I do not intend to bind the world with chaos.”<br>“…… If so, why did you take power away from the crack in the eclipse’s seal? If you just intend to imitate like a monkey, isn’t your own power enough?”<br>Those were the emotionless words of Death.<br>In response, Olrox laughed his bold answer.<br>“As I’ve said, I would equally gain control over the human world and the source of Dracula’s power, chaos. I do not intend to obey someone else’s mind aside from my own. That includes you who were born out of chaos.”<Br>“……”<br>“You should be glad though to know yourself. Just by stealing power, my shameful monotonous time is over…… Even before Alucard appeared, just because I showed up and declared war on him.”<br>Olrox’s voice was mixed with a tinge of thin delight. He respectfully bowed to Death who completely killed his emotions.<br>“I would end the reincarnation cycle of this demon castle. I who understood and was spun out of the stains of chaos, swear to rob that power with my hands. Now, yield.”<Br>With Death’s reply, an explosive murderous intent rose.<br>Two bronze colored scythes much larger than usual appeared; it advanced to the space in between the two men with an intention to cut off Olrox’s head.<br>Kill the distance-----<br>Kill the sound-----<br>Just, faster, soon, die.<br>It can be seen that the blades have certainly caught Olrox’s neck, but----- that is only an after image and the vampire is already at Death’s back.<br>“……die.”<br>That was said by the enemy who called on his servants.<br>From the surrounding space, a group of purple bats rose, passed by Olrox’s arm with the speed of a bullet, attacking Death. | ||

Background
In the year 1691, exactly 100 years after his defeat at the hands of Christopher Belmont, Dracula started resurrecting himself once again. As the hearts of men began to darken and a cult of Dracula formed, the Dark Lord himself was resurrected on Easter Day. By this day and age, the Belmont Clan was still passing along their traditions of hard training and vampire hunting, with the newest member of the Clan to wield the Vampire Killer whip being Simon Belmont.
Much like his ancestors before him, Simon Belmont didn’t hesitate to take his whip and head to Dracula’s Castle; he was incredibly motivated by stories of his ancestors before him, namely Trevor and Christopher, who he hoped to live up to. Simon fought his way through Dracula’s Castle, destroying countless creatures of the night, before facing Count Dracula himself.
Although Simon was able to successfully slay the Dark Lord, unbeknownst to him, Dracula had placed a curse on Simon’s back, which would slowly kill him, in hopes of ending the Belmont bloodline for good. Unaware of this curse, Simon watched the castle crumble from far off.
Nearly a year passed, and Simon spent his days defeating any monster he saw near Transylvania, attempting to rid the land of any of Dracula’s remnants. While he was doing so, however, a strange man named Aeon appeared before him, and pulled him into a place known as the Time Rift. Here, Simon learned that there had been a convergence of time, and that a demon known as Galamoth sent his minion, the Time Reaper, to destroy the entire Castlevania time-space.
Eager to get the chance to meet heroes such as Trevor Belmont while traversing the Time Rift, Simon gladly went along with the plot. He hoped to not only save the timeline from destruction, but prove to himself that he was truly a legendary warrior, by challenging Trevor. Simon got his chance to do so, proving himself to Trevor, and finally defeating the Time Reaper. With everything done, Simon was returned to his own time, and continued hunting the demon stragglers.
Nearly six years following Simon’s adventures through the Time Rift, he began to feel incredibly weak. Kneeling at the Belmont Cemetery, he began to contemplate if he was going to soon die, and why. Out of nowhere, a mysterious woman appeared behind Simon, and informed him that seven years ago, Dracula had inflicted him with a terrible curse. She told Simon that the only way to break this curse would be to collect the body parts of Dracula, and then burn them.
Knowing this, Simon got up immediately and began searching all around Transylvania for the parts of Dracula’s body, and eventually he was able to track them all down; not without the help of a few townspeople, though. Simon finally placed the body parts at the altar and was ready to burn them, until they joined together and brought back Dracula’s soul.
