About Us

Introduction

Welcome to The Codex Wiki! The purpose of this wiki is to index characters, weapons, items, civilizations, localizations, and many more from both fiction and the real world! We do this as a hobby. One of the most interesting parts about it is when a person shows interest in a new fictional franchise that we’ve indexed and possibly finds one of their favorite franchises they wouldn’t have found otherwise through it. This even helps give one a new perspective on a verse they’ve known before.

Before you continue on into the wiki, we suggest that you read the rest of the material on our home page. It offers context for some of our standards, offers examples of how to do things, an introduction to our staff members, etc.

Contrary to popular belief, the wiki is not a versus debating or powerscaling wiki. It has elements within versus threads and some of the statistics but it is overall a wiki for profiling and indexing characters.

The following is in effect for each member of managing staff, without exception.

• The site and the managing staff are not responsible for the content of members' posts.

• The content of all articles is the individual responsibility of the member, and any subsequent impact must be borne by the individual and alone, not the site.

• The site disclaims all knowledge and responsibility for the inappropriate conduct of any member in any form, including, but not limited to, vandalism, spamming, trolling, inflammatory speech, etc.

• In addition, the wiki cannot be held responsible for any form of misconduct or violation of rules, regulations, terms of use, protocols, and policies having legal effect, by a member, directly or indirectly, intentionally or not.

• This wiki also contains fairly violent content and swearing on certain profiles. If you find said content particularly disturbing, we’d recommend not going on those profiles. If you feel it breaches our site’s standards report the profile and we will see if it needs to be deleted.

• Help to fix grammar or page structure errors, and to reword crude language is highly appreciated as long as you aren’t trying to change a profile without permission. If you believe noticeable changes are required, you can attempt to request them on the discussion tabber of a page.

• The site is not responsible to help you if you have breached one of our rules, as we assume by default that you engaged in the responsibility of reading the terms of use correctly.
