Impact Damage is damage inflicted through different types of impact forces. This can range from things such as: Slamming one down from great heights (I.E. The Izauna Drop), Crushing Attacks, or strikes that even if they don't do damage externally, causes the brain or other important organs to rattle inside, discombobulating the opponent.

It has some overlap with Blunt Force Damage and Penetration Damage, however, Impact Damage does not require blunt force trauma or an attack to pierce and some attacks from Impact Damage do not fall under Blunt Force Damage or Penetration Damage.

Types

  • Physical Impact: Physical Penetration is defined as an attack that causes impact damage on a physical level, the target usually finds means to bypass one's defenses by doing things such as crushing them, dropping them from high heights, putting them into a bearhug where they cannot escape and get squeezed to incapcitation or death, etcetera.
    • Examples:
  • Metaphysical Impact: Metaphysical Impact refers to irregular impacts, such as one being able to crush one's soul. These types of attacks are often targeted towards the some form of metaphysical aspect, thereby bypassing durability entirely. It should be noted that these kinds of attacks should specifically be stated to be on a different level of existence in nature and/or completely ignore all physicality. Furthermore, attacks of this caliber aren't likely to cause standard injuries that one would expect with physical impact trauma.

Limatations

  • A lot of Impact Damage typically has a strength limit unless one is a grappler capable of ignoring the need for that or has means to where their natural strength is needed.
