Background
Leila is the direct descendant of Alucard from an alternate timeline, from the 1990 choose-your-own-adventure novel, called The Legend of Satanic Castle: The Vampire Hunters. Hailing in Transylvania much like his ancestors, Sid quickly became partners with the descendants of the Three Legendary Heroes from Trevor Belmont’s era; Sid Belmont (descendant of Trevor Belmont), Row Danasty (descendant of Grant Danasty), and Zouk Belnades (descendant of Sypha Belnades).
Being directly related to Alucard, and thus also his father Count Dracula, Leila is part-vampire. Despite this, she fights for the light, and is constantly seen wearing a cross around her neck, which emits holy light. Long after Dracula's defeat at the hands of Trevor Belmont, his resurrection came under way. Feeling responsible for the Count's evil due to her familial bond with him, she set out alongside her friends to destroy him.

It is noted by Lucy that the "vital soul" of a monster is the cause of the grimoire chaos[49]. Their vital souls are causing the grimoires contents to be overwritten changing history to things such as Jonathan Morris is now at a disadvantage in battle[50], or Charlotte fading from existence due to them messing with the history of the Grimoires[51], Maria starting to fade because Richter's history is being rewritten[52], where if the contents of the book change the creatures magic will keep growing and eventually overflow into reality, causing the grimoire to fall into chaos and even more monsters materializing into the real world[53]. The text alterations also make the monsters stronger[54]. Along with this to protect against ice attacks in series, one normally wears rings that help them resist against absolute zero[61]), Time Manipulation (All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[62], with their souls being completely free from time[63]. With time in Castlevania being so potent that not even eternity can withstand time[64], along with even artificial life being subject to the laws of time[65]. Some creatures of chaos are immune to time stop, normally being boss-level creatures[66]), Fate Manipulation (All immortal beings disrupt the flow of time according to Aeon[67], with their souls being completely free from time[68], with fate being a truth wound by time[69])Is a Vampire, which gives:

Their vital souls are causing the grimoires contents to be overwritten changing history to things such as Jonathan Morris is now at a disadvantage in battle[112], or Charlotte fading from existence due to them messing with the history of the Grimoires[113], Maria starting to fade because Richter's history is being rewritten[114], where if the contents of the book change the creatures magic will keep growing and eventually overflow into reality, causing the grimoire to fall into chaos and even more monsters materializing into the real world[115]. The text alterations also make the monsters stronger[116]. With the real world and world of grimoires being considered the same or "equal"[117], compared to the like of Brauner's painting worlds that are quantum multi-layered spaces requiring understandings of theories such as "Curse Amplification"[118]), Law Manipulation (Vampires can alter grimoires, which do not adhere to the laws of reality[119]), Power Modification (Vampire's alterations of the Grimoire can greatly limit the powers of those far stronger than them, such as Jonathan Morris' power being limited due to the alterations[120]. Other
Standard Tactics: Leila utilizes vampire techniques along with holy powers for attacks.
Weaknesses
- Unique Weaknesses: Nothing notable.
Note
- Contrary to popular belief, holy attacks and the whips in Castlevania can affect and harm people that aren't apart of the creatures of the night. Leon's doppelganger can use holy water and holy attacks against him in this fight along with the alchemy whip despite Leon being a pure and noble warrior[154]. Simon's doppelganger can harm him with the vampire killer, despite Simon being a noble hero. Holy Water even works and harms enemies such as the "Holy Armor"[155], a knight who has natural holy powers[156]. Corrupted enemies such as Charlie Vincent, use holy water attacks on Carrie and Reinhardt[157].
- As the events of this novel take place after Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, it is assumed safe to scale it to the mainline feats[158].
- The novel has not officially been translated or had a full fan translation, thus not much information can be grabbed from it at this moment in time.
- While vampires have some weakness to sunlight and can burn overtime in them[159], higher tier vampires[160], can stand out in the sunlight just fine[161] without being weakened. It should also be noted even with Dhamphir's like Alucard, in original lore, he was considered a full vampire yet could stand out in the sunlight perfectly fine.
