Survivors (Dragon Ball: The Breakers)
Background
The Survivors are a group of normal citizens sucked in from specific points in time and space into Earth's past, present, and future. There they meet Future Trunks, who teaches them what they need in order to survivie.
Caught in an unexpected temporal phenomenon, seven ordinary citizens find themselves stranded in a Temporal Seam: they share their imprisonment with the Raider, a menacing enemy from another timeline with an overwhelming power.
Their only hope for survival is to break out from the Temporal Seam with the Super Time Machine, but the Raider is on their tracks and becomes stronger by the minute. In a race against time the cunning of Survivors clashes with the power of the Raider, to break free or be broken.

Equipment
- Power Key: A special key made to be placed in a specific spot to power up the super time machine.
- Revival Item: An item that allows the survivor to "revive" downed characters.
- Laser Gun: A gun that survivor can use to destroy crates and other objects.
- Rocket Launcher: The rocket launcher, sometimes colloquially referred to as the bazook, is a category of weapons that fire high-powered rockets. Used by the survivors to distract the raiders from other survivors.
- Trap Device: Sets a trap that eletrocutes the enemy.
- Emergency Escape Device: Can teleport out of a destruction area.
- Senzu Bean: Senzu Beans are mystical beans with immense rejuvenation properties, being capable of healing entire wounds, such as one's stomach being punctured.
- Transphere: Transpheres grant the Survivor an ability to transform into a super warrior and enable them to fight at equal ground against the Raider. While in a superpowered state, Survivors are immune to being incapacitated, but their transformation is limited to time and any damage received from the Raider reduces it further. The Raider will only take damage if the Survivor's charge level is the same or above the Raider's form level.
Notable Techniques
- Kaio-ken: Kaio-ken is a technique invented by King Kai. It multiplies the user's ki for a "heartbeat" and turns their aura crimson - amplifying their power and speed to overcome previously stronger foes at the cost of extreme bodily recoil. Strong ki control is required in order to wield the Kaio-ken properly.
- Revive: Allows the survivor to heal a downed ally "reviving" them back.
- Teleportation: With Emergency Escape Device, automatically teleports from a destruction area.
- Transformation: With transpheres, briefly transfers into the soul of a warrior from the world.
- Tail Attack: A technique used by those who have tail in order to attack their opponents. They can use it to whip or constrict the opponent. Goku uses this to break free from Tien Shinhan's Four Witches Technique.
- Double Axe Hand: Goku cups his hands together and reels back, then slams his fists on the opponent.
- Eight-Arm Fist: A physical technique that involves its user moving their arms fast enough that they seemingly have eight of them, allowing them to attack and defend themselves much more efficiently. Used to counter Tien Shinhan's Four Witches Technique.
- Crazy Fist: A distraction technique used by Goku and designed to confuse and taunt the opponent. Pretending to be a wild uncontrollable dog or monkey, Goku catches his opponent off guard, and eventually knocks him out with a swift kick by jumping from behind. Goku uses this in reaction to Jackie Chun's Drunken Fist.
- Tornado!: After calling the name of the attack, Goku spins while rushing on the opponent to attack him/her. Used against Nam.
- Afterimage Technique: Goku creates perfect replica afterimages of himself to give the illusion of him still being in a location making it difficult for the opponent to actually harm his true self.
- Mid-Air Stop: While falling to the ground, Goku exhales his breath like an explosive blast to stop his decent. Goku uses this technique against King Chappa in the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament preliminaries.
- Tail Helicopter: Goku swings his tail in a circle fast enough to hover and fly freely. Used only once, in his fight against Jackie Chun in the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament.
- Agile Style: After his training under Kami, Goku could remove the Weighted portions Turtle School Uniform to increase his power level and agility due to being no longer incumbered by the heavy weights allowing him to utilize a more agile fighting style hence its name. Goku first used it during the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament and later when he confronted his brother Raditz alongside Piccolo. According to Raditz's Scouter, Goku's power level rose from 334 to 416 indicating the weight removal alone increased his power level by 82. This state was named in Dragon Ball Legends (albeit in relation to Piccolo & Pikkon's use of Agile Style) where it is the "base" form used by Goku (DBL22-01S) which represents Goku from the period during which he fought Raditz.
- Dragonthrow: Goku grabs his opponent's arm, leg, tail, or antenna, then he spins and throws them away.
- Meteor Combination: First, Goku charges at the opponent and elbows them away. Then, he attacks the opponent with a powerful barrage of kicks and punches, ending with a heavy punch to their stomach. When the opponent lays on the ground paralyzed, Goku jumps up in the air and fires a Super Kamehameha down at the opponent, inflicting a massive amount of damage.
