So, until your soul is saved, until all the evil desires in the world are exhausted, goodbye, ruler of evil. Goodbye, o woeful Prince of Darkness.
~ Sonia to Count Dracula

Background

Sonia Belmont was born in a remote mountain village in Transylvania, as the first-known female born into the Belmont Clan. As tradition, she was raised by her grandfather to be a powerful vampire hunter, and, once she reached the age of passage, her immense powers were recognized.

One night, Sonia met a man named Alucard, who stated that he was searching for his father, and the two formed a bond. However, tragedy struck, and Sonia’s home was attacked by Dracula’s forces. Sonia rushed home and found her grandfather near death; before passing, he entrusted her with the legendary Vampire Killer whip that had become synonymous with her family.

Infuriated and filled with a lust for vengeance, Sonia invaded Dracula’s Castle and skillfully fought her way through it; slaying each and every monster within, weak or strong. Eventually, she made her way to the castle keep, but was surprisingly faced against Alucard. As the son of Dracula, Alucard believed that it was his destiny to destroy the Dark Lord, and didn’t trust that Sonia could do it.

Not willing to turn back, and fully prepared to prove herself, Sonia fought against Alucard, and eventually she won, which surprised Alucard tremendously. Although Sonia apologized for injuring him, Alucard quickly dismissed this, and expressed the newfound trust he had that Sonia could get the job done.

Finally, Sonia was able to continue forwards, and met face-to-face with Count Dracula himself. Exclaiming that she was the first human to ever challenge him, Dracula was confident that he could crush the girl. Unfortunately for the Dark Lord, however, Sonia found the strength within herself to overpower and slay him. With a few parting words swearing his return, Dracula faded away, and his castle crumbled with him.

Sonia was able to escape the castle and watched as it crumbled from a far-off cliffside. Sonia and Alucard would reunite and kindle their relationship together, before bearing a child that Sonia knew would carry both the bloodline of the heroic Belmont Clan, and the dark blood of Alucard’s father. Her story would eventually fade into legend.

Golem with his ultimate can shoot out a mouth blast that vaporizes everything it touches as far as the eye can see getting these results[13]), Higher with Burning Mode (Belmonts have an inborn self-defense ability known as "Burning Mode" which makes them invincible and raises their status to twice the normal level[14]), Far Higher with Sheer Will (Simon claims that the Belmonts and Morrises did not defeated Dracula because of the Vampire Killer, with the reason behind heroes' capacity to fight against evil lying not in their physical strength but the noble desire to drive away evil and usher in all that is good, the desire to protect the world for all of humanity, with the courage to fight to protect others being the true essence of a hero and a Belmonts strength, with this even applying for other heroes such as Shanoa, Maria, Charlotte, and even Arikado[15])

She was taught how to handle a whip by her grandfather and learned at an early age of her ability to sense the presence of beings physical and spiritual that cannot be seen by ordinary humans[30])