Simon fought against Dracula’s Spirit as hard as he had the first time he faced the Dark Lord, and was successful in securing his defeat once again. After this hard-fought battle, Simon’s curse was finally dispersed, and he was brought back to peak health. The townspeople started looking up to Simon as the greatest hero of the age, and gathered around him, thus forming a village around the Belmont’s. This village would be where Simon’s grandson, Juste Belmont, grew up.

Lifting Strength: At least Class 10 (The Belmonts are known as the most powerful and renowned vampire hunters within the world of Castlevania[33], during and before Trevor's time[34], the Belmont's were feared because of their immense power[35], which should make them superior to Hector's Battle-Type innocent devils who can move entire tree logs that are blocking roads out of the way[36] where logs can weigh around 15 to 5 tons[37] and Hector's battle-type innocent devils can lift open large iron doors that "no man could force open"[38]. Superior to Trevor Belmont who is able to easily lift grown men with his whip and slam them on the ground[39]), Far Higher with Sheer Will | At least Class 10, Far Higher with Sheer Will | At least Class 10, Far Higher with Sheer Will
Travel Speed: At least Superhuman (Can outrun a bridge falling apart while fighting enemies[40]. Even while it comes out of nowhere[41]. Comparable to Leon Belmont, who was able to escape Walter's Castle while running from the top floor to the entrance, before the entire structure collapsed), Far Higher with Sheer Will | At least Superhuman, Far Higher with Sheer Will | At least Superhuman, Far Higher with Sheer Will
Attack Speed: At most Faster Than Light (Can tag 1600s Dracula, who serves as the absolute evil, the opposite to God[42], where for God to be perfectly good, there must be a being of perfect darkness[43], being the entity opposite to God[44], making him faster then enemies such as the Sky Fish who moves so fast that it appears as a beam of light and is only slowed down when time is stopped[45] and the White Demon, who can move at the speed of light at short distances[46]), Far Higher with Sheer Will | At most Faster Than Light, Far Higher with Sheer Will | At most Faster Than Light, Far Higher with Sheer Will
Reaction Speed: At most Faster Than Light (Can avoid attacks from a giant moving so fast it leaves behind afterimages[47]. Can dodge a shockwave attack[48]. Can tag the Wolf Woman who moved so fast she left behind afterimages[49]), Far Higher with Sheer Will | At most Faster Than Light, Far Higher with Sheer Will | At most Faster Than Light, Far Higher with Sheer Will
Stamina: Superhuman+ (Went through over 18 stages of Dracula's castle fighting enemies back to back without showing any signs of tiring[50]. During his second adventure to slay Dracula, Simon was inflicted with a curse that was slowly killing him, and yet still traversed the land and defeated the Dark Lord[51])
Range: Standard Melee, Extended Melee with Vampire Killer (The typical whip is around 90 centimeters), Higher with Morning Star (The Morning Star enhances the range of his whip[52]), Tens of Meters with throwing daggers and axes
Intelligence: Genius Intelligence (Able to utilize sub-weapons that possess great attack and power which in Castlevania requires one to have a high intelligence to be able to do[53]. Able to use a whip in combat, a hard weapon to be used to, to defeat various vampires. Able to solve Dracula's riddle), Higher or Lower with certain weapons (Some weapons can increase or decrease Simon's intelligence[54])
Knowledge: Grandmaster level (Can fight and defeat Dracula, where he was a genius tactician as Mathias, who they called "Cronqvist the Wise"[55]. Alucard notes that Simon's skill and the smell of blood makes him a Belmont to the core[56]. Fought on rising water while the platforms were falling apart and the merman kept attacking from the water[57]. Proceeded to fight a Skull Dragon in these conditions[58]. Can fight against multiple enemies while walking on sinking quicksand[59]. Climbed up a large flight of stairs while having to deal with several enemies attacked to the walls and on each platform[60]. Climbed up a clocktower with various platforms attempting to drop him while also fighting against the enemies[61]. Can outrun a bridge falling apart while fighting enemies[62]. Even while it comes out of nowhere[63]. Traveled up a stairway with enemies coming out of the blocks[64]. Can fight and defeat a perfect clone of himself[65]. Traveled through a forest where enemies attempt to sneak attack him through taking the form of leaves and emerge from the ground [66]. Trevor was the one that left behind many of the fighting techniques the Belmonts use today with Richter noting that Trevor refined those fighting techniques that have been handed down through the Belmont line[67], making all of the Belmont & Morris line have fighting techniques refined by Trevor and greater)
