Amy is a cheerful, though slightly erratic girl, with a positive attitude and boundless energy. Not much is known about Amy's early life except that she had always loved fortunes and other mystical things, and that she practiced some of it using her own tarot cards. In Sonic the Hedgehog CD, Amy predicted from her tarot cards that she would have a "destined" encounter with Sonic on the small satellite known as Little Planet. Amy thus traveled to Little Planet as it made its annual appearance. There, Amy found Sonic and instantly fell in love with him, prompting her to hug him in excitement. However, Sonic did not reciprocate her advances. At Collision Chaos however, Amy was kidnapped by Metal Sonic, Dr. Ivo Robotnik's latest creation and taken into Robotnik's captivity. Fortunately, after Amy got tied up in Stardust Speedway, she was saved by Sonic after he defeated Metal Sonic. After Sonic then defeated Robotnik and the doctor's base began to fall apart around them, Amy was safely carried back to earth by Sonic, where she only caught a glimpse of him running away and setting Little Planet free. In Sonic Adventure, Amy had returned to her home in Station Square where she lived a normal, albeit boring life. While out shopping, reminiscing about her times with Sonic, Amy saw the Egg Carrier fly over the city, only to be knocked over by a Flicky with a pendant which she named "Birdie." Soon after, ZERO appeared and chased after Amy and Birdie, but they escaped the robot by hiding. Realizing that Dr. Eggman was after Birdie, Amy promised to protect it. Soon after, Amy found Sonic and asked him to be Birdie's bodyguard. Though Sonic refused, Amy still followed him until ZERO showed up again. Amy and Birdie tried escaping ZERO, but it soon caught them and took them to the Egg Carrier where they were locked up. There, Gamma came to collect Birdie, but Amy refused to hand it over and instead pleaded it to release them. When Gamma could not understand Amy's devotion to Birdie, Amy pitied his lack of emotions, but in a surprisingly twist, Gamma chose to free them. Seeing that it was a good robot, Amy gave Gamma her friendship and fled with Birdie. While escaping, Amy and Birdie briefly were taken into the past by a mysterious light where they saw Tikal have her first meeting with the Chao and Chaos at the Altar of the Emerald. Continuing their escape, Amy and Birdie came across Eggman, just as Sonic and Tails came to her rescue, who grabbed Birdie from Amy and took a Chaos Emerald from its pendant. Gamma was then sent to eliminate them, but Amy got Sonic to let Gamma go before he destroyed him. As the Egg Carrier began to lose altitude, Amy was taken back to the ground by Tails, though not before advising Gamma to stop following Dr. Eggman. Arriving in Station Square, Amy discovered from Birdie's pendant that it had a family and decided to help find its family which was in Dr. Eggman's captivity. As their search took them to the Egg Carrier's remains, Amy found Birdie's family, only for ZERO to suddenly show up and hurt Birdie. Enraged, Amy finally destroyed ZERO and tended to Birdie, who recovered and happily flew off with its family. As Amy left the Egg Carrier, she resolved to make Sonic respect her. Later, Amy returned to Station Square, which had been destroyed by Perfect Chaos, a powerful creature who sought to destroy the world. After Perfect Chaos released the seven drained Chaos Emeralds, Amy found one and brought it to Sonic, while her other friends brought the other six. Through their caring for each other, Amy watched Sonic use the Emeralds' positive chaos energy to become Super Sonic and defeat Perfect Chaos while neutralizing its evil. In Sonic Shuffle, Amy, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles were suddenly teleported to the Temple of Light in Maginaryworld. There, they met Lumina Flowlight who explained she had brought them here to help her restore the Perfect Precioustone which had been shattered by Void and made their protector, Illumina, vanish. With Void poised to destroy Maginaryworld, Amy and her friends agreed to help Lumina. While locating the Precioustone pieces and restoring the worlds corrupted by Void, Amy sometimes had dreams where she met Void. While initially defying Void, Amy and her team noticed he was lonely and sad which touched their hearts, and they eventually saw that Void and Lumina were two halves of the same being. After the Precioustones were returned to the Temple of Light, Amy and her group went there when Void went after Perfect Precioustone. Inside the temple though, Void was consumed by sadness and became a monster. While Amy and her friends beat Void, Lumina lost hope as the Perfect Precioustone did not recovered. When Sonic found Void who had become a dark gem, Amy helped make Lumina accept Void by telling her how negative feelings was important for dreams to be stronger. With Lumina cheered up, Amy and the others saw her restoring the Perfect Precioustone, and Lumina and Void merging back into Illumina. With Maginaryworld restored to an even better place, Amy and the gang received Illumina's gratitude before returning home. In Sonic Adventure 2, Amy heard that Sonic had been arrested by the military and imprisoned on Prison Island, so she traveled there to rescue him. There, Amy met Shadow the Hedgehog and initially mistook him for Sonic, but soon realized her mistake and saw that he was with Dr. Eggman, who had come to steal the islands' Chaos Emeralds. As Amy was cornered by Eggman, she was saved by Tails whom she joined up with to free Sonic. With Tails' help, Amy found Sonic's cell and heard from Sonic that he was imprisoned because of Shadow, whom Amy recognized. Telling about Shadow and his allegiance to Eggman, Amy freed Sonic using a key card she stole, before chasing after him as he left. When Prison Island then began to explode, Amy, Sonic and Tails escaped it in time. Because of her involvement in Sonic's escape, Amy was made a target of G.U.N. As the trio went to Central City, Amy, Sonic and Tails saw a broadcast from Eggman, where he revealed the Space Colony ARK and displayed the Eclipse Cannon, powered by six Chaos Emeralds, by blowing up half of the Moon, before demanding world control within 24 hours or he would fire the cannon at earth. Just as Tails had an idea of tracking Eggman, the police arrived, forcing Amy and Tails to go into hiding while Sonic distracted them. As Tails and Sonic planned a way of finding Eggman radio, Amy and Tails met Knuckles whom Amy literally dragged into their adventure. After locating Eggman, Amy and her friends found Eggman's base with Knuckles' help where they expected to find a space ship that could take them to the ARK so they could destroy the Eclipse Cannon. Inside the base though, they were ambushed by Dr. Eggman and his Egg Golem. While Sonic took care of the Egg Golem, Amy and the others got themselves a space shuttle. While en route to Space Colony ARK, Knuckles attempted to take control of the shuttle when a stray asteroid released his Emerald Shards, causing Amy's team to crash on the ARK. Onboard, however, Amy was left behind by Sonic and Tails while they left to destroy the Eclipse Cannon. No sooner, Amy was taken hostage by Dr. Eggman who demanded Tails' Chaos Emerald in exchange for Amy's life. Sonic arrived to fulfill the barging, but Eggman knew they were trying to give him a fake Emerald so he trapped Sonic in a capsule set to explode. As Amy received Sonic's goodbyes, his capsule was shot into space and exploded, leaving Amy grief-stricken. After Tails beat Eggman (though they still lost their Chaos Emerald), Amy and Tails heard Sonic, who survived the explosion, over the radio and they watched him destroy the Eclipse Cannon. As Amy reunited with everyone though, it was revealed the Space Colony ARK was now on a collision course with earth. Everyone then saw a recording of Gerald Robotnik announcing to the world that the ARK would crash into the planet and destroy it as his revenge at the world for the death of his granddaughter, Maria. Banding together with Eggman, the group came up with plan of using the Master Emerald to deactivate the cannon's core, which was powered by the seven Chaos Emeralds, to stop the Space Colony's crash course. On their way, Amy was left behind, but then came across Shadow, who wished Maria avenged as well, and begged for his help. Through telling him that humanity was worth saving and deserved to be happy, Amy made Shadow remember that Maria wished for him to bring hope to humanity and got him to join them. After stopping the Chaos Emeralds though, the Biolizard became the Finalhazard and kept the ARK on its collision course. Amy soon after provided advise to Super Sonic and Super Shadow over transmissions as they beat the Finalhazard. After Super Sonic and Super Shadow then brought the Space Colony ARK back into orbit, Amy found Sonic returning alone, informing them that Shadow had seemingly died in the fight. As Amy tried to talk with Sonic about Shadow's death, the group all decided to head back home to earth. In Sonic Advance, Amy joined forces with Sonic, Tails and Knuckles to stop Dr. Eggman from obtaining the seven Chaos Emeralds. Over the course of their adventure, Amy and her friends recovered the Chaos Emeralds before Eggman, who they chased to the X-Zone. After they defeated the Egg X, Amy, Tails and Knuckles returned to Earth while Super Sonic faced Eggman in a final confrontation on the moon. There, they awaited Sonic's return, but grew confused when he did not show up. A few days later though, Sonic finally returned. In Sonic Advance 3, where the Earth was split into seven regions by a massive Chaos Control induced by Dr. Eggman, Amy met Sonic and her friends in Toy Kingdom. There, Amy thought Sonic would ask her out (while threatening him with her hammer), before joining their mission to restore the world and stop Eggman. Traveling across the different regions, Amy and her friends eventual recovered the seven Chaos Emerald and had Cream join them. Along the way, Amy also faced Dr. Eggman's newest creation, Gemerl, a rebuilt version of Emerl. Eventually, Amy and the others made it to the Emerald Altar where they beat the Hyper EggRobo and used the Master Emerald to return the world to normal. Later, Amy and the others found Sonic after his battle with Ultimate Gemerl where she was brought to tears of joy. Shortly after, Amy following Sonic out on new adventures. In Sonic Pinball Party, right after Sonic had foiled another of Dr. Eggman's attempts at world domination, Amy got brainwashed by Eggman, who made Amy serve him. When Sonic later came to stop Eggman's latest scheme by participating in Casinopolis's Egg Cup Tournament, the mind-controlled Amy took part in the tournament in an effort to stop Sonic. When Amy and Sonic faced off in the third round however, Amy was defeated by Sonic, which restored the female hedgehog's free will. She and Eggman's other prisoners were soon after liberated when Sonic defeated Eggman. In Sonic Heroes, Amy had been without contact with Sonic for a month. Making little progress on his trail, she almost gave up when