Background

The Clock Men are a pair of time-controlling robots that are included as a part of the seven powerful Robot Masters known as the Dimensions led by Rockman Shadow, who traveled from the future with the purpose of destroying the world in Rockman & Forte: Mirai Kara no Chōsensha. As see in their concept art, one is red with orange arms and the other is purple with blue arms.

The Clock Men have a time-stopping ability called the Time Switch, but even without this power, their dual attacks make them deadly combatants against almost any foe. However, the Clock Men can be slowed down and weakened by Aircon Man's Barrier Wind and Forte Cyclone attacks.

Clock Men's stage is opened after the defeat of Dangan Man, Konro Man, Aircon Man, and Komuso Man.

  • Time Switch: Time Switch is the special weapon Rockman obtains from the Clock Men in Rockman & Forte: Mirai Kara no Chōsensha. It can stop time for four seconds. While active Rockman can't shoot, but he can walk through stopped enemies and their attacks without suffering damage.
  • Time Bomb: Time Bomb is the special weapon Forte obtains from the Clock Men in Rockman & Forte: Mirai Kara no Chōsensha. It can stop time for four seconds. While active Forte can't shoot, but he can walk through stopped enemies and their attacks without suffering damage.

Standard Tactics: The Clock Men will attack from opposite sides, shooting out energy projecitles and stopping time.

Weaknesses: Has a weakness to Aircon Man's barrier wind and Forte cyclone. If his data is corrupted, he will be incapable of coming back.

  • Despite there already being a Gemini Man in Rockman 3: Dr. Wily no Saigo!?, the Clock Men’s working name in their concept art was Gemini Man.
  • The Clock Men are the only Robot Masters to be actual twin robots. Others, such as Gemini Man, merely create copies.
  • The Clock Men's stage has a gravity changing direction gimmick similar to Gravity Man's stage in Rockman 5: Blues no Wana!?.
  • In Rockman ZX Advent, the description of the item "Comic (Orange)" is "An action comic about 2 talking wrist watches who team up for the greatest adventure in history.", alluding to the Clock Men.
  • The Clock Men's stage BGM is recycled from Astro Man's stage in Rockman & Forte.

Naturally, they each have a “consciousness”, although the level of every “cognitive circuit” embedded inside each one of them varies, producing as many different “personality” types as found in people… Just like you or I, they can speak, and have emotional responses like shyness, or anger, just as we do.
    Regarding their energy systems, many of them do utilize “solar energy” in some way.