Powers and Techniques

Is a member of the Belmont Bloodline, which gives her:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics (The Belmonts are known as the most powerful and renowned vampire hunters within the world of Castlevania[31]. During and before Trevor's time[32], the Belmont's were feared because of their immense power[33]), Acrobatics (Due to Belmonts superhuman nature, they possess very athletic and acrobatic bodies, examples include Richter easily flipping over Death's scythe attack while also jumping around and fighting Death while on a moving horse carriage[34]. Richter also showcases this with his boss fight in Dracula X where he must jump across platforms while also fighting against Dracula[35]. Julius showcasing extreme acrobatic leaps to reach the top of a castle drawbridge[36]), Genius Intelligence (Belmonts are trained and some of the best users of various sub-weapons, which in Castlevania requires one to have a high intelligence to be able to do[37]), Martial Arts (Trevor left behind all of his fighting techniques to each new Belmont clan member and Morris clan member[38]), Weapon Mastery (No matter the Belmont, they have all showcase a natural gift in using weapons, with Christopher showcasing the tools of his family's destiny are always the axe, dagger, cross, & stop watch[39]. Many of the famous Belmont weapons were left behind by Trevor[40], with him noting them to be the axe, dagger, cross, holy water, and stop watch[41]), Sheer Will (The Belmonts are all ones with strong courage and willpower, where having a strong constitution dictates and influences how fast one can recover from status effects such as poison or curse[42]. Belmonts are pillars of strength, willing to keep fighting even when weakened greatly and having their existence slowly erased from history[43]. Simon claims that the Belmonts and Morrises did not defeated Dracula because of the Vampire Killer, with the reason behind heroes' capacity to fight against evil lying not in their physical strength but the noble desire to drive away evil and usher in all that is good, the desire to protect the world for all of humanity, with the courage to fight to protect others being the true essence of a hero and a Belmonts strength, with this even applying for other heroes such as Shanoa, Maria, Charlotte, and even Arikado[44]. The Belmonts will should be greater than even the likes of the Fernandez/Belnades Clan, including Camilla Fernandez, where its noted she had great spirit and struggled mightily against the curse before she became a vampire[45]), Aura (Belmonts release a glow of aura around them[46], that envelops their body[47]), Non-Standard Interaction (Metaphysical Interaction; Belmonts can interact with ghosts with their whips and sub-weapons[48]. Elemental Interaction; Belmonts can interact with enemies that are the mist itself with their whips and sub-weapons[49]. Belmonts can interact with creatures of the night made of sand[50]. Can interact with creatures of the night made of fire[51]. Can fully disperse and destroy water bubbles instead of the attack just going through it[52]. Blood Interaction; Can harm and kill enemies made of blood[53]. Abstract Interaction; Belmonts can interact with and kill Death[54], where Death is death, being the absolute presence, the awe, the religion, and the dark god[55]. He refers to death itself as him[56]. Noting that he is completely death and human death is only a part of Chaos[57]. Olrox when seeing Death fight serious notes that he senses the overwhelming existence of death and states that death really exists[58]), Nullification (Pain Immunity Nullification; The Belmonts can make the White Dragon visibly react to pain[59] and scream out in pain, where it is an immortal being immune to pain and suffering[60]. Abstract Nullification; The Belmonts can nullify and destroy the scythes from Death, who can use his scythes to kill abstractions such as distance and sound[61]. Death decides who lives and who dies[62]), Immortality Negation (Ageless & Life and Death Immunity; The Belmonts can render immortal skeleton death gods like Death, mortal, having him bleed from