she saw Sonic's picture in a newspaper. Excited, Amy went to the publishers to ask where the picture was taken when she met Big, Cream and Cheese who revealed they looked for Froggy and Chocola respectively, both of whom appeared with Sonic in the newspaper picture. As they pondered on their only clue, Amy nearly lost it to a breeze, but her friends got it back. Regrouping, the quartet then set out to find their friends, forming Team Rose. As Team Rose took their search to the coast, they were attacked by Dr. Eggman and his Egg Hawk, but they defeated the mech and made the doctor retreat. Following her heart's hunches, Amy led her team to Grand Metropolis where they, after escaping the Power Plant, found Team Sonic. This time, Amy tried to force Sonic to marry her by fighting him, but Sonic managed to use the fight to escape Amy and her team. Though depressed that Sonic got away, Amy came up with the plan of finding Eggman and thereby finding Sonic. As Team Rose searched for the doctor, Eggman appeared and attacked them with his robot horde, but Team Rose destroyed it. When they reached Rail Canyon, Amy's team-mates picked up on Froggy and Chocola, and they headed to Eggman's base where they met the Egg Albatross which Amy lead her team into battle with to impress Sonic. After the fight, however, Amy discovered, much to her anger, that the Eggman they fought was a copy and Froggy and Chocola were nowhere to be seen. With Amy suspecting Eggman was behind Froggy and Chocola's disappearance, Team Rose left to find Eggman to save their friends. Team Rose's search eventually took them to the jungle where they met Team Chaotix. Amy initially turned Vector down when she thought he was asking for a date, but when Team Chaotix demanded Cheese, the two teams ended up fighting. When Team Rose reached Hang Castle, Amy had to push her team onward when they were scared by their surroundings. After they escaped from Mystic Mansion, Team Rose were met by Eggman and his robot horde, but they still defeated it. After that, Team Rose traveled to the Egg Fleet to find Eggman's main fleet, the Final Fortress. Once they got there, Team Rose defeated Eggman in his Egg Emperor in a final confrontation. Though their opponent turned out to be another fake, they found Chocola and Froggy in its remains and had a happy reunion. No sooner, Amy saw Sonic nearby and quickly chased after him. Not long after, Team Rose, Sonic, Chaotix and Dark united to see Neo Metal Sonic reveal himself. As it turned out, Neo Metal Sonic, who had been impersonating Eggman, was the true kidnapper of Froggy and Chocola and the one staging the teams' adventures so he could copy their data for a plan to conquer the world himself. As Neo Metal Sonic transformed into Metal Madness, the real Dr. Eggman saw the teams had collected all the Chaos Emeralds and got the idea of using the Emeralds against Metal Sonic. Amy and her team then volunteered to stall Metal Madness with the others while Team Sonic prepared the Chaos Emeralds. Despite Team Rose's efforts, Metal Madness transformed into Metal Overlord, but a super transformed Team Sonic then arrived and defeated him while Amy watched on. After the battle, Amy resumes her chase after Sonic, saying goodbye to her team while doing so. In Sonic Battle, Amy had moved to Central City. When out looking for Sonic, Amy met Tails and Emerl, a Gizoid Sonic had found which Dr. Eggman was after. Asking Tails about Emerl, Tails explained that Emerl was like Sonic's baby project. However, Amy took this statement literally and thought that Sonic was testing her to see if she would be a capable mother. Tails tried to tell her otherwise, but Amy snapped back, scaring him off. Alone with Emerl, Amy told him to call her "mommy" with positive results, but then Rouge came to steal Emerl for her own purposes. Amy fought Rouge to protect Emerl but was defeated. Remorsefully, Amy told Tails what happened, before tracking Rouge down twice to take Emerl back by force but kept failing. When Sonic himself got Emerl back from Rouge, Amy showed up to smack Rouge some more while promising Sonic she would make a good mother, much to Sonic's confusion. Haunted by her failure to keep Emerl safe, Amy resolved to become stronger so she could protect him, and so took up boxercising. However, she began training excessively when she figured she could get Sonic to notice her by losing weight. During her training, Amy would drag Cream and Cheese into helping her. Later, Amy met Knuckles and Emerl at her apartment, where she hoped, Sonic had come to propose. Sometime later, Amy resumed her search for Sonic and got his location from Tails. When she found Sonic and Emerl, she berated Sonic for his parenting until he ran away when Emerl made a bad choice of words. However, Amy took this as a test to see if she could protect Emerl from Eggman which she accepted. Soon after, Amy and Emerl were attacked by E-121 Phi which they defeated them and seized their Emerald Shards. Knowing Emerl developed with each Chaos Emeralds he got, Amy figured Sonic would accept her as his wife if she helped Emerl mature with more Emeralds. Before searching for Emeralds, Amy took Emerl to her apartment to help him practice some fighting moves upon his request. There, Amy met Cream and talked about how Emerl was to help her, and Sonic raise a family (though Cream doubted it) before working out with all three of them until she collapsed from exhaustion. Emerl soon after sensed a Chaos Emerald, and Amy went to investigate it with him, but had to fight Chaos Gamma on the way, who Amy mistook for her old rescuer. Arriving in Night Babylon, Amy and Emerl found two and destroyed another two E-121 Phis and took their Emerald Shards. Tracing the last Emerald Shard to Club "Rouge", Amy and Emerl found Rouge and fought her for the ownership of the shard, eventually making her hand it over. However, Rouge warned them that Shadow, who wanted Emerl destroyed, was near, so Amy and Emerl went to Tails so he could assemble their Emeralds Shards. Once Tails formed a whole Chaos Emerald, Amy gave to Emerl, allowing him to develop more. Just then, Sonic showed up and Amy told him (somewhat threatening) of how she had helped raise Emerl and that he now had to marry her. As Sonic told Amy to close her eyes, Amy expected a kiss from Sonic, but opened them only to see that Sonic was gone. However, Amy just attributed this to his shyness. A while later, Amy and Cream watched Emerl while Sonic and Tails checked a lead on a Chaos Emerald. While Emerl helped Amy with her exercises, however, Eggman kidnapped Emerl, Cream and Cheese. Thankfully, the trio was able to save themselves. Sometime afterwards, Amy met Emerl who asked her for a fight so he could face Shadow. Amy accepted and was defeated but was more concerned about her diet. Later, Amy came to see Emerl stop Eggman and his Final Egg Blaster onboard the Death Egg through a monitor. When Eggman was defeated, however, Eggman fired the Final Egg Blaster, destroying some stars, causing Emerl to revert to his original programming which was bend on destruction. However, Eggman could not control Emerl as excepted, and Emerl prepared to fire the Final Egg Blaster at Earth. With Sonic the only one capable of stopping Emerl, Amy begged him to do it. When Sonic's original plan to stop Emerl with the Master Emerald failed, however, he had to destroy Emerl. Once it was done, the world was saved, but everyone mourned Emerl's death. In Shadow the Hedgehog, Amy joined Sonic and several of her friends in battling the Black Arms, who had begun invading earth, and would try convincing Shadow to join their cause. She appears in Shadow's Hero Missions. In the last story, Amy, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge and Dr. Eggman found Shadow and tried to stop him from giving the Chaos Emeralds to Black Doom, the Black Arms' leader. Black Doom however, took the Emeralds and used an enhanced Chaos Control to transport the Black Comet to the surface, planning to use humans as energy sources for his kind. Shortly after, Amy and her allies were paralyzed by a special nerve gas and Black Doom unleashed the Death leeches to prey on them. However, it turned out Shadow was immune to the gas and he left Amy and the others behind as he went to stop Black Doom. Soon after, Amy and the other got out of the Black Comet and found some shelter from where she and the others cheered Super Shadow on as he fought and defeated Devil Doom. After Super Shadow sent the Black Comet back into space and blew it up with the Eclipse Cannon, Amy was positive Shadow had survived when Rouge worried about it, before joining her friends for a laugh as Knuckles furiously chased Eggman around. In Sonic Rush, Amy was once again on the lookout for Sonic. During her search, Amy met Cream and her new friend Blaze the Cat, and quickly asked Cream if she had seen Sonic, but without luck. Amy was then introduced to Blaze by Cream, but she got a little mad and threaten Cream when she mentioned her shortcomings. After that, Amy greeted Blaze, though she warned her not be looking for Sonic out of affection, before taking off to find him. Eventually, she found Sonic, who tried to ask her where Blaze was. Amy, believing this meant Sonic liked Blaze, was then about to explode with anger, but calmed down once Tails explained the situation. Amy then told them where she was, only for Sonic and Tails to leave her behind. Afterwards, Amy met Cream and Blaze again and told them Sonic was looking for them, but Blaze dismissed that as she did not want Sonic's help for finding the last of her missing Sol Emeralds. Amy, however, insisted she could rely on friends and told her with Cream about how they were all friends now. When Knuckles then arrived to settle a dispute with Blaze, Amy held him back while Cream and Blaze got away. Some time later, in the aftermath of Sonic and Blaze's final battles with Dr. Eggman and Eggman Nega, Amy came affectionately towards Sonic to celebrate the victory, but made Sonic run away, leaving Amy to chase him. Soon after, Amy, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Cream, came to Blaze's aid when Eggman and Eggman Nega drained all her Sol Emeralds of their power to conquer both Sonic's dimension and Blaze's world. With Amy and the others' support, Blaze recharged the Sol Emeralds, becoming Burning Blaze, and joined up with Super Sonic as they defeated the doctors and saved both worlds. In Sonic Riders, Amy signed up for Dr. Eggman's EX World Grand Prix to "keep her eye on Sonic," who was also participating along with Team Sonic. After the qualifications rounds, Amy found Sonic and told him why she was participating, much to Sonic's dismay. Amy then heard Tails' explanation surrounding the legends of the Babylon Rogues, an opposing team in the competition working for Eggman, and Babylon Garden, until they met Wave the Swallow who walked by and mocked Tails' Blue Star (and placed a bomb on it). While angry at Wave for this, Amy soon after hurried out to the next race where she faced Wave but was defeated, eliminating Amy from the tournament. At the the Grand Prix finals, Amy