A space station, but that's not important. Listen: You are in a daze right now. You don't know who you are, why you're here, or what you're going to do next. You think I look familiar, but you're not sure if you should trust me- ...None of that matters. All you need to know is that I'm leaving, and you will be left all alone on this space station. From now on, you needn't think about your past or doubt yourself. Listen: In the near future, you will encounter all kinds of perils and hardships, but you will also have many wonderful experiences. You'll meet companions who treat you like family, and embark on surreal adventures with them... At the end of your journey, all that perplexes you and troubles you will resolve. This is your future that Elio has foreseen. Do you like it?
~ Kafka to The Trailblazer
A member of the Stellaron Hunters. A dashing, collected, and professional beauty. Used the enchantment of Spirit Whisper to set up (Trailblazer) to absorb the Stellaron. Her hobby is shopping for and organizing her collection of coats.

Background

Kafka is a playable character in Honkai: Star Rail.

A member of the Stellaron Hunters who is calm, collected, and beautiful. Her record on the wanted list of the Interastral Peace Corporation only lists her name and her hobby. People have always imagined her to be elegant, respectable, and in pursuit of things of beauty even in combat.

It is unknown what the Stellaron's true goal is by the IPC, but according to Kafka when she plays truth and lie with The Trailblazer, she seeks to follow the script of Elio as Elio promised her The Trailblazer will change her.

On the Intrastral Peace Corporation's wanted list, Kafka's entry only has two things- her name, and a single sentence: "Likes collecting coats." Little is known about this Stellaron Hunter.

Lore

On the Interastral Peace Corporation's wanted list, Kafka's record only shows her name and a note about her "interest in collecting coats." Little is known about this Stellaron Hunter aside from her being one of "Destiny's Slave" Elio's most trusted members. In order to achieve Elio's envisioned future, Kafka gets to work.

The cognition from the fragments of the subconsciousness in the Memory Zone created various enemies imbued with a specific cogniton from the subconscious[48]), Immortality (Immortal Metaphysical Aspect; Characters in Star Rail can forgot their physical bodies, and still exist, this is mainly shown with Memokeepers that follow the Path of Rememberance, sacrificing their wordly bodies allow them to traverse the universe in the form of memes[49], with these memetic entities possessing no moral flesh, unconstrained by physical limits being made purley of ideas and memories[50], with memes themself being an idea, behavior, style, or usage that spreads from person to person within a culture. Noted by a Garden of Recollection Member that even if all matter is annihilated, it can continue to live on in the form of memories[51]), Reliance ([On Memories]; To prevent oneself from being forgotten from the world, one makes the world remember them if they are forgotten then they use their memories to re-create the world[52]), Non-Standard Interaction (Metaphysical Interaction; All characters are able to interact with Wubbaboos, a subspecies of Astral Spirits, that exist in the form of spiritual entites[53]. Along with this, immortality and resurrection is seen as a mere status effect within Honkai: Star Rail as characters like Pela can debuff the Mara-Struck Soldiers ability to revive themself making it where they die that the Mara-Struck does not heal them as opposed to the other soldier who wasn't debuffed).

All party members can interact with and take fire-based hits from Blaze Out of Space, where it's armor is noted to burn with the burning flames in the core of stars[63], which is about 15 million degrees celcius[64], it is also noted in the data entry that it incinerates anything it touches[65]), Air Manipulation (All party members can interact with the Windspawn, not taking any wind shear status effect from it, where its data file notes that it is engulfed in twisting winds, raging on like a tornado[66]. Party members are able to take the effects of wind shear, with it eventually going away), Electricity Manipulation (All party members can interact with the Thunderspawn, not taking any shock status effect from it, where its data file notes its brimming with electricity, releasing thunderclaps in all directions[67]. This effect can only be triggered 1 time per turn.

At trace level 2, lightning damage increases to 51%. At trace level 3, lightning damage increases to 61%. At trace level 4, lightning damage increases to 71%. At trace level 5, lightning damage increases to 81%. At trace level 6, lightning damage increases to 91%. At trace level 7, lightning damage increases to 103%. Other

Standard Tactics: Kafka utilizes manipulation and will use her spirit whisper along with using her sword, guns, and explosives for attacks.

Weaknesses: When needing to reduce the potency of something she regularly can't reduce with her spirit whisper, she needs to focus all of her concentration leaving her vulnerable[134].

Note: While the speed seems somewhat high, Kafka herself never directly uses her gun against the party members as a standard attack, she always uses it as a follow up attack even in her boss fight after inflicting the shock status effect on them.

Explanations

Paths

The paths that Star Rail characters have in game are not the actual paths they follow, there is an innate difference between using the abilities of a path and being a Pathriders of that path[135] being apart of different factions[136]. For example, March 7th is listed under the Path of Preservation[137], though she is apart of the Trailblaze path as a member of the Astral Express[138], one does not necessarily need to be in a path to us their abilities either, the Trailblazer while they were trying to protect March 7th from the Doomsday Beast, created a forcefield[139], despite using abilities from Destruction[140]. Thus the path one has in game mainly refers to their abilities and not the actual path they follow, this applies with Light Cones too.