attacks, giving him mortality as shown when Death dies to his own scythe cutting off his head and having blood spurt out, something not possible as a skeleton[63]. The Belmonts can kill Death to the point that he requires Mathias to survive in order for him to rise from the dead[64]. Death is a being unconstrained by mortality[65]), Resurrection Bypassing (The Belmonts can kill zombies[66], who are corpses brought back to life from the power of hate[67]), Enhanced Senses (Belmonts such as Trevor could sense the power of a Belmont within Simon and also could tell he did not seem to grasp the fundamentals of combat in Judgment's time rift[68]), Extrasensory Perception (Belmonts can feel others being in an area, such as Simon Belmont being able to feel Trevor Belmont is in the time rift[69]. Leon could sense and feel that Joachim Armster was a vampire[70]. Leon could sense the rage from a Vampire Killer[71]. Trevor could sense a bad omen approaching[72]. Christopher Belmont felt a "chill" upon Dracula's return[73]. Belmonts such as Juste could sense Death's overwhelming power[74]. Belmonts such as Juste could sense the aura of the two different layers of the castles[75]. Belmonts can see beings like the Bitterfly, a mutated insect, visible only to magicians[76]. Julius could sense the dark powers within Soma Cruz[77]. Julius could sense Dracula's powers at work within Graham, though could tell from sensing Graham that he very likely was not Dracula[78]. Julius when fighting Soma could feel the evil spirit within Soma but also Soma's good spirit[79]. Belmonts have the ability to sense the presence of beings physical and spiritual that cannot be seen by ordinary humans[80]), Precognition (Premonitions; Belmonts can have future premonitions through their dreams, such as Christopher dreaming about Dracula stealing his son and turning him evil, far before he even had one[81]), Magic (Due to coming into contact with Rinaldo and gaining the whip, Rinaldo granted him a magic amulet[82]. where Leon gained magical energy that would naturally be passed down to all of his descendants[83]. Belmonts such as Julius naturally have magical powers due to this[84], along with Juste having magical powers deriving from the Fernandez (Belnades) family[85]), Principle Manipulation (Magic comes from alchemy, a field that experiments with the principles of God's creation of the world[86]), Afterimage Creation (Belmonts can envelop themselves in an aura of light that allows them to move so fast, their light projections cannot keep up[87]), Glyph Creation & Portal Creation (The Belmont blood acts as a key to[88] the infinite corridor[89]), Empowerment & Holy Manipulation (Belmonts can amplify weapons, Leon holding The Whip of Alchemy had it become more powerful then before, with Rinaldo stating that the whip fits Leon better then it fits him, despite him being the one to make the Whip of Alchemy[90]. Medusa even noted that it wasn't so powerful before believing the whip gained its complete form[91]. Belmonts can call upon the power of the light and use it to amplify their strength to be stronger and faster[92], this is also shown with Trevor Belmont's ultimate in Castlevania Judgment[93]. The Belmonts can use their stored energy (hearts) and transfer it into subweapons to make regular weapons as strong as they are along with magically enhancing them[94]), Invulnerability (Belmonts have an inborn self-defense ability known as "Burning Mode" which makes them invincible and raises their status to twice the normal level[95]), Statistics Boost (Belmonts get stronger from hearing of someone's grief, wanting to help them[96]), Reactive Power Level (As Dracula grows stronger each time he revives, the Belmonts have had to keep up, evolving to be powerful even without the strength of the Vampire Killer[97]), Sealing (Metaphysical Sealing; Belmonts can capture the spirits of enemies equal or greater to an area boss and use their abilities from their soul[98]), Nullification (Sealing Nullification; Belmonts such as Julius can completely destroy barriers, however depending on how strong the barrier is, they may have no more energy to fight[99])

