Codex Statistics
Grade: S (The Belmonts are known as the most powerful and renowned vampire hunters within the world of Castlevania[17], during and before Trevor's time[18], the Belmont's were feared because of their immense power[19])
Tier: At least 7-C, Far Higher with Sheer Will
Cardinality: Finite
Dimensionality: 3-D
Attack Potency: At least Town level (Potency) (Can fight and defeat 1900s Dracula[20], who serves as the absolute evil, the opposite to God[21], where for God to be perfectly good, there must be a being of perfect darkness[22], being the entity opposite to God[23], with such power making him far superior to Golem from Castlevania Judgement, as he died to a random unknown hunter after his return from the time rift[24]. Golem with his ultimate can shoot out a mouth blast that vaporizes everything it touches as far as the eye can see getting these results[25]. Can harm and fight against enemies stronger than characters who can take hits from neutron bomb[26], that have a yield range of 1-10 kilotons of TNT), Far Higher with Sheer Will (Simon claims that the Belmonts and Morrises did not defeat Dracula because of the Vampire Killer, with the reason behind heroes' capacity to fight against evil lying not in their physical strength but the noble desire to drive away evil and usher in all that is good, the desire to protect the world for all of humanity, with the courage to fight to protect others being the true essence of a hero and a Belmont's strength, with this even applying for other heroes such as Shanoa, Maria, Charlotte, and even Arikado[27]. Alucard notes that having something to protect surpasses the limits of strength[28])
Durability: At least Town level, Far Higher with Sheer Will
Striking Strength: At least Town Class (Potency), Far Higher with Sheer Will
Lifting Strength: At least Class 10 (Comparable to John Morris, where as a Belmont, the Belmonts are known as the most powerful and renowned vampire hunters within the world of Castlevania[29], during and before Trevor's time[30], the Belmont's were feared because of their immense power[31], which should make them superior to Hector's Battle-Type innocent devils who can move entire tree logs that are blocking roads out of the way[32] where logs can weigh around 15 to 5 tons[33] and Hector's battle-type innocent devils can lift open large iron doors that "no man could force open"[34]), Far Higher with Sheer Will
Travel Speed: At least Superhuman (Traveled across the entire country of Europe in a short timeframe[35]. Comparable to Leon Belmont, who was able to escape Walter's Castle while running from the top floor to the entrance, before the entire structure collapsed[36]), Far Higher with Sheer Will
Attack Speed: At most Faster Than Light (Can tag 1900s Dracula, who serves as the absolute evil, the opposite to God[37], where for God to be perfectly good, there must be a being of perfect darkness[38], being the entity opposite to God[39], making him faster then enemies such as the Sky Fish who moves so fast that it appears as a beam of light and is only slowed down when time is stopped[40] and the White Demon, who can move at the speed of light at short distances[41]), Far Higher with Sheer Will
Reaction Speed: At most Faster Than Light, Far Higher with Sheer Will
Stamina: Superhuman (Traveled across the entire country of Europe in a short timeframe, fighting many bosses on the way without tiring[42])
Range: Standard Melee, Extended Melee with Alucard Spear (Spears are normally around 180-2240 centimeters), Higher with Spear Upgrades (With Spear Upgrades, Eric's Alucard Spear has a longer reach), Tens of Meters with sub-weapons (Various of John and Eric's sub-weapons reach distances that go off screen[43], hitting enemies and traveling across the floor[44]), Higher with Thunderbolt Spear (Countless lightning bolts fly through the air in all directions[45])
Intelligence: Supergenius Intelligence (Eric is a practicioner of magic[46], where magic requires one to have a deep understanding of Quantum Physics to utilize it to its fullest, requiring understandings of theories such as "Curse Amplification"[47]. Able to utilize sub-weapons that possess great attack and power which in Castlevania requires one to have a high intelligence to be able to do[48])
Knowledge: Grandmaster level (Can fight and defeat Dracula, where he was a genius tactician as Mathias, who they called "Cronqvist the Wise"[49])