- Meteor Smash: Goku punches the opponent in the stomach. Then, he punches the opponent away and flies after them to right hook kick them in their face. Finally, Goku axe kicks the side of the opponent's head, knocking them away and inflicting a great deal of damage.
- Bōjutsu: The art of wielding a staff which Goku utilizes when wielding his Power Pole. Goku learned it from the Power Pole's previous owner, his adoptive Grandpa Gohan. Goku's Bōjutsu skills are so great that he can use his Power Pole to deflect bullets as shown during his assault on Muscle Tower. Additionally, due to the Power Pole's mystical length changing properties, his attack range with the Power Pole is much greater than an average staff.
- Kaoi-ken Finish: First, Goku charges at the opponent and kicks them up into the air. Then, he flies up after the opponent and double axe-handle punches them down to the ground. Next, he powers up to his Kaio-ken technique as he charges down at the opponent and double-punches them in their back. Finally, Goku quickly lands on the ground and catches the opponent on their back before throwing them onto the ground, inflicting a great deal of damage.

Next, he flies up over the opponent and down behind to double kick them further up into the air. Finally, Goku flies up into the air around the opponent and hook kicks them down into the ground, inflicting a huge amount of damage.
- Ki Blast: The most basic energy attack, Goku creates a small form of energy that he blasts at an opponent, usually he uses this to keep his distance from an enemy or to distract them so he can land another attack.
- Kiai: A technique where Goku affects the air currents around him with ki to produce powerful shockwaves in order to strike the opponent at mid-range.
- Kamehameha: Goku's signature move since obtaining it. It unleashes a powerful and long-stretching blue energy blast from his cupped hands. Goku first learns the move as a kid after witnessing Master Roshi using it. It can be charged to compete with practically any enemy attack. Since mastering this technique, Goku has continued to improve on it and develop new variations of it.
- Spirit Bomb: Easily Goku's most powerful techniques and arguably the strongest in the series, it allows Goku to channel ki from all sources of life that he can detect and focus it all into a single energy ball. It was taught to him by King Kai during his training for the upcoming battle against Vegeta and Nappa. Over time, Goku continually learned to expand the range of which he could gather energy, thereby increasing both the size and power of the Spirit Bomb. He reserves this technique as a last-ditch effort for only the most powerful of foes.
- Instant Transmission: Goku learns this technique on the Planet Yardrat after his battle with Frieza by learning Spirit Control - which also allowed him to sense ki from a much greater distance. This technique allows him to teleport to any location so long as he can find an energy source to home onto. However, it also greatly extends his ability to sense energy. Noticeably in Yo Son Goku, he seemingly improved on the technique as transports to the radish field without sensing anyone, possibly because he had accurate enough knowledge of where it is.
- Solar Flare: Goku places his hands close to the center of his face with the fingers spread toward his eyes. He then calls out the name of the technique, which provokes a white light to fire out and blind everything watching except him, since he is projecting the light.

Then, he grabs the energy sphere with his hand and draws it back up to his side. Finally, Gohan shouts "Take this!" and throws the attack at the opponent, inflicting a great amount of damage.
- Gekiretsu Madan: First, Gohan raises his hands up to his sides and charges a yellow energy sphere in each hand. He then puts his hands forward and fires a barrage of yellow energy waves against the opponent, inflicting a massive amount of damage.
- Wild Rush Blaster: First, Gohan kicks his opponent a few times, he then beats them up and kicks them to one side. When charged to the maximum, it can overwhelm, if not seriously harm, the strongest of foes.
- Final Impact: Also known as Atomic Flash, this attack is a large beam fired from Vegeta's index finger, middle finger, and thumb. - Final Explosion: To begin the attack, Future Trunks gathers his life force and converts it into energy, creating flame-like ribbons of energy that spiral around his body. Both his and his opponent's bodies begin emitting small flecks of golden light, resembling dust blowing off of their skin.
*Flight: The ability to fly through the use of ki.
- Demon Pursuit Attack: A rush attack variation of Demon Hand used by Piccolo where he grabs the opponent by the leg then retracts his extended arm to punch the opponent with his other arm.
- Dust Attack: The technique is a smaller, less efficient variant of the Explosive Demon Wave.
- Chasing Bullet: Piccolo uses this attack with one arm supporting the one that is firing the beam itself. The beam is faster than the Explosive Demon Wave and has the ability to home in on its target, with considerable power.
- Hyper Explosive Demon Wave: Piccolo creates a massive explosion with himself as the nexus.
- Light Grenade: The user puts their hands together in front of them as they charge a yellow energy sphere in their hands. Then, they bring their hands forward and fires the energy sphere, inflicting a massive amount of damage.