Resistances to Extreme Colds (Belmonts can walk in ice cold rooms without much worry[100]), Extreme Heats (Belmonts can travel in boiling hot rooms without much effect[101]. They can also fight enemies such as the Flame Elemental who emerges from the lavas of the room with the whole room being so hot it's colored red[102]. Richter showcases this where he moves around in a burning city without much effect or limitation to his movements[103]), Absorption (Belmonts can fight and take hits from the mist[104], a creature that swallows up the living[105]), Life-Force Absorption (Belmonts can take hits from the Spirit[106], which is an evil spirit that sucks up people's life energy[107]), Corruption (Belmonts can be bitten by vampires without instantly turning[108]), Helfire Attacks (Belmonts can take hits from the Flame Demon, a demon that wields the fires of Hell[109]), Status Effect Inducement, Poison Manipulation, & Curse Manipulation (The Belmonts are all ones with strong courage and willpower, where having a strong constitution dictates and influences how fast one can recover from status effects such as poison or curse[110]), Paralysis Inducement (Belmonts can be paralyzed[111], and slowly recover from the effects of it[112]), Attack Reflection (Belmonts can[113] hit Dracula[114] with different[115] projectile[116] attacks[117], this extends to even Morrises'[118], where Dracula's mere rib bone reflects all projectiles back[119]), Petrification (Belmonts can[120] take hits[121], from Medusa heads[122] who can turn one into stone upon contacting them[123]. Belmonts can[124] can break out of[125], being petrified[126]), Erasure (Metaphysical Erasure; The blood of the Belmont Clan can keep one's spirit from being erased from Dracula's magic[127]), Time Stop (Belmonts are unaffected by time being stopped[128]. With time in Castlevania being so potent that not even eternity can withstand time[129], along with even artificial life being subject to the laws of time[130]), Poison Manipulation (Belmonts can take hits from the poison zombie[131], which spews a deadly poison that can rot flesh on contact[132]), Fear Manipulation (Belmonts can be within Dracula's presence along with holding and using Dracula's rib bone where Dracula's mere rib bone is enough to make[133] an ordinary hero feel like a spineless coward[134]), Light Manipulation & Holy Manipulation (Belmonts have a natural resistance to holy elemental attacks[135]), Absolute Zero (Belmonts can take ice from the frost demon[136], a demon that wields absolute cold[137] and a total command of cold[138], making it superior to the likes of Cyril who can wield absolute zero and is seen as a standard ability from a creature of the night[139]), Essence Manipulation (Belmonts can take hits from Succubus[140], who can suck up a person's essence[141]), Sleep Manipulation (Belmonts are able to resist sleep based abilities, such as Leon resisting Walter's attempt to put him to sleep[142]), Death Manipulation & Fate Manipulation (Belmonts cannot[143] be killed[144] by the[145] likes of[146] Death and his scythes[147], who is noted to govern the fate of death[148], being noted to have the power to govern the end of all living things[149], and can use his scythes to kill abstractions such as distance and sound[150]), Law Manipulation (Belmonts are unaffected by contracts, where Renon had Reinhardt unknowingly agree to a contract with Satan where if he spends over 30 thousand gold pieces, his soul is forfeit, with Reinhardt being able to kill Renon and negate the contract altogether[151], where contracts are made to be absolute and bind one to it's agreements[152])
Resistance to Dracula's Castle's Abilities (Belmonts are able to travel in our around the castle without feeling any of the adverse effects from the castle)