came to cheer Sonic on in hopes of winning by beating Jet. Jet won however, and Amy and the rest witnessed Jet use his winning prize, the seven Chaos Emeralds, in tandem with the Key to Babylon Garden to reveal Babylon Garden itself, intending to claim its treasure. When Eggman then snatched the Key to claim the treasure himself, Amy tried to stop him, but ended up riding the doctor's Egg Mobile to Babylon Garden. On Babylon Garden, Amy was taken hostage by Eggman. When Sonic then came to stop Eggman, Amy was used as a shield by the doctor to keep Sonic away. However, Sonic created a series of windstorms on his Extreme Gear, which freed Amy from Eggman's grasp. Amy, however, was furious at Sonic for endangering her with those moves and chased him around with her Piko Piko Hammer. Her chase was interrupted however when they heard a roar and went to check it out. Venturing inside Babylon Garden, Amy and her friends saw the Babylon Rouges had awoken the Babylon Guardian when looking for Treasure of Babylon and were forced to fight it. After beating the Babylon Guardian, Amy and the others found the Treasure of Babylon, which turned out to be a Magic Carpet, much to the disappointment of Eggman. With this ordeal over, Amy and her friends departed from the Babylon Rogues for the time being. In Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, a few months after the World Grand Prix, Amy was in Botanical Kingdom when she found a mysterious stone on the ground. After just picking it up however, she was chased by a lot of SCR-HDs, a part of a currently global robot rampage who were after the meteorite. While running away from the robots, Amy found Team Sonic, where she quickly flirted with Sonic before telling her story. Amy then heard that Team Sonic also had a meteorite and were being attacked by the robots too. With more SCR-HDs heading their way, Amy and her friends escaped from the robots and decided to head to MeteorTech, the creator of the robots, for answers about the mysterious stones. When they got there, Amy and her group were discovered by the security cameras. However, the Babylon Rogues arrived, and Jet repelled the security robots with another meteorite and demanded Amy's meteorite, the Ark of the Cosmos. Amy however, not knowing what it was, did not understand him. When more security robots showed up and everyone tried to leave, Amy was blocked by Storm who demanded her meteorite, but she hit Storm with her Piko Piko Hammer and ran away from him. As Storm continued to chase after her to Aquatic Capital, Amy chose to give up her meteorite by throwing it in his face before forcing him to lead her back to Team Sonic. During the trip, however, they were attacked by a SCR-HD who blew up when it scanned their Ark of the Cosmos. Amy was then left behind when Storm took SCR-HD's Ark of the Cosmos and ran away. Soon after, Amy was reunited with Team Sonic who had looked for her, and she explained to them what had happened. Knuckles thought the robot rampage would stop now since their leader was gone, but Tails, having learned that Dr. Eggman started it by putting an Ark of the Cosmos in MeteoTech’s mother computer, figured it would only stop if they all remove the Ark of the Cosmos from the mother computer. As they tried to figure out where the mother computer could be, Amy remembered Storm mentioning the Gigan Rocks, a place with information about the Ark of the Cosmos in a chalice in the ruins in the Gigan Device. Under Knuckles' guide, Amy and her friends went there to search for clues about the Arks of the Cosmos. Arriving at the Gigan Rocks, Amy and her group discovered from the ruins that the Arks of the Cosmos were power units for Babylon Garden. Suddenly, Amy and her friends saw the Babylon Rogues chase after Eggman to the East above them and learned that the location of MeteoTech's mother computer was in the East by the direction Eggman fled and found the plume in ruins of the Gigan Rocks. Travelling there, Amy and the group found the Crimson Tower and the Babylon Rogues, who explained that Eggman had stolen their Arks of the Cosmos and ran in there. Concluding that Eggman planned to use the Arks to control all the world's robots for world domination, Amy and her friends raced the Babylon Rogues to the top of the tower to Eggman with all of the Arks of the Cosmos at stake. After Team Sonic and the Babylon Rogues battled Eggman's defective robot, Amy met up with Team Sonic in Monopole. Amy, Sonic and Knuckles heard from Tails of how the Arks of the Cosmos made the robots to go amok, and she thought that the tradition of wishing upon a star was started by the ancient Babylonians who hoped shooting stars were the Arks of the Cosmos falling down to earth so they could get back home. No sooner though, Amy and her friends saw Jet flying by, who challenged Sonic to a race, which Sonic accepted. In Sonic Free Riders, Amy followed Sonic to the newest World Grand Prix, hosted by Dr. Eggman. Hoping that Sonic would participate, Amy decided to join to see him. Since it was a team competition, Amy reformed Team Rose by making Cream rejoin and hiring Vector as a member too by promising him half of the prize money. After barely getting into the competition in time (which Amy blamed Vector for), Team Rose went up against Team Heroes for their first race, which Amy took as a sign of fate. As Team Rose won their face-offs, Amy thought Sonic was letting her win, even though he was not. After beating Team Heroes, Amy promised Sonic a date after her team won the Grand Prix. For their next race, Amy and her team faced Team Babylon who mocked them for their uselessness, but Amy claimed only Vector was useless. In the end, Team Rose defeated Team Babylon, and Amy contributed this to her love for Sonic. In the finals, Team Rose went up against Team Dark. While Team Rose got one victory after another, Amy argued with Vector about his cockiness until Cream stopped them. When it seemed like Team Rose finally beat Team Dark and had secured their victory however, Vector blurted out that E-10000B was too damaged to be in the race, meaning their last victory did not count. As a rematch was issued, Amy accused Vector of the damage before resuming the competition. Once Team Rose secured their defeat of Team Dark and their tournament victory, Amy was overjoyed and made Omochao patch her to Sonic. There, Amy surprised Sonic by telling him she was ready for their date now and ran off to find him. During the extra rounds, Team Rose had their own fair share of defeats too, with Amy remaining sour about their losses, but nevertheless passionate about Sonic. At the end of the tournament, Amy and the other teams came to the awards ceremony to collect their prizes, but Eggman made them have a final race against his "ultimate Gear-Jockey robot." After the race, Eggman revealed he had used the Grand Prix to collect everyone's racing data with his E-10000 robots to create the ultimate Extreme Gear for him to use. As Eggman challenged the others to a race, Amy gladly accepted it. After beating Eggman, Amy demanded their prize money when Metal Sonic suddenly revealed himself as the one controlling E-10000B. It was then discovered that Metal Sonic had been giving Eggman fake data so he could use the real data himself to beat Sonic in Extreme Gear riding. Following this revelation, Amy and the others watched Sonic, and Metal Sonic engage in a heated race, with Sonic being victorious. With the World Grand Prix coming to a close, it was revealed Eggman never had a prize to give out, upsetting Vector. Amy, however, remarked he should be feeling privileged to have raced with cuties like her and Cream. In Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), Amy was out looking for Sonic once more, and had tracked him to Soleanna. During the night, Amy found Silver the Hedgehog, who she believed was Sonic, and hugged him, but quickly realized her mistake. When Amy learned however that she had made Silver lose sight of someone he was looking for, Amy promised to help Silver find that person, despite his protest. Prioritizing her own search first, Amy had Silver help her find Sonic before she would help Silver with his search, though Silver was not interested at first. Following Sonic's trail, Amy and Silver found him in Soleanna Castle Town, but to Amy's shock, Silver attempted to kill Sonic, who was actually the one he had been looking for. However, Amy stopped Silver before he could land the final blow, allowing Sonic to escape. Confused, Amy heard Silver explain that Sonic would soon destroy the world, but Amy refused to believe this, even if it turned out to be true, and left Silver in anger. Amy later resumed her pursuit for Sonic and infiltrated Dr. Eggman's base during her search. When she attempted to flee when she realized the danger present however, Amy met Princess Elise as she was escaping from Eggman's captivity, and Amy rescued her from the base. Later, out in the free, Amy learned who Elise was when they introduced themselves and that someone had helped Elise beforehand. Amy took this as a sign that Elise was in love with that person, who she could relate and wished her good luck before escorting Elise to safety. Later on, Amy met up with Tails and Knuckles in Soleanna Castle Town when they were suddenly caught in a spatial distortion created by Solaris and sent to End of the World, where they were united with Shadow, Silver, Rouge, E-123 Omega and Eggman. There, Amy found Sonic and Elise, and was heartbroken when she discovered that Sonic was dead, having been killed by Mephiles the Dark to remake Solaris. With Solaris preparing to destroy time and Amy crying over Sonic's passing, however, Elise sensed that Sonic's soul was still among them, which made Amy and the others set out to find the Chaos Emeralds to bring Sonic back to life. After Elise revived Sonic as Super Sonic, Amy wept at his return and supported him as he, Super Shadow and Super Silver took off and defeated Solaris. When Sonic and Elise then ensured Solaris never came to exist, time was reverted, resulting in the events and memories of the adventure being erased and Amy to be returned to where she was prior to these events. In Sonic Rivals, Amy was turned into a card by Eggman Nega with his special camera. When Eggman Nega later met Sonic and Tails on Onyx Island, the doctor showed Amy's card to Sonic and explained what he had done to her before turning Tails into a card as well, making Sonic set off to save both his friends. When Eggman Nega later escaped to his space station, the doctor planned to use Amy's card, along with some other cards to fuel his special camera as he used it to turn Earth into a card, but he was stopped by Sonic, Knuckles, Shadow and Silver. After the battle, Amy was returned to normal by Sonic and she took this as a sign that they were to live happily together. Sonic however, claimed he had to find Eggman Nega’s other card captives and ran off, much to Amy's dismay. In Sonic Unleashed, Amy once again pursued Sonic. She eventually found him in Spagonia at night where she was quick to hug him. As she took a look at Sonic, however, she could not recognize