Powers and Techniques
Is a member of the Belmont Bloodline, which gives him:
Superhuman Physical Characteristics (The Belmonts are known as the most powerful and renowned vampire hunters within the world of Castlevania[68]. During and before Trevor's time[69], the Belmont's were feared because of their immense power[70]), Acrobatics (Due to Belmonts superhuman nature, they possess very athletic and acrobatic bodies, examples include Richter easily flipping over Death's scythe attack while also jumping around and fighting Death while on a moving horse carriage[71]. Ricther also showcases this with his boss fight in Dracula X where he must jump across platforms while also fighting against Dracula[72]. Julius showcasing extreme acrobatic leaps to reach the top of a castle drawbridge[73]), Genius Intelligence (Belmonts are trained and some of the best users of various sub-weapons, which in Castlevania requires one to have a high intelligence to be able to do[74]), Martial Arts (Trevor left behind all of his fighting techniques to each new Belmont clan member and Morris clan member[75]), Weapon Mastery (No matter the Belmont, they have all showcase a natural gift in using weapons, with Christopher showcasing the tools of his family's destiny are always the axe, dagger, cross, & stop watch[76]. Many of the famous Belmont weapons were left behind by Trevor[77]), Sheer Will (The Belmonts are all ones with strong courage and willpower, where having a strong constitution dictates and influences how fast one can recover from status effects such as poison or curse[78]. Belmonts are pillars of strength, willing to keep fighting even when weakened greatly and having their existence slowly erased from history[79]. Simon claims that the Belmonts and Morrises did not defeated Dracula because of the Vampire Killer, with the reason behind heroes' capacity to fight against evil lying not in their physical strength but the noble desire to drive away evil and usher in all that is good, the desire to protect the world for all of humanity, with the courage to fight to protect others being the true essence of a hero and a Belmonts strength, with this even applying for other heroes such as Shanoa, Maria, Charlotte, and even Arikado[80]), Aura (Belmonts release a glow of aura around them[81], that envelops their body[82]), Extrasensory Perception (Belmonts can feel others being in an area, such as Simon Belmont being able to feel Trevor Belmont is in the time rift[83]. Leon could sense and feel that Joachim Armster was a vampire[84]. Leon could sense the rage from a Vampire Killer[85]. Trevor could sense a bad omen approaching[86]. Christopher Belmont felt a "chill" upon Dracula's return[87]. Belmonts such as Juste could sense Death's overwhelming power[88]. Belmonts such as Juste could sense the aura of the two different layers of the castles[89]. Belmonts can see beings like the Bitterfly, a mutated insect, visible only to magicians[90]. Julius could sense the dark powers within Soma Cruz[91]. Julius could sense Dracula's powers at work within Graham, though could tell from sensing Graham that he very likely was not Dracula[92]. Julius when fighting Soma could feel the evil spirit within Soma but also Soma's good spirit[93]), Precognition (Premonitions; Belmonts can have future premonitions through their dreams, such as Christopher dreaming about Dracula stealing his son and turning him evil, far before he even had one[94]), Magic (Due to coming into contact with Rinaldo and gaining the whip, Rinaldo granted him a magic amulet[95]. where Leon gained magical energy that would naturally be passed down to all of his descendants[96]. Belmonts such as Julius naturally has magical powers due to this[97], along with Juste having magical powers deriving from the Fernandez (Belnades) family[98]), Principle Manipulation (Magic comes from alchemy, a field that experiments with the principles of