The Castle Abilities Include:

Reality Warping (The Castle does not work on standard logic, where changing rooms can have one view a completely different background[153], such as room with a blue sky that is reflecting up and downwards and having the cloud srotate at a fast speed[154]), Transmutation (Beings that come near are subject to the castle's influence, such as a local barnyard owl which was mutated just from flying near it[155]), Possession (The castle possesses objects with its magic, such as a ouija table[156]), Sealing (Dracula's magic captured Aguni, a primitive god of fire[157]. The Castle has doors sealed off without solving puzzles[158]. This can extend to walls being sealed off where explosions will not effect it until the seal is gone[159]), Mind Manipulation (Everything that enters the castle is under the control by the power of Dracula's castle[160], the ghost of Eric Lecarde needed to cast a magic barrier to bind himself so he could be free from the control of the castle[161]. The Castle corrupts the minds of those who enter it, such as making Maxim Kischine feel strange ever since coming to it[162]. It also corrupted the mind of Hugh turning him against Nathan with Nathan noting he's being controlled by Dracula[163]. The castle increases one's dark desires, allowing Dracula to easily control them[164]. The magic of Dracula's power that empowers the owl enemy also spurs it to violence[165]), Madness Manipulation (The Castle warped Gergoth, a once-gentle beast and drove it mad[166]), Size Manipulation (Magically enlarged a toad through the use of demonic baptism[167]), Fear Manipulation (Even while far away, Curtis and Michelle felt malicious intent from the castle where their bodies seemed to squeal "run away"[168]. Michelle even being at the entrance to the castle had her body telling her to not go in and her leg muscles being petrified like stone[169]), Curse Manipulation (The Curse status that spirits inflict[170] comes from them absorbing the magic power around the castle. The Castle cursed a human to turn into a lizard man[171]), Life Manipulation (The castle can bring inanimate statues to life to attack[172]. Can cause the glass murals to come to life and attack[173]), Soul Manipulation (Those that die in the castle become one of the floating spirits that wander the halls of the castle for eternity[174]), Abstract Manipulation & Hell Manipulation (The castle can create a core of evil made from hatred, envy, anger and other dark emotions[175]), Text Manipulation & Plot Manipulation (The vital souls are noted to be apart of the Castle's power[176], where is noted by Lucy that the "vital soul" of a monster is the cause of the grimoire chaos[177] where creatures of the night's dark powers allowed them to rewrite the Grimoires to strengthen their dark powers greatly[178], along with their vital souls causing the grimoires contents to be overwritten changing history to things such as Jonathan Morris is now at a disadvantage in battle[179], or Charlotte fading from existence due to them messing with the history of the Grimoires[180], Maria starting to fade because Richter's history is being rewritten[181], where if the contents of the book change the creatures magic will keep growing and eventually overflow into reality, causing the grimoire to fall into chaos and even more monsters materializing into the real world[182]. The text alterations also make the monsters stronger[183]. With the real world and world of grimoires being one and the same[184], compared to the like of Brauner's painting worlds that are quantum multi-layered spaces requiring understandings of theories such as "Curse Amplification"[185]. Death was going to use Dracula's magic to rewrite Dracula's defeat to Trevor making it where Dracula defeats Trevor Belmont instead where Dracula would go on living in the rewritten grimoire with each grimoire being its own world and the grimoires influence extends into reality[186]), Law Manipulation (The vital souls are noted to be apart of the Castle's power[187], which alter grimoires, which do not adhere to the laws of reality[188]), Power Modification (The vital souls are noted to be apart of the Castle's power[189], which the vital souls cause alterations of the Grimoire that can greatly limit the powers of those far stronger than them, such as Jonathan Morris' power being limited due to the alterations[190]. The Chaos of the Grimoire destabilized the magic of the others[191])