him due to him being in his Werehog form. Believing him to be a stranger, Amy apologized and ran off, inadvertently depressing Sonic. Not long after, Amy was forced to dance with some people possessed by Dark Gaia's Minions, but was saved by Sonic and Chip, but before Amy could get a look at Sonic, he fled. She soon after met Professor Pickle and had him tell her everything about Sonic. After learning about Sonic's new form, Amy met up with Sonic and told him that he was still him to her despite his look. From there, Amy followed Sonic, Tails, Chip and Pickle in their mission to restore the earth after Dr. Eggman had broken it apart. While Sonic and Chip were gone on adventures, Amy would help Pickle with his work and await their safe return. When Pickle later moved to his research facility in Shamar, Amy came with. Later, after Sonic and Chip went to fully restore the planet by sealing Dark Gaia, the creature behind the planet's shattering, Amy and Pickle saw the sky turning dark. As Pickle recognized this as Dark Gaia's act to destroy the world and despaired, Amy had unwavering faith that Sonic would save them. As Amy predicted, the world was soon after returned to normal thanks to Sonic and Chip when they defeated Perfect Dark Gaia. With everyone celebrating, Amy shorty listened to Pickle's reflection on the meaning of Light and Dark Gaia before deciding to prepare a "coming home" party for Sonic with Pickle. In Sonic and the Black Knight, Amy had managed to make a date with Sonic, but when the time came for it, he did not show up. When Amy met Sonic later, he explained he had been on an adventure in the world of Camelot. However, Amy believed Sonic made that up as an excuse for forgetting their date before proceeding to chase after Sonic and attacking him with her Piko Piko Hammer. In the Nintendo DS version of Sonic Colors, Amy, after going on a long time without seeing Sonic, managed to track Sonic to Aquarium Park on Dr. Eggman's Incredible Interstellar Amusement Park. Upon finding Sonic and Tails, Amy was overly excited to see him again and asked him to complete a mission for her entertainment. After Sonic finished it, Amy noted it was "dreamy" and asked Sonic to marry her, causing Sonic to ditch her and leave her with Tails. When Sonic completed her mission with excellence, Amy began planning her honeymoon with him, only to notice he had run away. Later on, Amy found Big and had him help her find Sonic, despite that Big was looking for Froggy. Once they found Sonic, Amy asked him to do another mission for them as entertainment while they rested from their search. After Sonic was done, Amy decided to have a picnic with him, believing they were certainly on a date despite Tails commenting that they were in the middle of Eggman's base. In the console/PC version of Sonic Generations, Amy attended and helped prepare Sonic's surprise birthday party. As the party started, however, the Time Eater suddenly appeared. Amy was then sucked into one of the Time Eater's Time Holes and ended up in White Space, where she was turned into a statue due to the Time Eater's effects. Eventually, Amy was returned to normal by Sonic and Classic Sonic. When the Sonics confronted the Time Eater, which was revealed to be controlled by Eggman and Classic Eggman, Amy arrived at the battle with the others and cheered on both Sonics, allowing them both to transform into Super Sonics. When the Sonics defeated the Time Eater, Amy and the others were sent back to the present, where Amy knocked Knuckles into a tree for deeming Sonic's performance "half-bad". Continuing the celebration from where it left off, Amy later waved goodbye to Classic Sonic and Classic Tails when they returned to their own world. In the Wii U version and PC version of Sonic Lost World, Amy remained behind with Knuckles to look after some Animals while Sonic and Tails went to free the other animals Dr. Eggman had captured. While waiting, Amy contacted Sonic, who reported they only rescued one capsule of animals, and she pleaded to him to save the others. When the Deadly Six took control of Eggman's Extractor and began draining the life out of earth, Amy contacted Sonic and Tails and reported about this phenomenon. Eventually, Amy herself became drained of her energy to the point where her death seemed imminent. Contacting Sonic, Amy told him it was too late for them, and urged him to save the world as their transmission got cut out. Fortunately, she and everyone else were saved when Sonic and Tails got the Extractor to return the stolen energy. Following the world's restoration, Amy welcomed Sonic and Tails back when they arrived. In Sonic Forces, after Dr. Eggman had successfully defeated Sonic (and seemingly killed him) and conquered over 99% of the world, Amy and her allies formed a ragtag resistance group to counter the Eggman Empire's reign. While Knuckles led the Resistance, Amy would handle the communication work. As six months went by without the Resistance making much progress, Amy, still affected by Sonic's absence, would dream that he was still with them. During a meeting in the Resistance HQ, Amy looked up the file for the new recruit that was joining them for the rest to see. Afterward, Knuckles introduced the Avatar to Amy and the others. Soon after, Amy learned from Knuckles that Sonic was still alive, much to her joy, although he was currently imprisoned onboard the newly rebuilt Death Egg. With the Resistance planning to save Sonic, Amy joined a squad on a mission to the Spaceport where they procured an Eggman Fleet shuttle to head to the Death Egg in. However, Amy's team had to speed up their rescue when they learned from Rouge that Eggman had caught wind of their efforts and had moved Sonic's execution ahead of schedule to prevent the rescue. Fortunately, the Resistance and the Avatar ultimately found and rescued Sonic, whom Amy immediately tried to talk to once he was on the radio and brought him back to Earth. With Sonic back and a part of the Resistance, Amy guided him and the Avatar when they attacked the Arsenal Pyramid, Eggman's main munitions factory in Green Hill. Afterward however, Amy detected a battle between Silver and Infinite (Eggman's new henchman) in Mystic Jungle and sent Sonic to help Silver. While Sonic headed there, Amy noticed the Eggman Fleet's unfortunate bombardment of the local Resistance troops while trying to keep Sonic updated. Discovering later that the Eggman Army had broken into the city, Amy had the Resistance mount an evacuation. Amy herself kept the HQ updated on the battle in the city, which ended with the Eggman Army retreating. Later on, Amy followed and guided the Avatar when they went to Aqua Road to investigate two lifeforms that had been detected there. These lifeforms turned out to be Tails and Classic Sonic, the latter having been brought to Amy's dimension by Eggman's new power. As the two were brought into the Resistance, Amy learned from Tails that Eggman had a plan that would wipe them all out in three days. Soon after, Amy kept Sonic posted on the whereabouts of Shadow, who had seemingly joined the Eggman Empire, when Sonic went to confront the black hedgehog. In the aftermath however, Amy learned from the real Shadow, who joined the Resistance, that the familiar faces in Eggman's army were but replicas created by Infinite. During Operation Big Wave, Amy kept the Resistance posted on the losses they suffered as a result of Infinite's Phantom Ruby prototype's power. Ultimately, the Resistance was forced to withdraw. Afterward, the Resistance began looking for a way to stop the Phantom Rubies. In the meantime, Amy discovered a Metal Sonic replica in the city, which she guided Sonic and the Avatar to. When the Resistance later discovered that they could stop the Phantom Rubies by destroying their power source onboard the Death Egg, Amy benched Knuckles, who wanted to be a part of the plan to destroy the Death Egg, since the Resistance needed his leadership. When the Avatar later attacked Guardian Rock to distract the Eggman Army as a part of their plan, Amy provided the Resistance army with analyses and updates on the Death Crab that roamed the area. As planned, the Avatar's distraction allowed the Resistance to destroy the Death Egg, whose destruction Amy observed from the HQ. Believing the Phantom Rubies to be out of commission, the battle-weary Amy joined another attack on Metropolis, their objective being to capture Eggman and end the war. During the battle, Amy kept Sonic posted on his search for the doctor. Although Eggman evaded capture, the Resistance managed to capture Metropolis, something which Amy told Sonic when victory seemed imminent. They also learned, much to their horror, that Eggman had a backup power supply for his Phantom Rubies underneath the Eggman Empire Fortress. Having less than an hour left before Eggman began his endgame, Amy and the Resistance attacked the Eggman Empire Tower, where they faced Eggman's replica army and Infinite. During the attack, E-123 Omega came to the rescue of Amy and co. when Infinite threatened to finish them. It was then that Infinite executed Eggman's endgame; using his Phantom Ruby, he created a virtual sun to drop on the Resistance. Thanks to the Avatar however, who was in possession of a Phantom Ruby prototype, the sun was vanquished, allowing Amy and her friends to continue the fight. After Sonic and the Avatar defeated Infinite, Amy follows their and Classic Sonic's subsequent efforts that led to the destruction of the Phantom Rubies' reactor. Eggman, however, had foreseen this and his used his original Phantom Ruby in conjunction with his Death Egg Robot to create thousands of replicas to overwhelm Amy and the rest with. Fortunately, Sonic, the Avatar and Classic Sonic beat Eggman's robot, which made his replica army vanish and left the Resistance as the victors. In the aftermath, Amy bid farewell to Classic Sonic, whose return to his dimension was imminent with the Phantom Ruby now gone. Amy then followed Sonic's example and set out to clean up the mess Eggman had left the world in. A while later, during a last meeting in the Resistance HQ, Amy saw Knuckles disband the Resistance as the Avatar announced their departure. The friends then agreed with Tails that even though they were going back to their old lives, they would be friends forever and keep working together to restore the world. In Team Sonic Racing, Amy and her team were having a picnic when Team Sonic showed up, having been invited to this location. Just as Amy invited Sonic to join them, a stranger appeared, a Tanuki calling himself Dodon Pa. Introducing himself as the one who sent the invitation, Dodon Pa told Team Sonic that they would be racing as a team in the most advanced cars he could create in a Grand Prix that would test their limits. Amy did not trust Dodon Pa, however, due to his vagueness and his Eggman-esque way of speaking. Regardless, Sonic convinced his team to participate in Dodon Pa's Grand Prix. As Team Sonic set off to join Dodon Pa on the way to Planet Wisp where the first race was, Amy and Omochao joined Big when he was allowed to come along, making Team Rose