God's creation of the world[99]), Afterimage Creation (Belmonts can envelop themselves in an aura of light that allows them to move so fast, their light projections cannot keep up[100]), Glyph Creation & Portal Creation (The Belmont blood acts as a key to[101] the infinite corridor[102]), Empowerment & Holy Manipulation (Belmonts can amplify weapons, Leon holding The Whip of Alchemy had it become more powerful then before, with Rinaldo stating that the whip fits Leon better then it fits him, despite him being the one to make the Whip of Alchemy[103]. Medusa even noted that it wasn't so powerful before believing the whip gained its complete form[104]. Belmonts can call upon the power of the light and use it to amplify their strength to be stronger and faster[105], this is also shown with Trevor Belmont's ultimate in Castlevania Judgment[106]. The Belmonts can use their stored energy (hearts) and transfer it into subweapons to make regular weapons as strong as they are along with magically enhancing them[107]), Invulnerability (Belmonts have an inborn self-defense ability known as "Burning Mode" which makes them invincible and raises their status to twice the normal level[108]), Statistics Boost (Belmonts get stronger from hearing of someone's grief, wanting to help them[109]), Reactive Power Level (As Dracula grows stronger each time he revives, the Belmonts have had to keep up, evolving to be powerful even without the strength of the Vampire Killer[110]), Sealing (Metaphysical Sealing; Belmonts can capture the spirits of enemies equal or greater to an area boss and use their abilities from their soul[111]), Nullification (Sealing Nullification; Belmonts such as Julius can compltely destroy barriers, however depending on how strong the barrier is, they may have no more energy to fight[112])
The Castle Abilities Include:
Reality Warping (The Castle does not work on standard logic, where changing rooms can have one view a completely different background[166], such as room with a blue sky that is reflecting up and downwards and having the cloud srotate at a fast speed[167]), Transmutation (Beings that come near are subject to the castle's influence, such as a local barnyard owl which was mutated just from flying near it[168]), Possession (The castle possesses objects with its magic, such as a ouija table[169]), Sealing (Dracula's magic captured Aguni, a primitive god of fire[170]. The Castle has doors sealed off without solving puzzles[171]. This can extend to walls being sealed off where explosions will not affect it until the seal is gone[172]), Mind Manipulation (Everything that enters the castle is under the control by the power of Dracula's castle[173], the ghost of Eric Lecarde needed to cast a magic barrier to bind himself so he could be free from the control of the castle[174]. The Castle corrupts the minds of those who enter it, such as making Maxim Kischine feel strange ever since coming to it[175]. It also corrupted the mind of Hugh turning him against Nathan with Nathan noting he's being controlled by Dracula[176]. The castle increases one's dark desires, allowing Dracula to easily control them[177]. The magic of Dracula's power that empowers the owl enemy also spurs it to violence[178]), Madness Manipulation (The Castle warped Gergoth, a once-gentle beast and drove it mad[179]), Size Manipulation (Magically enlarged a toad through the use of demonic baptism[180]), Fear Manipulation (Even while far away, Curtis and Michelle felt malicious intent from the castle where their bodies seemed to squeal "run away"[181]. Michelle even being at the entrance to the castle had her body telling her to not go in and her leg muscles being petrified like stone[182]), Curse Manipulation (The Curse status that spirits inflict[183] comes from them absorbing the magic power around the castle. The Castle cursed a human to turn into a lizard man[184]), Life Manipulation (The castle can bring inanimate statues to life to attack[185]. Can cause the glass murals to come to life and attack[186]), Soul Manipulation (Those that die in the castle become one of the floating spirits that wander the halls of the castle for eternity[187]), Abstract Manipulation & Hell Manipulation (The castle can create a core of evil made from hatred, envy, anger and other dark emotions[188])
Wields the Vampire Killer, which grants:
