while playing himself up to be an innocent boy)