official competitors in Dodon Pa's Grand Prix. For the races, Amy received the Pink Cabriolet to race in. Even as the races began though, Amy could not help but notice similarities between Eggman and Dodon Pa. As the races progressed, Amy would talk with her friends about how this whole Grand Prix setup seemed out of place. Although her friends agreed with her, Amy kept racing. Eventually, she took time off to talk with Omochao about Dodon Pa's amazing cars and tech. However, she remained vary of Dodon Pa, especially after he took his racing challenges up a notch. Amy tried asking Dodon Pa about his motives for making them race afterwards, but all she got was a vague, condescending reply. Not long after, Team Vector joined the Grand Prix. Upon talking with Vector, Amy admitted that she did not trust Dodon Pa at all, before being goaded by Sonic into facing in him another race. Later, as Dodon Pa took his challenges up another notch, Amy objected to this, as someone could eventually get hurt. However, her protest fell on deaf ears. Meeting Blaze soon after, Amy learned that Blaze had received an invitation to the Grand Prix as well. Seeing that Dodon Pa had managed to send a message to another dimension, Amy realized that their enigmatic host was very powerful and told Blaze to be careful around him. Not long after, Dr. Eggman and his team joined the competition, along with Team Dark. While waiting for the next race, Amy and her team were radioed by Tails, who instructed them to join Team Sonic and Team Dark on the racetrack in order to help them take down Dr. Eggman, who had intruded on the two teams' race in order to compete against them on his own as a "special guest" (which Dodon Pa permitted despite knowing it was a lie). Amy herself gladly complied since it meant her team could get some extra practice. With the aid of her teammates and the Skim Boost technique, Amy was able to get into position. She then joined forces with the rest of Team Rose, Knuckles, Tails, Rouge, Omega and Team Vector. Together, they surrounded Eggman on the racetrack before delivering a massive beatdown on the doctor with their combined Wisp power-ups. However, Dodon Pa was too busy watching Eggman's beating to see who crossed the finish line first. Later, after learning that Dodon Pa and Eggman was seemingly working together and that they were talking about some kind of engine, Amy opted that they should stop them. However, since they knew nothing about whatever plan they were cooking up, all the heroes could do for now was keep racing. Amy soon after tried to convince Big that Dodon Pa was not to be trusted but failed. Eventually though, Big noted that Dodon Pa was good since the Wisps were working with him, making Amy realize that Dodon Pa might not be evil after all. Later, after Amy and Sonic talked about how crummy a racer Eggman was, the doctor had Metal Sonic join his team, much to Amy's worry. Amy would later talk strategy with her team. As the races progressed, Amy ignored Big's attempts to tell her about a big guy hiding in the shadows in favor of focusing on the races. After another race, Amy saw the Chao spectators go amok after spotting someone, who turned out to be Zavok, whom Eggman quickly recruited for his team. Not long after, the races began to take their toll on Amy, but circumstances forced her to keep competing. Not long after though, Vector revealed to Amy and everyone else that Dodon Pa was actually the king of a planet and the President of Donpa Motors. Dodon Pa soon after revealed that he was using the Grand Prix to gather information for his corporation's Ultimate Energy Engine, which Dodon Pa wanted to use for philanthropic purposes. Realizing they had misjudged Dodon Pa, Amy apologized to him. Afterward, Amy got annoyed by Sonic's competitive spirit as he tried to resume the competition. Soon after, the heroes learned from Big that Eggman had kidnapped Dodon Pa and brought him to the Final Fortress. Wanting to rescue Dodon Pa, Amy and co. went to the Final Fortress. There, Eggman had them compete in a number of races with Team Eggman and his army of Eggpawns in exchange for Dodon Pa, not knowing Eggman was using them to gather the Ultimate Team Energy needed to finish the Ultimate Energy Engine. Once the engine was complete, Eggman stole it from Dodon Pa and incorporated it into his Death Egg. Amy and her crew subsequently faced the Death Egg, and beat it in a race. However, the Death Egg soon after went crazy and drove into the Final Fortress's core. As the Final Fortress crashed, Amy and her companions were forced to abandon their cars and evacuate the airship while Team Sonic saved Dodon Pa. Down on the ground, Amy was reunited with Team Sonic when they arrived with Dodon Pa. Just as the Grand Prix seemed over since the cars had been destroyed when the Final Fortress crashed, Dodon Pa decided to give everyone new cars, thus allowing Amy and her friends to race once more. |

Equipment
- Piko Piko Hammer: The Piko Piko Hammer, also called the Magical Hammer and Love Hammer, is a large yellow and red hammer and Amy Rose's signature weapon, which she uses as a melee weapon and to perform special techniques. Despite its colorful and innocent appearance, the Piko Piko Hammer is a powerful melee weapon, capable of dealing incredible damage with seemingly little effort. It can effortlessly smash whole robots with a single swing, yet is graceful enough to be used for high-speed techniques. It can likewise send foes flying with a single hit or crush them with devastating force. As a testament to its might, even fearless individuals like Sonic and Knuckles dread getting a beating from the Piko Piko Hammer. When swung, it tends to leave a trail of pink hearts. Mixed with Amy's abilities, the Piko Piko Hammer can be used for many applications besides combat. When swung around fast enough and with the right amount of force, the Piko Piko Hammer can function as a propeller for flight, launch powerful shockwaves that can stir up miniature tornados, or unleash massive releases of energy, and provide boosts for different acrobatic maneuvers. When not using it, Amy keeps the Piko Piko Hammer in a hiding spot that remains unknown to this day (according to a non-canon trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl), but she can pull it out of nowhere on a moment's notice.
- Rings: The Ring, also known as the Gold Ring, is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Rings serve as a unique health system in gameplay throughout most of the series; in most cases, as long as the players hold even one Ring, it will protect them from losing a life upon taking damage. Instead, the players lose a portion of their Rings, though the amount varies between games. Aside from this, Rings have served many other purposes in different games, and collecting them grants things like extra lives, Continues and points. Though of unknown origin, Rings can be found everywhere on earth and other places beyond time and space. They are most commonly found everywhere in the different games' levels, but can also be obtained from Item Boxes, Badniks and other sources.
- Chaos Emeralds: The Chaos Emeralds, also known as the miracle gems or gems of miracles, are objects that appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. They are seven ancient emeralds and mystical relics tied to the Master Emerald that possess powerful properties and abilities. Those that hold the Chaos Emeralds can use them for a variety of things, such as warping time and space, powering machines, and initiating super transformations. Anyone who combines all seven Chaos Emeralds can control unimaginable power. Even when not including their mystical powers, the Chaos Emeralds' monetary value and beauty make them prime targets of treasure hunters who seek to make a mint.

Notable Techniques
- Amy Dash: The Amy Dash is a technique used by Amy Rose. It first appeared in Sonic Advance 2 and later reappeared in Sonic Advance 3. When performing this move, Amy builds up speed by running in one spot and then shoots off forward with a high-speed dash. It serves as Amy's variant of the standard Spin Dash. In Sonic Battle it is a quick dash that she uses, in order to chase after Sonic.
- Back Star: The Back Star is an acrobatic maneuver used in midair. Its execution depends on the user; Sonic does a back-flip while Amy pushes her body backwards in a flip (similar to the Milky Turn). Regardless of performance, the Back Star causes the user stop and lurk backwards a few feet, thereby rapidly changing their flight direction. Amy notably gains much less distance than Sonic.
- Barrier: A force field all characters set up to block from attacks. They can hold it for several hits before it eventually breaks, after it breaks they cannot use it for the rest of the round.
- Big Air: When performing the Big Air, the user performs an acrobatic maneuver in midair that lets them spring upward to gain extra height. How this acrobatic maneuver is executed depends on the user. In gameplay, this move is useful for reaching areas above that are otherwise difficult to get to and avoiding falling into gaps. In addition, it will not cancel the momentum the player receives from the Boost Mode.
- Boost Mode: When entering Boost Mode, the users becomes able to run at extremely fast speeds, usually leaving afterimages in their wake. In gameplay, there are two ways to enter Boost Mode: the first one is by running at full speed for a while, and the other is by utilizing Dash Panels or horizontal Springs.
- Crouch: When performing the Crouch, the user assumes a low position by lowering their head and upper body. In gameplay, Crouching is useful for dodging attacks or obstacles that would otherwise hit the player while standing up.
- Crouch (Grinding): When performing the crouch, the user assumes a lower position while grinding along a Grind Rail to gain a small boost of speed. How this position is assumed differs between games. In gameplay, the crouch is useful for maximizing the player's grinding speed when their acceleration starts to falter at any time while grinding.
- Dash Boost: When performing the Dash Boost, the user envelops themselves in an aura and blasts forward at high speed, plowing through and across any obstacles. The move's aura varies between users (Sonic, Tails, Amy and Knuckles' are blue, Shadow's red, Blaze's is orange-yellow, Silver's is cyan, Rouge's is pink, Cream's is light yellow, and Espio's is purple). Additionally, the users' means of dashing varies as well: Sonic, Amy, Knuckles, Blaze, Cream, Espio run, Tails, Rouge and Silver fly, and Shadow propels himself forward with his Air Shoes. While performing it, the user automatically crosses bottomless pits and destroys all obstacles and enemies in their path, but the player cannot jump manually. In addition, the score multiplier doubles while the move is active. The Dash Meter steadily empties while the Dash Boost is used, and once it runs out, the move ends. There are upgrades in Sonic Dash that lets the player enhance the Dash Boost. In addition, the Dash Boost Item Box power-up will boost the Dash Meter so it lasts longer.