All previous powers and abilities to a greater extent, Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Extrasensory Perception (The Vampire Killer can sense who is a vampire[233], even those who are half-vampire such as Alucard[234]), Magic (The Vampire Killer has been referred to as a magic whip[235]), Contact Damage (Just through enemies merely touching the Vampire Killer they will be damaged by its effects[236]), Non-Standard Interaction (Abstract Interaction; Can interact with and kill Death, the abstract concept of death. Metaphysical Interaction; The Vampire Killer can interact with the creaturEs of the night[237] which includes[238] ghosts[239]. This is also shown in Haunted Castle Revisited[240]. Noted by Simon Belmont that the Vampire Killer will cleave one's soul[241]. Elemental Interaction; The Vampire Killer can interact with creatures of the night made of sand[242]. Can interact with creatures of the night made of fire[243]. Can fully disperse and destroy water bubbles instead of the attack just going through it[244]. Blood Interaction; Can harm and kill enemies made of blood[245]), Nullification (Invulnerability Negation; The Vampire Killer can completely remove Walter's invulnerability[246] to where he was immune to all other[247] weapons prior other then the Vampire Killer[248]. Power Nullification; Julius sealed the Vampire Killer within Dracula's castle in order to rip away Dracula's soul and magic[249]. Energy Nullification; Should be comparable to other magical whips that have been used to negate Dracula's Demonic Megiddo[250]. The Vampire Killer can nullify energy projectiles through hitting them[251], even those from Dracula[252]. Can negate fire projectiles[253]. Electricity Nullification; Can completely disperse and nullify electricity attacks[254]. Seal & Forcefield Nullification; The Vampire Killer can easily break open barrier seals[255]. Transformation Nullification; Christopher with the Vampire Killer injured Dracula so bad to the point that he was unable to transform back into "human" form[256]. Abstract Nullification; The Vampire Killer can nullify and destroy the scythes from Death, who can use his scythes to kill abstractions such as distance and sound[257]. Pain Immunity Nullification; The Vampire Killer can make the White Dragon visibly react to pain[258] and scream out in pain, where it is an immortal being immune to pain and suffering[259]), Regeneration Negation (Holy; Christopher with the Vampire Killer injured Dracula to the point that his powers were greatly depleted and he was unable to do things like simply transform back into "human" form[260]. Juste with the Vampire Killer could permenantely kill Dracula's Wraith to where he'll fade from the world for good who regenerated from the complete destruction of his body[261]), Immortality Negation (Ageless & Life and Death Immunity; The Vampire Killer can render immortal skeleton death gods like Death, mortal, having him bleed from attacks, giving him mortality as shown when Death dies to his own scythe cutting off his head and having blood spurt out, something not possible as a skeleton[262]. The Vampire Killer can kill Death to the point that he requires Mathias to survive in order for him to rise from the dead[263]. Death is a being unconstrained by mortality[264]. Immortal Metaphysical Aspect; Can harm and kill anything related to vampires, even if they are a divine being[265]), Resurrection Bypassing (The Vampire Killer can kill zombies[266], who are corpses brought back to life from the power of hate[267]), Purification (The Vampire Killer can purify people who was turned into a monster[268]. Christopher with the Vampire Killer purified his son of the evil effects of Dracula[269]), Fire Manipulation (Enemies fade into fire upon being struck with the Vampire Killer[270]. Enemies burst into flames when struck by the vampire killer, with the flames attaching to anything it's connected to, such as a spider having its webs burst into flames too[271]. The whip can have fire burst around the enemies even without them dying[272]. Causes even objects like coffins to burst into flames[273]. This is even shown in Lament of Innocence, once Leon has the vampire killer[274]. This is even shown in graphic novels such as Belmonts Legacy[275]), Explosion Manipulation (Trevor swinging the whip at the ground caused the ground to explode[276]), Memory Manipulation & Soul Manipulation (The Vampire Killer holds the souls of the many Belmonts who once wilded it[277], the Vampire Killer could also possibly hold the souls of Belmonts who have not even touched it yet, as it was originally planned to have it summon Julius from the future but they ultimately didn't go with the idea), Lifeforce Absorption (Even if the The Vampire Killer accepts one as its master, it still chips away at one's life force with every lash[278]. One must sacrifice their lifeforce in order to wield it[279]), Deconstruction (The Vampire Killer can reduce one to just a skeleton[280]), Light Manipulation (The Whip can create orbs of light to light up torches[281])