Wields the Vampire Killer, which grants:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Non-Standard Interaction (Metaphysical Interaction; The Whip of Alchemy can interact with ghost[198]. Elemental Interaction; The Whip of Alchemy can interact with enemies that are the mist itself[199]), Air Manipulation (The Alchemy whip can create a large gust of wind with its finishing attack in a combo[200]. The Alchemy whip can create wind blades around its user to protect them from all directions[201]), Light Manipulation (The Alechemy whip can bring down holy light to attack the enemy[202]), Holy Manipulation (Holy Whips cannot be touched by people weak to holy magic or else it will burn their hands and cause them to disentergrate[203]).

Resistance to Mimicry (The Castle is unable to perfectly mimic Leon's weapons[204])

All previous powers and abilities to a greater extent, Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Anti-Type Weaponry (Can harm and kill anything related to vampires, even if they are a divine being[205]), Extrasensory Perception (The Vampire Killer can sense who is a vampire[206], even those who are half-vampire such as Alucard[207]), Magic (The Vampire Killer has been referred to as a magic whip[208]), Contact Damage (Just through enemies merely touching the Vampire Killer they will be damaged by its effects[209]), Non-Standard Interaction (Abstract Interaction; Can interact with and kill Death, the abstract concept of death. Metaphysical Interaction; The Vampire Killer can interact with the creaturEs of the night[210] which includes[211] ghosts[212]. This is also shown in Haunted Castle Revisited[213]. Noted by Simon Belmont that the Vampire Killer will cleave one's soul[214]. Elemental Interaction; The Vampire Killer can interact with creatures of the night made of sand[215]. Can interact with creatures of the night made of fire[216]. Can fully disperse and destroy water bubbles instead of the attack just going through it[217]. Blood Interaction; Can harm and kill enemies made of blood[218]), Nullification (Invulnerability Negation; The Vampire Killer can completely remove Walter's invulnerability[219] to where he was immune to all other[220] weapons prior other then the Vampire Killer[221]. Power Nullification; Julius sealed the Vampire Killer within Dracula's castle in order to rip away Dracula's soul and magic[222]. Energy Nullification; Should be comparable to other magical whips that have been used to negate Dracula's Demonic Megiddo[223]. The Vampire Killer can nullify energy projectiles through hitting them[224], even those from Dracula[225]. Can negate fire projectiles[226]. Electricity Nullification; Can completely disperse and nullify electricity attacks[227]. Seal & Forcefield Nullification; The Vampire Killer can easily break open barrier seals[228]. Transformation Nullification; Christopher with the Vampire Killer injured Dracula so bad to the point that he was unable to transform back into "human" form[229]. Abstract Nullification; The Vampire Killer can nullify and destroy the scythes from Death, who can use his scythes to kill abstractions such as distance and sound[230]. Pain Immunity Nullification; The Vampire Killer can make the White Dragon visibly react to pain[231] and scream out in pain, where it is an immortal being immune to pain and suffering[232]), Regeneration Negation (Holy; Christopher with the Vampire Killer injured Dracula to the point that his powers were greatly depleted and he was unable to do things like simply transform back into "human" form[233]. Juste with the Vampire Killer could permanently kill Dracula's Wraith to where he'll fade from the world for good who regenerated from the complete destruction of his body[234]), Immortality Negation (Ageless & Life and Death Immunity; The Vampire Killer can render immortal skeleton death gods like Death, mortal, having him bleed from attacks, giving him mortality as shown when Death dies to his own scythe cutting off his head and having blood spurt out, something not possible as a skeleton[235]. The Vampire Killer can kill Death to the point that he requires Mathias to survive in order for him to rise from the dead[236]. Death is a being unconstrained by mortality[237]. Immortal Metaphysical Aspect; Can harm and kill anything related to vampires, even if they are a divine being[238]), Resurrection Bypassing (The Vampire Killer can kill zombies[239], who are corpses brought back to life from the power of hate[240]), Purification (The Vampire Killer can purify people who was turned into a monster[241]. Christopher with the Vampire Killer purified his son of the evil effects of Dracula[242]), Fire Manipulation (Enemies fade into fire upon being struck with the Vampire Killer[243]. Enemies burst into flames when struck by the vampire killer, with the flames attaching to anything it's connected to, such as a spider having its webs burst into flames too[244]. The whip can have fire burst around the enemies even without them dying[245]. Causes even objects like coffins to burst into flames[246]. This is even shown in Lament of Innocence, once Leon has the vampire killer[247]. This is even shown in graphic novels such as Belmonts Legacy[248]), Explosion Manipulation (Trevor swinging the whip at the ground caused the ground to explode[249]), Memory Manipulation & Soul Manipulation (The Vampire Killer holds the souls of the many Belmonts who once wilded it[250], the Vampire Killer could also possibly hold the souls of Belmonts who have not even touched it yet, as it was originally planned to have it summon Julius from the future but they ultimately didn't go with the idea), Lifeforce Absorption (Even if the The Vampire Killer accepts one as its master, it still chips away at one's life force with every lash[251]. One must sacrifice their lifeforce in order to wield it[252]), Deconstruction (The Vampire Killer can reduce one to just a skeleton[253]), Light Manipulation (The Whip can create orbs of light to light up torches[254])

Resistance to Attack Reflection (The Vampire Killer can harm Dracula with attacks where Dracula's mere rib bone reflects all projectiles back[255]), Mimicry (Doppelganger is unable to mimic the vampire killer during[256] the time of Lament of Innocence[257])

Air Manipulation & Paralysis Inducement (With Wind, stops enemy movement and attacks in all scenes except the area boss and stage boss battles[258]), Healing (With Ice, restores the player's entire life gauge[259]), Fire Manipulation ((With Flame, a flash attack effective against all enemies but area and stage bosses[260]), Light Manipulation (With Saint, sends a wave in front of Sonia[261]), Destruction (Physical Destruction) & Nullification (Attack Nullification; With Magic, destroys an enemy other than the area and stage bosses and nullifies the enemies attack[262])

    Note

    Trivia

    • The good ending of Castlevania Legends has some implications that Sonia's child was fathered by Alucard. As Alucard was her only love interest within the game and no other male love interest is mentioned.
    • Sonia was intended to star in Castlevania: Resurrection, a canceled Castlevania game for the Sega Dreamcast.
    • Sonia is depicted with a sword at her side in several pictures from the Castlevania Legends instruction booklet. However, she never uses one in the game itself. In the Castlevania: Resurrection pre E3 demo, she does appear to use a sword/axe to slash at close-quarters enemies.
    • She met Alucard when she was 17 years old, as mentioned in the instruction booklet. However, the official guide claims that she met him at 15. The age given in the guide is probably a misprint.
    • Sonia is one of only two lead protagonists in the series that are female, Shanoa being the other. However, Sonia is no longer part of the main timeline.
    • Sonia Belmont's existence and the entire happenings of Castlevania Legends were removed from the official timeline of Castlevania in November, 2005 because they conflicted with the plotline of the main games[270].