- Double Jump: Double Jump is a special move used after performing a jump. When performing it, the user does an additional jump in midair without using any solid surfaces to set off from. In gameplay, this allows the player to get higher into the air to accomplish different feats, such as crossing gaps too wide for a regular jump or reach targets that cannot be reached otherwise.
- Grab: When performing Grab, the users grasp an object with their hands and start carrying it around or holding onto it. In gameplay, unlike conventional items akin to the Rings, objects picked up with Grab do not disappear from the field and enter the in-game inventory when touched, but remains in the playable characters' hands. As such, Grab can under normal circumstances only be used on one object at the time.
- Grinding: Grinding is the act of balancing on a Grind Rail and then moving down such rails at high speeds. Most practitioners grind with their feet on the Grind Rails while others grind using other parts of their bodies, like their rear. Extreme Gear practitioners on the other hand always grind with their Extreme Gears on the Grind Rails.
- Grind Step: When performing the Grind Step, the user, while grinding besides a parallel Grind Rail, does a jump over to the parallel rail at high speed, from where they continue grinding. In gameplay, this move enables the player to quickly and safely switch lanes when grinding in Grind Rail sections. This way, the player can dodge incoming obstacles on the Grind Rails while still maintaining speed or the Boost, as opposed to simply jumping to another rail.
- Hammer Attack: Unlike most other characters in the Sonic series, Amy often lacks the ability to perform the Spin Attack and its variations. To compensate for this, Amy instead uses her skills with her personal weapon, the Piko Piko Hammer, to attack her enemies. In the Sonic the Hedgehog series, the basic Hammer Attack is where Amy calls out her Piko Piko Hammer and whacks the opponent in front of her while sometimes leaving a trail of pink hearts.
- Double Hammer: Amy hits the opponent with her hammer twice.
- Triple Hammer: Amy hits the opponent with her hammer thrice.
- Hammer Jump: When using the Hammer Jump, Amy pulls out her Piko Piko Hammer and smacks it into the ground. The force from the smash will then catapult Amy high into the air, allowing her to jump much higher than what she or any other character in the series can reach with a normal jump. When performing the hammer Jump, the Piko Piko Hammer leaves a trail of pink hearts.
- Jump Attack: When using the Jump Attack, Amy jumps into air and pulls out her Piko Piko Hammer where she swings it around while doing a body flip, thus damaging all enemies her hammer comes in contact with. This move is similar to the Spin Jump, although due to her hammer, Amy gains a much greater attack range. When performing the Jump Attack, the Piko Piko Hammer leaves a trail of pink hearts.
- Spin Hammer Attack: When performing the Spin Hammer Attack, Amy stays in one spot and begins twirling around with her Piko Piko Hammer outstretched at high speeds, like a spinning top, allowing her to destroy any enemies that enter her attack radius. While whirling, Amy's Piko Piko Hammer leaves a trail of pink hearts and afterimages.
- Spinning Hammer Attack: The Spinning Hammer Attack is very similarly to the Spin Hammer Attack, but without the dizziness drawback. When performing this move, Amy pulls out her Piko Piko Hammer while in midair and swirls it around while falling straight downward to destroy any target below her. In gameplay, this move is useful for reaching targets that appear below Amy with an attack just as she flies/jumps over them while allowing the player to damage enemies, break weak obstacles and certain platforms, and open Item Boxes in Amy's path. If Amy hits an enemy with this move, she will bounce higher into the air while continuing the attack.
- Swinging Hammer Attack: The Swinging Hammer Attack is a Speed Formation maneuver and a Solo Attack used by Amy Rose on Team Rose in Sonic Heroes. When performing the Swinging Hammer Attack, Amy pulls out her Piko Piko Hammer and spins it around, damaging all enemies within range. While using this technique, Amy leaves a trail of pink hearts. The move is so powerful that it can (at most times) even block the kick. However, performing the Swinging Hammer Attack will bring Amy to a halt should it be used while she is running.
- Head Slide: When using the Head Slide, the users move forward at moderately high speed before falling down on the ground on their stomach, and slide along the ground for a short while, before coming to a standstill. Any enemy they come into contact with while sliding are then either damaged or destroyed. In most cases, performing the Head Slide will cause the user to be enveloped in an energy field. For users such as Amy, however, the Head Slide will leave her briefly dazed.
- Hip Attack: When performing the Hip Attack, the user lunges forward the opponent before turning around and jumping. As the user moves forward, they strike their opponents with their rear. In gameplay, the Hip Attack is a combat move that generally deals damage and knockback to opponents.
- Homing Attack: When performing the Homing Attack, the user first targets a foe or object from midair. The user then curls into a spinball and launches straight into the target. After hitting, the attack's force will cause the user to bounce off the target. The user will then usually strike a pose. Also, when performing the Homing Attack, the user typically leaves a colored aura trail in their wake. The color of this trail depends on the user.
- Auto-Homing: Auto Homing is a Power Formation maneuver used by Team Sonic, Team Dark, Team Rose and Team Chaotix in Sonic Heroes. When performing this move, the Power type character from each team (Knuckles the Echidna, E-123 Omega, Big the Cat and Vector the Crocodile) approaches nearby enemies while their teammates automatically attack them with Homing Attacks.
- Hop Jump: When performing the Hop Jump, the user assumes a more aerodynamic pose as they fly through midair. The user then does a upward spring in midair to gain extra height. In gameplay, the Hop Jump is useful for reaching areas above that are otherwise difficult to get to and avoiding falling into gaps. In addition, it will not cancel the momentum the user receives from the Boost Mode.
- Humming Top: When performing the Humming Top, the users thrust their body forward through midair while sticking their legs outward to attack foes (often while spinning), thereby increasing their horizontal speed to gain distance. In gameplay, the Humming Top is useful for crossing larger areas when sent flying into the air or preserving the playable characters' momentum when falling to the ground, all while allowing the playable characters to damage any foe in their flight path. Additionally, the move will not cancel the momentum the user receives from the Boost Mode.
- Hyper Mode: Hyper Mode is a special move that appears in Sonic the Fighters. It can be activated in any fight by all fighters in order to increase the speed of their moves and unlock access to special Hyper Moves. However, the fighters lose some of their shields in the process of doing so. For the final fight against Eggman, the characters toss the Chaos Emeralds into the air right before fighting him. They activate it in order to beat Eggman in less than fifteen seconds and escape the destruction of the Death Egg II.
- Invisibility: Invisibility is a special move used by Amy Rose in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). When using Invisibility, Amy concentrates a pink energy, which begins to envelop her. Once the energy has been focused, several transparent rings move up and down her body which turn her completely invisible for fifteen seconds. While using invisible in gameplay, Amy cannot be detected by enemies, though she can still take damage.
- Leap: When performing this move, Amy Rose crouches down before taking a giant leap forward. In gameplay, the Leap lets Amy step a small distance forward. However, this move has no offensive capabilities when executed, unlike the Spin Dash.
- Long Wind Jump: When performing the Long Wind Jump, the user performs an acrobatic maneuver (or attack) in midair that lets them increase their horizontal speed to gain distance. How this acrobatic maneuver is executed depends on the user. In gameplay, the Long Wind Jump is useful for crossing larger areas when sent flying into the air or preserving the player's momentum when falling to the ground. In most cases, the Long Wind Jumps allow the playable characters to damage any foe in their flight path. Additionally, the move will not cancel the momentum received from the Boost Mode. Depending on the user, the Long Wind Jump may have other traits to it.
- Propeller Hammer: When using the Propeller Hammer, Amy pulls out her Piko Piko Hammer and begins swirling around with it in a manner similar to a propeller. This creates an updraft that allows her to momentarily sustain flight through the air for a short time. In Sonic Generations it appears that Amy has perfected this move as she can use it to fly through the air more freely and change her height at will. When using it in this game, Amy resembles a small pink tornado.
- Punch Attack: When using the Punch Attack, the user stands firmly on the ground where they punch the enemy in front with their fists up to three times in a successive combo attack.
- Quick Reverse: When performing the Quick Reverse, the user performs an acrobatic maneuver in midair that causes them to stop and lurk backwards a few feet, thereby rapidly changing the user's flight direction. How this acrobatic maneuver is executed depends on the user. In gameplay, the Quick Reverse is quite useful when the playable character is heading for obstacles or is about to have an awkward landing. Additionally, the move will not cancel the momentum the player receives from the Boost Mode. However, it normally leaves the users vulnerable to anything behind them.
- Rocket Accel: When performing Rocket Accel, the Speed type member of the team rolls into a ball, while the remaining teammates get up behind the Speed type member. Once gathered, the other teammates push the Speed type member forward with extreme force, propelling the Speed type member forward at high speed as a yellow field forms around them, allowing the player to damage enemies caught in the Speed type member's path. Additionally, Rocket Accel can attract nearby Rings, activate switches, and have the same effects as the Tornado Jump when used near poles and enemies.
- Slide: The Slide is very similar to the Skid Attack, but better as it possesses greater range and speed. When performing the move, the user falls down while running and slides along the ground with their feet in front of them. Sometimes, this creates an aura field around the user. In gameplay, while sliding along the ground, the user can damage any enemies or smaller obstructions caught in their path. The Slide also allows the user to squeeze through narrow entrances, cracks, or doors. In some games however, using the Slide causes the playable character to slow down. How long the Slide lasts depends on the game; on its own, the move usually automatically lasts until the user gets hit, slows down from the Slide's friction, hits a wall, or goes off a ledge. If chosen though, the user can break the Slide at any time before coming to a halt, and resume their running nearly undisturbed. Therefore, if the player wants to keep their playable character's momentum when forced to do a Slide, it is advisable to time the Slide so that it is only performed briefly. The attack range, or rather, the distance and speed the user can slide, is determined by how fast the user was moving prior to performing the Slide. In other words, the faster the user is running when executing the Slide, the greater the distance the user of the Slide will travel.