Resistance to Attack Reflection (The Vampire Killer can harm Dracula with attacks where Dracula's mere rib bone reflects all projectiles back[282]), Mimicry (Doppelganger is unable to mimic the vampire killer during[283] the time of Lament of Innocence[284])
All previous subweapons, Penetration Damage (Metaphysical Penetration; With the Silver Knife, penetrates through enemies, passing through them as it damages them[303]), Holy Fire Manipulation & Paralysis Manpulation (With the Sacred Flame, deals creates a fire pillar that damages and stuns enemies hit by it[304]. This can even stun Death[305]. The Gold Knife burst into flames upon contact with enemies and stuns them, doing repeated damage on the enemy it comes into contact with[306]), Death Manipulation (With the Gold Knife a knife used by the god of death[307]), Statistics Reduction (With the Gold Knife Carmilla's pupil becomes dim[308]), Attack Reflection (Dracula's rib bone reflects all projectiles back[309]), Nullification (Poison Negation; As he possesses Dracula's rib bone, he should have the effects of the Rib of Vlad, which has the power to negate poison[310]) Extrasensory Perception (Dracula's eyeball can see invisible objects[311]), Ricocheting Weapon (With the Diamond, ricochets and bounces around the walls while dealing damage to enemies[312])
All previous items, Nullification (Invisibility Nullification; With the White Crystal, reveals an invisible platform[334]. With the Blue Crystal, reveals hidden paths at lakes along with doing what the White Crystal can do[335]. The Red Crystal can do everything the Blue and White Crystal can do[336]. Curse Nullification; The Crystals clear the curse of the river[337]), Soul Manipulation (With the Silk Bag, causes a soul/spirit to be blown into the laurels when Simon wraps them in a silk bag[338]), Invulnerability (Metaphysical Invulnerability; With the Laurel[339], makes Simon invincible to enemy attacks, and it protects him from poisons[340]), Summoning (The Red Crystla can summon a tornado[341]), Water Manipulation (The Blue Crystal can drain the water from a lake, allowing Simon to traverse down it, being noted as the ground accepting/recieving the water[342])

- Morning Star: An add on to the whip that increases it's power in two different stages[343]. The first stage gives it a short chain and the second gives it a long chain.
- Flame Whip: This is a powered up version of the Vampire Killer (Morning Star) Whip, which is given the elemental attribute of fire.
Sub-Weapons

- Gold Knife: The knife wielded by Death himself, which he used to reap the lands and bring death to the living.
- Axe: An axe made with silver, which Simon uses to throw at his enemies.
- Fire Bomb: A jar of holy water that erupts into flames once it is released out of its container.
- Boomerang: This is a boomerang, which is shaped like a holy cross. It returns to Simon after being thrown.
- Watch: A watch that allows Simon to stop time for a brief moment, although it is costly in hearts for him to use.
- Cross: This cross works as the ultimate repellant for dark creatures, destroying all that are within Simon’s vicinity.
- Invisibility Potion: This potion not only makes Simon invisible, but also invulnerable, for a short period of time.
- Sacred Flame: This fireball not only deals incredible damage, but can paralysis an enemy in place for a second.
- Sword: A longsword that Simon wields as a secondary weapon to his whip.
- Torch: A torch that Simon throws into the ground, which explodes into a pillar of flame.
- Bomb: An explosive that Simon throws, which detonates on contact.
- Boomerang: This is a boomerang, which is shaped like a holy cross. It returns to Simon after being thrown.

Notable Techniques
Whip Combos
Simon uses the whip to link both basic and advanced combos, whether stationary or in motion. Some combos move him forward or upward, giving him solid range.
