~ Grant Danasty |
Background
Grant Danasty was a young man who grew up in Wallachia during the 15th Century. Once an incredibly skilled thief and pirate captain, Grant was hit by tragedy when Count Dracula's curse over Europe came underway. Monsters ravaged Grant's land, killing his friends and family, and leaving only him alive. Influenced by the curse, Grant then turned into a mindless beast called Nasty Grant, who was sent to guard Dracula's Clock Tower.
Serving as the Clock Tower guard for quite a while, Grant was eventually put up against Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades. The team defeated Grant, reverting him back to his human form, and he joined them without hesitation. Grant would help the team defeat Lord Dracula in a climactic battle, along the way developing feelings for Sypha.
To his dismay, Sypha had shared feelings for Trevor, and the two married. Ashamed, Grant did not show up to the marriage, and hid himself away from his friends. Until one day, a mysterious man appeared in front of Grant, and he was pulled into a Time Rift. Although reluctant, Grant helped defeat the Time Reaper, although along the way he was forced to run into Trevor and Sypha once again.

Powers and Techniques
Is a Creature of the Night, which gives:
Superhuman Physical Characteristics (Even the smallest creatures of the night can destroy a bridge[73], one of Dracula's bats easily destroyed a stone ground block[74]), Intimidation (Creatures of the nights appearances can cause one to have their body's cells cry out in terror[75]), Immortality (Ageless; The biggest hindrance to humans when attempting to accomplish something being their limited lifespans, a limitation that cannot be overcome, however, dwellers of the darkness do not apply to the laws of the human world, ignoring such limitations[76]. Immortal Metaphysical Aspect; Creatures of the Night can continue to exist even as a spirit and use their spirit form to form bodies out of inanimate material around them[77]), Acausality (Causality Immunity; All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[78]. With their souls being completely free from time[79]. The biggest hindrance to humans when attempting to accomplish something being their limited lifespans, a limitation that cannot be overcome, however, dwellers of the darkness do not apply to the laws of the human world, ignoring such limitations[80]), Free Will (Creatures of the Night do not follow the hand of God and instead choose of their own free will[81]), Empowerment (Creatures of the night are empowered by the night[82], becoming stronger when it's night time[83]), Evolution (Creatures of chaos can inherit evil natures[84] awakening into stronger enemies with new abilities and less weaknesses[85]), Resurrection (Self-Resurrection; Creatures of chaos can be brought back to life from the power of hate[86]. This has also been shown with slain heads reviving as an angry wraith[87]), Regeneration (Mid-Godly overtime; Even the castle from Castlevania is a Creature of Chaos, [88] where they are always rebirth from Chaos with each rebirth, the creatures takes a new form[89], with this state being referred to as a "regeneration cycle"[90]), Invisibility (Creatures of Chaos possess a natural aura of darkness, which makes one unable to see those with an aura of darkness by the naked eye[91]), Time Manipulation (Passive; All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[92]), Darkness Manipulation & Subjective Reality (Creatures of chaos very existence causes dark powers to flow beyond the control of the Elgos' grimoires, due to them collecting documented information on Dracula and his castle. Causing their power to materialize in the real world in the form of monsters[93]. With the real world and world of grimoires being one and the same[94]), Text Manipulation & Plot Manipulation (Passive; Creatures of the night's dark powers allowed them to rewrite the Grimoires to greatly strengthen their dark powers[95]. It is noted by Lucy that the "vital soul" of a monster is the cause of the grimoire chaos[96]. Their vital souls are causing the grimoires contents to be overwritten changing history to things such as Jonathan Morris is now at a disadvantage in battle[97], or Charlotte fading from existence due to them messing with the history of the Grimoires[98], Maria starting to fade because Richter's history is being rewritten[99], where if the contents of the book change the creatures magic will keep growing and eventually overflow into reality, causing the grimoire to fall into chaos and even more monsters materializing into the real world[100]. The text alterations also make the monsters stronger[101]. With the real world and world of grimoires being one and the same[102]), Law Manipulation (Creatures of Chaos can alter grimoires, which do not adhere to the laws of reality[103]), Power Modification (Creatures of the night alterations of the Grimoire can greatly limit the powers of those far stronger than them, such as Jonathan Morris' power being limited due to the alterations[104]. The Chaos of the Grimoire destabilized the magic of the others[105]).

Garlic significantly weakens creatures of the night[130], and causes demons to die if its placed on the ground[131]. If a vital soul is defeated, the grimoire will revert back to its original content[132].
Note
- Contrary to popular belief, holy attacks and the whips in Castlevania can affect and harm people that aren't apart of the creatures of the night. Leon's doppelganger can use holy water and holy attacks against him in this fight along with the alchemy whip despite Leon being a pure and noble warrior[133]. Simon's doppelganger can harm him with the vampire killer, despite Simon being a noble hero. Holy Water even works and harms enemies such as the "Holy Armor"[134], a knight who has natural holy powers[135]. Corrupted enemies such as Charlie Vincent, use holy water attacks on Carrie and Reinhardt[136].

“…… If so, why did you take power away from the crack in the eclipse’s seal? If you just intend to imitate like a monkey, isn’t your own power enough?”
Those were the emotionless words of Death.
In response, Olrox laughed his bold answer.
“As I’ve said, I would equally gain control over the human world and the source of Dracula’s power, chaos. I do not intend to obey someone else’s mind aside from my own. That includes you who were born out of chaos.”
“……”
“You should be glad though to know yourself. Just by stealing power, my shameful monotonous time is over…… Even before Alucard appeared, just because I showed up and declared war on him.”
Olrox’s voice was mixed with a tinge of thin delight. He respectfully bowed to Death who completely killed his emotions.
“I would end the reincarnation cycle of this demon castle. I who understood and was spun out of the stains of chaos, swear to rob that power with my hands. Now, yield.”
With Death’s reply, an explosive murderous intent rose.
Two bronze colored scythes much larger than usual appeared; it advanced to the space in between the two men with an intention to cut off Olrox’s head.
Kill the distance-----
Kill the sound-----
Just, faster, soon, die.
It can be seen that the blades have certainly caught Olrox’s neck, but----- that is only an after image and the vampire is already at Death’s back.
“……die.”
That was said by the enemy who called on his servants.
From the surrounding space, a group of purple bats rose, passed by Olrox’s arm with the speed of a bullet, attacking Death. However, Death did not show any gesture of avoiding them. He simply faced Olrox and sprayed out numerous scythes.

“Only…… protect…… you……-----“
When he said those words he must say, the man’s soul already left his body-----becoming one of the floating spirits that wander the halls of the castle.
However-----
Fate did not allow it.
For those people who are involved with the demon castle, even the loneliness of death seemed half hearted-----