- Spin Attack: The Spin Attack consists of the user curling into a concussive ball or cutting disk while rolling along the ground at high speed. When used at a very high speed, the user is able to mow down or shred through enemies and breakable obstacles. In gameplay, the Spin Attack is the most basic maneuvers in the Sonic the Hedgehog games that the player can utilize after gaining enough running speed. Once activated, the playable character curls tightly into a ball that keeps moving forward, with the rotation speed increasing depending on how fast they are going. The functionality of the Spin Attack is variable despite its simplicity. While in motion with the Spin Attack, the playable character can dash through Badniks on the ground, break Item Boxes or breakable obstacles, such as rarefied walls and breakable blocks in the different Zones.
- Spin Jump: When performing the Spin Jump, the user first jumps up into midair and then curls into a ball, like when performing the Spin Attack, and starts rolling around in midair at high speed. However, certain characters can have different performances or variants of the Spin Jump. While performing the Spin Jump, the user can deal damage to any enemies that they make successful and undisturbed physical contact with, and also break breakable objects in the Zones, such as Item Boxes, barriers and certain floors.
- Stop 'n' Slam: When performing the Stop 'n' Slam, the user performs an acrobatic maneuver in midair that stops them in mid-flight and makes them plunge straight down on any target below them. How this acrobatic maneuver is executed depends on the user. In gameplay, this move is useful for reaching targets that appear below the playable characters just as they fly over them while often allowing the player to damage enemies, break weak obstacles and certain platforms, and open Item Boxes in the user's path. In addition, the move will not cancel the momentum the player receives from the Boost Mode. Depending on the user, the Stop 'n' Slam may have other traits to it or be incorporated as another of the user's attacks.
- Tornado Jump: When performing the Tornado Jump, the Speed type character jumps into the air and creates a tornado effect. Each team's Tornado Jump differs between each other in terms of performance. Amy forms a pink tornado with her Piko Piko Hammer and throws it forward at the opponents. This is called the Tornado Hammer. The common effects of each Tornado Jump depend on the type of enemy it is used on. If used on unprotected Egg Pawns, Egg Knights, or opposing playable teams, the Tornado Jump sucks the opponents off their feet and flings them into the air, before they fall back down to the ground. Upon landing, they will take damage and be potentially stunned for a short time - for some enemies, this can even reveal their weak spots. If used on Egg Pawns or Egg Knights wearing shields, the Tornado Jump will permanently blow off their shields, thus leaving them with a weaker defense. If used on larger or airborne enemies, the Tornado Jump will make them disoriented at most, but will deal no damage; in fact, it will causes such enemies to become temporarily invulnerable as they try to stabilize themselves. Each Tornado Jump also possesses an additional effect; the Blue Tornado and Black Tornado home in on foes, the Leaf Swirl turns Espio invisible, and the Tornado Hammer's vortex can be launched at foes from afar. Aside from affecting enemies, the Tornado Jump can be used in conjunction with some of the gimmicks in Sonic Heroes, such as scaling Poles or activating propellers.
- Trick Action: When performing a Trick Action, the users pull off a certain acrobatic maneuver. Some of these actions include the users thrusting themselves in certain directions, twisting themselves around or doing body flips. These maneuvers are normally executed while the user is thrown into mid-air, although there have been some cases where they can be pulled off while grinding or while setting off gimmicks. Each Trick Action is different in execution and is performed in accordance to the user's own unique style; while using the same Trick Action, Sonic may move his legs around while Knuckles strikes with his fists.
- Tag Action: Tag Action is a special ability used in Sonic Advance 3 and Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II. Tag Actions are performed by two characters and give the player a unique ability.
- Sonic: Amy behaves the same way she does in Sonic Advance 2, but with an aerial forward dash added by pressing A while jumping in mid-air.
- Tails: Amy behaves the same way she does in Sonic Advance, except that she can glide slowly down with balloons, and her aerial hammer attack gives her an extra upward boost.
- Floating Fall: The Floating Fall is a move used by Amy Rose with the influence of Miles "Tails" Prower and Cream the Rabbit. The move can only be performed when Amy is partnered with Tails or Cream, or when Cream is partnered with Tails, Amy or Cream must be the player character with Tails and/or, in Amy's case, Cream as the partner. The move is performed by pressing and holding the "a button" whilst in the air. When performing the Floating Fall, the character pulls out an object which they use to slow down their descent, the object differs depending on which character uses the move; Amy uses a pair of balloons, whilst Cream uses an umbrella. The move allows the player to slow their fall, which can be used to reach certain places that might be hard to reach without the move. When performed by Cream, the move gives the player extra height before the player slowly starts descending, and can be used to move over certain obstacles.
- Mid-Air Hammer Jump: The Mid-Air Hammer Jump resembles a combination of the Hammer Jump and the Jump Attack. To perform the Mid Air Hammer Attack, Amy must have Tails as her partner. Here, Amy must be the character the player controls, and Tails serves as the character that follows the controlled character. With Tails' influence, Amy can perform the Mid-Air Hammer Jump. When performing the Mid-Air Hammer Jump, Amy must be in the middle of a jump. She then pulls out her Piko Piko Hammer and performs the Jump Attack, which will damage any enemy near her. Once she brings her hammer down in front of her however, she will launch herself higher into the air in a way similar to the Hammer Jump, except that she does not have to whack into the ground, but rather into the air. When performing this move, Amy leaves a trail of pink hearts. At this point however, Amy is not performing an attack and is therefore vulnerable to damage.
- Knuckles: Amy's standard ground hammer becomes huge. Amy has a forward dash similar to her Spin Dash in Sonic Advance 2, but she does not curl up into a ball when she uses it (resembling the Super Peel Out). In addition, by pressing down and B on the ground, she will do a forward flip with her hammer, and pressing it in the air will use her Spinning Hammer Attack (that she also has with Sonic).
- Big Hammer Attack: The Big Hammer Attack is a move performed by Amy Rose with the influence of Knuckles the Echidna and is a stronger variant of the Hammer Attack. The Big Hammer Attack can only be used when Amy has Knuckles as her partner. With Knuckles's influence, Amy's Hammer Attack is automatically transformed into the Big Hammer Attack. When performing the Big Hammer Attack, Amy pulls out an oversized and massive version of the Piko Piko Hammer and whacks the opponents in front with enough force to create small tremors and break metal barriers that are otherwise invulnerable to Amy's attacks. However, the Big Hammer Attack takes much longer to be executed than a regular Hammer Attack, and also leaves Amy open and immobile for a longer period.
- Cream: Amy behaves the same way she does when partnered with Tails, but her aerial hammer attack gains her no extra air. Instead, she has the aerial tricks from Sonic Advance 2.
- Fire Combination: When performing Fire Combination, the Power type member of the team grabs his Speed type and Fly type teammates and carries them around, prepared to use them as boxing gloves or projectiles. Each team's Power type member carries his teammates around in a different manner. Big grabs Amy and Cream with his Fishing Rod as they both curl into spinball form. Once grabbed, Amy and Cream sit on each of Big's shoulders while he walks around.
- Bestowal: All wisps bestow Amy with a different set of powers and abilities upon going inside of him. The most basic white wisps can grant her the power to boost or fill her boost meter allowing her to boost for longer. Other wisps greatly enhance her speed.
- Transformation: Majority of wisps, once entering into Amy have the ability to transform her body into different kinds of objects depending on their power set, like the Indigo Asteroid turning her into a black-hole like object with its own gravitational pull, pink spikes turns her into a pink set of spikes, black bomb turns her into a bomb, etcetera.
- Black Bomb: Once absorbing the Black Wisp, Amy turns into a ticking time bomb that will eventually explode.
- Blue Cube: Once absorbing the Blue Wisp, Amy turns into a blue cube that causes massive shockwaves upon landing.
- Crimson Eagle: Once absorbing the Crimson Wisp, Amy turns into an eagle and can utilize this form's wings to achieve flight and soar through the air unhindered. The Crimson Eagle's only known weakness is that it can only be used for a few seconds and requires more Hyper-go-on from Crimson Wisps to be maintained.
- Cyan Laser: Once absorbing the Cyan Wisp, Amy turns into a pseudo-laser.
- Green Hover: Once absorbing the Green Wisp, Amy turns into a hovercraft.
- Ring Dash: The Ring Dash is very similar to the Light Speed Dash, except it is much slower, can be used on even vertical trails of Rings and requires the Green Hover. When using it, the Green Hover automatically moves along a trail of Rings without interruption though midair while picking up the Rings, until it reaches the end of the trail.
- Gray Quake: Once absorbing the Gray Wisp, Amy turns into an iron ball.
- Indigo Asteroid: Once absorbing the Indigo Wisp, becomes a miniature planet with a strong gravitational field. The user is as such capable of creating a powerful gravitational pull around themselves, strong enough to tear all kinds of objects to pieces and pull them into the Asteroid Ring. Additionally, the gathered matter can be used to empower the gravitational pull. The Indigo Asteroid also grants the user the ability to levitate through midair.
- Ivory Wing: Once absorbing the Ivory Wisp, Amy turns into a lightning bolt.
- Jade Ghost: The Ghost Attack is very similar to the Homing Attack, except it is slower and requires the Jade Ghost, among other things. When using the Ghost Attack, the user locks onto a target from a distance and pulls themselves towards it in a straight line. When doing so, a jade light tether line will emit from the Jade Ghost, which will connect straight to the that target. If used on an enemy, the user will pull themselves towards it and then land a damaging impact upon it. Notably, the Ghost Attack can even lock onto targets behind walls and objects, and then pull the user through the aforementioned obstructions until they reach their target.