Air Combos
Simon can wield the whip to strike with both vertical and horizontal lashes.
Evading Move
Simon can perform a Thumb Roll in his facing direction, allowing him to dodge any attack as long as he keeps rolling and avoids rolling out of bounds.
Binding Whip
Simon pulls the enemy toward him with a whip, setting up a base combo for either Rising Whip or Holy Ruin.
Rising Whip
Simon charges his whip and delivers an upward strike to the enemy.
Holy Ruin
A surge of energy bursts from a simple strike with Simon's whip.
Dancing Whip
Simon tosses the whip at close range; it inflicts minimal damage but can irritate the enemy.
Twisting Arrow
Simon performs a torpedo dive at his enemies, with higher jumps resulting in stronger hits.
Whip Tornado
Simon charges his whip and performs a 360-degree spin, striking all around him.
Sudden Impact
Simon charges his whip, spins it, and slams it down in front of him, piercing through all defenses with a surge of energy.
Vampire Killer (Simon Version)
Simon charges at his enemy, delivering a blow to set up the Super Finisher. As he charges his whip, the Golden Cross on his back shines brightly. He rushes at his foe, who can't comprehend his speed and power in time to block. Simon strikes his opponent five times vertically and then charges his whip again, increasing its power before delivering another ninety-three hits that create the illusion of a sphere. He concludes with two final, powerful strikes, bringing the total to 99 hits. Landing on the ground, Simon explains to his opponent the power of a Belmont.
Other
Standard Tactics: Simon will use the vampire killer in combat along with a number of different sub-weapons and items that best suit the sitution.
Weaknesses
- Castlevania: Nothing notable.
- Castlevania II: Simon's Quest: Has been inflicted with a curse placed on him by Dracula[344], that kills him in the bad ending of the game[345].
Note
- Contrary to popular belief, holy attacks and the whips in Castlevania can affect and harm people that aren't apart of the creatures of the night. Leon's Doppelganger can use holy water and holy attacks against him in this fight along with the alchemy whip despite Leon being a pure and noble warrior[346]. Simon's Doppelganger can harm him with the vampire killer, despite Simon being a noble hero.
Miscellaneous Feats
- Can break open walls to find hidden items or enemies there[347].
- Can break stone blocks with his whip[348].
- Broke apart stone pillars with his whip[349].
- Can easily break open ice blocks with his whip[350].
- Can destroy full stone blocks with his whip[351].
Trivia
- According to a statement made by the head director of the three Famicom Castlevania games, Hitoshi Akamatsu, the inclusion of the whip as Simon's weapon of choice is a reference to Indiana Jones.
- Simon was originally planned to be named "Peter Dante"[352].
- Castlevania Judgment, for Nintendo's Wii, marks Simon's third appearance in a 3D fighting game, after his bouts in Battle Tryst and DreamMix TV: World Fighters. Like many of the other playable characters, Simon is also able to use his traditional sub-weapons in the game.
- Keith Silverstein, Simon's English voice actor, also did the voice of Albus in Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia.
- The original concept behind the 2010 series reboot Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was to remake the original Castlevania starring Simon. While this idea was ultimately not followed through, Lords of Shadow's protagonist, Gabriel Belmont, wears armor which is reminiscent of Simon's artwork and sprite from Simon's Quest (confirmed in an interview by developer David Cox). This is presumably a reference to Gabriel being the first main character of a new Castlevania series, as Simon was of the original franchise.
- Simon Belmont's sprite also appears in Lords of Shadow after enabling Cheat mode. The sprite copies Gabriel's movements.
- Simon Belmont was the initial protagonist of Paul Anderson's original script for Castlevania: The Movie. Several rewrites of this script took place and it's not known if he was still planned to make an appearance in the final cut. The project was ultimately canceled.
- At the end of the original Castlevania, the name listed in the credits under "The Hero" is Simon Belmondo, while in Simon's Quest it is consistently Simon Belmont.