“What have you misunderstood? I am Death. Human death only comprises a part of chaos. They can come back again as zombies or skeletons, but without a soul, dead bodies cannot be revived. And ----- there is no reason to perform that.”
    58. Akumajo Dracula: Kabuchi no Tsuisoukyoku "Those scythes constructed by magic did not turn towards Olrox or Michelle, every scythe then gathered near the youth’s body.
Then, those numerous blades made from magic overlapped with each other and with a powerful atrocious magic constructed a Death scythe in Death’s arm.
“This false castle……You shall fall into chaos as a thing that denies the existence of the [lord]……[death] shall pass judgment on your sins!”
Sensing the overwhelming existence of [death], Olrox again realized that the youth in front of him is [Death]------laughed out loud.
“interesting…… So, death really exists! Thus I’ll use all my power…… to shatter that thing called [death].”

“…… If so, why did you take power away from the crack in the eclipse’s seal? If you just intend to imitate like a monkey, isn’t your own power enough?”
Those were the emotionless words of Death.
In response, Olrox laughed his bold answer.
“As I’ve said, I would equally gain control over the human world and the source of Dracula’s power, chaos. I do not intend to obey someone else’s mind aside from my own. That includes you who were born out of chaos.”
      “……”
“You should be glad though to know yourself. Just by stealing power, my shameful monotonous time is over…… Even before Alucard appeared, just because I showed up and declared war on him.”
Olrox’s voice was mixed with a tinge of thin delight. He respectfully bowed to Death who completely killed his emotions.
“I would end the reincarnation cycle of this demon castle. I who understood and was spun out of the stains of chaos, swear to rob that power with my hands. Now, yield.”
With Death’s reply, an explosive murderous intent rose.
Two bronze colored scythes much larger than usual appeared; it advanced to the space in between the two men with an intention to cut off Olrox’s head.
      Kill the distance-----
      Kill the sound-----
      Just, faster, soon, die.
It can be seen that the blades have certainly caught Olrox’s neck, but----- that is only an after image and the vampire is already at Death’s back.
      “……die.”
That was said by the enemy who called on his servants.
From the surrounding space, a group of purple bats rose, passed by Olrox’s arm with the speed of a bullet, attacking Death. However, Death did not show any gesture of avoiding them. He simply faced Olrox and sprayed out numerous scythes.

The youth had more than 28 holes penetrating his limbs and body. His heart is already starting to fail and he is desperately trying to say something amidst the darkness.
      “Only…… protect…… you……-----“
When he said those words he must say, the man’s soul already left his body-----becoming one of the floating spirits that wander the halls of the castle.
      However-----
      Fate did not allow it.
For those people who are involved with the demon castle, even the loneliness of death seemed half hearted-----
The man’s soul is pierced by a small scythe that flew in from somewhere. That scythe did not exist physically. It was a diabolic blade created by some magic and possessed a strong soul."

“I picked this up at the garden and I believe this is yours, right? Old man Julius also uses a whip. I came here just to deliver this to ya.”
Whoosh, receiving the thrown whip, Michelle noticed that it was the magical whip that serves as Curtis’ weapon.
“That’s great……! Curtis! With this your power-----“
In order to shake away the confusion she had a while ago, Michelle raised her voice, but-----
“Sorry, but…… with my current self, I could not handle it.”
“……? What are you talking about? Curtis……”
was he still confused, Michelle made him grip his whip.
Snap, some kind of popping sound rang and Michelle felt a light shock in her arm.
      “Uh……!?”
What happened, she directed her eyes on the origin of the shock-----
A part of the whip’s handle had a rotten like disintegration-----
A part of Curtis’ hand was burned, and that skin immediately returned back to as before.