- Magneta Rhytm: Once absorbing the Magneta Wisp, Amy turns into a musical note.
- Orange Rocket: Once absorbing the Orange Wisp, Amy turns into a rocket.
- Pink Spikes: Once absorbing the Pink Wisp, Amy turns into pink spikes, being capable of scaling on any surface.
- Purple Frenzy: Once absorbing the Purple Wisp, Amy gains powerful jaws that can chew through any robot’s armor and other durable obstacles that even Sonic cannot smash with a single hit. The Purple Frenzy can also consume any matter the user bites off and add it to their own mass, allowing the Purple Frenzy to grow larger for each bite until reaching maximum size. When reaching maximum size, the Purple Frenzy also gains a suction breath that let the user suck in smaller objects not too heavy or rooted to the ground. The Purple Frenzy is also capable of levitating a small distance above the ground, which is how it travels around without legs.
- Red Burst: Once absorbing the Red Wisp, Amy turns into a fire ball that can burst.
- Violet Void: Once absorbing the Violet Wisp, Amy turns into a pseudo-black hole, with a gravitational pull so strong that it bends space and time. This gravitational pull allows the Violet Void to draw objects into themselves from a distance and make them vanish into a void within them.
- White Boost: Once absorbing the White Wisp, Amy gains more boost gauge allowing him to boost even faster.
- Yellow Drill: Once absorbing the Yellow Wisp, Amy gains the ability to turn into a drill and burrow underground.
- Item Box Transfer: The Item Box Transfer is a team action that certain racing cars can pull off. With it, a car racer can request or offer an Item Box power-up to their teammates to help themselves or their teammates out throughout the race.
- Air Ride: Air Ride, also called Air Riding, is a move that appears in all three games in the Sonic Riders series. It is a racing maneuver used by racers riding on Extreme Gear, where users are able to take flight into mid-air on their Gear and pass through Dash Rings/Accelerators.
- Air Slide: When performing the Air Slide, the user shoots out a jet of Air from the side on the user's Extreme Gear, resulting in the user making a sharp turn while still moving at high speed. After making the turn, the user will then shoot forward in the direction he/she is facing. In gameplay, this is a useful maneuver for making it through sharp turns on the racing tracks while still maintaining top speed.
- Bowling Strike: Strikes anyone in its way.
- Free Throw: Stuns racer in 1st Place temporarily. Replaces Tee Shot when using a Bike.
- Gravity Control: Story-wise, in order to allow a user to perform Gravity Control, the user must possess an Ark of the Cosmos/Gravity Band which is required due to their gravity-altering properties. In order to perform Gravity Control in gameplay, the user must have accumulated enough Gravity Points (GP) in their GP Gauge. If the user has even a little amount of GP, they can perform Gravity Control. When performing Gravity Control, the user activates their Ark of the Cosmos/Gravity Band, which is signified by a small wave of light and ripples erupting from the Ark of the Cosmos/Gravity Band, followed by the Ark of the Cosmos/Gravity Band itself glowing. This causes the gravity in the user's nearby vicinity to be negated, causing nearby objects and the user itself to enter zero gravity, though the user will still move in the same direction as when the Gravity Control was activated (albeit at a slower pace). Once in mid-air, the user can directly select any new direction to head towards, even when the user were going at full speed on Extreme Gear. Once the direction has been selected, the user propels themselves forward at high speeds with a quick shift in gravity, while other objects caught in the gravity shift are destroyed, allowing the user to resume racing on their Extreme Gear at high speeds. This is sometimes referred to as "Gravity Drift".
- Gravity Dive: Story-wise, in order for the user to perform Gravity Dive, the user must possess an Ark of the Cosmos/Gravity Band which is required due to their gravity-altering properties. In order to perform Gravity Dive in gameplay, the user must have accumulated enough Gravity Points (GP) in their GP Gauge by performing tricks, grinding, opening certain Item boxes etc. If the user has even a little amount of GP, the player can perform Gravity Dive. When performing Gravity Dive, the user activates their Ark of the Cosmos/Gravity Band, which is signified by an brief explosion of light erupting from the Ark of the Cosmos/Gravity Band that turns all colors from the user's perspective monochrome. Once activated, the Ark of the Cosmos/Gravity Band will generate a temporary black hole further down the track, thus creating a powerful gravitational disturbance that makes all objects within a large radius of the user to enter zero-gravity. This results in larger objects along the side of the track, such as trains or tree trunks, to be torn off the ground and to float closer to the center of the track. At the same time, the user slowly gets off their Extreme Gear and starts floating above the ground, holding the minimized Extreme Gear loosely at their side. Once in position, the user usually shouts a personal quote and is, in an instant, pulled through mid-air towards the black hole at maximum speed. While flying through the air, the user has free movement abilities, can plow through most obstacles and can freely control their movements in all directions, though the player will slowly descend back to the ground if the Gravity Dive is used high above. Once the player runs out of Gravity Points or chooses to deactivate Gravity Dive, the user falls back on the ground and gets back on their Extreme Gear and resumes racing at high speeds.
- Kick Dash: When performing the Kick Dash, the user releases a burst of air from the rear of his/her Extreme Gear, resulting in the user and his/her Extreme Gear being propelled forward at high speed.
- Level 1 Attack: Shocks the opponent by making an angry face and shouting "Later!"
- Level 2 Attack: Hits the opponent with the Piko Piko Hammer.
- Level 3 Attack: Flattens the opponent with the Piko Piko Hammer.
- Octo-Ink: Distorts an opponent's vision when struck.
- Slide Turn: When performing Slide Turn, the user jumps while leaning towards the side they want to turn on their Extreme Gear, causing it to tilt and make a sharp sliding turn along the ground while still moving at high speed. After making the turn, the user will then shoot forward in the direction they are facing. In gameplay, this is a useful maneuver for making it through sharp turns on the racing tracks without using Gravity Control. It also partially overcomes the Wheel type Extreme Gears' inability to use the aforementioned move to the same extent as other Extreme Gears.
- Soda Rocket: Provides a burst of speed.
- Special Item: Character uses his or her special attack when using the Kick Dash.
- Target Torpedo: Locks onto and strikes an opponent.
- Tee Shot: Stuns racer in 1st place temporarily.
- Tornado: When performing the Tornado, the users spins around once on their Extreme Gear and uses their accumulated Air to release a grey mini-tornado in their wake. These tornados possess strong enough wind currents to knock an Extreme Gear rider off-balance.
- Drift: The Drift is a move that is performed with race cars to get through sharp turns. When performing this move, the user makes a sharp turn while using their accelerator and drifting controls at the same time. This causes the user's direction to shift rapidly in a smooth curve without them losing much of their momentum. At the same time, the user builds up a speed boost that will be triggered once the user finishes drifting. In gameplay, the Drift is useful for the player when they have to get through tight turns at high speeds. In fact, mastering Drift can help the player conquer the most complicated of tracks by making them able to perform 180 degree turns or more. Sometimes, using Drift will be the only way to master tricky corners. In addition, by continuously drifting, the player earns a speed boost which will automatically propel the playable character forward quickly upon ending their drifting maneuver. By using the Drift long enough, the player will build up their boost, allowing it to power through three different boost levels. For each increase in level, the Drift's speed boost will be empowered further, allowing for greater and faster acceleration when triggered.
- Radial Burst: The Radial Burst is a maneuver that can only be pulled off by Speed-Type characters (such as Sonic and Shadow) while they drive a race car. When performing the Radial Burst, the user emanates a blast that will destroy any incoming Wisp attacks from rival car racers. In gameplay, the Radial Burst is used by the player to intercept offensive Wisp power-ups from rival racers or push away close rivals. In order to perform the Radial Burst, the player must achieve at least a level 2 boost (this occurs when the charges behind the playable character's car turns purple). This can either be done by hitting two Boost Pads in a row or by charging and releasing a drift boost to at least level two. Afterward, as the boost initiates, the Radial Burst will automatically activate, destroying all incoming Orange Rocket and Crimson Eagle power-ups and pushing away all rivals caught in the blast.
- Rival Takedown: The Rival Takedown is a maneuver that can only be pulled off while driving in a race car. When performing the Rival Takedown, the user attacks an rival car racer with either a Wisp's Color Power or by shunting.
- Skim Boost: The Skim Boost is a maneuver that certain racing cars can pull off. When performing the Skim Boost, a car racer's teammate drives up next to the car racer and skims past them. This will cause yellow rings to appear around the car racer which will then close in around them. Once the rings disappear, the car racer will receive a brief speed boost.
- Slingshot: The Slingshot is a maneuver that certain racing cars can pull off. When performing the Slingshot, a car racers follows the yellow tire tracks of a teammate. By staying on the trail, the car racer's car will build up a speed boost which will come into effect when the user leaves their teammate's trail.
- Start Line Boost: The Start Line Boost is a move that is performed with race cars. When performing this move, the user revs up their car just before a race starts. If done correctly, then the user's race car will take off at high speed when beginning the race. If done incorrectly however, the user will start off with a plodding disadvantage.
- Stunt: The Stunt refers to a form of acrobatic maneuvers that the user performs with a race car. When performing a Stunt, the user uses their car to execute a form of aerial movement while their race car is in midair. By executing a Stunt, the user builds up a speed boost. In some cases, it even lets the user steer their race car through midair.
- Team Ultimate: When performing the Team Ultimate, the user, while riding a racing vehicle, surrounds themselves in a fiery golden aura that grants their vehicle a massive speed boost, thereby turning them into an unstoppable projectile that can plow through any obstacle and rival racer.
Other
Standard Tactics: She normally will use homing attacks and Piko Piko hammer.
Weaknesses: Is extremely obsessed with Sonic to the point that she’ll drop everything just to see him. More skilled fighters have shown to be able to take her hammer from her during combat.