- Makosen: Piccolo uses a two-handed Explosive Demon Wave similar to the Makosen.
- Hellzone Grenade: Piccolo charges up and fires several energy spheres randomly in the opponent's direction, disregarding accuracy and with no intent on actually hitting the enemy. With efficient ki control, the multiple energy spheres are suspended in the air, completely surrounding them. Finally, Piccolo commands the energy spheres, which change from a yellow to purple color, to rapidly spin around the opponent and inevitably rain down on them with a vicious onslaught from every direction, filling the sky with a blinding light and inflicting a massive amount of damage.
- Doppelganger: A cloning technique.
- Tri-Form: A technique that allows its user to split into three identical duplicates to fight as a group.
- Multi-Form: The user powers up and splits into two, then those two split clones into four. Unlike the Afterimage Technique, these are tangible clones, not just imprints left by speed. This technique has a quite obvious weakness, however. The four clones are created by the user's energy level divided into four.
- Explosive Breath Cannon: First, Piccolo yells out "Die!" as he charges at the opponent and elbows them in their stomach before kicking them up into the air. Then, he flies after the opponent and double axe-handle punches them down to the ground, where he teleports beside them and grabs their arm. Finally, Piccolo says "I'll beat you to death!" as he punches the opponent in their stomach and throws them in the air before blasting them with a yellow Mouth Energy Wave, inflicting a huge amount of damage.
*Flight: The ability to fly with the use of ki.
- Bending Kamehameha: The user can change the Kamehameha's course, allowing the user to surprise his or her opponent.
- Multiple Kamehameha: Two or more fighters fire multiple Kamehamehas (one per fighter) simultaneously at a single point. This usually causes their separate Kamehamehas to merge into one giant Kamehameha blast at the opponent.
- Kamehame Fever: When they use it, Krillin, Yamcha, and Goku each charge their own Kamehameha attacks. Then, they fire them at the same time from three different places to cause great damage to the enemy.
- Master-Student Kamehameha: When they use it, Goku, Krillin, and Master Roshi each charge their own Kamehameha. Then, they fire them at the same time so that the three energy waves merge into a large Kamehameha, inflicting a huge amount of damage.
- Friend Kamehameha: Krillin, Goten, and Trunks fire a Kamehameha together at the same time.
- Chain Destructo Disc: Krillin charges a first Destructo Disc, and then he throws in rapid succession a series of discs which have the ability to cut the opponent apart. Another variation of the move sees Krillin throwing a single Destructo Disc that splits into numerous smaller discs that attack the opponent from all directions.
- Destructo Disc Triple Blade: First, Krillin charges what appear to be a single Destructo Disc and tosses it at the opponent, and the disc changes to three discs, making it difficult to dodge.
- Destructo Disc Hexa Blade: Krillin throws six Destructo Discs at his foe, which he is able to control.
*Flight: The capability to fly by using the ki. At first, this technique was used only by Tien and Chiaotzu, then it was learnt also by all the Z Warriors, except for Yajirobe and Master Roshi.
- Multi-Form Attack: Tien uses the Multi-Form to split himself into four identical copies and then, at the same time, each copy fires a Ki Blast Cannon.
- Spirit Tri-Beam: A one handed version of the Tri-Beam, which uses Tien's life energy.
- Neo Tri-Beam: A significantly more powerful version of the Tri-Beam.
- Blinding Wolf Fang Fist: Yamcha charges at the foe and kicks them high into the air, before charging power in his palms and rushing at them and blasting right through them.
- Neo Wolf Fang Fist: A much more powerful version of the Wolf Fang Fist, which is amplified in power by his Ki.
- Super Kamehameha: This is an amplified version of the Kamehameha which has a larger and more devastating beam, which Yamcha uses by first bolstering his Ki.
- Super Spirit Ball: Called an “Extra Large Spirit Ball” by Yamcha himself, this is simply a larger and more powerful version of the original, which he uses when his Ki is bolstered.
Other
Standard Tactics: The Survivor will opt to use their weapons against their opponent or their transpheres, if they run out of both they will attempt to hide.
Weaknesses: Due to the nature of ki draining stamina and energy, Dragon Ball characters ki usage requires them to usually use their higher levels of energy in short bursts, allowing them to not be able to tank or die to far lower attacks such as attacks that have destroyed the planets of several worlds. The Transphere transformations do not last very long, and sufficient damage will cause the duration to become shorter, though this is negated by using the Dragon Balls to enhance their Transphere transformation, which becomes unlimited in duration.
Note: It is confirmed that Dragon Ball: The Breakers shares the same universe as Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.