Weaknesses: Nothing notable.
Note
- Contrary to popular belief, holy attacks and the whips in Castlevania can affect and harm people that aren't apart of the creatures of the night. Leon's doppelganger can use holy water and holy attacks against him in this fight along with the alchemy whip despite Leon being a pure and noble warrior[159]. Simon's doppelganger can harm him with the vampire killer, despite Simon being a noble hero. Holy Water even works and harms enemies such as the "Holy Armor"[160], a knight who has natural holy powers[161]. Corrupted enemies such as Charlie Vincent, use holy water attacks on Carrie and Reinhardt[162]. Characters like Jonathan Morris wear armor like the Holy Mail, an armor that reduces damage from holy attacks[163].
Trivia
- Eric's hair color isn't consistent along his many appearances: blond in Castlevania: Bloodlines (greenish-blue in his game sprite), black in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin,[164] and light auburn in Castlevania Judgment.
- Wind/Eric's English voice actor in Portrait of Ruin, David Vincent, also provided the voice of Richter Belmont in Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles.
- Eric's "Wind" characterization from Portrait of Ruin, shares some similarities with William L. Flemming from Metal Gear Ac!d in both physical appearance and being motivated in their actions regarding at least one daughter being abducted by the main villains, as well as using an alias for part of the game. As Konami was responsible for both games, Eric's design and characterization being derived from Flemming was probably deliberate.
- Eric's Judgment characterization was allegedly not well received by fans of the franchise due to, not only appearing as a child in that game, but coming across as smug and arrogant as well.

- The "Sleeping Soldier" statue at Gresit town's square that appears in the Castlevania animated series was based on Eric Lecarde's artwork from Castlevania: Bloodlines.
- The implication of Eric cutting off his fiancée's, Lucy Seward, head off and plunging a stake through her heart after she passed away, to prevent her from resurrecting as a vampire and save her soul, draws aspects to how the Dracula novel character, Lucy Westenra, also went through a very similar situation.
- The name Eric and its variations have never seen regular use in the Iberian peninsula. Originally a Scandinavian name, it is mostly found in Germanic-, Finnic- or French-speaking countries, and is scarce outside them.
- In Romanian, his family name, Lecarde, taken apart in reverse reads: E drac el, which translates to "He is devil".
Codex Statistics Questions
Q: Shouldn't the characters be around tier 2 for defeating the Time Reaper who would've destroyed the very fabric of time[165], attempted to destroy the specific era of time[166], cause all beings everywhere to disappear, forever[167] and that the age was on the verge of collapse[168]?
A: We actually never get a direct outright method of Time Reaper's plan for doing this, from what Aeon mentions to Golem, if the Time Rift is not erased, all beings everywhere will disappear, forever[169], implying that it's the Time Rift causing this, this is further backed up by the fact that in Time Reaper's boss fight, there is a vortex in the background consuming everything[170], meaning this is an overtime feat that scales to no one physically.
Q: Shouldn't they get tier 2 for Dracula's influence destabilizing the flow of time[171]?
A: This is a potent ability but has nothing to do with Attack Potency, there is no quantification for "destabilizing the flow of time", along with this, even if it was taken as physically, then it would be overtime as the effects are not noticeable throughout most of Curse of Darkness.
Q: Shouldn't Dracula and by proxy anyone that scales to him get tier 2 for him being able to sustain his castle?
A: This goes under our Stabilization Feats standards, which treats sustaining feats are non-combat applicable Attack Potency normally, though in Dracula's case the Castle is speficially powered by the existence of a Dark Lord, and doesn't necessarily need their strength to rise. In the Castlevania novel, the castle rose without a Dark Lord as an example. Along with this, no one scales to the collapse of the castle, in Curse of Darkness Hector would've died to the collapse of the castle if[172] Julia didn't come save him, and Isaac died within the castle[173]. In other cases the Castle does not collapse[174], but instead slowly fades away[175]. At the end of Dawn of Sorrow Soma Cruz and Genya Arikado (aka Alucard must escape the collapsing abyss.
Q: Shouldn't Castlevania characters that scale to Death have Infinite speed due to Death being able to kill distance itself with his attacks?
A: Killing distance to attack is not a speed feat, it's a method of Spatial Manipulation by circumventing and ignoring distance, while one can say the attack spawns on you instantly, this is not really something quantifiable. Along with this, it would only scale to characters comparable to Death during post-Dawn of Sorrow, as Soma notes Death is far faster than he remembered from his fight with him in Dawn of Sorrow[176].

“What have you misunderstood? I am Death. Human death only comprises a part of chaos. They can come back again as zombies or skeletons, but without a soul, dead bodies cannot be revived. And ----- there is no reason to perform that.” - ↑ Akumajo Dracula: Kabuchi no Tsuisoukyoku "Those scythes constructed by magic did not turn towards Olrox or Michelle, every scythe then gathered near the youth’s body.
Then, those numerous blades made from magic overlapped with each other and with a powerful atrocious magic constructed a Death scythe in Death’s arm.
“This false castle……You shall fall into chaos as a thing that denies the existence of the [lord]……[death] shall pass judgment on your sins!”

“Only…… protect…… you……-----“
When he said those words he must say, the man’s soul already left his body-----becoming one of the floating spirits that wander the halls of the castle.
However-----
Fate did not allow it.
