Alia (エイリア) is a Reploid from the Mega Man X series who serves as an Operator, Navigator, and Computer Specialist for the Maverick Hunters. First introduced in Mega Man X5, she assists X, Zero, Axl, and other Hunters by briefing them on their missions and guiding them through various areas. Alia provides updates on objectives, enemy activity, and recent developments while also managing transfer operations at Hunter Base. In Mega Man X8, she can be unlocked as a secret playable character alongside her fellow Navigators, Layer and Pallette. As a playable character, she mimics X's abilities but is unable to equip Armor Parts, which limits her capabilities. Prior to joining the Maverick Hunters, Alia worked as a Reploid Research scientist and shared a close connection with her colleague, Gate.

Researcher days Before joining the Maverick Hunters, Alia worked as a Reploid researcher specializing in engineering advancements. During this time, she had longer hair, which she later restored in Mega Man X8. One of her colleagues was Gate, a scientist obsessed with the unanalyzable DNA of X and Zero. Gate devoted himself to creating Reploids with similar attributes, ultimately succeeding and earning widespread praise. However, his achievements caused envy and hostility among his peers. Alia reluctantly became involved in a conspiracy among the researchers to sabotage Gate's creations, leading to the destruction of Blizzard Wolfang and Gate's associate Ground Scaravich. Though forced into these actions, Alia deeply regretted her role. After Gate departed in bitterness and anger, Alia chose to start anew by joining the Maverick Hunters. Mega Man X5 Alia debuted as X and Zero's Navigator, providing guidance and mission support. While her role focused on level navigation, she briefly appeared in the ending where Zero went Maverick and X's memories of him were erased. She expressed doubts about X's return, hinting at an unseen force behind the events. Mega Man X6 In Mega Man X6, Alia's backstory and character were expanded. Gate, her former colleague, acquired a fragment of Zero's remains, using it to develop the Nightmare Virus and create High-Max and the Zero Nightmare. These creations were part of his plan to discredit Zero while positioning himself as a hero for Reploids. As X (and the later-recovered Zero) confronted Gate's Nightmare Investigators, Alia revealed her past involvement with Gate and the conspiracy against his creations. Feeling responsible for Gate's bitterness, she attempted to dissuade him from his destructive plans to create a nation for elite Reploids. Despite her efforts, Gate refused to surrender and fought X and Zero, ultimately being defeated. Severely damaged by Sigma, Gate's fate remained ambiguous after X recovered his remains, leaving it unclear whether Alia repaired him or not. Mega Man X7 In Mega Man X7, Alia resumed her role as Navigator, supporting the Hunters during the Red Alert incident. While she had no significant impact on the story, she appeared in all three endings. She contacted Zero in his ending, waking him from stasis, and discussed Axl's development in X and Axl's endings. Mega Man X8 Alia underwent a major design update in Mega Man X8, adopting a slimmer appearance with less bulky armor and letting her hair down, reminiscent of her researcher days. She continued to provide mission support, offering stage information, boss details, and insights into Axl's transformations. Alia analyzed the Copy Chip used by New Generation Reploids, revealing its connection to Sigma's DNA, and located Sigma's base on the moon. Her final in-game appearance was an off-screen call to X and the others after Lumine's defeat. As a hidden feature, Alia could be unlocked as a playable character after completing the game. This required using her as a Navigator more than Layer or Pallette, or entering a secret code. As a playable character, Alia mimicked X's abilities, including charging her Buster and acquiring Special Weapons from Mavericks. However, she could not use armor-based abilities or reduce damage and lacked pre-boss dialogue when selected. Like others, her stats and abilities could be upgraded using Rare Metals. |
Name: Alia
Origin: Mega Man X5
Assigned Gender: Female
Age: Unknown, at least an adult
Classification: Engineer
Species: Reploid
Occupation: Reploid Researcher (Formerly), Navigator, Maverick Hunter
Status: Destroyed (Despite never stating Alia has been destroyed, she never appears in Mega Man Z, and it's unlikely her body is still intact by Mega Man Legends)
Alignment: Lawful Good (As a part of the Maverick Hunters, Alia follows their command in assisting them to destroy the Mavericks whenever they start to cause chaos. This is to protect both humans and Reploid lives. She still cared for Gate, despite becoming corrupted with power)
Tier: 5-B
Cardinality: Finite
Dimensionality: 3-D
Power Source: Solar Energy (Robot Masters[1][2][3] are built in with[4] usages of solar energy to charge their bodies and use their weapons essentially limitlessly[5])
Attack Potency: Planet level (Potency) (Fought and defeated Optic Sunflower, who used the data of the Final Weapon to perform his Earth Crush attack. Zero after gaining Optic Sunflower's weapon data can also use this attack with his Tenshouha technique. The Final Weapon was stated to be able to destroy the Earth and was going to be used by Sigma to do so. The data of things in Mega Man are portrayed as equal to their real world counterparts as shown consistently throughout the series multiple[6] times[7]. Optic Sunflower is also stated and shown to have control over data within cyberspace, being the root cause of the programs going haywire upon becoming Maverick. He also can download any data stored such as Cut Man's which was used to fight the Maverick Hunters. The Final Weapon's data should be stored as Mega Man Xtreme shows that the past data of entire stages is stored within cyberspaces. Comparable to Mega Man X who can fight and defeat emulated data[8][9] of himself and Awakened Zero fighting together at once. Comparable to Mega Man X who scales far above Mega Man and his era to the degree of Dr. Light putting a warning, him sealing X for 30 years, and him directly stating that no force on Earth would be able to stop him. Dr. Light even described the danger of X of being far beyond any of Dr. Wily's Incidents.[10] This would put him easily above Mega Man with his Double Gears and other Classic Era robots such as Duo whose fight with Evil Robot caused an explosion around Jupiter which was at this level)
Durability: Planet level (Can take hits from Optic Sunflower's Earth Crush, which uses the data of the Final Weapon from Mega Man X4, in which the Final Weapon was stated to be able to destroy the Earth and was going to be used by Sigma to do so. Survived hits from Lumine and Sigma)
Striking Strength: Planet Class (Potency)
Lifting Strength: At Least Class G (Should scale far above the degree of Mega Man who was able to hold up Dr. Wily’s fortress at the end of Mega Man 5)
Travel Speed: Massively Hypersonic (Scales far above Mega Man. Should be undoubtedly superior to Duo who can keep up with Duo, who can travel around the earth destroying evil energy around this timeframe)
Attack Speed: Massively Hypersonic (Scales far above Mega Man and Duo. Comparable to X and Zero)
Reaction Speed: Massively Hypersonic (Comparable to both X and Zero)
Stamina: Limitless
Range: Standard Melee to Hundreds of Meters
Intelligence: Supergenius Intelligence (Alia is the primary navigator for the Maverick Hunters. She guides X, Zero, and Axl throughout their missions and gives out various information on the locations and tips about the various Mavericks and other enemies they battle. Quickly rebuilt X's Falcon Armor, only losing the dash function in result. Discovered the origin of the Nightmare and its properties. She can also build the Falcon Armor and Gaea Armor from data given by Dr. Light. Former researcher at the Reploid Researcher Team. It's heavily implied that Alia created the Mother Elf)