- His interaction with Genya Arikado in Grimoire of Souls is technically the only time that he and Alucard directly interacted with each other canonically, as Simon and Alucard had previously interacted in Captain N: The Game Master.

“…… If so, why did you take power away from the crack in the eclipse’s seal? If you just intend to imitate like a monkey, isn’t your own power enough?”
Those were the emotionless words of Death.
In response, Olrox laughed his bold answer.
“As I’ve said, I would equally gain control over the human world and the source of Dracula’s power, chaos. I do not intend to obey someone else’s mind aside from my own. That includes you who were born out of chaos.”
“……”
“You should be glad though to know yourself. Just by stealing power, my shameful monotonous time is over…… Even before Alucard appeared, just because I showed up and declared war on him.”
Olrox’s voice was mixed with a tinge of thin delight. He respectfully bowed to Death who completely killed his emotions.
“I would end the reincarnation cycle of this demon castle. I who understood and was spun out of the stains of chaos, swear to rob that power with my hands. Now, yield.”
With Death’s reply, an explosive murderous intent rose.
Two bronze colored scythes much larger than usual appeared; it advanced to the space in between the two men with an intention to cut off Olrox’s head.
Kill the distance-----
Kill the sound-----
Just, faster, soon, die.
It can be seen that the blades have certainly caught Olrox’s neck, but----- that is only an after image and the vampire is already at Death’s back.
“……die.”
That was said by the enemy who called on his servants.
From the surrounding space, a group of purple bats rose, passed by Olrox’s arm with the speed of a bullet, attacking Death. However, Death did not show any gesture of avoiding them. He simply faced Olrox and sprayed out numerous scythes.

Even though it is still far away, their bodies seemed to squeal [run away].
There was definitely no room for doubt. It is certain that the [castle] exists at the back of the mountains. The church’s greatest vampire hunter, Julius Belmont must be contacted. However, the conversation jumped into the matter of the disappearance of several village children." - ↑ Akumajo Dracula: Kabuchi no Tsuisoukyoku "A drawbridge suspended from the main gate is seemingly welcoming Michelle’s arrival.
And her body was telling her [do not go] as her leg muscles were petrified like stone." - ↑ Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls

- ↑ Akumajo Dracula: Kabuchi no Tsuisoukyoku "“Uh……aa……Mi……chelle……”
That really is no doubt an obsession.
The youth had more than 28 holes penetrating his limbs and body. His heart is already starting to fail and he is desperately trying to say something amidst the darkness.
“Only…… protect…… you……-----“
When he said those words he must say, the man’s soul already left his body-----becoming one of the floating spirits that wander the halls of the castle.
However-----
Fate did not allow it.
For those people who are involved with the demon castle, even the loneliness of death seemed half hearted-----
The man’s soul is pierced by a small scythe that flew in from somewhere. That scythe did not exist physically. It was a diabolic blade created by some magic and possessed a strong soul." - ↑ Castlevania: Curse of Darkness Beastiary No. 115

Hammer sensed that the air between the two suddenly felt heavy so he laughed out while holding a weapon.
It was a whip that was soaked in blood in some places.
“I picked this up at the garden and I believe this is yours, right? Old man Julius also uses a whip. I came here just to deliver this to ya.”
Whoosh, receiving the thrown whip, Michelle noticed that it was the magical whip that serves as Curtis’ weapon.
“That’s great……! Curtis! With this your power-----“
In order to shake away the confusion she had a while ago, Michelle raised her voice, but-----
“Sorry, but…… with my current self, I could not handle it.”
“……? What are you talking about? Curtis……”
was he still confused, Michelle made him grip his whip.
Snap, some kind of popping sound rang and Michelle felt a light shock in her arm.
“Uh……!?”
What happened, she directed her eyes on the origin of the shock-----
A part of the whip’s handle had a rotten like disintegration-----
A part of Curtis’ hand was burned, and that skin immediately returned back to as before.
----- No way……
“Curtis……?”
“……I am currently weak at holy magic.”
